1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: April 01, 2021, 01:46:14 PM

As long as bnb is on the binance exchange no one can deny is centralization because binance is a centralized exchange, but the issue of printing or minting more bnb in future feature the possibility is always there, as time goes on the team may decide for what so ever reason to make more of the coin is within they power. BNB devaluation is a contested question because at this time the coin is already above $300 and still increasing.

It is highly unlikely to even consider binance would mint more bnb in the future, if that's the case why going so much trouble doing quarterly burn then turn around at some point to mint same coin they have burn periodically for years now with the awareness of the public, does that make any sense to you! binance may be a centralized exchange but it doesn't really translate to mean it will start printing new bnb,
what about non-centralized projects that mint new adfditional coins without the knowlegde of investors or are saying no decentralized project has ever done this!
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin halal? on: April 01, 2021, 10:34:57 AM
The use of Bitcoin under Islamic law has been a topic of discussion in recent years, as many Muslims worry that Bitcoin investments may be haram.
I am not trying to discourage people from believing in whatever religion they what but here is one of the reasons I think religions were just created to divide, manipulate and control people. Even when you have your own money, they now want to control on how you can invest it with some funny laws.

Aside from being an asset that can be invested in, Bitcoin can also act as an electronic payment alternative. Besides, what's so different from investing in Bitcoin to investing in Gold, Oil,  Real Estates or Farming?
At the end of it all, everyone is trying to look for more gains.

The difference between investing in btc and other commodities like Gold, oil, Real Estate etc according to the article above is "particularly during times of extreme growth—since they couldn't be sure whether the appreciation of their investment would be considered haram (forbidden) or halal (permissible) under Islamic law"
those other investment options don't experince extremely price pump like btc does and this is a point of concern to the muslim community which is why some find it confusing to invest, in my opinion, i don't think this is enough to be consider as haram but am not a learnerd person in religious matter so i may be wrong.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 01, 2021, 10:11:45 AM
If You Buy Today and You dont touch it before one year but You also dont read the news of btc bans and fuds Smiley  then You Will be wealthy.
As history have showed us its not a trading or ta or other Type of trading.
The most wealthy with btc are those who dont give s about corrections they just hodle one year or longer.

Most of the newbie  traders even Will be rich of crypto If they will not read news about crypto or btc at all at least one year.

Yeah bro this has been proven overtime, those who benefit more with btc are the patient ones who buy and hold for long term, all you need as a holder is put your btc on a secured wallet and let them be, take your mind off it (if you can), spend your time pursuing other beneficial means then check back in about a year or two and see how amazing your portfolio would look  Cool
in reality, only few people can do this, many of us are used to constantly checking the market and given ourselves unnecessary headace.

1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 One Million Market cap Gems - [INSULA] and [CURIO] on: March 30, 2021, 01:17:50 PM
The projects you've brought in are coordinated and everyone will know that, but I think you should keep looking for such good projects, but instead of sharing the misleading content, PUMP & DUMP I think you detail the potential of the projects you share, hope you will do better with what you are trying to help people, if your purpose is good here we will always support you.

Maybe you should try and read before you type, have you gone through the list of previous call he made! perhaps you don't fully understand the real meaning of pump and dump,
would you consider btc, bnb, eth, dot, link, and so forth a pump and dump! because all this coins i have mentioned have experience a massive pump this past days regardless of their trading volume and they also dump to some level, i don't understand what you see as misleading in his post,  nobody is obligated to follow what he posted, it is up to readers to apply his call or not.

NB
Check curio price today Lips sealed

Thank you brother.
Now over 3 USD.
Some people will scream scam and dishonesty, and miss out on the potentials.

Keep updating the thread with your pick, it is left for members to dyor before jumping in any project posted on this thread, i have known cur since they conducted their campaign here in the forum, i was part of the telegram group for sometime, i saw the determination of the team back them, curioninvest is tokenizing collectible cars and making it possible that everyone can invest in such assets, but to achieve this will take a good deal  of time, but crypto investors don't have such patient to wait for long term unfortunately.

Between am speechless seeing price today.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: March 30, 2021, 12:56:05 PM
In these times I think they should just show their selves to the public. It will increase the credibility of the project, that way also they trying to say that' hey we've shown our faces and we won't run away". That type of feeling the investors will feel they won't be left out. Many people are just afraid to invest in people they barely knew. Well it's still for those who manage to do it anonymously, I can't even think of one right now aside from bitcoin.

