1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 07:06:02 AM
Look at the charts, its like they are one...

I've been looking at that LTC/BTC chart for a while. I dumped my Litecoins at 0.028 having watched it for a while and noticing it's on a road to oblivion. Looks like so far I was right. I've been telling you guys Litecoin bagholders to stop losing money on that dead coin, but you'd rather listen to El Dude. Well, your choice - your money.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 07:03:46 AM
If LTC went to $5 anytime soon, I would expect BTC to be around $300

Not necessarily.

When LTC/BTC goes to 0.01 and lower, Bitcoin can still be $600, but Litecoin $6 and less.
1923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really believe that Bitcoin will hit 1,000,000 on: June 13, 2014, 06:57:19 AM
No, because of market selling assholes, we can't have nice things.

Can you eli5 please? Who is an asshole exactly? Cheesy
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 06:52:49 AM
No actually I never sold a coin for fiat and never will.

If Litecoin goes to $5, will you sell? $3? $1? You will never sell or will sell at some lower price?
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 06:46:18 AM
devphp and his cronies rather you invest in nxt and IPO type coins where him and his masters own all the coins.

Haha, I never said anything about NXT to him, you said it. I advised him to at least do his research and invest into PoW coin that can't be 51% attacked - Myriadcoin. I buy NXT at exchanges as unfortunately I wasn't even aware of Bitcoin or any other cryptos when the NXT IPO took place.

El Dude, did you dump all your Litecoins on suckers yet? Looks like Saigonsmokes and other dudes are going to be bag-holders for your Litecoins Smiley
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 06:24:43 AM
@Saigonsmokes,

you contradict yourself. If it's about freedom, then you certainly can't rely on 1-2 large monopoly corporations mining coins and processing transactions for you.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] 2 Papers Released - Latest Projects || MAMMMP on: June 13, 2014, 06:02:42 AM
If you are as excited for the future of Myriad as I am, please do not quote or reply to this comment.

 Lips sealed

Is there a piechart graph of pools mining Myriadcoin? Separated into 5 sections by each algo, or not, doesn't matter. You guys would be doing great right now boosting some demand with that graph Wink

I don't really believe that any alt has even a slight chance of replacing bitcoin as top coin.

Even if that is the case, the trading opportunities still are in altcoins.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.7 Available on: June 13, 2014, 05:06:50 AM
lite , noble , black , dark , monero, mint ,xc ,..... badger (don't laugh, only a few :Roll Eyes

But right now only my lite and dark stash exceed a 10 btc value

It's hard to follow developments with each coin I guess when you have more than 5 coins.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 05:02:08 AM
I do get it but I do not get your comparison to Doge - Doge is not going to succeed.

Well, alright, if you're a fan of PoW, at least go with Myriadcoin. Its marketing sucks, just like Litecoin's marketing, but at least they have the 51%-attack possibility covered.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 04:55:04 AM
Do you see how strong Litecoins network is becoming? Look at Doge Roll Eyes

I would be surprised if Doge is here in 12 months.

http://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/hashrate-ltc-doge.html

You don't get it, do you?
Centralization goes against the idea of crypto currencies. You can have the highest hash rate in the world, but if one or two entities control the whole hash rate, the crypto is kaputt. It's same as central bank printing money. It's no longer people minting coins.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.7 Available on: June 13, 2014, 04:46:14 AM

Don't worry , I have a few doge also.

But I'm realistic unlike to the moon guys.
And , I was calling chinese exchange a fake from october Wink

Being realistic is smart.
Besides doge, what else? Come on, I am not asking for exact numbers Smiley
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: June 13, 2014, 04:44:11 AM
Then I am looking forward to
FIAT->NXT->Asset->Qora! Smiley

Qora asset was set up on the NXT AE 2-3 days ago by Dzarmush, go look it up and you can buy it there.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: June 13, 2014, 04:42:39 AM
Cyprus is what originally caused a lot of interest in BTC in early 2013 and it's run up. It allowed people to see the benefits of being able to control you money the way that BTC allows.

Supposedly, other 'cypruses' will have a similar effect.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 13, 2014, 04:37:04 AM
Why will LTC fail? You have yet to tell us this.

Simple answer.
Because it brings nothing new compared to Bitcoin. But it copys the major Bitcoin's fault - centralization of mining power due to ASICs, just lagging behind Bitcoin a year or two. Bitcoin is already failing with Ghash owning close to 50% of all hash power.

There is one Scrypt coin which brought an economic and marketing innovation - Dogecoin. Although the 51%-attack danger is still a problem, but at least Dogecoin is so cheap right now compared to Litecoin that you won't lose much if it happens and the price probably won't go any lower, because it's already at the lowest. Not Litecoin though. Litecoin still has a lot of downside. See my simple answer why.

EDIT: I just wrote this and then went to check https://blockchain.info/en/pools?timespan=24hrs   and Ghash IS at 50% RIGHT NOW! Crazy!
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Litecoin hold the #2 spot? Doubtful..and here are the coins who will benefit on: June 12, 2014, 08:19:51 PM
Yup volume in the millions everyday yup everyone is getting out every single day and the price is still not $0

There is 20+ mln. litecoins to dump to suckers * $10 = that's quite a few days even with that kind of volume, can't happen overnight you know.

Again here it is.

It seems like Utopianfuture has been caught hypocritically getting multiple stakes. If you know the past about NEM you will know the obbsession against sockpuppets. Personally I always hated the NEM initial idea of fairness which has been proven many times to be a false idea.

I do think its relevent to Qora because it was/is a major competitor. I don't think it has much chance to recover its rep now. But thats open to discussion.

Ok, I've got the idea now.

Well, regardless of what the leader did or did not, I've been saying for the past 2 weeks that NEM won't fly. Not because of the leader. Not because somebody bought 10 or 100 nemstakes. But because the developers of NEM, if indeed they exist, haven't shown a single line of code in 3+ months since the IPO fund raising was over. That got to tell you something.

The scandal doesn't exist now?, incorrect.

Since we have nothing to talk about anyway, can you give a summary in 2-3 sentences what the scandal is about?
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: June 12, 2014, 06:42:58 PM
Any thoughts on the NEM scandal unfolding?

It's very easy. NEM does not exist. When it will be released - then we will have thoughts on it.
