1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there is no Standard Marketplace like Amazon with BTC as payment method?? on: April 29, 2020, 01:54:44 PM
I also accept a point about legal issues...
Legalising crypto's in many countries...will bring big players to participate and when such exposure happens...i think lot's of the technological issues can be sorted out... Smiley Smiley

I think putting aside the legal issues with most countries,  there is also the problem of transaction confirmation,  price fluctuations and trust in transaction, though this can be minor reasons compare to the legal issues, many countries still have restrictions to use or accept btc, this can be challenging to most small and medium sellers,
Again, like you said, I think people still rely heavily on the use of fiat card payment than using btc, it is more in theory than in practice, I think haven't gotten use to using it yet, and there are not much places to use it.
1942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 29, 2020, 01:43:02 PM
Just an idea. If Craig Wright is NOT Satoshi Nakamoto, he would definitely risk the real Satoshi come up with a proof, that Craig is not SN. Is it possible, that CW explicitly knows about the death of the person behind SN, so he can make his claims without backing them up with a proof?  Roll Eyes
it is possible that he knew that Satoshi Nakamoto did not want to appear or he was arrested, so he claimed to be Satoshi. But it doesn't matter that he is one of the people who holds the most bitcoins. Now, even if Satoshi appeared, what could he do when bitcoin's technology was in the way? For me, who is Satoshi Nakamoto doesn't matter, who is making the most money in this market. Now I only pay attention to the influencers and they can manipulate the market.

That's no longer news, I mean don't we all already know that Satoshi wants to remain anonymous,  unknown,  in this case, it is very convenient for an attention seeker like Craig W to want to take advantage of that, remember he can not verify that he is actually satoshi despite his claim,
I would say he doesn't know shit, he is just like everyone else with what already know, he can shout all he wants he is satoshi   but fact remains he is not, being one of the pioneer of btc is different from trying to be the creator of btc.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: April 28, 2020, 04:23:04 PM
I agree with you, crypto can not replace fiat at least not now, maybe that can happen in the future, they both serve important purpose and can work alongside one another for better spending experience, we not also forget that fiat is always the preferred option when the market is crashing, many people often cash out to fiat, which evidently shows that we all still need fiat, i think it will be better if they both coexist rather than one replacing the other, but who knows what the future holds.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 28, 2020, 02:53:09 PM
Monero get delisted once again because of low trading volume and anonymity functions on Houbi Korea exchange, why is this happening? Are people getting tired of privacy coin? Xmr is one of the top coins, what's your take about this?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-korea-delists-xmr-amid-nth-room-sexual-exploitation-case-rumors/amp

why will they have problem with anonymity now? isn't monero an anonymous coin from day one when they listed it on their exchange, why is it now a problem for them, if their excuse is as a result of low volume that is understandable, delisting because it is anonymous coin is ridiculous, except they have a hidden agenda,
between why will people get tired of anonymous coin? isn't that one of the qualities of blockchain, people what decentralization, anonymous, and privacy, perhaps there are better privacy coin out there with better returns, can't really say a particular reason.

1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Best Crypto Currency to Invest in this Time ? on: April 28, 2020, 12:47:21 PM
Better to look for what will be safe for your investment, most top coins/tokes can be a good investment depending on the amount you have to invest, because most top coins are already expensive so you would need a reasonable amount to invest, btc is always the first choice,
imagine buying btc when it dip to $3400 and hold till this very moment, that is some decent profit right there, same with eth, those who buy at dip have made good profit this past few days,
i think it all boils down to knowing the right time to invest, and also know when to take profit
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top exchange listed bounties is getting sucks on: April 28, 2020, 12:37:01 PM
Is it just me thinking this way or there are other people on here thinking same way? Listed bounty campaigns are getting annoying this year, blockburn postponed payout to bounty hunters, Cartesi split payout into three phases and distribution starts after 30 days of listing.

Too exchange like binance for that matter, bounty allocation was damn low to begin with, I start promoting listed bounties this year because of 2019 tachyon protocol success that lay as a lesson to me but things aren't going as I thought. Harmony one did bounty year ago and I heard they distribute in batches too, price already go down before bounty hunters get their payouts, how is this any fair ?

Please drop your thoughts

To me i think Tachyon protocol was my best so far last year/ this year, i don't know what lesson you had with the campaign but i think many hunters will agree it was great, although i feel as a junior rank the reward was not that good, i understand that part,
and as for cartesi, i think it was already stated towards the ending of the campaign the payment will be split, considering the bounty pool, i don't think it would have affected the price at all, but the team have their reasons for doing what they do i guess, in blockburn case, i think the volume was very low so the postponement was a bit justified.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: April 28, 2020, 12:10:55 PM
Where will you see bounties that pays BTC and ETH today when you aren't a full member to legendary member on this forum? This your advice is only good for high ranking members, as for those who are Jr member or member they are suck with new projects token only

No, even for high ranking members that is not always the case, there are lots of good quality posters with higher rank in this forum that don't get the opportunity to campaign for btc paying project, not because they aren't good enough but because those campaigns are often limited to certain number of participants, the available spot get filled quickly,
and in most cases, they are in short supply compare to alts campaign that are surplus, everyone wants to be in those campaign but base on their limited nature, you just have to improvise with what is available.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: April 28, 2020, 10:31:48 AM
So I need to spend $1000 or more for this phone to store these three cryptocurrency. Who will want to do that, when there are so many free wallets available in the market to store more than three cryptocurrency.