They already explain the reason why some of the team members decided to stay anonymous, if there will be a legal implication when their identity is revealed, it will of best interest they stay unknown, however, staying anonymous will not give the project the level of trust the project would have, many investors are not very comfortable investing on project without knowing anything about the team, i know i would be skeptical too,
Project with team profile information still manage to rug pull and exit scam much less of those who are anonymous. It is up to investors to decide to take the risk or not.
1327  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Please steal my bitcoins on: March 30, 2021, 10:25:07 AM
Hilarious! has anyone checked to see if the wallet actually contains anything or the op is just here to troll, to be honest, i have never seen where anyone wants to have their asset stolen voluntarily, it has always been the opposite, i can already tell there is nothing that will worth the effort.

1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 30, 2021, 09:33:21 AM
Not me apparently, Teslas don't come cheap, and living in a third-world country doesn't help either lmao. Although of course, this move by Tesla could potentially revolutionize the car industry yet again, introducing a new form of payment rather than the conventional cash or check. That being said, I am looking forward to what this move of Tesla has to offer for us.

Surely this is for people like Elon who can afford such amount of btc to make payment and not for you and i who are counting sat  Cheesy
the idea of using btc to make Tesla Payment is design for big organizations and companies or wealthy individuals in the society, the idea brought yet a more prestige to btc and btc holders.
1329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: March 29, 2021, 02:11:38 PM
Is it just me who find this post not making any meaningful sense,
'Why not to hodl, Why not to sell' what the fuck does that mean, do you plan to eat it raw perhaps if you find it confusing to do both! just curious Undecided

don't give yourself unnecessary headache trying to analyze the best approach to 'not to hodl, not to sell' btc and just do both or do one, it is either black or white, no in-between, either you decide to sell or hodl, you will still end up doing one among the two. That simple  Wink
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If stock market starts to crater, should we switch to BTC or USD? on: March 29, 2021, 09:51:45 AM
You know people can panic in an unusual manner, ideally if the stock market start to go down people are suppose to find solace in btc but for some wired reason you will see even the price of btc going down because some panic sellers will rather sell off,
so it is better to have it 50 - 50% or 70 -30% on stabecoin and btc depending on your preference, and if you hodl alts at this time, you don't need to be told what to do Wink
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Efforts of holding wasted on: March 29, 2021, 09:36:54 AM
People be like
Don't always sell all the coins and tokens you own because they can rise in future but I've hold so many coins since 2018 and only very few gives me 50$ to 70$  Grin today, isn't this laughable??

I be like
It's always wise to hold only very popular coins for future sake like the period we are in presently, not all altcoins will pump and give you a thousand dollar gain or more, if I've spent my time to gather top altcoins I would be in happy mood right now

See, lately i have experience similar situation but in my case i sold too quickly and now i am in great regret for selling too early, in fact, between the span of January to mid March, 3 of the project i hodl rise so high in price which made me to be a bit sad, kicking myself for not selling too early,
i should already know those project will do well, it was just a matter of time and patience but instead i did the opposite Sad
sometimes you feel you got it figure out and suddenly things will take a different turn and left you hanging.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin will be bought by new people? on: March 29, 2021, 09:27:18 AM
The first recommendation to new joiners to crypto are btc and eth since like you said already has a track record and trusted by all, now as a newbie, it will be hard to know which alts to buy alongside with the already known btc & eth, and that's when app like cmc comes into to play for those who understand how it works, and for those who don't, well asking friends who are also into crypto or ask in forum like this will gives some closure on what to do,
in any case, better to stick with some of the highly talked about alts with good potentials to be on a somewhat safe side.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: March 29, 2021, 03:26:26 AM
Why some people always have this believe that btc will crash to 'zero'    has btc given us the reason to think this way because I have been hearing this not just recently and it doesn't make sense for anyone to think this will happen in the future (even though no one can tell what the future holds)
Btc is a store of value and form of money which is the reason why many people are drawn to it, use it in place of fiat to stay anonymous and so on, if btc is seen as an alternative to fiat how then can it go to zero!

