1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 08, 2023, 08:15:15 PM

For Fulton and Inoue, only two weeks to go before their fight night and since this fight has been through some delays, so yes, we can say that both camps are just having some few touch ups so that they will not overtrain and derail from their intended goals. They wouldn't want that for sure and I know that both of them is excited already and excited to have this fight, finally.

Everyone is excited, I'm sure. This is going to be one of the best fights this year, especially for those of us who have followed Inoue's journey. It may not be as popular as the Crawford vs. Spence and Davis vs. Garcia fights, but the kind of intensity we are looking for in a boxing match is here, thanks to Inoue. I hope Fulton coordinates by giving Inoue what he wants, instead of hitting and running around.

There's no need to compare these two to Crawford and Spence's league because they have their own set of fans that will surely watch the fight and for the avid fans out there, both of the fights will surely be an interesting sight to see and it will be a missed chance if we will let this slide as this kind of fights are not happening every year especially in this era.

By the way guys, be sure to lock in your bets while we still have more time as the lines might not be the same anymore inside the 48 hours span. Good luck!
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2023, 07:53:52 PM

I don't think you are following because I certainly believe that we have already established that fact and already know beforehand that Artur Beterbiev is a Canadian citizen and has been living in the mentioned country for almost 20 years now. The only thing that connects him to Russia is that he was born at that country, nothing else.

For Dmitry Bivol, just like what I mentioned above, the unification match is not really possible at the moment because the sanctioning bodies are not allowing it to happen. Bob Arum of the Top Rank and Eddie Hearn of the DAZN is the least of their problems because Bob Arum himself already stressed before that the unification fight is only possible is if he will organize it and not Eddie Hearn and it is reasonable enough because it is them who holds three of the four belts existing.

Following that last statement, we know who's Arum is, and what he wants, right? unless Hearn will allow this to happen if money that involves will show up as diamond in his eyes, the chance of making this unification match would likely to take place. But, if there's nothing like that and Hearn is not interested in dealing with negotiation, then there's nothing that fans can do here.

They will both find another alternative and keep the belt that they've got and continue to fight a decent challenger that will matchup against them.

It will be an unfortunate news for the fans all over the globe if ever the unification fight between the two champions will not happen. I can already tell that the negotiations are going to be rough because none of them is willing to give up the right to organize the fight because it will be a big event that will surely generate them a lot of money.
And if things goes worse, Bob Arum should pave a way because Beterbiev is not getting any younger as he is already 38 years old and a couple of years from now, he will have to retire.

Yeah right, if both handlers will not show any interest to settle the possibilities of these fight then it's unfortunate for all the fans as they won't be able to witness this unification fight between these two champs, more on money matter and who will adjust just to allow the fight to take place, or maybe if there are many fans to show interest and bring a huge noise inside SocMed.

The chance that both handlers will negotiate and try to settle things out just to make that huge paycheck depends on how they talk and how they will close the deal.

I guess Bob Arum will surrender the rights to Eddie Hearn if things will not go in his way because if this fight will not happen, Beterbiev will have to vacate the three belts that he is holding upon retirement without having the undisputed fight and most likely, it's Bivol who will have those in the next few years after someone will possess it.

About the hype surrounding about this future undisputed fight, both names involved in it have been making some noise in the past few months especially Bivol for upsetting Canelo and who wouldn't know about Beterbiev in LHW that got a 100% KO rate. So, it's safe to say that the fight will generate decent profits but not really comparable to the undisputed fight in super-welterweight division that we will soon see.

Bob Arum doing that kind of thing when in-fact he already have the right to dictate and demand because they are on the A-side is quite unheard of. But I see your point, it will be pointless if he will argue and make the fight much longer if ever the sanctioning bodies will give the green light because instead of getting some profits out of it, he cannot generate something if a fight will not exist.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 08, 2023, 06:10:13 PM
The fight is going to be on July 29!!! Only 22 days more before we witness who becomes the king of the welterweight division hehehe! We also have another superfight with Fulton vs. Inoue. This month is good to be a fan of boxing.

