1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to pay MasterCard/Visa Credit Card bill globally using bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 10:03:07 PM
^^Title speaks for itself.
First, you should pay it off with fiat. After:
I would reverse the question, why not to use a bitcoin debit card if you have bitcoin and you want to use your bitcoin for spending? (paying card debt off is also spending purpose). Most of the cards are VISA branded so they are accepted worldwide. OK, bitcoin debit cards are not anonymous. But, if you pay off your card debt with bitcoin, tax authorities will surely ask about the origin of the amount you have paid off, so it also doesn't make any difference.
Every service does not accept Debit card. For some, Credit Card is mandatory, e.g. Meetup.com, Moniker.com, BestHostFree.com (though it accepts bitcoin directly) etc...
In this case, there are two options:
1. Convert the neccessary amount of bitcoin on an exchange and send it directly to your CreditCard's account nr. There could be a problem with this at the exchange, because your EUR, USD, etc account has your name, but the credit card account doesn't, it's the bank's account to keep the details of the credit. So it's possible that some exchange won't let you wire money to that account.
2. Convert then send it to your everyday EUR, USD, etc... account. Transfer it to your CreditCard's account, and voila... problem could be that in some EU countries, banks started to monitor if a wire transfer comes from a cryptocurrency related account number and sometimes they send the transaction back without a question. So test it, before you spend large amount from your credit card, and always be safe to be able to pay it back from another fund source. You would never know that your transaction will arrive or not, despite of the formers has arrived without problems, banks are arising on the topic it seems...

A projekt neve The Divi Project, ANN thread itt:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2270938.0

Akkor most gyorsan pakold bele a profilodba meg irj ala nehany uzenetet a biztonsag kedveert Smiley
Orulok, hogy sikerult Smiley
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investing with bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 09:23:26 PM
So if you look at it like trading stocks.. What's the best way to invest and trade bitcoin to make money?

I think it's important to win on the growth of the course. Invest in cloud mining. Many different small things can help to increase their capital.
Are you sure that cloud mining is a really good investment? I'm always wondering if someone has a huge farm of miners (ASICs or similar rigs), why is it a good idea for him to lend it in parts for a fee and pay a sum back as a mining profit? Why don't he just collect the profit for himself? Maybe because it's not as profitable as it's advertised?
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger Nano S among top Electronics accessories on: October 16, 2017, 08:32:57 PM
i also bought and received one. It took a lot of time untill be available at ledgerwallet, more than a month.
Hope to keep my most important digital coins in there in a near future.
Sure, shipping of the Ledger Nano S is a really long time now, 1 month for waiting to get your order processed and some weeks to receive the device physically. (If you choose DPD the second part can be less than a week). I don't know if it makes any difference in connection with the order processing time if you buy from Amazon or directly from the seller's website.

1306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CryptALPHA On Trading Psychology on: October 14, 2017, 06:38:33 PM
I actually had this discussion today with a trader. He said that one of the most common things with trading tips is that they always tell you to when to buy but never when to sell. Having preset exit points is good but keeping to them is something else. Newbie traders often don't make it because of greed. If your existing trade goes green it's always tempting to keep it open for 'just' one more day. I think that that's something that isn't covered enough.
If it went already green, just set a trailing stop and you're fine for that trade. Trailing stop just follows the market growth, and if it turns down, it automatically liquidates your position preserving the accumulated profit. Problem is that Kraken has stopped using these kind of "smart" trade methods. The official reason was that their system was heavily overloaded and they can't offer this kind of service for a while (I hope that they're upgrading their system and it's not final...)
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is officially considered as a payment method by French Government on: October 14, 2017, 06:20:53 PM
They consider it as the first decentralized electronic currency and officially talk about it as a new payment method on their information website .

