I also missed yesterday's win, and not long ago I was saying that it would be history for back to back bust/win and it just happened. Amazing for those who got both but I am very happy anyway to get the win already. Can we make it 3 in a row?  Cheesy

If you guys remember it was ten days ago,,, the last time we also had Rangers game and that was a bust big time with Malmo,,, which is why they last night played in a different competition  Grin

But now all they got was a very low push, so we are back in the hunt for high points.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2021, 04:32:41 PM
Today is quite a decisive day for the two giant turkish clubs, because both will play in the first leg play-off match, I think both will be seeded in that match, moreover the two opponents they face are relatively easier , Galatasaray will play against Randers at the randers stadium and Fenerbahce will face a team from the Finland league such as HJK Helsinki at the ükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium

I thought Galatasaray was going to have a confident night out but my betbuilder bet of Galatasaray to win by 2+ goals and have over 4.5 corners completely went out of the window.

I mean seriously, I never heard of Randers until Europa League. All these giant clubs are making a fool out of themselves these days. Maybe they played B squad?
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2021, 04:08:24 PM
I didn't really do terribly last season, only missed out from the prizes by a whisker.

Hoody sure does have his Serie A game up to the sky, and anyone from the pool would need just more thank luck to compete over 38 weeks. However, it's game on, huh!  Huh

If you guys could be so kind to share a strategy, BTTS I will accept for now but is it possible to work for 3rd season in a row? I have chiefly my bets on English and UCL but might try out Italian bets now I know there are so many experts here  Grin

Betting strategy I mean not prediction, since we all want to keep our secrets  Shocked

And thanks for the challenge. I enter my picks soon!
1866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 20, 2021, 02:17:01 PM
Today also BTC despite the low price made a new record for market capitalization. This gives me some change of opinion that indeed we could be seeing a further growth until end of year.
Agreed. Different people, different mentalities. Bitcoin is up 15% and everyone says it will reach $100K. Bitcoin drops 10%, everyone says crypto winter is here. Our impatience is preventing us from realizing maximum gains. Almost everyone believes they are going to become millionaires with $500. It doesn't look like that at all. The BTC market requires patience, recently the market capitalization passed $2 Trillion, that's a positive sign.

And as I said yesterday when BTC made a new market cap record, it is again making new records today and I am very sure this carries on well into the Monday for next week. If it can make 7 days in a row like this, the signs for a strong rally back to ATH and beyond cannot be ignored any longer.

Gold is still also making strong progress so it is good for competition;)
1867  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawals limits {0.05 BTC accounts} on: August 20, 2021, 01:05:06 PM
Does anybody know what the max withdrawal is for verified?

This is only an increase in the withdrawal limit for basic users (non-KYC) and is not affected for level 1 users onwards. I think if you are verified, it will be equal to VIP1 user which is 100BTC per day (iirc).

Thanks. As I know there are 3 levels of verification for Binance, the most basic is just verification of contact locations and then the second is matching personal ID with your details while the third is full residence, location and banking verification.

I was the most basic level on a long time ago but never received any notice. I have avoided going to try even log in now until all of this blows away Undecided
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Afghanistan and Taiwan on: August 20, 2021, 12:34:17 PM
Don't hope you can run and escape global economic collapse that is slowly spreading around the world, so US or EU and not really safe havens and could soon turn more into newage concentration camps like in Canada or Australia.
I would say that safest countries are located in Latin and South America, but only outside big cities, and I think that having some Bitcoin and other hard assets is essential for surviving upcoming years.

Really those are the safest? But I have been reading in the last few years, even if you see on social media, many people in South America are sharing how worthless their currencies are and how many are protesting against the police but police brutality is so common there. On one side are drug cartels and crime gangs that force everyone to live under them. On the other side is police who are corrupt and brutal.

I have seen the protests shared on social media and people saying pray for them. Colombia Venezuela Argentina Peru I only say a few of what I remember,,,
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 20, 2021, 10:59:08 AM
Haha really? I did not even realize that,,, my best memory is still Moura and Son ripping them apart in Champions League. I still feel painful memories from the final after that that we lost meekly but the semi was so worth it. Nuno is a good tactician but more importantly is how he will manage a squad who is for sure not in the best of morale.

What I said was not true. Kane did played in most of the last H2H against City guess I relayed a false info. (*My bad*) Anyway regarding Nuno I think he is a great manager, somehow I find him similar to Pochetinno who doesn't have much recognition but have played a great part into building teams wherever they managed. I think he will manage Spurs quite well .. atleast better than Mourinho.

Haha no worries as I said plenty of times even watching Spurs for years I honestly cannot remember much in between the best games and memories (and the worse) but in my mind Kane is always missing for about 25% of every season, while lately Son is almost playing every game,,, and with his contract extended for 5 more years I believe he will surely retire at our team.

Nuno better than Mourinho I can agree as team management. Results is something else though:)
1870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jumps after report suggests BlackRock is getting serious about the crypt on: August 20, 2021, 10:26:50 AM
BlackRock, Inc. has acquired shares in the mining firms Marathon Digital Holdings and Riot Blockchain.
According to Form 13F dated June 30, 2021, BlackRock acquired a 6.71% stake in Marathon Digital Holdings for about $207 million and 6.61% of Riot Blockchain for about ~$175 million. The total value of its positions was $382.96 million. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/0001364742/000108636421000071/xslForm13F_X01/form13fInfoTable.xml

So it happened already then all the way back in June. Marathon digital,,, those were the guys that initially wanted to censor some Bitcoin transactions right? Now I think I know why that transpired,,, they just wanted to make it look like they were careful and only wanted "clean" Bitcoin dealings, so now we know that was because of this Smiley
1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Kali Van Kush on Hive.io [HIVE] on: August 20, 2021, 10:03:42 AM
I look forward to that and might keep an eye to return to read them,,, I have to say your writing and even activity is a bit,,, how will people say? Alternative?Smiley But interesting for sure and useful to read in this blockchain space instead of pseudo economics all the time all over token projects:)

Yes, very real. That is what I intended to convey with the word Grounding, but it is also just a fact, like you said these Currencies out there in DeFi are just make believe right now, the Grounding is not just necessary it's currently lacking, and currently is a good word too because the Grounding is about an Economic Current like Water, and this Current Current is just off.

