1841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pathetic Democrats and “mainstream media” propagandists rail at Trump supporters on: January 09, 2021, 04:35:16 AM
Raiding the Capitol is a peaceful riot? It does not take a mainstream media to know what is happening man, it is kind of absurd that they are supporting a businessman that created tax laws that were specially made for the 1%. The fact that someone is still a follower of this loser means that USA is doomed to implode sooner than later and their grip on foreign policy will slowly collapse resulting in a one sided fight for the longed throne. If someone is still a follower of this person, they are ignorant, smooth brain, and fanatics.
1842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin outperforming Gold on: January 09, 2021, 03:52:51 AM
~
We may have some misunderstanding with this. I am not saying I'm in favor of gold or bitcoin, What I am trying to imply in my message is that, if you are looking for a long-term shell life "SAVE" (just saving), then go for gold, as it is stable compare to bitcoin. But if you are a risk-taker just what I've said, and seeks "INVESTMENT" then go for bitcoin.

I am not really good at explaining something like this, but to be simple, take gold if you just want to save your money, take bitcoin if you want it to continue to grow (but of course with a risk).
I did not say that you were in favor, I was just stating my opinion based on the opinion that you put there. I yearn for a neutral standpoint regarding this which causes for me to ask for both sides.

@zanezane

Go on and try, also you need to be careful, scammers is rife in the forum so use a trusted escrow services to make sure that you will be getting all the money that is promised that you will get.

1. Bitcoin could see the next big bull run
We saw another ATH today at $40,000. Isn't a great time that this big bull run we had experienced may eventually a time to prove itself that it is worth to invest.
Current supply is running low and it seems that the prices will still be rising for awhile but it is a dangerous waters that we will be treading because a crash might happen sooner than we expected. I do not want this prediction to be true because if this is the peak of bitcoin then we will never see this kind of run ever again.
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin outperforming Gold on: January 08, 2021, 07:53:30 AM
Bitcoin prices is still volatile, and we can't assure the price of it to be stable, unlike gold who has been kinda stable with a low percentage of changes in its price. But I would say that bitcoin surpasses gold in price, but not in its stability.
If you seek long term save of your asset, without the risk of it reduced in value, then go for gold. But if you are a risk-taker, and seeks a long term investment, then go for bitcoin.
Even if it is volatile, you can still be sure that it will still outperform gold. Gold is controlled by central banking and financial institutions which is the reason why it is so stable. Gold and bitcoin is not the same and I think that people should slowly accept that fact. I beg to differ with you about seeking a long term investment, I wouldn't say that gold is the best one there is because there are other centralized institutions that offer more like Index Funds or Government Bonds, gold will only get its worth when a crash like Great Depression hits. To add salt to the wound, bitcoin is a better long term investment because you do not need any safekeeping fee and just a cold wallet and a private key will be enough.
1846  Economy / Economics / Re: Market Cap Crypto VS Biggest Companies on: January 08, 2021, 07:09:02 AM
It'll take some time before we overtake Google in terms of market capitalization. We'll surely get there, and Google may still get some few billion $ added to its market cap but we'll be reaching it. Most institutional investors are taking a sway from gold and stocks, and are heading over towards bitcoin in recent times. Some die-hard gold bugs are already reconsidering their views on bitcoin, and are aptly warming up to the said cryptocurrency for 2021. They may not be directly investing any time soon, but to know that their POV regarding something that they so despise just a few years back is something really unique.
Once Google release their projects to the public, I think that they will be racing back to the race. They have a lot of projects that are currently in the works, the one that I know of is their quantum computers. Those "die hard gold bugs" will be too late when they finally made up their mind, the supply of bitcoin is already running low and they are still thinking, what a goof.

If you want to do an auction, there is a child board for that called Auctions, since you are willing to do an escrow then it will be easier for you because most users here are bitcoin people. I will drop the link below to the board so you can check it out yourself.

1848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There is no place for feats, beauty and “heroic deeds” in the modern world on: January 08, 2021, 04:11:27 AM
Well, the boomer generations killed the aspirations of the next generation by giving them a hard time finding a job, not profiting from their dream, putting money as if it is the lifeline of every person and perpetuating the dumb archaic ideals. The boomer generation were envious that we will have a good life because we haven't experience shellshock from the wars of yesterday. They even destroyed the idea of heroic deeds by calling them crazy vigilantes, they even created a medal that the only time you will be affirmed as a hero is when you are dead or paralyzed for saving the people.
1849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada $6000 fine if not following 8pm-5am curfew on: January 08, 2021, 03:09:16 AM
whats the problem....
doesnt matter if its $100 or $400,000... if you stay home you pay nothing..
.. hint .. stay home
Exactly, if the curfew helps then why violate it then right? The real bullshit here is that people see this as a violation of their rights when they really don't have one. I hate the fact that the public is ignorant, they hate the virus but at the same time they hate the measures that are being put to mitigate infection, I swear to anyone's God, the reason that we will become extinct as human race is our ignorance. To think that we are higher beings than animals.
1850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 25th Amendment after Trump supporters riot in the Capital on: January 07, 2021, 02:11:01 PM
The riot in the Capitol is the proof that the 1% that is owning the world is successful in dividing the people when in reality they all just agree to change power so those average heads will think that change is coming. If we start teaching the following generations critical thinking and questioning everything they read I think that a shift in balance will happen but right now with the current majority being willfully ignorant, amoral, heartless and dumb, we will not get nowhere. No matter the politician that you are on when you are any of what I mentioned before, the only change that will happen is a change in the person that is holding the title of President.
1851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Wealth Sharing System - Ponzi scheme on: January 07, 2021, 12:12:29 PM
Hi this is our official Bitcointalk forum account,

we are provably fair, you guys are just stupid, sorry.

do you know what a raffle is and how it works?

lets say a pool prize is $5 - WSS sells 5 tickets at $1 each ticket winner total pool value is $5 - 5x your bet, second double your tokens is simple odd games 1 out of 2 winner 50/50 odds - one out of the 2 tickets win pool.

