What you can and should learn is a proper risk management to get the losses handeled the proper way. If you can manage your risked amounts well it does not help to increase the chances to win in a game just helps not to lose your full balance before the win hits you (or not hits, can easily happen even with the best risk management)
So if you want to gamble seriously, you should not care about strategies to increase your wins but should be able to slow down loses drainig your account to 0.

Yes risk management is more important in gambling similar to trading. People do not consider gambling as serious as trading in forex or bitcoin or in any commodity. We must learn things first then we can shine in gambling with applying our skills at right time in right places.

Although I agree with you completely, that people blow gambling out of proportion and don't follow the same rules when it comes to investing or something like that.  It is a lot harder to profit from gambling as to say investing(that sort of depends on your skill at investing)
Maybe people just don't belive that they can learn to trade or to invest, and they think that they don't need to learn anything to start to gamble. OK, if you want to play poker or blackjack you need to learn it, but if you want to play slots, it's pure luck. But I think in case of any gambling, you can slow down loss with proper risk management and if you know when to stop. It doesn't help you to win more because that's pure luck but it's the half way to profit if you loose your account balance slower and you let some more time to luck to find you in the meantime Smiley
1863  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 23, 2015, 09:04:32 PM

People always opt for additional process as well as secure money because of their life, as well as I believe paper money isn't that thing in the meantime.
If we look for a most secured money then digital money is the right choice.

Already many people world wide started using digital money instead of paper. So, paper money will find it's own way soon. CMIIW

You mean digital money will find it's own way soon?
Or both digital and paper?
I have read an interesting story about the monetary crisis in Argentina and in that country people started to use (beside the foreign and stable currencies, like USD, etc) they started to use little gold rings from the jewelry store, to pay for food, services, etc. because of the very high inflation of their paper money.
They just measured their weight of the rings and that value was the base of comparasion for long time.
Some people collect gold jewel today as well because they belive in the value of gold if something happens.

you can check ATM withdrawal fees of your transactions in mychoicecorporate.com's log. They are shown separately, in your card's nominated currency
It's OK, thanks.
But, you know I'm a bit lazy about this kind of things and that's why I would like to see it in my XAPO transaction log in the near future. I'm sure there are some more people with this habit. I like XAPO's system, but they should improve this part to avoid misunderstanding.
Most of the people (like me) won't take the effort to check that on another site, and some of them (not me) will be angry/disappointed because of the lack of the information. And because they don't have the necessary information, they will make wrong assumptions and maybe they will start spreading out wrong information (without checking if it's correct or not) about applied exchange rates.
This could generate more work for the customer service and can be wrong for the reputation as well.
If the information is already available somewhere, they just need to import it somehow, I don't know how difficult is it for the IT, but sooner or later it needs to be done, this is my opinion.

Hold on guys, no offence, I wrote that I was only kidding!
I have used the smiley as well, so don't take it serious Smiley
I know that the result of the draw is random and is pure luck to win or not.
I would be the happiest to see if someone wins with 1 or 2 tickets instead of the 1000 tickets, but maths says that chances are better for a player who buys more tickets to win.
So I hope both of us will win sometime in the long run Smiley
1867  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Crypto-Games.net | DICE, BLACKJACK, SLOT, LOTTERY | Jackpot, Ivestments! ★ on: October 22, 2015, 10:46:43 PM
Yes OK
Sorry I just asked before I have searched for the answer. Later on when I have bought a ticket I have realized that there is the "How does it work" part of that site and I know everything now.
Next time I will be less active posting these kind of questions Smiley

Anyway, I saw you Lutpin and I think I saw Adzino as well in the list of lottery tickets
I hope you know if you win the first time by luck, it will be hard to explain Smiley
(Just kidding Smiley it's late night anyway)

Maybe (s)he wanted to say that paper money will be here until the government changes the legit currency back to gold coins

(sorry for my english too, I have also learnt this language, but there is always a need to improve, especially like after some rounds of beer with native english speakers, when they think you are native also Smiley )

Nice prizes Smiley
When will the first draw be held?
Are prizes going up by buying more and more tickets?
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 22, 2015, 09:52:03 PM
Any sites you recommend?
Strategy?

Almost three year I'm earning money by trading main cryptos (mostly on BTC-e and Cryptsy). I think it is not a gambling. My strategy is based on averaging with martingale and strict money management, monthly income is about 5-10%.

How are you using martingale on those sites, aren't those investing sites?  So are you basically saying if you lose a set amount on an investment you either double that investment till you get your original back or what?  Just trying to understand.