https://www.economie.gouv.fr/particuliers/moyens-paiement-alternatifs

This is just a good start, but there's no guarantee that they will decide in the favor of bitcoin in the future. It's possible that they (as other countries already started) will also start to develop the digital type of their own  national currency, and in that case they would understandably prefer their own and controlled digital money...
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to store bitcoins during the forks on: October 14, 2017, 08:14:26 AM
Hei, thanks for your responses guys.
After reading all your responses i have finally decided to move my btc on Electrum wallet to maximize the safety. The thing that convinced me was that i might not recieve btc gold. Thank you again to all of you....i might come back after the fork asking how to claim me new coins Tongue
It's OK that you will store your coins in a safe wallet but don't forget that you should'n hurry claiming the new coins, because of lack of the replay protection. If you haven't read about it yet, you should do a quick google about it. The most important thing about that is that you should move your real bitcoins somewhere in a different and secure wallet, before you start to deal (claim) your new coins. This is how you can ensure that if you move the new coins to exchange or to somewhere else, possibly fraudulent users can't move your original bitcoins from your original wallet parallel.
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investing with bitcoin on: October 13, 2017, 09:06:49 PM
Best way to invest? Simply just buy bitcoins right now, then simply hold it and keep it very safe. Go for the long haul. If everything goes right, theoretically bitcoin should just continue to go higher and higher. Sure, there will be dips and drops, but after every drop in price the lowest price point rises as well. So yeah, but BTC, forget about it for years, then comeback and look at the gains.

Yep, accumulation of Bitcoins and putting 'em in a cold wallet or something. A relative safe strategy without the risks involved with trading.

Trading with altcoins can yield a surprisingly large profit in fiat and/or Bitcoin. It is damn tempting to buy prominent alts like Waves and Lisk right now as they've dropped like a rock in the past week due to the BTC-surge, but BTC is currently so agressively on the rise that I wouldn't be surprised if it races towards $10K in a matter of weeks, leaving alts completely in the dust. The alt market is a minefield nowadays.
I'm not a trader. I'm just thinking simple. Now alts are down, because of bitcoin gold fork and because everyone is buying bitcoin. As soon as the fork is done, those who had alts will start to buy back the alts and hold it until November when the next fork comes. So it would be understandable if alts could grow a bit after this huge drop, before the next fork. But I'm not a trader, so everything can happen...
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will bitcoin turn into satoshis? on: October 13, 2017, 08:57:18 PM
I already think in terms of satoshis. Its much easier to see something as being worth 40k satoshis than having to get your ahead around 0.0004 bitcoins everytime you think about it. And i think people are starting to think like this more and more as days go by... Wont take long before it is the main way to talk about btc.
It's no use to talk about satoshies yet, because that portion of bitcoin is way too little (yet).
Today, average amounts are 0,1 to 0,001 bitcoins, so if you relly want to name it somehow, the bitcoin cent would be a good and understandable expressin for an amount of 0,01 BTC that's about $50 these days. It's understandable and acceptable for the masses too, I guess. Using the 'deci' or 'centi' or other scientific expressions would not be clear enough for average joes (like me Smiley ).
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help me confirm Bitcoin transaction, please! Been almost 24 HOURS on: October 13, 2017, 06:07:16 PM
My Bitcoin transaction not confirming! Been almost 24 HOURS. Somebody help me confirm this Bitcoin transaction, please!

https://blockchain.info/tx/a5df525743bc91fddcdfdc29980810354630e9db2bde107e5d55e125d9801962
Just put your transaction ID into VIABTC https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ every hour as long as you have your transaction confirmed. If your transaction gets accepted in VIABTC, you should check your transaction in a few hours time, it should get confirmed sooner or later.
Usually it's possible to accelerate a transaction with a really low fee, so don't worry
1312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: October 12, 2017, 06:35:33 PM
Time to invest? Bitcoin tops the $5,000 mark
In short trading? No its not the best time to buy bitcoin on its peak price or hyped price knowing that the cause of such increase because on the upcoming bitcoin gold event but if you do buy bitcoins for the sake of free bitcoin gold then its still possible but would be somehow risky if you wont able to get out on the high price because I do really have a doubt that the price will surely dip again once bitcoin gold have been accumulated by its users but if we do talk for long term then anytime would be a best buy considering price is still young.
Bitcoin is rising and alts are going down, as most of the people are selling alts to buy bitcoin, such high demand causes the price increase. If the people (were holding alts before) will realize the extra bitcoin gold after the fork, they will start to sell bitcoin to buy back alts, so price will decrease a bit. For long term holders it's not a problem, but if somebody wants to buy the very first bitcoin, maybe this is not the perfect timing...
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Bankers on: October 11, 2017, 09:20:42 PM
In my opinion, bitcoins and banks will coexist.

The popular belief that bitcoin will make banks go away, is flawed. Because if you see, bitcoin is only a currency just like dollars or yen.

Banks use currency to take deposits and lend to other people. Makinng a profit in the provess.

