Did you change the balance alert?  It's now glowing red on wins AND losses.

Hi FUR11, you are very sharp. We've just did some update on the balance update by Nahtnam's feedback (thanks Nahtnam!). Now the balance is updated immediately after your bet Cheesy. In the middle of update you may seen wrong balance alert notification, however its only for a few seconds and now working as good as usual  Smiley

No problem. If you want, I can test your site a little more (for free)! Just pm me.

Look at his signature space, "This space can't be bought, just like it's owner" or whatever.
They're just like 90% of everyone else in this thread trying to make advertising cheap, and people earning money for advertising cheap.
"Oh, so you're earning a few extra cents per month? Scum of the earth, I presume."
It's someone trying to "Prove a point" about his own signature space, and implies that if you sell yours you have sold your soul.

Technically speaking, I'm not against using the sig to represent or even advertise a 3rd party...

It's what is being advertised is what catches my eye. Nothing but scams or skimming sites, rigged gambling sites (where rigging got so normal, they even openly admit or advertise with it) and other questionable "services".

Not far down the road, and people would advertise for human trafficing, drugs, slaves and any other contraband if they could just get away with it - just for as long as they make a little profit off it.

You'll never find me questioning anyone giving his sig to a good cause. Why should I ?
It's the complete absence of morale and ethics - sold out for a few Satoshis - that I point my finger at.
I simply won't have warm&nice words to folks who count money with a grin on their face, earned by assisting to channel unsuspecting people into places where they get skinned left&right.

At this point its not satoshis, its 0.1-0.5 BTC per month (average)...

Varies due to referrals?

Well if you use Stunnas sig, it varies with the amount of posts.

But you use referral in your sig, don't you? That must net you some coin Tongue

No, I dont. That link just came with the signature.

At this point, I am going to ignore any posts that are not relevant to the topic.

Here is a prime example on what goes on in threads. People go off topic on threads about things that can be discussed through PM's. This unnecessarily bumps old threads.

hehe, indeed...

After all, they need the posts as they get paid by them.

Also nice to see how quickly they softball each other to keep the illusion of meaningful posts/replies alive.

What matters here is, would any of this conversation since nahtnam's interjection have happen had myself and/or apsvinet not had paid signatures?

Of course not, because people are quick to pounce on honest members while spam bots, actual spammers and scammers roam the boards.

If members of this community wouldn't get so butthurt over paid sigs then perhaps we'd make some progress with the real issues around here.

This thread wouldnt exist if it werent for paid sigs. Even I have a paid sig, BUT I have a personal deal. I get paid a set amount of money no matter how much I post, I really dont have an incentive so I dont spam, but you on the other hand get paid per post which gives you a huge incentive to spam. Im not saying that you are a spammer, but it would be great if you didnt go off topic on threads. Anything off topic should be through PMs.
1869  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: March 05, 2014, 12:25:26 AM
I'd vote for keeping things as they are...

I find is useful that poeple who mindlessly rent their sigs as spam openly demonstrate that they can be bought dirt cheap and have no principles or conscience.
It tells alot about someone who does that, thus I consider it useful info.
When I was advertising for bit777 he only had a few people so he checked everyone thoroughly. I made 298 posts and got paid for all of them.
It's easy to not spam and still post a lot, you just have to have opinions and know stuff to answer people's questions, or participate in discussions. I joined Primedice today and I've made about 35 posts, none of them would qualify as spam imho.
The change is some sort of collective punishment, for a few nutjobs spamming for their lives to get cash.

Yeah, I don't even set a quota or anything. If I have something to say, then I'll say it. Some days I don't even post.

Getting into conversations definitely helps! I think that I'll be a full member within a few weeks, just got to wait it out Smiley
Hah same, it's not my regular income, it's just nice to get something as a reward for doing something that you otherwise enjoy.

Precisely! Likewise too - do you trade?

I have a window open at work with the exchange up - though I'm sure that it only stresses me out haha.

We were on topic and discussing the subject matter till that response, of which I could've decided to answer with a PM.
The forums are there for people to be able to communicate, and just as well as he didn't have to post that you did not have to read it.
Can people stop behaving like babies that needs to be taken care of constantly and mind themselves instead?

The whole point of this thread is that people are getting off topic on the forum because of the sig programs. This is exactly what just happened. Im not judging on how you would respond, I am saying that it is happening across the forum.

Check the most recent post I made... It would be great if you would put the server seed and user seed where its visible. That way people can easily copy and paste it elsewhere.

I played a little bit on the site. A few major things that should be added.

Instant updates. Whenever I roll, it takes the balance a few seconds to update. It also takes a few seconds to update the My Bets section. These should be instant. Also there should be an option to change the user seed, or it IS NOT provably fair!

You can change the user Seed nahtnam Smiley Under the Fair button

Yes I see that. It would be much better to be able to change it for every bet. You should also show the server seed on the front page so that people can easily save it.

I think this is a bit unfair, some guys are getting all of referrals because of this...

If the first post contains a referral link please report it, that's not allowed.

Is it allowed if its your site and you want to track how many users you are getting from here?

sorry this is going to take a little longer, i don't want to take the accounting responsibility for this and will need to send the btc back to the mastercoin accountant and have them handle this.

sorry for the delay but it's not worth for me to take on accounting headaches...

No problem.

Nothing really happened just feel like it's been 2 weeks since my last activity update. Would be nice to know how the forum calculates it. If the starting point is the registration date, then my points should be added on the 30th of every month, but that didn't happen. (I'm quite sure my points are exactly the same for over a week). It's not much of a problem I can wait a bit more.

As I got it, the day activity increases doesn't depend on your registration date. As said before, it increases automatically for all at the same time... Grin

It's not. Just wait for the activity to update and then you'll be able to work it out.

Next activity period will start tomorrow, for everyone.
In exactly 49731 seconds starting from now. Wink

Okay, keep us informed, lol... Grin

Thanks a lot. I have been here for a while but I still don't know some of the stuff. I guess you just keep on learning.

Was considering signing in again but then saw this change to 0.0001 Sad
but now you are going to Sr Member and hope you have high rate then why are not signing again
I probably will, as sr member rates are v good, but last month before the change full members were paid 0.0002, now it's only half of that, don't know how long it will take before I go up a level, I've been sitting on current activity for a few weeks now Cheesy
why your activity stuck because its works automatically for all and moves after every 14 days is there any problem what happen to you
