1381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized Exchanges Vs Centralized Exchanges on: October 20, 2021, 10:59:06 AM
Unlike centralized exchanges where you will have to do KYC and go through all those stress and still face some restrictions, because they are controlled by the government. But decentralized exchanges are usually not that easy for newbies to grab, it is not as easy as Centralized exchanges, it is going to take them time to understand.

Not necessarily,,, until only recently you could still go without KYC on some CEXs like Binance and Bittrex. These are not controlled by the government either,,, but by private companies.

Some "DEXs" are also much easier to use. I remember Waves DEX from before, you could use it in blink of an eye,,, unlike Binance even now can be so hard to use with 100s of options.

1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone please help understand how the Binance Smart Chain works for fees? on: October 20, 2021, 10:00:04 AM
Pooya87 points about security and decentralization are the most important on a fundamental level,,, which sadly is never what altcoins tell newbies. Altcoins and defi especially are the worse offenders as they tell people only about the yields and ease of use and potential etc,,, but never about the flaws.

BSC is full of scams and ponzis now,,, people who want to take your money. Even connecting to a dapp with your wallet can be dangerous.

And secondly,,, also pointed out, is how useful is your crypto really? Can you sell your BNB/BEP coins anywhere other than a few exchanges? Can you do it P2P easy for fiat?

Bitcoin you can, and usually only BTC.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: October 20, 2021, 09:23:38 AM
Finished watching some of the highlight footage, very sad that Dortmund couldn't score, and that game ended low points for Blackjack too, great that we pushed both picks yesterday. And judging from statistics,,, seems tonight must have a winner?

For now pick 1 is active and this is a must-win game for Barcelona so we hope to see many goals!

1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k price recovery achieved on: October 20, 2021, 08:51:58 AM
What we need now is breaking over ATH, it has historically been a very difficult thing, the moment you get close to it, it becomes a very difficult and hard thing but at the end of the day we do reach those levels and I hope that we reach those levels as well. What we are going to face now is that we should not be doing something stupid like selling as soon as we see a little drop, there will be some push back from the ATH levels and it will drop, but as long as we keep trying and buying constantly then we are going to end up with something profitable and good eventually. This is why I believe that as long as people are bullish and keep on buying then we will reach 70k+ levels for sure.

I do not really remember last year exactly but it felt like once $20k was broken it seemed relatively easy for price to just keep going up. I think the same is happening right now to be honest. We did not fall back from $60k,,, in fact just slowly adding more and more. A few hundred dollars away from 2021 ATH right now I hardly doubt we will fall back from the past week's patterns Smiley
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best yield farming platform on: October 20, 2021, 08:05:10 AM
Uniswap and Pancakeswap. People are still trying to find others and imagine that it will be something that would be normal for them, but the reality is that these two are still by far the best ones and they will keep being the best ones for a long time. This doesn't mean that the ones that you guys listed are bad, they are very good places as well, but we are talking about "best" one and if we are talking about best one then Uniswap is clearly the best one, all the others are a lot lesser in the level.

This means that they are still good, all the other ones that you like could be great, they could be very loved and good and we should use them and there is nothing wrong with loving them, but "best" is uniswap for sure, and second is pancakeswap.

I do not love defi I still think it is a lot of nonsense but I have to agree that you cannot get any better DEX than Uniswap for Ethereum and Pancakeswap for BSC.

I have to recommend using aggregator like Plasma.Finance and/or 1inch though,,, these guys are connected to Polygon and BSC also so you actually can use Pancakeswap and Uniswap on them, for cheaper without needing to connect to both separately.
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: October 20, 2021, 07:02:08 AM
You should not worry that much if you give your advice. It's up to the investor if they will follow you or not.

If they prefer to invest with Doge, which is really risky but profitable if they managed to buy in the right time.

Yes and to be honest having a disclaimer or not really does not prevent anyone from following you,,, but I would always advice having a disclaimer,,, or rather, advice not to give any advice at all and just pay attention to yourself and what you do.

I personally feel if you have to tell someone to do something, you should always be doing it with their interest and yours in mind.

Dogecoin should first be made clear to anyone new, that it is a memecoin.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Futures ETF in The US Starts Trading on: October 20, 2021, 06:26:00 AM
Do you guys believe this is a good thing or bad thing for bitcoins future?