So once bitcoin is legalised in a country, it will be treated as a currency and banks can offer bitcoin accounts where poeple can save and spend their btc using the bank accounts.
You mean that banks will offer people bitcoin accounts, they (banks) will handle the private keys and people will be happy to use those accounts to manage bitcoin transactions? Why would they do this, if thy can do it now on their mobile app? Maybe, to store a large amount of bitcoin they will use banks, but only if bitcoin will be fully legalized in the country. Banks will change but not because of bitcoin, but because of digitalization.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is Laughing on: October 11, 2017, 09:13:34 PM
China is laughing all day for the past few days because the whole world is under its control and influence. The recent news and rumors of new are all testifying to the fact of how powerful can China be in almost aspects of global play...not just in cryptocurrency really.

Why it came to this sad state? Well, China knows how to plan and it has a long-range goals and one thing is for sure Bitcoin and cryptocurrency may not be included in that global domination vision.

Right now, China can show a tantrum and the whole world can shake. Can you feel now the power of China all over your body (hell, am even using a body wash Made in China!)?

its nice to see a thread like this rise again and nice to view the comments
and especially the OP. Within the last 24hours on Bittrex Bitcoin has reached
$4929, so after all the false news, FUD and panic Bitcoin has regrown to past glory.
Most of the people are selling alts and buying Bitcoin because of the coming forks, so the reason behind the price increase could be this as well. FUD and fake news will alway exist and as soon as bitcoin reach the mass adoption, prompt selling for bad news will be less common, and hopefully price will get less volatile as well. This won't be true during the coming fork period.

Én sem töltöttem ki teljesen a dolgot, pl a linkedin profilt meg a "How will you contribute" kérdést ha jól emlékszem lényegében kihagytam.
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to store Bitcoin in exchange websites before the hard fork? on: October 11, 2017, 07:44:10 PM
Bitcoin Gold hard fork is just around the corner, so it is important to know where to keep my Bitcoins in order to receive bitcoin gold. I know offline wallets are obviously a safer choice but will it be just fine if some bitcoin balance is on exchange websites?
It's never a good idea to store large amount of coins on exchange, but sometime you just can't avoid it. Leaving just a little amount of bitcoin on the exchange won't hurt, as long as you can afford the lost (if happens). Sooner or later exchanges will give you the forked coins, it's just the matter of time (XAPO has offered BCH in early October, the fork happened in August...)
1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs is flirting with bitcoin trading on: October 10, 2017, 08:52:32 PM
I'm starting to love this...../sarcasm off

Goldman Sachs is getting praised by tens of people even on bitcointalk.
Probably next is JP Morgan, then Bank of America and then the two FM , and maybe we will all cheer for KimJong  adopting bitcoin.

Then we will applaud banks using bitcoin, then government running nodes , then all the nodes...
Really?
Cheering for the involvement of GS?

Cheer is for the free marketing, done by Goldman Sachs, mentioning bitcoin in a good context (opposite to JP Morgan, who put all the negatives on bitcoin few weeks ago). This is it, nothing special. Nobody want the financial giants to take over bitcoin, they won't, they're about to develop their own system based on ETH (see the EEA, some of the big banks are in). If they let their customers to trade bitcoin, they would legitimize bitcoin with this, and that's good for the wider acceptance, for the mass adoption.
1318  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Magyar (Hungarian) on: October 10, 2017, 08:38:29 PM
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork on: October 09, 2017, 10:07:43 PM
I'm just wondering if the upcoming fork gives bitcoin gold in the case the bitcoins are in a segwit type address and not in a legacy address. I have read a lot about this fork, but found nothing about this specific question. Anyone has any idea, please let me know, thanks!
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore announced three prototypes of payments on the blockroom on: October 09, 2017, 04:23:49 PM
Seems bitcoin is even hastening the transition to cashless.

Yep, which doesn't help Bitcoin. It only means these Countries are increasing their oversight and control over their own currency. None of this improves adoption for Bitcoin until people realize that currency owned by government is part of the problem that Bitcoin solves.

What I'm still hoping is that bitcoin would get a large enough distribution before the governments manage to force their population to use their digital fiat. Coz once they do, we all know what other things will follow.
Bitcoin have to reach the masses before the digital fiat time and bitcoin needs to gain enough trust. If some government issued digital currencies start and get mass adoption, the trust in government and banks (which is not backed by any technical or material things, just 'blind' trust in the financial system itself) will give them real advantage.
