Hopefully he can live up to being the top seed right now otherwise, Djokovic can still reclaim that this year. This is just the difference between the big 3 before, they are really psychologically though in close games and seldom we see them being upset perhaps just to other ranked but not to relatively unknown player.

I don't think Djokovic will be able to regain the number one spot this year. He's a long way back in points already, there are zero points available for Wimbledon, and there's a decent chance that Djokovic won't be able to play the US Open or other US events. Looking at the 2022 singles race, Nadal is already almost 4000 points clear of Djokovic.

Djokovic may still be the best player in the world, but the rankings won't reflect that any time soon.

Djokovic womt be back for at least a year on first place. With him not playing AO then not winning Rolan Garros and now Wimbledon not giving points. Grand slams are really killing him this year plus with vaccination he wont play US Open. Tournaments arent going in his favor and plus he is playing a low number of tournaments. I honestly dont see him in top 5 by the end of the year

Sebastian Haller is having his most productive years as a striker now. He is 28 years old and I believe the most productive age range is 25-29 for a striker. There are of course some exceptions like Benzema for example. Anyway, Dortmund are after a really good player I believe because Haller has been showing a wonderful performance at Ajax. I don't know how much he can fill Haaland's place but he can surely make a big contribution with many goals. It seems like they are preparing a deal worth €35m which is quite favourable.

Sebastian Haller is a really good striker and in Dortmund he would get a lot of chances per match like Halland but it wont be easy like in Ajax where he had 5-6 chances per match and that he plays against much weaker teams. But still this would be a good move for him
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 23, 2022, 08:37:36 PM
Slots arent the only thing that causes gambling problems there are a lot more other machine games such as roulette and other stuff. I think its just pure luck on slot games if you win. But in longterm you will lose 100% when playing any kind of slot games
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 23, 2022, 06:44:15 PM
I will not mention any particular gambling casinos, but what are your thought if the casino or casinos with good feedback from the community, but with one unresolved scam accusation but from all angles, the accusation is legit with all the screenshots, transaction hash email conversation are provided by the complainant lets say he is not allowed to withdraw his earnings amounting to $100k but from all angles the accusation is valid, don't you think with thousand good feedback, its enough for the casino to lose his reputation with one legit accusation.

Well this really depends honestly. If the casino is not known at all i wouldnt bet on that site at all. If it is one of the biggest one i would maybe continue to bet but with only smaller amounts of money. One really bad feedback can make a huge difference

-snip

you are true regarding statistics, and I do think that Medvedev is equal to Djokovic on hard surface (maybe even better), but this is grass

and Medvedev is far from great on grass
there are always some lower ranked players, that are grass specialists, and far better on Wimbledon than other tournaments

US open and AO are main GS tournaments for Medvedev, he is not all surface specialist, althouth better for grass than clay, certainly

Well AO title says it all how good Djokovic is on hard surface and that is the main thing why i think that Djokovic is better on hard court. On grass court there is no doubt honestly. Medvedev also lost today against Bautista and with such bad results Medvedev is ranked #1 and i think he dosent deserve it
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: June 22, 2022, 09:35:41 PM
Turkish newspapers have already made many transfers to Beşktaş. Smiley Transfer news of quality names such as Alexander Sörloth, Jackson Muleka, Luka Jovic, Haris Seferovic and Marko Arnautovic for the striker zone is in the press. But this year we will have to tidy up the defense area before the striker, because Vida and Rıdvan left the team, and Serdar may leave soon. We must use the transfer season efficiently, otherwise the league may end before it even starts for us.

Besiktas is really at full speed trying to get the best strikers they can. They already got rejected by Jovic and Yilmaz as far as i have heard. Not going for them at all with signing the striker but still a lot of time to find the right one until end of transfer window
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 22, 2022, 09:33:02 PM
Wimbledon will start next week. I've looked at some stats from the tournaments over the past few weeks, but can't really come to a conclusion as to who the top favorite is. Medvedev wins many matches, but in Rosmalen he was knocked off the track by the then number 200 in the world. He even trailed 5-0 in the 2nd set and it was almost 6-0. Now I think he is already in the semi-finals. Nobody knows what Djokovic is doing it seems, haha.

For me the main favorite is Novak Djokovic and the only one. Medvedev aint playing due to restrictions from Wimbledon even if he was playing i dont think he would have made it even to the semis. Alcaraz didnt even play once on grass this season so his chances are low aswell
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 22, 2022, 06:27:48 PM

ATP jumping in on the pun train. Rune is still considered one of the future tennis superstar who's on the rise at 19 years old. Maybe in a couple of years, he would be a potential Grand slam champ. Already a quarter finalist at French Open.

