1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2021, 11:00:42 AM
So, last qualifying round for Conference league and plenty of games today. Some my bets for today's games.
###
It will be interesting to follow Mourinho debut in Roma, Spurs game also shouldf be interesting. And I only now realized that there is team from Gibraltar in final round of qualification - impressive achievemnt for them.

I like your picks, instead of picking a winner, go for over unders. I think better unders than overs though,,, these games are going to be very tight and even we saw only in the higher quality leagues we can see goalscorers.

Kane is not playing confirmed already,,, but should still win also but the away odds 1.6x reflects the low confidence of bookies. Which team is from Gibraltar?
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 19, 2021, 10:29:57 AM
This is the fourth away defeat to Spurs

And I think somewhere I read along was that out of 4 only once was in which Kane played. Very interesting selection from Nuno that day and that paid off. He would be very proud of how his team played. Honestly they could have scored lot more if capitalised on attacks well. There were lot of counters which didn't paid off for them.

Villa has lot of new players and I think it will take a time to adjust. Grealish will be obviously missed but I think Grealish sale has provided them a good money to build their squad.

Haha really? I did not even realize that,,, my best memory is still Moura and Son ripping them apart in Champions League. I still feel painful memories from the final after that that we lost meekly but the semi was so worth it. Nuno is a good tactician but more importantly is how he will manage a squad who is for sure not in the best of morale.
1883  Economy / Speculation / Re: The "what's causing this price increase/decrease?" thread on: August 19, 2021, 08:53:26 AM
I guess at this point we will always call any and all corrections as healthy;) But no of course,,, when we are making slow pumps like now and I mean slow in relation to how volatile crypto can get, these kinds of dips are actually healthy as they throw out the shortterm speculators and give buyers more space to keep demand.
Actually we have two good news, first the Walter wanting to get a crypto expert for their blockchain strategy.

And then we have Binance hiring Greg Monahan, a ex-US Treasury criminal investigator, as its global money laundering reporting officer.

Binance really needs a pick me up like this after the past 2 months of people terrorizing them:) Their Binance US CEO already stepped down citing differences of opinion so them hiring the US ex Treasury guy as AML processes monitor should be a really good first step to marking down their recovery in US and rest of the world.

We are going to be writing a lot of those. I already sent it to the Military, etc.

We are bringing Religious Biohacking to HIVE. It's like Bodybuilding but Witchcraft not Bodybuilding, we aren't the average Biohackers.

I look forward to that and might keep an eye to return to read them,,, I have to say your writing and even activity is a bit,,, how will people say? Alternative?Smiley But interesting for sure and useful to read in this blockchain space instead of pseudo economics all the time all over token projects:)
1885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: August 19, 2021, 07:01:16 AM
Rallies also do not last long and then there is a period of 2 years before the next one so we definitely should not be thinking of a rally that goes into 2022,,,
On the contrary, I even think that at this time it is more reasonable to interpret price rallies to be effects of the previous halving rather than the next halving. The previous halving had just took place last year, and its effect was not expected to fully translate into a price increase immediately. It will take months before the shortage of Bitcoin reward will finally be felt by the market. So there is reason to believe that in 2021 the previous halving which was 2020 is much more influential to the current price than the next halving which will happen in 2024.

I cannot disagree,,, except as I said the rallies in the past always started around 6-12 months after the last halving,,, which actually seemed to correlate when we saw the end of last year, which was 6/7 months after the last halving.

And the rally itself lasts about a year so we are approaching soon that mark of one year. This is why I say 2022 should not be a continuation.

Thank you for the reminder I just realized all Betfree 4 and 6 promotions are back available for me again:) They disappeared during Olympics so I thought they were cancelled.

Also, sometimes it is good to just bet with instinct. I was going offline and just checked the latest promo and it was a correct score superboost so I put it with my Clubhouse freebet rewards.

1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2021, 04:48:42 AM
Crvena Zvedza defeated Romanian team Cluj 4-0 in the first match and deleted them from the field. In the match whose first half is over, Celtic is currently beating Az Alkmaar 1-0. UEFA Europa League matches will continue tomorrow. I'm very curious about the teams that will qualify.

I guess the favorites both went through then. Celtic added another goal and now have a good cushion but this was a home game so Az should have a chance to make up that gap in the following leg,,, but it already looks like Crvena Zvedza vs Celtic. I would say the favorite to go through is the Czech team here. Celtic are a faded team Tongue

Soccer Blackjack for 18 August 2021: Benfica vs PSV Eindhoven
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/sportsbet-specials/daily-specials/soccer-blackjack/sl-benfica-psv-eindhoven-611d09829fa69457d026a49e

I think a strong feeling we have either a bust or win tonight, this is Haaland on fire versus Lewandowski special:)
By the way, I forgot about their personal derby ... I think today we will see about 4 goals, and about 10 corners, which is definitely not enough for Blackjack. The game should definitely be bright as the teams meet for the first time with the support of the fans without speaking about the beginning of the season.

You turned out to be absolutely right with the goals and even the corners,,, it seems there was a big chance to hit or bust but the second half did not produce as much as needed. Also I was so wrong about Haaland scoring Undecided
1891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 18, 2021, 02:56:13 PM
Forget about the market condition and urge your friend to buy Bitcoin for the sake of having it, learning how to use it, transact it, if he experienced how to use and like it, he will do research and will eventually find out the beauty of using and holding Cryptocurrency, once he experienced it then he decides for himself what is the right time to buy more, he should first understand it.