Seriously you all are morons, and yet arrogant enough to not even contact us read our white paper, blog, anything or do anything but slander us.

Morons, thanks you!
That is not how you respond when you are getting accused. The suspicion will only heighten if you use expletive language so if I were I would stop using that right now. Of all the words in the English language, why do you think Wealth Sharing System is an appropriate name for a brand. I know that there is something fishy just because of your name, also your raffle is a Ponzi scheme, if you actually look up the definition, it says there that the money earned by the early investor came from the money of the late investor.
1852  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Got scammed on: January 07, 2021, 10:23:15 AM
Some companies contacted me. They claim they Can track Bitcoin movement and trace scammers to claim money back. They want to be paid in advance. Is it possible?
No they will scam you, anyone can do the tracking but you do not need to pay first. That is a blatant scam, they are playing with your emotions right now because you got scammed so you wouldn't think about them proposing to track the perpetrator for you. If you want someone to track the scammer, try your local authorities. Do not deal with suspicious services online because you will likely get scammed.

This is wallet address that stold my uni
Even if you know the address, you can't get it back unless the perpetrator is in your country, you can report it on the authorities but if the perp is from a different country then it will be difficult even for the authorities to do anything because they will be going out of their jurisdiction. One can only hope that the perp will expose his/her identity as @joniboini pointed out. Clean your devices if you can because a keylogger or RAT(remote access tool) is hibernating in your devices.
1854  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Year in Review on: January 07, 2021, 07:57:25 AM
This inspires me to do trading, I am only on the hodling side of things so I do not have that much in my portfolio. Some day I will be doing some trading but right now I plan to save as much fiat money and bitcoins to fund my trading. I want to get that year review too.
1855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 07, 2021, 06:45:29 AM
In the trader's perspective, if your goal is simply to make profit in USD and you did end up making profit, why regret? It's not like you can time the exact top. Your goal was to make profit, and you did just that. Even the best traders can't exactly predict peak prices.

In a Bitcoin enthusiast's perspective, I mean, why did you even sell? If you sold just so you can "buy back at lower prices", well, lesson learned. All you can do right now is earn fiat for you to be able to buy more bitcoin, or straight-off earn bitcoin one way or another.
This look likes what my guideline when it comes to selling looks like, although it is a mixture of trader and enthusiast perspective where I leave some for it to grow. Price prediction is never my strong suit so I do not mind that I got a bad price when I sold my bitcoin, I know that I can get it back anyway so just leave it all behind. To OP, the best way to deal with that feeling is to never think about it in the first place.
1856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources for trading strategies? on: January 06, 2021, 08:23:03 AM
Money should be the first resource that you should cover because it will be the lynchpin in your journey as a trader. Books that tackles cryptocurrency trading is worth a shot to read at because, you can find them online. Do not go for trading courses because the course providers do not have your best interest when you buy their program, look for free courses as much as possible but you need to be careful because some of them are counter to your process so take their words with a grain of salt.
1857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you Interested in trading? on: January 06, 2021, 07:05:16 AM
Trading is one of the jobs that is very free, of course that makes me interested,
I know the science of trading since I entered the crypto world,
and until now trading is my job, the risk is great, but if you want to be successful you have to do that.
Doing trading just to be successful is counterintuitive in my opinion because it will put on an unnecessary burden that subconsciously pressures you do to things that might cause your trading performance to become bad. Trading is not a free thing, you are paying with your time, you also need a copious amount to negate some losses for awhile, fees for each transaction and fees for exchanges, so no, trading is not free. The risk can be manageable even though it is great.
1858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: January 06, 2021, 06:30:09 AM
Is there a way to know who is buying the btc/selling it right now when looking at an exchange?  Like if someone is offering or wanting to buy a lot of btc... think hundreds or more... you got to assume that is some wealthy or rich person right?  And in the thousands... would obviously be institutions?
Knowing who buys and sells BTCitcoin at the moment will defeat the purpose of blockchain in the first place, which is to hide your identity with each transactions. The only exception is that if that person voluntarily revealed his/her identity.

To answer the question in the title, in my opinion, the price movement is a mixture of supply and demand, and unknown. As the supply decreases (amount of BTCitcoin in the market), the demand increases(the price of BTCitcoin) or vice versa. The unknown is best explained by a quote in the movie Wolf of Wall Street, "Nobody knows when the prices go up, down or side ways"
1859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: January 06, 2021, 05:22:40 AM
If you do not have the discipline to hodl what you are buying then the best that you can do is to buy the amount, put it in cold storage and put it in a case with all the necessary details to access it then lock it somewhere that you will forget to look at. For example, a metal box that is buried in concrete in your basement, a storage that specializes in storing items for an extended period of time. There are creative ways to hodl if you are not disciplined, you just need the will to find one. Don't forget, do not buy what you can't afford to lose, do not put all your savings in long term hodl, always find ways to stream income and finally always prepare an emergency fund worth at least 6 months on the lower end or 18 months at the extreme.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The viability of Trading Bots. on: January 06, 2021, 04:04:47 AM
~
I think the problem is simply that many people believe a bot is a "get rich fast" tool that you set up once, run for months, and then just cash out 1xx BTC in profit.
In my experience, a bot is simply a very good support to execute your own trading strategy much faster, more targeted and most importantly, with pinpoint accuracy. Nothing more. If your strategy is bad, so is the bot.
That will not be on the bot's problem then, it will be on the strategy that the user is employing on his trading. AFAIK, there are some bots that are automated although at lower volumes.