I watched this guy this year on a few challengers.  I think he can be a good player and plays really good on the field and is smart. For him the problem is his serve and for him to be in the very top of the tennis world he needs to work a lot on it
1869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 18, 2022, 09:56:27 PM
NFT was the talk of 2021. Now if we look at floor prices for all popular collections https://www.coingecko.com/en/nft other than BAYC there is nothing that performs well.
Cryptopunks are down big. Same for azuki, moonbird, coolcats. Collectors are now looking for good fundamentals, but how can NFT give it? Discuss?

This isnt the end at all. The nfts are just starting and this is a set back just for them for the time being. Eth is killing them so far and they need to be a little stable more. With the whole market falling down its normal that the nft prices are falling was aswell. Once market goes up nfts will go up aswell

Sadio Mane has reportedly agreed to join Bayern Munich next season. But for Lewandowski there has been no recent news regarding him whether he is still staying at Bayern Munich or actually leaving. If Lewandowski still survives it looks like it will be a better collaboration than Mane and Lewandowski in attack.

Unfortunately we don't get to see Sadio Mane and Lewandowski play together at Bayern Munich. According to a report by Marca (reputed Spanish media), Lewandowski reiterated his desire to leave Bayern Munich and will join Barcelona for next season.

The unique thing about Lewandowski's desire to leave is that he wants to be useful even in the remaining 1 year of his contract at Bayern Munich, he said that if he sold himself to Barcelona, it would be very good because Bayern Munich would benefit financially.

Even with Lewandowski that wants to leave it is smart that he stays in the club he is doing really big things individually and i think he cannot do it better anywhere else. Mane made a joke on internet that he is leaving thats why there were many speculations with Bayern Munich
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 18, 2022, 09:25:13 PM
Gambling problems have been around as long as mankind has been alive. now everything is going digital, but let's not forget that people used to bet on large scale and that even entire household effects and women were used to win. Sometimes with all that entails. We have to accept that gambling problems are part of society and that it is something that will always exist and people have to learn to deal with that if it hasn't already happened.

Gambling problems are since the time began and will be forever this wont stop no matter what happens even if law prevents it people will always find the way to gamble in life no matter if its money or some other material stuff. The only thing that is important is to play for fun

Beşiktaş brought Romain Saïss today and he signed the deal. That's a very powerful move for defense. Also youngster Emirhan İlkhan signed a new deal. In Winter transfer window Gedson Fernandes was bought and loaned out to Rizespor, now he's back to the team as well.
Wout Weghorst told his decision that he doesn't want to play in Türkiye so this deal fell through. It's his loss though, he could've played comfortable matches and scored many goals with this lineup. Even Batshuayi scored a lot of goals while he's missed more than that. I don't think Weghorst could find many positions as he would be in Beşiktaş if he comes.

Besiktas looks really good for next season and probobly doing the best job so far in this transfer window of all Turkish clubs.
Weghorst wants to play in a much better league then the turkish one and with his history he can play in the top 5 league for sure
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 18, 2022, 08:41:47 PM
I didn't check the order of the games, but it often happens that for example, the favorite wins two games and the competitors draw, so he guarantees himself the first place ahead of schedule and in the last round the coach gives the main team a rest. So if in the last round Costa Rica plays with such an unmotivated Germany, then it may be able to draw or even win.
History tells us that Costa Rica is a team that is very much capable of creating upsets. Remember the 2014 World Cup? They were placed in the toughest possible group, along with England, Italy and Uruguay. Everyone expected them to finish at the bottom without any wins. And then what happened? They won two of their matches, against Uruguay and Italy, and then held England to a goal-less draw. In the end Italy and England finished at the bottom of the group and were eliminated. So it will be risky to underestimate the prospects of Costa Rica.
Yes, Costa Rica won the hearts of many football fans back then... It was the same recently with Iceland in the European Cup... I think that in this World Cup too there will be a team that will be able to surprise everyone... I would like that team to be Serbia, Korea or the USA or Canada...

Costa Rica is a team with enough potential. They cannot be ignored in any way. Renowned teams need to learn from past results. And of course, they have to try to play well against a relatively weak team. The South Korean team is quite strong. My guess is they will be second in Group H's table. Winning against Korea will not be easy for Portugal and Uruguay. Korea's defence is strong, and the forward has talented players like Heung Min Son.