Also in an interview, Shawn Porter said that Spence has a huge advantage over Crawford in punch output. However, my question for boxing experts of the forum. Will this he enough to win the fight?

Shawn Porter says Errol Spence will have a huge advantage over Terence Crawford with his physical presence and his high punch output on July 29th.

While Porter does rate WBO welterweight champion Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs), he’s incapable of matching IBW, WBA & WBC champ Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) with his volume punching.

Crawford has been a pot-shot fighter his entire fifteen-year professional career, and he’s not going to change now at 36 years old.

Source https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/07/shawn-porter-says-errol-spence-has-huge-advantage-over-terence-crawford/

Much of the predictions were for Crawford before this month. However, presently there are new storylines that are being argued for Spence. The skeptical me is beginning to think that this might be manipulated to end on a draw and give the promoters another chance to collect more money from a part 2.

I'd say that these boxers who are giving their own predictions and speculations are just the same as us, the fact that they are not the ones who are participating the fight is already a reason to say that they are just like us, giving predictions on how the fight would go.

I don't really believe that they are more reliable compared to us who are also watching their fights. The question is, does Spence also believe the same way like what Shawn Porter believes? Because I don't think that Spence is that confident to say that a huge advantage over Crawford as he knows that the latter is also a different boxer in his own way, that's why he was able to retain the belt for more than five consecutive years now.

Maybe Porter is saying otherwise. I mean, he fought both boxers and was able to give Spence a good fight, resulting in a split decision win for Spence. However, when Porter fought Crawford, he lost via TKO. So based on his experience, he should have said that Crawford has the edge because he suffered his first TKO loss against him.

Or Porter was just fooling around saying stuffs like these because it's either he wanted to see Spence eat the same punches as he do and end in the same outcome or he's just praising Spence so that he can see Crawford in the defeated corner unlike what he had experienced when he was there in the ring facing Crawford. Other than that, I don't see any reasons why Porter is saying that Spence got an advantage when in-fact he can truly say what it is based on his experience and people will just laugh at him for having this kind of prediction.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 08, 2023, 05:49:28 PM
That would be a great record to have, but FIFA is so concentrated on making money and extracting as many resources from the world cup that it would not surprise me if at some point they had the fantastic idea, notice my sarcasm, to play the world cup every two years instead of doing so every four years, in which case the record of Ronaldo will be easily crushed, now this may seem unrealistic now but it would not surprise me if they actually tried to do this in a few decades.

World Cup every two years? Impossible!!!

As ambitious for money as FIFA is, this would be a totally inappropriate suggestion for a competition of the magnitude that the world cup has.

In order to hold this event, there must be large investments by the host countries, a lot of mobility and changes in the schedule, there is no way to do this every two years.

Fifa has already increased the number of teams in the competition and this is what they can do best.

Another solution would be to make the tournament a regular competition and more spread out between the years, but that would take the "brightness" out of the tournament and become a "normal" competition.

The less Fifa messes with the world cup, the better!

You didn't even notice his sarcasm Cheesy he just said it mate.

A World Cup in every two years really do sounds ambitious and I don't think that it will be granted if ever the FIFA council will try to make it. Countries around the world will lose their desires to host for this kind of event as it will be not rare anymore and people won't be that interested anymore as they know that they can always see the next World Cup in the next two years, instead of four years where they will indeed prepare for it and will not lose the chance to see the event.
The beauty of the FIFA World Cup tournament is the fact that it is being held every 4 years, so I think that making it biannual competition would make it look boring and uninteresting to many football fans.
One thing about the current board of FIFA is that they really want to monetize everything. They know that if the FIFA World Cup is held every two years it will generate more income that it does when it is held every 4 years football must not be all about the money. Current FIFA executives should not please  ruin the fun and beauty of the beautiful round leather game.