I doubt it'll be that black and white.

It just boils down to more speculators on the sidelines placing bets.  They're playing with derivatives and derivatives are very much not Bitcoin.  Perhaps it will mean attempts at price manipulation, or perhaps that won't happen.  But either way, the most important takeaway from this is that it doesn't have any impact on Bitcoin's function, purpose or utility.

Yes,,, nothing is a guarantee of anything and in Bitcoin market especially, nothing seems to work as expected. Remember 2017, when all the supposed good news did nothing to price, while all the supposed bad news in late half of 2017 pushed price to ATH.

So far positive news made us come close to current ATH but even with this confirmation nothing seems to push price higher. Wait for the effect now!
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 20, 2021, 06:09:20 AM
Napoli is a great team, with a great coach. From the start of the season,I knew they were up to something this time around after winning there straight three matches, and ever since then, they've all developed a winning mentality which will make it difficult for other teams to beat them, the best those teams could have is a draw.
Napoli is really impressing everybody this time around showing that they have quality in the team, and we won't be surprise if they continue like this till the end of the season, but I doubt if other teams will allow that happen.

Hopefully they can make it up to their fans after failing to move on their promising squad a few seasons ago. Personally very happy to see teams like them shake up the style of football in Italy,,, which is also now beginning to show in their international football style. Nobody these days wants to see anymore old school defending with one offside striker Smiley

Let us wait and see them beat a few top teams first and talk again in January however!
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 20, 2021, 04:59:26 AM
Maybe it will be the most boring match tonight. Because the two teams here are strong and no one is interested in losing points. So both teams can play defensively. We have seen that in the Champions League before. We hope the matches of the strong teams will be very competitive, but these matches are not enjoyable. Still, I would expect aggressive gameplay from Liverpool today. Their team is in a very good position now.

Guess it was not the most boring match indeed. From the report alone it said it was an epic encounter. From the red cards the penalties and the VAR issues and everything,,, wow, I have to watch this game again.

As it has now been recorded in Champions League we have 2W 2D 1L for Atletico. Amazing to see,,, cannot wait to watch!
1392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: October 19, 2021, 04:57:35 PM
In my opinion, the condition of the Golden Cross gives a signal that the price of bitcoin is in a strengthening trend so it has the potential to rise and this has started a few weeks ago. If the bitcoin price is in this condition, you can make a purchase. The bitcoin price increase will continue and the next resistance target is $65k.

But did we not also see several golden crosses already this year, last year and even in 2019? I have a feeling this indicator is no longer as useful as it used to be or at least maybe no longer sufficient to really look into Bitcoin.

Stock to flow works best because it is exactly what the Bitcoin market reflects. Supply available, supply coming and demand.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Let's pay attention to BNB? on: October 19, 2021, 04:24:02 PM
I think BNB will achieved its first target $500 end of OCT and next $600 end of this year.
I believe the positive transition to BNB value prior to bitcoin's major rally was partly rooted in the announcement of $1 billion to fuel the growth of the BSC ecosystem.  As CZ has been public about the effectiveness of this allows defi to continue its momentum towards its goal of 1 billion users.  I very much hope this will pull BNB out of its inherent “restriction”.
The Q4 token burn mechanism is also an incentive for BNB to have a new ATH this year.

As I was commenting in an earlier post,,, as long as BSC continues development and keeps making sure it gives what people want, then yes, it can grow, but it will never reach the security or dev superiority of ETH. This is a longterm problem but can be solved if it works smart and moves away from marketing and into serious development.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: October 19, 2021, 04:07:09 PM
I think if the chosen altcoin is Ethereum or BNB then it makes sense to be a long-term investment, just look at the price of ETH now compared to 4 or 5 years ago, the price of ETH soared.
Yes, I agree that short-term altcoins are indeed more profitable, but not all altcoins are risky if invested long-term, depending on how big the development of an altcoin project is.

It is not just about dumb buys too though. Ethereum continued developing even after the 2017 crash,,, even after all the ICO scandals and all the gas wars.