A hardware wallet will be costing me less than this phone.

You got it in a wrong way, mate. You don't have to buy Samsung S20 ultra as a crypto wallet rather this smartphone is a gem and the best Android phone which can beat iPhone easily! So, if you buy that great smartphone, you will get a strong crypto wallet for a bonus. I would suggest you, please watch Samsung S20 review from youtube, you will realize how great this smartphone is!

we know Samsung do make great phones but to be honest they are mostly overpriced, and the worst part they release new phones yearly making the previous ones unworthy Cheesy
And as for the wallet, i think most crypto newbie will find it more useful and convinient because they are saved the trouble of getting a separate wallet, although left with limited choice, but yeah i think it is a great idea and a way of creating crypto awareness to many samsung users.
1950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Has Zero Active Development!! on: April 28, 2020, 10:20:31 AM
what is specific use case of ltc! i mean if no proper use case and no active development then most certainly project will slowly die, i think the team should really consider this and try to improve on developing the project, except ofcourse they are already tired of supporting the project, they loss interest on it, hope this is not the case.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 28, 2020, 09:52:49 AM
My daily life are not impacted by crypto and i don't think it will be in a long while,
I have been in crypto for quit some time now, long enough for me to understand some important aspect of this space and how to be when investing, plus it as really impacted my financial status,
actually, i first come across it online, during one of my days surfing the Internet i saw a btc advert and follow the link and my curiosity grow, and that's was the beginning of my journey in crypto.

1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: April 27, 2020, 11:23:45 AM
I've seen few projects that decieved investors into thinking that they will list on binance or okex and Kucoin without these exchanges confirmation, my advice is once a project claim they are going top exchange do not hesitate to go to the top exchange social media, if the listing is legit the exchange will atleast say something about it. Wise up

I completely get you, sometimes some project mostly make reference to this big name exchange to lure investors into thinking they have the intention of listing their someday, but in reality that's not the case,
Since the hype of ico have died long ago, ieo is the only way of generating funds, project team are desperately looking for ways to make people invest in their empty project by making false claims, so yeah, very important for everyone to really watch out for such project and avoid them if necessary.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: April 27, 2020, 11:17:21 AM
Ofcourse, what good is a project without an exchange? Not just any but a good one, This is why project needs to make exchange listing top priority, listing on the right exchange will certainly help the project during the ieo process, but unfortunately some project don't see it that way, rather, they will choose the cheapest of all neglecting the damage it might cause to the growth of the project, I think most serious project always put this into account which is very necessary.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gonna sell my stock assets and invest in these top currencies. Suggestions? on: April 27, 2020, 11:07:02 AM
I think you already made a good choice with btc, eth, bnb, ltc, and if you may you can add bch for quick profit purpose, not saying the rest won't bring good profit but bch is very fast to increase in price I.e after btc,
however, I think crypto will give better returns long term than stock,  all you need is know when to buy and hold, maybe wait for a dip to buy. And don't forget to do your own little research before investing and invest what you can afford to lose.
Best of luck with your investment.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cuba opens its own exchange on: April 26, 2020, 10:20:47 AM
I think in the money transfer aspect, it will be a great relief to many Cuban people living abroad to send money home without much stress, and i like the fact the exchange is decentralized, I hope they will receive the support of the Cuban people to facilitate more growth and development of the exchange,
Good initiative by the developers, they have the interest of the people at heart.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Payment platforms that support Visa or Mastercard cards = the future of Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2020, 10:07:20 AM
Am still trying to think of other easy ways to spend btc if not through payment system, because I know btc is not physical, it is digital,  I don't know of any btc card yet where you can spend your btc directly to buy anything without any third party,
Eventually the only available option still fall on the payment system at least for now, and I don't think kyc is such I bad thing, I already use my bank card to buy online often times, so I think this is the only way to spend crypto for now.
1958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Black Americans on: April 26, 2020, 09:54:05 AM
This applies to anyone irrespective of your colour or race, many people are struggling with the financial system don't necessarily mean a certain colour or race struggles harder than the others, people from every part of the world use btc because it suits their transaction needs, the American blacks can equally do same without making so much issue about it, btc is for everyone no matter your race. All they need is some reading and doing research.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy now 1 sat, sell next year 100sats+! It is not impossible :) on: April 25, 2020, 02:00:45 PM
Okey now you are a confirm shiller, lol! Just like that you found a gem that everyone should jump in on because you have a hunch it will be 100 sat in minutes or seconds, and the most interesting part of it is on yobit the most reputable exchange ofcourse   Cheesy
I hope no newbie will fall for this trap, be careful with what you investment your money on,
If they are going to pump this obvious shit coin be ready to dump as fast as you can otherwise you will be sorry you didn't.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: April 25, 2020, 01:51:06 PM
It's a Good time to get some Ethereum?

Ether has risen More than 70% since March 13 and may be about to rise further, It looks like the next ETH 2.0 launch seems to be raising the price of ETH.

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ethereum

I Just want to ask why you feel it is good time to get some eth now that it has risen by almost 70%?
Why do some people wait to see a coin risen to some good percentage before they feel it is good time to buy? Maybe if you had bought a while back you would have been up by 70% in your investment,  eth is a good and trust project that don't  require too much thinking to decide,
anyways just curious why this is, different stroke for different folks I guess.