I know that they just want to take advantage of the event and have as much as profits to be generated but making it twice in a span of four years is some extra and the fans around the world will not be that excited anymore and also, countries will have less time to prepare for the upcoming cup which may result into a problems that they don't wanted in the first place. What they have now is already good enough and if they want to monetize it, they should have another plan and not this nonsense.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 08, 2023, 02:46:17 PM
-snip-

It's funny. This site calls it "a perfect 3-team trade", but I'd say it's a perfect deal only for the Nets and the Heat but not for the Blazers. The way I see it, getting a few future first-round picks, as well as an aging Lowry and a weird guy like Simmons, would be a dumb decision by the Blazers' management. In that case, the Blazers would look like the Rockets, who have been trying to rebuild their team for a few seasons now.
My thoughts are the same as yours, but to say that 3 perfect team trades are actually also appropriate because they made quite good deals and of course other teams cannot imitate them.
But here I'm actually assuming that actually the Heat are the ones who benefit the most to be able to have good preparations for next season.
Blazers have been trying to get better but let's see what they can do for next season although I doubt there will be anything surprising that the Blazers can achieve.

Well, let's see if the Portland will get that kind of bait just because of a couple of first round picks are laid towards them. I know that they wanted to grant Dame's wishes but this is just too far and I don't really think that they will just agree on it especially with Simmons on the trade, they aren't that dumb to accept a player that doesn't know what team play is and he was just so different nowadays compared to the time when they were great in the Sixers.

If the Blazers will have no other choice and doesn't find any better offer than what this 3-way trade, then I guess they would gladly accept it, otherwise they'll be keeping a Dame Lillard who are less interested to contribute to the team.
On the other hand, I don't even understand why they keep signing Ben Simmons, the guy have just totally lost his talent after being slammed because of his poor shooting percentage. I don't even know if the guy has a value LOL.
Well, I'm really hoping the Heat could pull this one of and it's now or never for Dame. The Heat are in a hot momentum for the playoffs, and Dame is surely a great addition to the team.

We will know in the next few days what would be the outcome of this trade because it surfaced on the internet recently that the Heat and Portland will meet somewhere to have a meeting together with Dame's agent, it seems that the latter is also looking forward to trade Dame because they are already overextending their hand just for this one and just like what you've said, keeping Dame is not an advantage anymore as the player might lose his interest.

And for this Ben Simmons, when he was still in Philly, he signed a massive 5-year deal worth $177 Million and by now, he already have 2 seasons left to play and with what he is acting recently, I don't think that there would be any team in the league right now that will get him from the free agency and sign with him.
1806  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk; a school on its own. on: July 07, 2023, 02:06:48 AM
this forum is truly extraordinary, even though the initial purpose of establishing this forum was only to discuss bitcoin but over time, many other discussions have sprung up, starting from discussing altcoins > economics > politics > trading > even mining, all of which are presented in full at this forum.

i admit that knowing this forum and being able to become a member here is a blessing for me, there is really a lot of knowledge about anything that i can get here, just a suggestion for beginners, don't be lazy to read, there are lots of great posts here, this forum is a public school.

1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough on: July 06, 2023, 09:58:58 PM
Yes this has been the Tag line ever since now and would love to follow it always after having few bad experiences with the exchanger. The first incidence was during the Zerodha collapse in India when I had most of the funds on zerodha. The problem started when Zerodha grew very big in very short period of time. They had this charm of attracting peeps on their platform with easy to use exchange facility, cheap rates of fees, faster transaction etc. However it was deceiving factor to get into it. That’s how I lost the touch with wallets which are non custodial. But after it collapsed most of the funds were ceased and were locked for very long time until banks unlocked them for us. Since then I’m not trusting any exchanger at all.
I must say your experience has greatly taught you a big lesson, and that is not to trust centralized exchanges as they can’t guarantee the safety of our coins in a long period. Yes, we would always want to look for bigger and more reputable exchanges when trading, but that is just for trading purposes as we only have few decentralized exchanges that are making their own names in the market. Other than that, storing a lot of bitcoin in a centralized exchange will never be advisable anymore. You can open your own hardware wallet for better security, which will not put your coins into high risk of losing.
1808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need a book recommendation on: July 06, 2023, 09:30:19 PM
There's nothing I can recommend because I don't read trading science books.
I prefer to watch videos and look at some trading articles.
Now there are many videos available for beginners on how to analyze the crypto market and what tools to use.
A lot of knowledge you can easily get nowadays.
Reading books is not bad, but as another support video is a good medium.
I agree with you, but it really depends on the culture of each person from country to country. For example Finland, they are a country that has the world's best literacy rating as released some time ago.