Actually,,, a very bad idea. Never tell anyone what to do with money they might or might not have. Only saving money is what I can feel is safely adviced, to not spend on unnecessary things.

Let us not forget Bitcoin is known to have extreme volatility and can dip down as far as 90% before going up again.

Friends may not have the patience to wait until years.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 18, 2021, 02:24:09 PM
But no regrets. Without even smart contract not yet launched I agree the price is too high for something not even out of beta in the public sense.

Really surprising that ADA is in the top 5 cryptocurrencies. But I don't think thinking about overthrowing ETH is still very early in my opinion. Yes, the gas fees in ETH is quite expensive but they are not just sitting on it but they are continuously developing, this is why we have ETH 2.0. I will start believing that ADA can compete with ETH if there will be a lot of successful projects that will be built from ADA network.

Like I said, before anyone thinks of overthrowing anyone, they should get their basic fundamentals right first. ETH is a smart contract platform and it has already been through version 1 and now going to 2.0.

ADA/Cardano is still not even version 1.0 yet. This price thing is pure speculation.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 18, 2021, 12:17:22 PM
Yes congrats again to Bayern Munich, any German tournament when Bayern Munich is in it then of course this team dominates the title holder the most.

I think a lot of people fell for the odds because it was over 3x if you used price boosts,,, I also thought Haaland was for sure to score in the match but he was not on the scoresheet while his nemesis old man managed to put his name down twice.

I agree, it should also be noted that Bayern did it very well, but I see that Dortmund is like that sleeping Lion that has not woken up yet, and when he wakes up he will devastate .....

They always devastate but equally are able to get devastated at the back even to weaker opposition. Actually, a lot like, Bayern, the team is just all about whether they can score or not. Great football is the result!  Smiley
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2021, 12:00:51 PM
There is talk about how Barca is interested to buy Lacazete and Auba from Arsenal, really don't think the should be doing that by the way, but if Auba goes away, Coutihno will be a much better replacement for that left flank position Auba played most often. It is also a deal where clubs exchange players so something that definitely interests Barca with their money problems, especially if they can get Auba to sign for lower wages then Coutinho had.

I honestly have no idea how that would work out. Laca and Auba were the main pair of hope for Arsenal last season and when they were awesome for the early part of the season they could score. Giving them away for another playmaker but with nobody to convert those plays into goals is a disaster. But well, maybe I am wrong and Coutino also becomes a goalscorer.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 18, 2021, 10:55:04 AM
But Manchester City couldn't start very well. Tottenham managed to beat City here again, 1-0. They are like City's nightmare.  Grin

This is the fourth away defeat to Spurs that City meets and every time it is a counter strike that gives them away. I know I said it before also though,,, this is just the first game and sometimes the points lie in early season when in fact the teams put out could almost not be the team that later plays most of the season. Villa really will miss Grealish it seems,,,
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: August 18, 2021, 10:06:55 AM
If i make consecutive 2 to 4 losses within a period of a week, I am likely going to stop and clear my head and restrategize! These kind of scenerio happens when I must have made good call consistently over a period of two to three months. At some point, I begin to get profit apathy,  and I could start making wrong call from that point forward!

I do not think 2 or even 4 losses in a row invalidate your strategy,,, that is what stop loss is for, you still have to try a long sample for all strategies and in all market conditions only then can you see if it is working out or not.

Nevertheless taking a break is always good to sit back and reconsider how you felt and why it happened.
1897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $48k the next Bitcoin benchmark? on: August 18, 2021, 08:45:43 AM
^  29k to 48k in less than a month isn’t a slow pump.  Lol.  And that rahmat guy was right.  It’s really looking like BTC and most altcoins are starting to lose some steam after the run up.  I’m not saying it’s over or anything but the market does need to correct at some point and find new support.

It is still only less than 20k a day on average means 1k a day, which is only about 2-3% a day,,, relatively to the Bitcoin pumps since October, or the Dogecoin pumps or whatever alt you want to use, this is quite slow:)

I do not mean slow in relation to "normal" markets of course but in crypto when I say pump I think of doubledigit figure rises in a day or stuff:) But you are right anyway.
1898  Economy / Speculation / Re: The "what's causing this price increase/decrease?" thread on: August 18, 2021, 07:02:45 AM
No, I don't see any reason for the dip, maybe it was about time to have what we call a "healthy correction" as we can build more in the next coming weeks and the possibility of a $50k break out is positive.

And if you look at the price movement lately, that $48k price levels seems to be a big wall. So in order to break it, we need to step back around $44k-$45k again, gain some momentum and then attack that big wall in front of us.

I guess at this point we will always call any and all corrections as healthy;) But no of course,,, when we are making slow pumps like now and I mean slow in relation to how volatile crypto can get, these kinds of dips are actually healthy as they throw out the shortterm speculators and give buyers more space to keep demand.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 18, 2021, 06:20:40 AM
I was just reading a report about BTC , A USA family sell all there assets and with that amount they invest in Bitcoin in 2019. as in 2021 BTC was on its peak ! So they get huge profit.

But as a dump then came in crypto market, for every investor it was really a great shock.

What dump are we talking about now? Bitcoin is still above $40k,,, so if the family invested in 2019, then the maximum price they bought it for was less than 12000. So why are they panicking when they are almost 300% in the profit in this "dump"? And the rally is still very far from over right now Smiley

This is the first time I have ever read an actual scientific report in a blog post written for a blockchain project. It is not the most technical but it is for sure at least backed with papers,,, I do not know how much value it really adds to the project but I think you should attempt to make your own paper too and submit it:)