Those sites are cryptocurrency exchanges, spot markets (not CFD), you can't lose if you don't sell cheaper than you buy. Now simple example, you bought 1BTC @ 300$, but price goes to 250$, if you sell now, you will lose 50$, but if you buy 1BTC more, you will have 2BTC with price 275$, so you can sell them @ 280$ and have 10$ profit (initial price was 300$). With martingale @ 250$ you can buy 2BTC and will have total 3BTC @ ~267$, so @ 275$ you can sell them and have 25$ profit. You can use martingale with different multiplier depending of averege price you want to get. You should calculate your strategy to have suficient depo for buying at minimum possible price.

Ahh, I didn't even think about that.  Granted if you do that, you can lose big if the market crashes but that isn't a bad idea at all.  That is hoping the price goes up for when you buy though.

You can use this strategy as long as you have enough funds to buy that "another 1 BTC" while prices are still going down. You should do this because you don't know when will the price will go up again.
If you buy not 1 but 2 and 4 and etc. BTC every time you try to dilute your loss, your average can become even better and you need less growth in the price to earn profit in the end. But it needs even more funds to use this method.

I also hope that in the near future you can show separately the amounts of the purchase/withdrawal and the fees.
I use my card mainly for POS purchase not for ATM withdrawal and I have no problem, only sometimes the currency conversation 3% fee Smiley
But because sometimes people are asking about the exchange rate used in your system, I cannot give them proper answer and this can cause misunderstanding.
I don't care about the ATM withdrawal and the other fees that your partners (including VISA) forces you to collect because it applies for all debit and credit card issued by them, I just want to be able to see it transparently.
I know that IT development needs time and costs much but it can prevent you from this kind of problems caused by misunderstanding and by lack of proper information in the future.
1874  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans in BTC on: October 22, 2015, 08:29:23 PM
If you give the loan, it does not depends on the price of the bitcoin. For you it does only matter if you want to exchange it back to fiat, but in this case it doesn't matter if your bitcoin is from the payback of the loan or it was alway's at your wallet.
From the borrower side, it's really a possible risk if the loan and the income is in different currency.

1876  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Have you tried XAPO debit card? on: October 20, 2015, 10:18:16 PM
But people who are earning bitcoin with faucets and signature campaign might fear to use debit cards with a possible ATM withdraw fee of 2.5+3 USD. Still it would be more useful on daily purchases using cards.

You will not find "more useful on daily purchases using cards". ATM Withdrawal (in card's spending currency) fee of 2.5$ is not Xapo fee, it is common fee charged by VISA, and 3% - is a foreign exchange fee, also applied by VISA (not Xapo) only if the purchase/withdrawal is made in a currency that's different from your card's spending currency.
As far as I have experienced, using the XAPO card for purchase at merchant's POS is free as long as your card's currency matches the POS terminal's currency. In this case the only drawback can be the exchange rate that XAPO uses to convert your bitcoins to fiat on the fly. But I'm sure that if you count your time and your comfort, you can choose the card instead of some other exchanges like localbitcoin and other exchanges available to get the necessary fiat for your BTC.
I think XAPO knows this as well this is why they're setting their exchange rates the way they're doing it now.
1877  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 20, 2015, 09:59:55 PM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

I do not like it if they ban paper money.  I use it for just about anything.
They won't ban it. People will stop using it, maybe there will be some shops where you can pay only in cash but nowdays most of the merchants has at least a POS terminal.
Since I have received my first PayPass enabled card, I'm lazy enoug to go only to those shops where I can use it in the contactless way. If I have to use the chip based transaction, I'm feeling like back in 10 years, if they want me to swipe the card and sign the slip, I would run away, screaming Smiley But 10 years before, chip and PIN without signature was the cool thing, now it's ancient.
(Of course, I'm talking generally, only about my country and I know that my parent's generation will use only cash in the future as well)
1878  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Stocks With Bitcoin on: October 20, 2015, 09:45:47 PM
I think you can't buy stocks from regulated markets with bitcoins. With dollars you need to register on a trader or investing bank, how do you do it with bitcoins?
In some countries, you may form a trust or a company. In some other places, the broker may hide your identity, and all your investments will be done under his name. It's getting more and more difficult though, with the ever growing AML and KYC regulations.
Maybe you can manage to find a broker to accept your bitcoin to buy stocks. Maybe you manage to find a good deal and win on the stocks let's say 5% in a longer period of time. Maybe the broker is not charging you any fees for the transaction.
But how you can be sure that for that longer period of time the exchange rate of bitcoin won't change opposite you? If it only rises 5% only you won't win anything as soon as you buy bitcoins again for your money.
Maybe if you want to do daytrade you don't need to count with the BTC exchange rate, I don't know if it's so volatile in a day too

None lol. I play dice and other gambling games just to kill time and enjoy a bit. Never wagered nor deposited any bitcoins into these sites. Instead, I make use of their integrated faucet and make my way to some actual profits. Smiley
Would you please recommend some of these sites? You mean that you played only the bitcoins the site has given to you and you had luck to earn prodit after the bets on the long run?
