1901  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 14, 2015, 08:41:01 PM
I think the thread would be totally different if BTC price was about 150 instead of 250 (roughly) Smiley
I don't know if people would be so relaxed about the future of bitcoin if we could see the price falling rapidly from 250 to 150 anyway.
Also I'm sure that all the people would be more exited about the BTC price if it was about to reach to 400
1902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 14, 2015, 08:31:41 PM
If you quit RL job and change to bitcoin, what will happen if you have to go to Hospital for a quick surgery? Who will pay the bill at the end? In my country, medical system requires active job or you have to pay a hell lot for everything, even for consulting with a doctor or pulling a tooth etc.
You can find private doctors or hospitals, they looks like decent hotels, but they are really expensive. So good thing about RL job is that your medical treatment is for free.
And you haven't mentioned pension system that is different in every country, somewhere if you had a good job for 40 years, you can get a pension similar to your salary, but other countries doesn't help you when you get old and you yourself have to gather all the funds that will help you live a decent life afzer the retirement.
To quit daily job is for those who can afford to cover these kind of extra cost from the BTC salary if needed, orhave a decent cold storage with the necessary amounts Smiley
1903  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 13, 2015, 10:09:39 PM
If countries wants to ban paper money, people are smart enough to find a workaround solution for it. They can use small golden rings instead of coins and paper money for example, so they will have something phisically to own and they assign value to them in their minds. Gold won't be banned anytime, currencies may change and can be digitalized later on.
1904  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 13, 2015, 09:51:45 PM
Price of bitcoin won't drop to 50 in a secon I think. It would be a longer time, and it means that most people will start to sell in case the price starts to decrease. If the price will get to 50 and will stop there, it means that more and more people start to buy again if price reaches a predefined level in their strategy. If buyers are enough to stop the price falling, it can gain more and more buy again and can start price to go up again. But if they are not enough to stop the price falling...

Wanted to share this with all dice lovers, the progress i have made by investing in crypto-games bankroll :
From time to time, i will keep posting about my this active investment about its progress. That's all for now , peace, and good luck to all dicers.  Wink
Is this investment mean that you have more than 1000 coin profit in a bit more than 10 days time (from 1st Oct)? It's really promising. OK the coins are not bitcoins only doge, but anyway. Does this investment mean automatic profit for the investor or this also based on luck, even partially? Or if you hold your investment for a longer period of time, you can expect at least a minimal profit?

How will it be technically possible to control the bitcoin system? OK, governments have more powerful tools than normal people and they can control a large number of PC or buy some specific hardware to have as many mining capacity as possible. But is it possible that a big government (like US) can have so much mining capacity to take over the control of bitcoin?
1908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 08:50:02 PM
What do you think about a strategy that is simple like this:
I play 10 (or any number, but have to stick to it every day as a max.) times with the dice every day, maximum. If I win, I'll quit for that day.
If I don't win, I don't care, I won't play more than 10.
Does this help to minimize risk in the way that I can't get into a loosing loop, only fot the maximum 10/day?
Or it doesn't matter on the long run?

Its good that you have well control on your self as you have restricted yourself to play 10 games. This sounds good, if you can afford the 10 games and you are stopping at the right time then its fine. I would like to suggest that take a break in between two games, don't play in a one long session.  This strategy can be work, try this and all the best.
Thanks for sharing your opinion in connection with my strategic idea. Is it really matters if I take a break between games and don't do the 10 games in a row? Is this relays on your personal experience or there is something technical thing that it is based on? I'm really curious. I hardly can belive that gambling is purely based on luck, if you try to minimize risk while you play. So this break between the games can be a kind of risk minimization technique?
1909  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 12, 2015, 10:04:27 PM
up until now i dont know if bitcoin can be categorized as currency,,it just commodity without physical like gold..

if bitcoin a currency there there will be a paper bitcoin,,or anything that has physical..
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I've hered that there are some phisical bitcoin coins, but since the value of them are so much (approx. 250 USD now) that it makes people not to use them as normal everyday coins.
Just imagine what is the approx. value of the normal coins you have in your pocket/leather wallet/car's ashtry, is it worth the value of 1 bitcoin coin?
The bitcoin coin is phisical (or will be phisical if I know it wrong), but because of the value of it you would put it into your safe instead of your pocket.
Another question if the bitcoin coin will have smaller coins (change) like cent for EUR or for USD. This could be the satoshi for example

