1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins become worthless? on: January 03, 2018, 06:34:58 PM
Hi,

Of course, I don't hope for that. Still, I think that the bitcoin can indeed become worthless. The main reason for that is that bitcoin cannot be used currently as a daily currency. If no service is developped accordingly, bitcoin may die.. just because it won't be of any use.

We are not on that slope... but it may still happen!
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 06:26:02 PM
Hi,

Actually your question is quite interesting... Most people buy bitcoin just in order to trade... And maybe with the profit made, they will buy things, but it won't be in bitcoin!

So, really, will you "buy" anything in bitcoin?
1903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i want to know more about bitcoin !! on: January 03, 2018, 06:15:44 PM
Hi,

Let's just get started with a simple thing: do you know what bitcoin is?

It is not just a mere trading tool, the bitcoin represents a new currency, that may, in the end, allow us to get rid of bank and traditionnal financial institutions. It has been created as a digital asset that cannot be manipulated by a few, thanks to the blockchain.

Then, the basic principle in order to make profit is to make the most of trading rates, just as in traditionnal trading. Wink
1904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miss Bitcoin on: January 03, 2018, 01:43:19 PM
Hi,

I think it depends on what you mean by "lose". If they lose access to their digital wallet.. then, the bitcoin on it are indeed lost. The system (and the blockchain) can allow to know where it is, but it shall remain stuck there.

Then, if you are talking about unreliable transactions with uncertain effects.. Then I am pretty sure that bitcoin cannot be lost. Stolen, maybe, but they cannot disappear!
1905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Called the CRA (Canadian tax revenue agency...)... on: January 03, 2018, 01:38:57 PM
Hi,

Most governmental agencies do know about bitcoin... They just wonder how to deal with it... The bitcoin is not a real money, it is a digital currencies with rather chaotic trends...

As most governments think that for the moment, it is better to ignore bitcoin, of course institutionnal concerns cannot be adressed.

Yet, for you it can be a good thing. If there is nothing in the law, it is not illegal, so take advantage of it! Wink
1906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Game-changer of cryptoworld ! on: January 03, 2018, 01:23:55 PM
Hi,

There is no way that China cannot affect the bitcoin community.

First, because there is obviously a large community of bitcoinners in China (quite logically, there are more people than in most other countries)
Then, because the Chinese economy is set in a strange in-between, avoiding to chose either capitalism or communism
Finally, because indeed mining is still possible there when it has become utterly irrelevant in most western countries

So yes, China is affecting and will affect bitcoin! Smiley
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can i know what is the proper cryptocurrency on: January 03, 2018, 01:19:16 PM
Hi,

What do you know exactly about bitcoin? Why do you want to invest? Now is not a very good time for very short-term profits...

If you want to invest juste for a short-sighted profit, then you should invest only in one currency. Just chose one which has relatively low rates and wait for it to increase a bit. Don't wait too long and don't expect terrific profits.

If you are rather long-term thinking, then the question is much more difficult to answer. What do you wanna do exactly?

Anyway, always remember 1 thing: only buy what you can afford to lose!
1908  Economy / Gambling / Re: What about the "trusty" games on: December 31, 2017, 05:16:21 PM
"Farer"? or did you mean fair?

It depends on the site and how they generate their random numbers. The bitcoin gambling foundation has always said that to be a real provably fair system, it must have this formula,

Code:
[Server Seed Hash] + [Client Seed] + [Nonce]

Not always. Bitcoin gambling wasn't different from the rest of gambling not so long ago.
Provably fair is a relatively new and unique gambling design to "prove" that no one is cheating. But it's only used in modern sites and mainly in the dice sites or anything related to this.
Most casinos don't have them. Bitstarz and shits like this...
As far as I know FortuneJack doesn't have this feature either.

It will still need some time to spread accordingly Wink
1909  Economy / Gambling / Re: Your lack of Vigilance is costing YOU - Wake up! on: December 31, 2017, 03:45:46 PM
Hmm... I don't know if you're aware of that Op but provable fairness isn't an obligation at all...
I don't know which website invented it to be honest. But it's actually a convention in dice sites and on some other gambling sites on BTC but for all online casinos there is nothing like provable fairness that is implemented most of the time.

I don't understand what you're trying to say, that casinos are bending the odds in their favor? No shit sherlock xD
1910  Economy / Economics / Re: 26,000 blockchain projects launched in 2016, 92 percent are now dead on: December 31, 2017, 11:54:24 AM
Hmm...
Sorry to shatter your dreams and all but... No that's not true ^^
92% failure rate is pretty normal rate for anything not just for crypto.
Most companies and projects fail in the first two years. That's not specific to crypto. In fact I'm pretty amazed by the success rate! 8% of the projects succeed? That's awesome! It means we got 2000 more crypto projects than 2 years ago Cheesy
1911  Economy / Services / Re: Let's Build Together-Earn $100/Day On Steemit on: December 31, 2017, 11:45:55 AM
...
Never saw anything about steemit. So maybe I'm just the noob here...
But I don't see how something like this is even possible.
Anyway... Why not trying?
But I'd love to see anyone who actually received even 1 $ for that. There is no way that the platform is paying 200$ for posting an article xD
1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 11:35:39 AM
This seems to be the safe option to assume:

Kind of rhymes with my guess on reachting $24xxx  Roll Eyes

Hmm... A bit too optimistic maybe?
There must be a huge huuuuuge resistance because of all the people who invested in the 18k because of the FOMO.
I think we first need a stabilizing period probably around the 12/14k. It will allow the renewal of investors who won't be afraid of another drop because for them 12k will be the new "average".

