Fees for transactions arent a loss, you pay for moving your BTC (you're paying for a service offered by the bitcoin network).
Arguably, that has gotten a lot more expensive with bitcoin shooting up by over 700% this year alone in fiat value.
In total, that should still only amount for 0.002 or 0.003BTC, which are $25 combined right now, not $40 or more.

You deposit 0.01BTC you withdraw 0.009BTC, do you not have a 10% loss?
Quote
Meaning you invested into the bankroll without informing yourself about the rules and conditions of your investment?

Yes, I did and I invested previously too.
I'm just saying that's a bit high.

And yes, you do seem defensive, because for example, you're saying I should've read the FAQ as if that has anything to do with anything
I never said I got the fee unexpected, I said it's high.
And you negate the loss of a transaction fee, you assume I'm running a 100 million$ mining farm so I earn my fee back?
A loss is a loss.

1867  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 23, 2017, 10:21:44 PM
I do not think that in current market situation the gambling investment will be a good idea, you can put that money and trading that will give much more solid Returns. I have also invested in a site called bitconnect you can try that too it pays 1% daily and it pays up to 10 months after that you will get your invested amount back. No offence but I see gambling as a game of fun where we put some money just for fun not for earning.

1% a day seems like hyip (gambling) to me.

...

Don't use the wallets default set fee, that fee is usually like 300-400 Sats/byte and its a waste of money.

I agree with you that the wallet default fees are unnecessary high. However, you could also
argue that every mBTC that you pay in transaction fees is contributing to the security
of the network by incentivizing the miners.

I of course concede that people are not paying unnecessary high transaction fees for this reason and
probably are just impatient (to wait for a longer time for their transaction to confirm), are using
wallets with bad standard settings or simply have no idea how transaction fees work with Bitcoin.

This is not true. Have you taken a look at the daily miners revenue? Its a record highs right now. Basically 144 blocks a day at least with 12.5 BTC as block reward equals over $14,400,000 daily.

So whether people use high or low fees shouldn't matter. The high fees is actually hurting the coin in more ways because people simply make less transactions and combine their transactions rather that making transactions everyday.

I know the Bitcoin Cash dilema starts alot of bad publicity for some people but we really need a fast and cheap blockchain. It will either be LTC, ETH or BCASH.

Those would be short-term solutions, I don't think LTC,ETH or BCASH can scale that good.
What about PoS?
I'm not that well informed but DASH seems like something that could work.

I know the Bitcoin Cash dilema starts alot of bad publicity for some people but we really need a fast and cheap blockchain. It will either be LTC, ETH or BCASH.

You have to take into account the time in the future when the block reward will be negligible and we will need a competitive fee market.
Also people are clearly willing to pay high fees in order to make BTC transactions. The mempool is basically a self-regulating queuing system.

I highly doubt that any of the altcoins you mention will gain any real traction whatsoever. Litecoin has been around for 6 years and is mainly
used as a testnet/playground for new technological improvements.

They will pay, but it's an economy thing
If you set 50% taxes and people sell shit, you're not going to say people want to pay taxes
They don't
Things happen, just 50% less things.
Same with transaction fees as costs of purchasing cheap products grows because of high fees people avoid purchasing them.
1868  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Wagering contest! on: November 23, 2017, 10:18:43 PM
Ofcourse they're network fees, but it needs to be mentionted on top of transaction fees there's no reason for a 0.2% divest fee.
Yes there is, the divest fee encourages investors to stay in the bankroll for a longer time and rewards loyal bankroll investors.
It reduces short term bankroll speculation and the swings the bankroll would experience due to them,
allowing the site to offer more stable max bet and profit limits.
You're also ignoring that after 21 days, the fee vanishes and you can divest without being charged any fees for it.

Another possible way to ensure this would be increasing the minimum investment time from 24 hours to a longer timeframe.
Would you rather have the minium time being 21 days, and not being allowed to divest earlier, no matter what?
In that case, the fee wouldn't be needed anymore.

that's a good negative balance
Your initial post makes it sound like between divest fees and transaction fees, all your bitcoin are taken in fees,
while in reality, the divest fees are just 0.3/0.2/0.1%,
meaning you'd get back 0.997BTC out of a 1BTC investment, should you decide to divest it early (ignoring the profit you might have made in your time being invested).

You seem to be acting like I'm attacking Crypto-Games, I'm nearly making a comment.
No, you wouldn't get 0.997BTC back.
You need to pay 1mbtc to deposit the funds, and also some to withdraw.
So there's a 40+$ loss right there.

I'm not talking about Crypto-Games taking the transaction fee, what the hell
I'm talking about the bankroll investment profitability.
I mean, I have 1BTC deposited, and a 0.002BTC loss just to divest my funds isn't okay for me.
I didn't know about the 21 day rule, thanks for that info Tongue
That does make it different, still don't understand your defensive attitude.

You guys should really decrease your divest fee It's 0.002BTC
The divest fee is based on your investment size, not fixed (0.002BTC would equal the fees for an investment of ~1BTC).
On top of that, it decreases over time, and there's no fee for investments older than 21 day.

count in the transaction fee and that's a good negative balance
Transaction fees aren't charged by the site directly, they are network fees.

The second comment seems like you think I'm retarded.
Ofcourse they're network fees, but it needs to be mentionted on top of transaction fees there's no reason for a 0.2% divest fee.
But thanks for the info..

this looks bad to me. no contact no email and david have not replied. and no money. not ok.

Have you checked the spam folder, and if it's the right e-mail you were using?
Since, each time you withdraw to a different address they contact you to make sure it was you who made the withdrawal.

Are you sure about that? That they contact you when you withdraw to a new address? I've done withdrawls to several different addresses without any issue and I've never had to confirm through email or something. Maybe I'm trusted enough, not sure haha.

Dunno, I usually always use the same address, and each time I used a new addy (which was never used before) I got an e-mail where I just needed to write that's me and nothing else.
I like that.
That security feature has been removed i guess, i use different BTC address every time i withdraw and it goes through without needing any confirmation over email.

Maybe it's because you're using a different address each time?
I got it 2 days ago

I think you are missing something. I have sent them email and david said he would reply asap yesterday.

Yeah, I've seen that.
My point was that might have been the reason your withdrawal was pending for a month, that  you got an e-mail to confirm it was you and you didn't confirm it so the withdrawal couldn't have been processed.
1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: OneHash || Dice & Sports Betting || No registration || on: November 23, 2017, 01:54:24 PM
I'm wondering about your "Bitcoin price will reach 10.000 USD to the next OneHash birthday (22.08.2018)" bet

How does that work, since odds change as people bet

People could just bet when bitcoin hits 9900$ and completely change the odds we're seeing now

Anyways, if you could clear this up for me, if I knew the odds would stay the same in a year as when I placed the bet, I'd place that bet.

Placed it anyways

http://prntscr.com/he6yen

 Cool

It is still to determine what will be done. The best would be to close the bet by the end of 2017 such that the odds would remain fair for both sides.

That's true.
I do find the concept a bit flawed, an exchange like a REAL exchange such as bittrex, poloniex etc. would be a good idea, as in you place an order for example 0.01BTC for BTC reaching 10k, someone else takes it, that's it, you have your bet locked in and the person who took it.