But of course the development of technology and intelligence has made it easier for many people to get a lot of information. Many video creators share their knowledge in various media, both Youtube and others. But I don't think beginners need to be too excited to make a quick buck in the market, and they just need to really focus on improving their skills and knowledge before trying anything risky.
Beginner traders have their own preferred medium where they can learn easily and where they can learn more. So if they’re fond in reading, those articles found online would be a lot of help. However, for me I’m usually fond on seeing videos, aside that I easily learn from it, at least my eyes too will start to familiarize the scenarios and factors that occur mostly when trading. So whatever your preference OP, give it a try. Also, don’t forget that this forum too will give you valuable ideas about trading. Explore the trading boards and you will definitely learn a lot from the well experienced traders.
1809  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting an MBA before starting a company or directly starting a company? on: July 06, 2023, 08:59:33 PM
Getting an MBA is beneficial because it sets you apart from the rest of the pack. One of the advantages of an MBA is that it forces you to read and learn, which helps you expand your knowledge about any business you want to venture into. I strongly believe that one of the reasons why start-ups fail is because they lack a solid foundation in understanding frameworks and conducting their own research, instead of relying solely on purchased data. While it is true that not everyone may be able to afford an MBA program, the truth is that there is so much to learn from it. If you had the opportunity to pursue an MBA before starting a company or directly starting a company, which option would you choose?

For me, that’s not very important these days as your success will not matter anymore on your degree and achievements but most likely from your experience. Knowledge is power but know that experience will matter the most. Regardless if you are a newbie or not in a business, the fact that you have related experiences in managing a business, then for me that is very vital for your upcoming success. Also, not just experience but you should also take in high consideration the business location. If there’ll be less consumers in that area, then your business will never achieve its target sales, hence making your business insufficient to provide active and big sales.
1810  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature and Forum Campaign Question on: July 06, 2023, 08:45:08 PM
First question, why are there boards where the signatures cannot be displayed or aren't visible on the forum? Second question is why do campaign managers exclude certain boards for posting and others where posting is allowed?
Because the admin and moderators make the boards or thread not to contain signature.

Campaign manager exclude some boards because it is full of poor poster or full of what they do not want, like the off-topic. Another is altcoin board which bitcoin mixer will not allow because bitcoin is not an altcoin. Campaign managers have different reasons. You can see a campaign manager that will accept certain boards, while the other campaign manager will not.
Campaign managers have different rules actually, some will pay if you post in local boards, while others will not. But posting in off topic or in boards that your signatures will not be displayed will always be strictly followed. Otherwise, you will not receive your weekly payout. Learn to follow the rules because that is very important when you participate in a signature campaign. You don’t want to be removed in the campaign I think, worst is if you keep breaking their rules, you will be banned in all the manager’s campaigns.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 08:30:10 PM
I have a small cloth shop. Currently everything in my own country is very expensive, so we are facing many problems in our life. The shop I have used to sell well. But now due to the increase in price, there are not as many customers or sales as before. Again. On top of that I have to pay rent for the shop which has become a bit difficult for me. After entering this platform I got to know Bitcoin. Then after browsing many places I realized that I can earn money by investing in Bitcoin. So I want to invest in Bitcoin. So I have my weekly I decided to invest in bitcoin from a profit share. I think I made the right decision. I hope that I can use my bitcoin profit for other purposes. Hope you guys can help me with good advice.
Investing in bitcoin is a good choice, as you might even be more profitable in it than in your own shop especially that your everyday sales is not as high as before. However, you can also inform your active customers that you will also accept bitcoin payment in your shop, at least they don’t have to use cash anymore and just make use a portion of their coins. That way, not only you will promote bitcoin, but you will also gain additional income. The more bitcoin users in your shop, the more coins you will accumulate. In the end, even if you ran out of cash, at least you have sufficient amount of bitcoin that is obviously has greater value than fiat.
1812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 05, 2023, 09:44:47 PM
Your friend is lucky that he get benefit from all type of coins which is very difficult. Some new coins are very difficult to reach maximum price and holders fails to get profit. I think your friend should avoid this Babbitt because this time he get profit but may be next time he loss his own money too because new and unknown coins are risky for investment.