Expecting 24k is expecting ANOTHER +100% growth and I think it's really to much. What would justify something like this? Especially with the diversity of investments you can make right now.
1913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish sentiment starting to dominate Tradingview on: December 31, 2017, 08:10:30 AM
https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/page-3/

As I scroll thru the pages the bearish posts are starting to dominate. Before it was much more green lights than red lights.

Sure, end of the year is always a bit bearish for btc.

You got tons of people needing the money so willing to sell.
You got people taken back by the end of the year taxes.
Overall anyway you have all those people who invested after the major growth of black friday but didn't do it for any rationnal reason, just because price was getting higher.

It's no problem if btc goes to 10k. It would be good in fact. BTC was 8k 2 months ago, let us rejoice it has safely secured a 25% growth in less than a quarter! we shouldn't say price is going down, we should say price is stabilizing above a +25% fain from few months ago.
1914  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ɃETCOIN.AG - POKER CLOSING - 42 BTC BBJP??? ✅ on: December 30, 2017, 10:43:16 PM
I don't understand how Betcoin can still be oppenned after all this time!

It's been... Three years? Two? I don't know seems ages to me. But I don't understand people who still play there. Sure they are great at marketing and avoiding any kind of direct conflict and all... But there have been enough proofs of their willing cheats. They scam when you hit the big jackpot and the poker rooms have been extremely suspicious for a long time.
Anyway, at this point I'd say that if you get scammed by betcoin, you kinda earned it. It was not cool for the first ones but now we all know how to handle that, just don't go there. And I'd bet that's why they're closing, reputation is too heavy to lift, better start again with a brand new name :/
1915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 30, 2017, 07:38:01 PM
Bitcoin dumping after finally realizing it is not what everybody thought it was.

TX fees are way too much for a half assed project in the first place.

Bring on RiPpLE! Grin

Hmm...

You mean it's not a unique decentralized currency system allowing anyone to store value in a rather secure way?
A way to transfer wealth around the globe without taking into account bank taxing and government regulations?
A way to stay independant from a fiat currency system OBVIOUSLY scammed from the very beginning?

Damned and there I was thinking it's still that ^^
1916  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 Truegame - First Smart Contract Platform For Lotto & Games of Chance 🎰 on: December 30, 2017, 03:00:06 PM
That's a great idea you had here Cheesy

Indeed there is a large specter of possibilities with smart contract, so you're pretty sure you'll always have something new to developp and propose to the community.
You might as well propose some kind of event of game design you know, like every customer can propose a game idea and the one that is like the most gets developped in the next semester?

Well that's just my two cents but I think it's something great with a long term potential Smiley
1917  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: December 30, 2017, 07:59:15 AM
What do you want to see on the next version of PD?

Altcoins?
PVP/Multiplayer?
Improved livestats/graphs?

Suggest here

MULTIPLAYER
OH GOD PLEASE DO THIS
I mean there are tons of sites, they're more or less cool and all but I've NEVER seen a dice site with multi!!!

That would be a complete unique feature. I don't even see how you could do that and still take a small% for the site but I don't care find a solution THIS is a freaking good idea :3
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BustaCoin - Crowd Sourced bustabit-lite litecoin casino on: December 30, 2017, 07:41:54 AM
20%?Huh
20 FUCKING % Huh?

I... Understand that founding is an important thing. And that you mostly invested money in the project and all.
But 20% of the ownership just for being the founder is too fucking high. You imagine? That means that beside people needing to trust you and your structure, cause you could always run with the money, no one knows who you really are, anyone investing is INSTANTLY losing 20% of the value of the investment.

That's not something you can promote xD
"hey come here, trust me without any actual reason and make an investment from which I'll take 20% at the beginning"
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best crypto lotteries? on: December 29, 2017, 07:07:33 PM
You know in a sense freebitcoin is a lottery!

It's a faucet alright but you can earn up to 100$ in btc. And for free.
I wouldn't put my trust in a site that is "just" a lottery. To my knowledge there are none that are legit enough to make you take the risk of handing your money to a stranger. I've seen several projects of a btc lottery trying to launch on the forum but everytime the problems are the same: lack of trust, low profitability and the need of having several participants while most people don't give a damn about lotteries ^^
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will bitcoin start rising? Will ripple rule the market in the future? on: December 29, 2017, 04:45:13 PM
Lol!!!

Bitcoin has made such a HUGE move forward that people just keep focusing on last week losses.
What's the matter if btc lost 10% in a week? Did everyone already forget that it jumped nearly 100% in value in about... what? A month? Two maybe?

Ripple is just getting the money from the panic sales of btc by people too stupid to realize the trith: there is no bubble just a huge massive exponential move forward. That's all.
So yeah expect btc to move upwards! But don't mind me it doesn't mean ripple won't follow, there is room for plenty of currencies here Smiley
