1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on a recovery mode on: October 13, 2021, 03:06:05 PM
@Wawa2013 I can't recommend taking profit now for others but only advise them because every investor/holder have their own plan just how you plan to hold some of your BTC for long term and the last time it not yet the time for the bullish trend to end. However, people need to do their own research and also make their own decisions cause the market can be unpredictable sometime.

The market can be unpredictable "sometimes"? Smiley It can be and will be unpredictable all of the time. In fact that is the one major and most obvious trait of crypto markets,,, which makes it so attractive for newbies and even for us. If people laugh to predict stocks/shares can go 10x in a year, that is a perfectly natural phenomenon in cryptolandia.

DYOR,,, if only newbies and veterans really did that Wink

Plus he is a lot more powerful than many of the Arsenal players (except maybe Saka) because I feel always like for many years they have such weak players. Fast and skilful but fall to the grown so easily. I did not realize you were a Gunner but I am sure you cannot blame him for leaving as he also was not featuring a lot when he played there right? As you say his injuries always made him miss out.
The reason for wanting to become a champion is a classic reason most Arsenal players go to other clubs, and of course this is very natural for a professional player, besides wanting to get a big salary, of course, trophies and playing hours are important things for them, now chamberlain has entered 28 years old and of course he wants a prestigious trophy to prove his career so far and in the end he got the trophy with Liverpool in 2019.

IT is the classic reason any player leaves his beloved club to go elsewhere. Just I remind myself of Gareth Bale and Harry Kane. Great players for my club and we love them but if they want to go to win (especially champions league) then what can we say but wish them well?

I think the salary is second place for most players,,, although some are known to only care about this and not the potential trophies that can come.

Alex got 2 of the most coveted trophies you can ask for in England and he contributed so he will feel no shame in moving on for more playing time.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: October 13, 2021, 01:04:03 PM
fees from ethereum are quite expensive at this time. because of that, I refuse to make transactions that are not so big when exchanging ethereum platform coins on DEX. I've also spent more than $30 just for fees.
it's just, I use it when I need it. Currently I prefer to use BSC, or Matic, coins instead of ethereum because of this fee problem.

Old story and nothing new,,, it is at least a lot more predictable this time around compared to before the London hard fork. We all know ETH 2.0 fixes this with much more tps than current implementation, so we just need to be patient for that.

$30 for fees is the max I would pay too,,, but $100 was common not too long ago Smiley

Matic/BSC etc,,, fast and cheap but unproven security. Just saying.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB be worth $1,000? on: October 13, 2021, 11:52:50 AM
The all time high price for BNB is $690. Even this proves that BNB is capable of doing much more than this. For now, it can't do much by itself and it seems completely dependent on the changes in Bitcoin price. But BNB's time will also come like Ethereum's has come. Binance is the biggest exchange in the market and I believe in it to do its best for BNB to develop more in time.

I almost totally forgot how high BNB went,,, and now that BTC is again approaching the ATH, I guess alts like ETH and even challenger ones like BNB are struggling even to come near. For ETH maybe it is not as bad but BNB to be still at around 50% of ATH proves that the rally was overheated by hype demand.

If BNB's thousand dollar time will come it will probably be in the next cycle?
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: October 13, 2021, 11:20:14 AM
Looks like all I need to do is follow you both in this type of betting and I guess multibets is the only way to make big cash here,,, unless you are confident to be betting singles with large amounts. What are you guys picks for the coming weekend fights?

You know I Google the coming fights and it is interesting to see the stats, almost not a single player has a LOSS in their stats, how is this possible? Are there so many fighters that only the best who never lose meet in the main events? How does this whole thing work? Is there a format to decide who goes up to fight?
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 13, 2021, 10:00:20 AM
There is no doubt that the current owner of the club can change the team quickly but return to the problem of financial fair play but even so the first step that must be done at least is to recruit a great coach because according to rumors, Newcastle are targeting to get Antonio Conte as their new coach. I think it's easy to achieve just to stay in the EPL and get out of the relegation zone with the players that are there, because the most important thing for Newcastle is to have a great coach. We can see how Thomas Tuchel made big changes for Chelsea upon his arrival well with that case, at least having a great coach was enough for Newcastle out of the relegation zone and stay in the EPL.