There is no need to worry too much if you are thinking long term between you can always remove your initial investment and let the rest ride on.
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Declares War on Bitcoin (?) on: March 29, 2021, 03:14:24 AM

Quote
This is always the case in China for advanced scientific and technological innovation and technological information. First of all, it holds a wait-and-see attitude and looks for opportunities to make money from it. Some powerful and powerful people with bad intentions will find ways to control it for their own use! Otherwise, you will use your power to interfere! And BTC, LTC, IFC, DOGE, these decentralized currencies, they love and hate but they can’t control it.

Never seen a country so obsessed with power and control (beg your pardon) but this is how I view their constant change of approach towards crypto or btc specifically, if this is for selfish interests only and not because of the welfare of the people, then too bad because unfortunately they can't completely achieve their goal since they can't control everything, people understand their petty game much better now.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DBC is back and high on steroids!!!!!!!!! on: March 28, 2021, 11:46:37 AM
I like the fact that they are moving from neo blockchain to Polkadot blockchain, dot is very popular now with huge community, this will be good for the DBC project,
but my concern is when will the swap go live if there will be enough information to reach everyone and if the transition will be smooth, am wondering to buy now or wait after the mainnet launch to jump in to save myself the trouble of swapping.

If you want to scoop a coin before it was discovered, You should buy now before it migrate to Polkadot blockchain. Most of the project on Polkadot ecosystem gain attention from investors and the chance for a price discovery that time will be high. But if you want to make sure, Just wait what will be the movement of the price and just ride wave.

The OP already mention that this project is not active on marketing so it means that the current price is not that fully discovered.

Any suggestion on what wallet to hold this! I can't find anything of such in their website, I wouldn't want to keep them in the exchange. Thanks.

1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins to be listed on Coinbase on: March 28, 2021, 10:27:11 AM
Following the social media channels will be the best way to keep up to date about such information, beside that,  I don't think such information will be readily available somewhere else other than from the original source, between the reason why you are asking is for you to be able to buy such token/coin before it get to coinbase and catch the big pump  Smiley
Am sure you are not the only one who has thought of such idea too.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retirement Funds Starting to Buy Bitcoins Nasdaq Say on: March 28, 2021, 05:53:57 AM
New Zealand retirement fund reportedly allocates 5% to Bitcoin
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/new-zealand-fund-manager-puts-5-of-retirement-plans-assets-into-bitcoin%3A-report-2021-03-26

We all know how much money retirement funds have, so super good they starting buying, others will follow Smiley

This should be in everyone's to do list, honestly it is the best idea than keeping them in a bank where they will not yield anything meaningful for the period they are kept,
I have also applied similar approach for my future plan, btc is for the future and what better way plan your future than to start buying btc bit by bit Cool
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now own this symbolic Charles Hoskinson NFT tweet on: March 28, 2021, 05:46:14 AM
that is, I don't know if i understood correctly to collect a tweet by charles-hoskinson transformed into nft for what purpose? does it have or will it ever have any economic value? will anyone ever pay $ 3000 for it?

You never know what some people can consider valuable and wouldn't mind paying a high price for it, turning tweet to ntf happens to be 'the-in-thing' of late, seem all the likes of cz and hoskinson has found a new trend Cheesy
Perhaps anyone who look up to this guys will be willing to buy irrespective of economic value or not.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Over the Past 300 Years, No Fiat Money Has Escaped Going to 0 on: March 28, 2021, 05:36:15 AM
Some are afraid that we will return to zero, and every year we move away from it. Over the Past 300 Years, No Fiat Money Has Escaped Going to 0
Listen https://podclips.com/c/maVy2k?ss=r&ss2=bitcoin&d=2021-03-22

The thing with currencies is that they are not connected to any commodity like gold. So once people lose trust in a fiat currency than the value will go down to 0. The same could happen to any crypto currency. But one good thing of fiat currencies is that even if the money becomes worthless there will be a new currency eventually. And the exchange rate for the new currency shouldn't be 0.

I don't the issue is about people losing trust, it is about what is available to transact with,  fiat is the universally accepted currency to trade with, and since there is no universally accepted alternative just yet, people will continue to use it whether they loss trust in it or not,

Gold can be a good alternative but it is not so available to the reach of everyone, people trust gold and place a high value to it, but it is rare and not everyone can have access to it and even the government will face challenges making it a mode of transaction.