BNB will do the same I think but hard to tell if people will keep on coming and using if others come up that are even cheaper and faster (which is the only selling point for BSC).
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 19, 2021, 12:07:30 PM
I looked at the statistics of the last 4 matches against Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. Atletico Madrid has scored 7 goals in 4 matches and Liverpool have scored 6. However, Atletico Madrid has won 3 of 4 matches. Liverpool last won against Atletico in 2009. However, this season Liverpool is a very tidy team from the beginning. They have been performing consistently since the start of the season. I would say Liverpool's performance is more stable than Atletico Madrid's. Both teams have the ability to win.

Atletico gambles when they play like they do. And all 3 wins came from good gambling,,, which is defending deep and hoping to frustrate Liverpool while encouraging them to go more and more up the pitch. This makes it easy for them to counterattack.

Surely they cannot try to do the same thing again this time,,, it would be the most boring match in this night instead of being MOTD Smiley
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 19, 2021, 11:45:08 AM
After very bad performances from Arsenal this season I am surprised that only 2 people in our pool went for draw and only 1 person went for a win. That was a huge upset in the works coming until of course Lacazette scored the equalizer with second last kick of the game. So the game week ends and the table moved very little. I climbed a few spots but still so far away but at least now 4 spots from the exact middle Smiley Bear in mind,,, a few people seem to stop playing so the "real" middle is actually 22.

It looks I was the only one to believe in an Arsenal win yesterday night.I thought lately they have played well but yesterday they could not just keep up with the game.A draw was the ideal result based on the game, anyway I hope I forget this week very soon as it was a real nightmare for me going from second to ninth or tenth don't know.

No, a lot of people took the win if you check the results, only 3 or 4 people chose a draw or Crystal Palace win!

Most reports say Palace deserved to win actually but the quality of strikers in Aubameyeng and Lacazette was the key difference. Only I am not sure why Laca was not played earlier,,, is he not fit?
1397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 19, 2021, 10:37:16 AM
Venezia has won this match and it was very important victory as it helped to leave the relegation zone. now Venezia has 8 points and stands at 15th place (2 points away from relegation zone).

Another upset on a big night for a lot of people but this one was very expensive for Fiorentina not just because they lost, but also because they allowed so many cards including a dismissal. New guy Romero in goal kept the clean sheet good for him. And credit the first half all belonged to Venezia even if they got 0 corners.

Again it shows the unpredictability of relegation teams and so hard to see still at this stage which ones are going to go down to Serie B.
1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 19, 2021, 10:04:49 AM
Now we have 2 inconsistent clubs (big) in the premier league; Arsenal and MU. I still blame the coach of both. I've to dream exchange a coach places (Arteta to MU and Ole to Arsenal) because Arteta playing the winger which is suitable for MU when Ole plays on center which is suitable for Arsenal. If there were no goals in injury time, that very embarrassing clubs at home.

Chelsea as Top current standings, the 2nd place followed Liverpool which never has lost yet.

Do not forget to add my own Spurs into there. Remember we won 3 games 1-0 with such consistency, and then lost the following 3 games letting in 3 goals each, what a point for half-half consistency right?Smiley

Then we look better now and the results of Arsenal make us breathe easier,,, but I also feel our coach is to blame. However unlike Ole and Arteta, he needs time.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest issue with Bitcoin wallets? on: October 19, 2021, 08:45:07 AM
1. What are the features that you feel that are sorely missing?
Good GUI,,, I know this is not important to many people but we had good GUI software since 2000 for some applications why not Bitcoin wallets?

2. What are your biggest issues with specific wallets you're using, or with BTC/cryptocurrency wallets as a whole?
No easy way to tell you how long your transaction takes,,, Good wallets give you recommended price, but no wallet tells you with high accuracy how many minutes. They say blocks, or you must go make your own calculations.

3. What's your favourite wallet and why? Is it the user interface / user experience, colours, specific functionality, habit, perceived trustworthiness, something else?
Electrum but this is more of trust and habit Smiley I did love to use Coinomi wallet in the past

4. What changes would you like to see with the wallet(s) that you're using?
Good graphic interface so when I introduce to people they do not think it is a Windows 95 old school thing.

Have to agree with most people. Messi and Ronaldo are great, but they have waned over the last season, and each has not proven yet at his new club that he is indispendable,,, whereas for Benzema and Lewandowski both proved they are needed both at club and country.

My vote is for Benzema but Lewie fully deserves it.