Diversification is beneficial but not in such coins which you have no knowledge and no previous data so just diversify your money into 3 or 4 project but those project which gave profit to its holders. Knowledge is necessary because luck will not always helps you in getting profit so be conscious about project and create your experience through investment in successful projects.
Learn to diversify but only to those you know will give benefits too. Because if you take risk investing in altcoins today so you can make use of their future profits to buy bitcoin, then I’m not certain when it will possibly happen. Otherwise, you are just investing at a loss. However, you can always diversify by not investing into crypto again, but by taking some risk on stocks or bonds, or by simply investing in real estate as its value will always appreciate in the future.
1813  Economy / Economics / Re: To Hodl or Lend: What is your take? on: July 05, 2023, 08:49:21 PM
One of the major reasons why bitcoin Enthusiasts hold bitcoin is in anticipation of a price increase that would increase the value of their asset. However, holding your bitcoin requires a patience mixed with strong will. It is the patience to be patient for a long period of time until the price makes a 10%, 20% and so on increase. Strong will not to use it to solve some immediate problem and risk a reduction in your asset. Consequently, not everyone one can wait that is why some decide to learn bitcoin trading so that they can make some quick profit that would also increase their asset holding. Some other become bitcoin lenders. Yes, they use either a centralized or decentralized platform to lend their bitcoin which would be repaid with interest. What is your honest take on bitcoin lending? Too risky, won't try it? Too risky, will give it a try?
I don’t see it a wrong move to lend your bitcoin especially if you have a lot of it. However, if you only have limited amount of bitcoin, then don’t take some risk lending it to an exchange or to someone who’s capable to pay for it. We’ll never know that exchange will suddenly become insolvent so your bitcoin will be instantly gone like thin air. The reason why I never get tired from hodling because at least they’re safe with me, than to lend and get some interest, and in the end you’ll be surprised you’ve lost your bitcoin in an instant.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: July 03, 2023, 07:42:10 PM
In any case, perhaps it was a good decision for Moloney as he is not a champion. But then again Donaire has also a greater chance to win as well if we look at the current odds, he is the favorite here.

Even the fighter that Moloney fought is not a champion, when Inoue left the Bantamweight division, all the belts were vacated. Therefore, Moloney had the opportunity to choose any boxer for a championship fight. It's just unfortunate that he passed on fighting Donaire and instead opted for an easier opponent.

A wise choice that gives him the belt. I'm sure that if he takes Doniare, it can be a hard fight to him, knowing how good Donaire
was and what his capabilities were. It might be a different outcome for Maloney.

Now, it's Doniare that will take his chance to regain his belt, still positive that he can outperform Santiago here, experienced and his
strong hook will be his advantage. As I believe that his skills are still intact, just the speed is no longer the same.

We cannot really blame Jason Moloney if he opted for a much safer fight and a fight that can happen much earlier that can make him a champion with less risks involved because even if he will deny it, it is somehow clear that he truly ducked for Donaire and preferred to be a champion without having much trouble along the way.