We are replacing the Silk Road.

Yes, and it is such a shame that people are more interested in make believe coins, with no real knowledge and learning, no VALUE to anything and in fact recycling and making money out of thin air from each other (hence the wrapping of real coins into fake ones, and creating farming pools for even more fake things).

Always looking with interest. Cheesy

1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: August 20, 2021, 08:45:10 AM
~snip~

Halving has its effect, I personally don't think we've seen the best of it yet - and everything that started happening last year at this time is actually the result of the price we have today. I am thinking of the rather large investments from companies such as MicroStrategy, Grayscale, Tesla, and PayPal's entry into the crypto market.

Consequently, we can assume that there will be no replay from the end of 2017, and that the price could continue to rise because there is more than obvious demand - how else to explain that the market started to recover at the same time as last year? Less mined coins on market, rising demand and a price that is at the moment more than a good base for a new ATH - I hope we have a very exciting 4 months ahead of us Smiley

Yes,,, and I have also been more and more convinced lately that this cycle will be the first one that is not going to be very very similar with the past halvings. So no longer extremely short and high rally,,, and more of a patient and slow build up to a high. If this is true then it should be good news for buyers because this means the corrections and dips are also not going to be as shocking as before.

As you say it could be the last ATH was not even the halving effect but all those big buys from companies. Let us hope the excitement is for us less scary than 2017!
1874  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Lending Platform Partners With Construction Company on: August 20, 2021, 08:04:04 AM
Ya, one risky industry partnering with another risky industry? I actually really wonder how lending platforms keep popping up time after time when it is clear that during bubble bursts most lending models fail when all the borrowers default. Crypto especially seems even worse off because people borrow money based on the price of crypto and during crashes well,,, lenders lose.
1875  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: August 20, 2021, 06:54:37 AM
Awesome guys Steve and friends! I got the freebet already, saw it being discussed on chat actually so went there rightaway. Unfortunately,,, I got so excited I put it on the first BB match I could see which was Galatasaray, need them to win but they drew so bye bye.

I would have put it on my own team Spurs but no Betbuilder option,,, and if so I would have lost anyway Tongue . My idea: every day we can have one Betbuilder option for a game of our choice, for games with no option.

You guys are the best.💝
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2021, 06:13:10 AM
Well. I cannot say I did not expect it. No Kane no Son and I have to admit even as a Spurs fan I did not recognize all the names out on the lineup yesterday. Paco's most famous win in a long time I guess and Spurs most humiliating in a long time.

But I guess this is the beauty of conference league;)

Lincoln Red Imps are from Gibraltar and playing Riga this afternoon

Thank you:) They have such a cool name I thought it was British team.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 19, 2021, 05:03:55 PM
Like I said, before anyone thinks of overthrowing anyone, they should get their basic fundamentals right first. ETH is a smart contract platform and it has already been through version 1 and now going to 2.0.

ADA/Cardano is still not even version 1.0 yet. This price thing is pure speculation.
That's right, I can say it's impossible for Cardano to overthrow Ethereum with the current development Cardano lags very far behind Ethereum and also the trust of users who are currently still in favor of Ethereum. maybe if that happens it won't be in the near future, it will take a very long time for that to happen.

It is not just development too,,, if you look at the communities for Cardano and Ethereum you cannot find more differences. This thread alone is one big example. ADA people are all buyers and not users, most likely not even in their own wallets unless for staking, but hodling all on exchanges. So users are a real problem for ADA.
1878  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 19, 2021, 03:49:26 PM
At first I was Bullish but am now turning bearish this year. The market had such a good run with the Trump administration.
Also, the corona virus lockdowns attracted many new retail traders to jump into the market and many stocks are significantly overvalued.
I suspect the market will have a correction in the coming year.

Oh no,,, really? I am on the other side actually. After 63k was hit and then we went so badly down even below $30k I though this was the end of the rally but then we are making slow and steady gains.

Today also BTC despite the low price made a new record for market capitalization. This gives me some change of opinion that indeed we could be seeing a further growth until end of year.
1879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawals limits {0.05 BTC accounts} on: August 19, 2021, 03:04:12 PM

Does anybody know what the max withdrawal is for verified?
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Afghanistan and Taiwan on: August 19, 2021, 12:01:55 PM
Given the events in Afghanistan over the last week, it is a great example of where bitcoin could have been of great use to the people of the country.  The currency, the Afghani, fell to record lows.  Anyone who owned bitcoin was protected and could escape the country with their assets, not worrying about capital controls or confiscation at the border.

Not a good idea though. If people see the Taliban use it (and let's face it, that's inevitable if the common people start using it) it will give bitcoin a bad name that we can't really recover from as long as it's used there.

If I am not mistaken, al Qaeda, Taliban and Isis all already started using Bitcoin. They make international trade already and because US dollars and bank routes are difficult to make, crypto was the way for some of them.

So maybe you are right,,, using it might make US and others think YOU are part of the Taliban.