Costa Rica is a good team before world cup. On world cup they are always third or fourth they cannot ever do something big on this tournament. Hopefully they step up in this world cup and do something big for their country and not just be on this world cup
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 18, 2022, 08:17:31 PM
Lautaro Martinez is a very valuable player for Inter right now. I assume that Simone Inzaghi is very contented with his performance so far and he wouldn't like to let him go that easy. Antonio Conte can still be influential about this transfer. Because they had an incredible season together and experienced a wonderful Serie A championship at the end. This can cause him to join Tottenham too. In the end Tottenham are also in the Champions League next season and they are much better thanks to Conte now.

Tottenham this year will look amazing. They are already getting some great players and they arent stopping. Martinez would be a great addition to the attack of Tottenham with Kane and Son they would have the best attack in the league for sure
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Norway (Eliteserien) League thread 2022/23 on: June 18, 2022, 06:57:13 PM
This is the place to discuss matches connected to Norwegian Eliteserien

While we wait for the Premier league, the Italian Serie A, the German Bundesliga, the French Ligue 1 and the rest of them to begin, we could use this League discussion amongst others to keep the bets alive and going.

This is a good thread thanks for coming up for it. I think this league is really intresting and its a good thing that it is played in the summer while we wait for bigger leagues. Also there are a lot of good teams especially Bodo glimt that improved a lot in the past years

^Hopes fading for Osaka, but I already stopped looking at her as an option for a while now, ever since the tears came. Feel bad, but yeah, better she just get back regulated before picking up a racquet again for competition.

^^ Kyrgios yeah. I don't know, I keep getting fooled by people, Tsitsi fooled me most recently, now I have no particular favourite darkhorse. Speaking of... just had a bit on enjoyment on ATP, thought Medvedev had a small scare, when he lost the advantage at 3 games each in first set... but after he got the tiebreaker, the outcome was a given.

Kyrgios and Tsitsipas are for me two players now that need to be avoided in later rounds of tournaments. They just cannot win a tournament for Kyrgios max is semi final and for Tsitsipas max is final. Plus Kyrgios is a hot head so he should be avoided most if the times
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 18, 2022, 06:52:52 PM

Just like them that use mantras, you're free to express your opinion about it. Some will say the same thing as what you've said and it's not going to change.
No one forces anyone to use spells or anything. It's just that they've said that there really are people who uses it for their own comfort and belief and on that part, even you tell them that they don't have to use it. You won't stop them and the same as you that tells everyone that gambling is for entertainment, that also won't stop the professional gamblers to gamble for a living.

Personally, I don't believe in these things because I know that we create our own fate and believing in it won't help increase our chances to win while gambling but that is only natural as from time to time we get to interact or meet some people who believe in these things especially if we gamble often, not because they are guaranteed to win but they have these sort of things to boost their confidence and that is their way to comfort themselves. Some may find it illogical but I find them interesting.

Well i think a lot of people have mantras before in the game and after. I have seen many people pray before and later if they lose they start spitting and getting angry or really board. Most of the people have their rituals when gambling all the time
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 18, 2022, 02:56:55 PM
I have been going through recent pages to see posts that I could react to, but I just noticed that since EPL season ended, this thread has turned to transfer speculation thread Grin It's fine, there's nothing special to discuss.

But someone should tell me that Ronaldo has no intention of living Manchester United. Not at this critical time that Manchester United needs him. The news is trending everywhere and I do not really understand the whole stuffs.

Well its normal that people are talking about the transfer for the upcoming season. There is a lot of speculation how the teams will look next season and this is what everyone is thinking. Ronaldo probobly will stay but we all know that he likes playing in the champions league
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2022, 11:19:16 AM
according to transfermarkt.co.uk there are some new rumors about the players Taiwo Awoniyi, Martin Braithwaite and Chris Richards
and with all three of them english clubs are involved Wink

I think Richards might stay in Bayern Munich he played some games and is young so i him staying in the club. While Braithwaite must leave Barcelona he dosent have quality at all for a team such as Barca. I dont honestly know how he came to the club at the first place

Kyrgios was considered one of the greatest talents in the world a few years ago. He was the one who should make things difficult for Nadal and Djokovic. Little has come of this, due to his mentality on the tennis court. Little appearance, or perhaps too much negative appearance. It just depends on how you look at it. He's not one of the favorites to win Wimbledon, but who knows, he could cause a sensation. In any case, with Kyrgios on the track there is always something to do, that's one thing that's for sure, haha.

When i saw Kyrgios for the first time and i was thinking he was gonna be no1 for sure in the coming years. But with his head he will never be in top 10 and that is a shame when you have a talent that can be one of the best in history. I still think he can win some tournaments but never to do something big