And to think, maybe Moloney can indeed evade Donaire for good because there are other vacant belts that needs to be possessed and given the latter's situation, he might not last that long in the industry where he can fight Moloney and be the undisputed champion while there are no boxers that are much stronger than him.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 03, 2023, 06:36:25 PM
Naoya Inoue had no quarrels whether he will fight inside Japan, in US or in any other country. It's just that organizers and Bob Arum prefer to make the fight happen in Inoue's backyard because they might have already compared the revenues to other places and it's much more suitable for Inoue to challenge Fulton in Japan as that will generate more profits for them.

Inoue can have this fight in a US soil but I guess it is already established that more money can be made in Japan where Inoue is already an icon rather than in US where Fulton is not yet considered in that level.

I agree with that. Based on his records, we can see that most of his fights have taken place in Japan. However, he has also fought outside his country with the same dominant results. So it seems that the revenue generated from his fights matters a lot. In the world of boxing, the higher weight divisions tend to be the money makers, while Inoue's current division may not yet generate as much financial interest.

Nope, Inoue already has established a good name and he has been mentioned by several boxing legends and some active boxers as well. Whoever Inoue is facing it will always going to generate a good money because the boxing fans would come to see Inoue's performance.

A boxer who have an excellent skill sets can be easily become popular that will attract boxing fans.

It's the division mate and not Inoue himself because we have already established that fact already.

I mean, just try to imagine the super-bantamweight division if there's no Inoue, will it gain so much supporters in that division? Will the organizers benefit much from that division? I guess that's all a no because the boxers in that weight class aren't that famous compared to Inoue who have been making noise in the industry especially when he was at 118 division.
1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 03, 2023, 06:13:13 PM
Also, one more piece of news came out and I thought they are just discussing the matter about the roster.
Damian Lillard requests trade after 11 seasons with Blazers
Damian Lillard is calling his shot. Portland's all-time leading scorer is ready to leave the only team he's ever played for.

https://www.nba.com/news/blazers-damian-lillard-requests-trade

Honestly, I'm not that surprised about his move for requesting a trade because I already gave it a thought beforehand that sooner or later, Damian Lillard will force a trade as Portland cannot just bring some superstar by his side to provide more results for the team.

I mean, I know he could have requested a trade if he wanted to in the past few years but he chose to stay and gave the Portland some chance.

Damian Lillard trade destinations: Star wants Heat, but plenty of other teams have more to offer

Very sad to see Dame Lillard and Portland ending this way. I remember when they were  a contender, really nice team with CJ and him, but always something lack on that team, also they fight against the mighty Golde State. So no luck on the time they play, so good franchisce in the west coast at the same time.

He has been playing for the team for a while, and yet they haven't accomplished their goal. It's understandable that Lillard would make a decision to join a team that he believes, with his help, has a chance to win the NBA Finals. Just imagine if Lillard had already been on the Heat roster in the last NBA Finals. I'm sure they would have had a big shot at winning.

And most probably they will not end the regular season in the 8th seed or just barely passed to play in the Play-in Tournament, and in the finals, I'm sure that they could have brought more results or even made a difference if Dame was already in the roster. But in reality, that was not the case and in the upcoming season, it's not that even clear that Dame will land in Miami as there are lots of teams in the league right now who is very inclined to have him.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 03, 2023, 05:39:31 PM
I can't really say if it will happen or not as I don't see or heard something that is worth fighting for, I mean they are both a successful men in their generation, and there is no need to prove those things in a fight as they will just be a laughing stock in the public, fighting for nothing.

But aside from that, I think there's something going on behind the scenes that only Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg knows. I cannot say what it is because I don't know either and it will be revealed once a fight date will be announced soon. But if there will be no fight that will be announced next month, I guess they are just fooling around and even drag White with it.
After all, the two are of different generations because Elon is already old, while Mark is still young and productive. It won't prove anything at most it's just a matter of who has the most fans. After all, that fight was also unnecessary.