Any physical bitcoin have no value as a currency but only as an ornamentation object. Those are made by bitcoin passionate people which pretend to create with those even their being unique (meaning being unique as it is every bitcoin) and not reproducible. But this don't make them regular bitcoin because bitcoin is known only as a digital currency from everyone. And it is not known yet how (which, what) can be a physical bitcoin.
Thanks for the clarification, so it means that those phisical coins are only a kind of art work instead of the phisical appearance of bitcoin itself?
If you have a bitcoin coin like that, it only worths what passionate poeple wants to pay for it even if the 1 bitcoin value is written on that?
Bitcoin is working while there is power for the computers that processes the transactions, like money is working while there are banks and clearing systems they run the whole system. Phisical money exists, but payments are tending to be done by bankcards, even since paypass or paywave or the smartphone NFC payment systems have been introduced. You can use NFC cards as a montly ticket on subway, train, bus etc.
So these kind of digital things are used and alive as long as the backend system is up and running.
I can imagine the phisical bitcoin as a kind of coin that you buy only once and you assign your wallet to it (so it should be a kind of NFC tag coin, you don't have to hand it over to buy anything but just to tap it to the reader and the payment is done.)
Normal everyday bank cards are only specific numeric strings and are linked to your account where you have your money digitally (or you have your credit line also digitally in case of credit cards).
So why it is not possible for bigger bitcoin wallet providers to phisically produce some NFC tags with their own logo on it and let the people start using them instead of (or paralell with) their bank cards?
The problem yet should be the acceptance, but I think every smartphone that's NFC capable could be a kind of POS terminal for these kind of tags and this way acceptance could spread rapidly (e.g. wallet provider's app would be able to process this kind of payments)
Even there are phisical wallets available (trezor, etc), these are nearly the bitcoins themselves.

1910  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin classified as a currency. No VAT for BTC also in Switzerland. on: October 12, 2015, 09:20:29 PM
Yes if the the company that runs the online exchange web page is localized in Switzerland, because in this case the Swiss law is applicable to it. In this meaning you buy the bitcoin from an exchange in Switzerland.
If you asked that you can buy bitcoin phisically at local exchanges in switzerland like you give them e.g. EUR and they give you bitcoin notes or coins, it's not the case.
1911  Economy / Economics / Re: why online shopping, recharge or anything else dont accept rupay debit card. on: October 12, 2015, 09:11:29 PM
In connection with bitcoin, only VISA can be a competitor. MasterCard doesn't want to cooperate with the bitcoin system, so the card issuers can't link bitcoin wallets to MasterCard branded cards. (According to my lasf info). If you meet with a card that is MasterCard and they say they can pay with bitcoin with that card, it's probably a simple MasterCard prepaid card. In this case you can use it in any shop where they show the logos, but it's not directly linked to your wallet, you can only top it up more easily with bitcoin or any other currency. In this case, you fix the bitcoin exchange rate at the moment when you top up your prepaid card, so even if the exchange rate changes in the positive way, you won't benefit from it (OK, if the exchange rate goes agains you after the top up, you won't realize the lost because you have already converted the full amount from bitcoin to the currency of the card.)
VISA cooperates with major bitcoin wallets (not directly but with card issuers, like Debit, who issues XAPO's VISA cards.)
These cards are directly linked to your wallet and it only converts the necessary amount from your bitcoin balance, at the actual exchange rate every time you use your card.

It's possible that paecga129 has just missed the topic, I guess. There is a Cryptogames topic where you need to post your username only if you are registered on their website and they will give you some bits for free to gamble with.
If you are interested, I can search for the link of that topic, just let me know.

right now im only trying to not fall into negative zone...

small profit is better than loss...only taking small risk for small profit...because i had big loss before..and try to figuring something..
How can you do that to take only small risk? Is there any strategy for it or you only have to risk small amount once and never play in big? I'm searching for a system to be able to control the risk, if possible.

I have Xapo debit card, it's VISA branded and accepted by every merchants who accept VISA card. They even don't know that I am paying with my bitcoins, from my bitcoin wallet. They can only see that I give them my VISA card and key in my PIN code (4 * Smiley )
After the transaction is validated and they get their money from the company who manages their card services. They don't care about the background as long as they get their money for the purchase
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: New idea on how to spread the wealth between simple people and spread bitcoin on: October 09, 2015, 10:47:07 PM
I had also read the topic but until you share details, no one will join to your project.
It's like in real life, people are always choose the easier route. It's always easier to just sit back and relax instead of start something that you don't know exactly what is it and how to start it and of course you should gain their interest to help you.
If you create a project plan, you can divide the process into pieces. You can always find poeple easier for little tasks.
Waiting for the details, I'm curious