Staying up in EPL is never as easy as it seems. If you spend long enough without European action,,, then you attract less and less players and then you become a mid table club that only attracts either young players on loan looking for playing time or older veterans who only stay a few seasons.

Money is a dangerous thing and Leeds found that out the hard way. If FFP works for Newcastle then they will challenge for Europe for sure but very few clubs can do it without breaking the bank long term. This is Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal at the moment and see how much they struggle to always remain top.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with whales? on: October 13, 2021, 09:20:46 AM
I think the only way to deal with Whales is HODL. Hold on for dear life.

You cannot deal with whales,,, that is the reason you and me are both here on this forum, talking about whales. Whales have no time to even be here, to even talk on social media, they are doing BTC on the side or have others working for them. We cannot even imagine life as a whale.

But on the plus side,,, we are the real users and the whales need us to keep the network active and strong.

So do not just HODL. USE  Cool
1448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela Airport accepting Bitcoin on: October 13, 2021, 09:00:19 AM
And what a bad operation it was with not even a public working blockchain Smiley

First El Salvador and now (if true) Venezuela (this is big) are changing to world for good. Who would knew that these countries would lead the world crypto adoption while the westerner countries stay skeptical about it. Interesting times indeed. I think the west has a lot to learn from these two countries. I believe the rest of the world don't do them justice.

I agree in principle,,, but as I said earlier, Venezuela does not have a good reputation with crypto already. They did the first state controlled crypto and it was such a bad implementation,,, not public, not even transparent and totally reflective of all the corruption the president and his cronies were known for.

Of course, if they return to BTC it is proof alts cannot really provide a good use case but let us see how this develops.

^^ Why not just go to the website and go see what they have? It is all quite explanatory I even can answer your questions by looking Smiley

1> Yes they only make NFTs but this type of P2E is nice because it also seems to get crowd-inspired art. Problem with this is all the artwork would look different from each other, hard to build identity in this way right OP?

The private beta for the game is coming this December. This is a long road. But please stay tuned thanks!

I understand that,,, and projects who recognize this but also keep building at the same time I can appreciate. It is those who say "a long road ahead" and yet only want to raise money without ever actually spending majority of time in development, that we should all be careful about.

Enjoy the rally and NFT craze,,, make sure to build something that lasts during winter that is coming  Wink
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 13, 2021, 07:21:32 AM
He improved in Liverpool and will go on to become great, but yes, only if he gets more playing time,,, I guess he never made the quality cut at Liverpool.

chamberlain is a good player and has speed in dribbling the ball, but even so chamberlain decision to leave arsenal in 2017 and then certainly left a deep wound for arsenal fans, as an arsenal fan to be honest I don't want the club to buy chamberlain again and it's better for the club to look for Another midfielder in January, besides that Chamberlain has a history of severe injuries during his time at Arsenal and Liverpool.

1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: October 13, 2021, 07:04:27 AM
Sad busts for both picks. But again! And now Brazil game, for sure lots of points right? Smiley

Soccer Blackjack #216 13 October 2021: Atletico Mineiro MG vs Santos FC SP
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/atletico-mineiro-mg-santos-fc-sp-61659e3608ca1d057a882e38

Sad fact for us Croats. We scored the goal for 3:2 Var disallowed it for offside. Slovenia scored a goal for 2:2, same thing happened. Now we have to win against Russia to qualify and we could have already been in, with just a bit of luck.

I remember VAR was very good in the last World Cup which was where they implemented but it seems now it is beginning to be a bit annoying, like with France goal that VAR reviewed and still allowed,,, very perplexing for VAR haters like me.

Everything to fight for spells for a Blackjack potential!

This ended up one of the lowest bust I ever saw, only 1 goal, 1 corner,,, I probably have never seen such a statistic in my life!
1452  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance's 'Un-Ethical' changes. on: October 13, 2021, 05:52:51 AM
Binance was also very good yes because of high limit and no KYC. But you know they have no choice now,,, Europe push them out because of that policy and now they have to comply or lose business. It is not about being masterful anymore but about survival.