It's better if the two of them can collaborate to create something more useful for people, especially those who use the internet. It will increase their popularity instead of fighting or making tweets that can create panic or chaos.

Maybe that is the plan after all and this fight will just pave a way to make a project happen, and to determine who will have more shares between the two of them or rather will have the CEO title Grin just kidding.

As the day goes by, the chances of the fight became less and less and I don't see any fresh news too regarding this fight. The last thing I've heard was that Dana White made a guarantee to the public that this fight will happen as he talked both Mark and Elon about it if they were really serious or not.

Of course, it does matter because at 168, Canelo got of belts to defend and while he might be the stronger one, but his win is not guaranteed and that is also the reason why he's definitely thinking twice before giving what Bivol wanted because as per the last discussion they have made, Canelo tried to purse the fight at 175 but Bivol and his team declined.

What I meant is that if Canelo wanted to fight Bivol, he can simply made it whether at 168 or 175 lbs. But the reason why the fight is not happening because Canelo have intentionally low ball Bivol for the money.

Yes that is true, I think Canelo can somehow get Bivol's approval to finally get the rematch done if only Canelo is humble enough to keep his feet into the ground and accept that he is not calling the shots in this fight anymore because it is him who is chasing for the rematch while for Bivol, he can always move-on into the next chapter with or without Canelo.

Now he will have only Benavidez to face as a threat in his 3 fight deal with them.

Three fight deal? Wow, that's interesting. Care to share mate? I would love to know more about that deal.

If it's to win at odds, then maybe, if you can.. sometimes in gambling, profits will be more attractive than the ideal of being a fair player. because it's not certain that other gamblers or the odds will also be fair to us. let alone in gambling, even in games as usual there will usually be cheating activities, so this is not a taboo or new thing anymore

This is a poor excuse for cheating: "maybe they are also cheating us". Thieves often try to justify their actions by saying saying something like that. It doesn't work. Judges and people overall don't take their words into account. And rightly so. If you think a casino is cheating, stop playing there and open a scam accusation, but don't try to become a scammer yourself.

It's like I killed someone because I suspect he killed one of my relatives or tried to kill me. Even if it's proved that someone killed your relatives or attempted to kill you, you still cannot kill someone. There are laws in each county. You cannot make a decision based on just suspicion. You should have some proof to claim that he is a killer and should be punished.

Now, we don't know if some casinos were cheating on us. It's not easy for players to cheat a casino if they do not have some kind of bonus. If you find a loophole where you cheat the platform, it's not ethical to use it to take advantage. In this case, you are a cheater.

As the saying goes, you cannot rectify a mistake by making another mistake.

It might be true that casino and its top officials are cheating to the players and let's say that it was proven that they are guilty about that act but still, your decision is not a valid reason to commit a mistake just because they are doing it or everybody is doing it. You yourself know what is right and what is wrong, and you should take pride about that and so that you can be a role model to someone who is looking up on you. You never know.

Dame’s path to Miami is starting to look a little cloudy. The Portland Trailblazers have come out now and said that they’re open to hearing from any team in the league about trading Damian Lillard. They initially seemed to be willing to do whatever it took to get Dame where he wanted to go, but when it came time to sign the dotted line their tune started to change.

It's all a pony show.  They need to say that so that if Miami really wants Dame they want to ring up the price for him.  If they just come out and say we are dealing him to Miami they lose any leverage.  Whether or not he lands there is still up for debate based on the package they get back.  Portland isn't just gonna give him away for anything.

Right now, there are lot of teams in the league who can give a good package in-exchange for Damian Lillard like the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and the San Antonio Spurs. Among all the teams I've mentioned, it seems to me that Brooklyn Nets are the ones who can afford to make a good offer for Dame that will get the Blazer's interest and that Miami Heat version was just too vague as they don't have that much leverage and luxury to make a good offer.