They're actually requiring mandatory KYC now. Emails have already been rolling out that accounts will be set to withdraw-only to those users who haven't submitted KYC information on the 15th.

Yes,,, I was explaining how it was in the past but mandatory is the only way for them to survive now. Binance knows it is losing customers like this,,, but they also know if they want to gain more customers and operate properly in Europe again they have to do this.

What always made me curious is why they left Africa when KYC there is not mandatory.

That is actually a bit weird coming out from Venezuela where we all know since many years the country is corrupt and actually this was the source of the world's first crypto run by a state. And where even exchanges needed license that you could only get if you were friends with the state's government.

And what a bad operation it was with not even a public working blockchain Smiley
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 12, 2021, 02:50:34 PM
Yesterday, as I predicted, Slovakia surprised Croatia with a draw! Cheesy Once again I am convinced that when bookmakers heavily inflate the odds in non-obvious matches, they are misleading people!

I think today's match of the day is Denmark v Austria... Austria, although they haven't been playing very well lately, but I think they will be able to score at least one goal here...

I just saw the odds for this is also quite bad for Austria even though they actually played quite well in EURO. Denmark is expected to win though and they went really far in EURO despite the shock collapse of their star player, which in the end pulled the whole team together. I miss him a lot for Spurs, and hope he does really well in Italy and again for Denmark when all is good with him again.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 12, 2021, 02:14:16 PM
I have heard that Arsenal are thinking of making a move for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. He played for Arsenal for 6 years. Now, maybe it is time for him to go back there. I think that Oxlade-Chamberlain has never been one of the top midfielders. There were very few times I saw him playing great. He is 28 years old now. And I don't know whether he can improve his game much bigger than now at Arsenal.

Really? Well good for them and for him. Arsenal are my enemies but only on the pitch. I really liked Alex and hoped he would also play for us one day but I guess a Gunner never becomes a Spurs player.

He improved in Liverpool and will go on to become great, but yes, only if he gets more playing time,,, I guess he never made the quality cut at Liverpool.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk? on: October 12, 2021, 12:50:16 PM
Try to look at Dogecoin at a time when it was not yet known to Elon Musk, did Dogecoin experience something that made him die ? because I have never encountered any problems with Dogecoin since it was born into cryptocurrency in 2013, but why do some people only see Dogecoin through Elon Musk ?, even though Dogecoin has been in cryptocurrency for a very long time

You cannot blame them. The same that a lot of people only knew Bitcoin through some influencer,,, like McAfee a lot of people admitted they bought it first because of him. Some even I remember got into crypto because of Silk Road.

Doge is a memecoin so in a way,,, it is appropriate for memes and funny stuff to bring it into people's awareness.

I guess it does not matter and should not!
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that NFT is the best investment in the future? on: October 12, 2021, 12:18:12 PM
I know many people do not want to listen to this because they are heavily invested in NFTs but I think it is the only logical scenario that may come to happen, after all do the people believe that this level of hype can be maintained for years and that people are going to invest in collectibles they cannot even touch with their hands?

It is the same with ICO days in the past. People bought stuff up thinking it would be big in the future and if you came in and talked sense,,, they all ganged up on you and kicked you out for "FUDding",,, people in NFTs are majority speculators not actual collectors and not actual artists.

Real collectors are very different minded people. The industry knows this but pretends not to understand it, selling something else to the buyers.

1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome to Uptoberfest on: October 12, 2021, 10:50:41 AM
The most important date is Oct 18 which is the first ETF decision, if it is delayed or rejected there is another one that has a great chance of approval a few days later. Most likely if the first 2 ETFs are rejected then we might see a sell off before November starts. Which is a tricky way of trading since November’s are usually very bullish.

However right now they way the market is trading it seems that ETF has a great chance of being approved and then when it finally goes live in a month or so, that might be the “buy the rumor and sell the news” type of event just like when CME launched Bitcoin futures back in late 2017.

I did not realize ETFs were again coming into the picture, but is there any reason to believe they will be approved when all others always got rejected many times before final approval? And more important,,, is there any reason to believe rejection will result in sell off? Is ETF not a chance to buy more? Why would people sell off when they cannot buy more? Smiley
