961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Project hacks / Rugpulls you've experienced on: July 24, 2021, 09:47:32 AM
I have recently seen Merlin Lab too rug pull and went to zero within few days, it was very ugly thing imo, I was very lucky not to invest in that project before it went down the drain, am just feeling sorry for those who invested in their lies, They were given high Apr in their platform that was already a bad sign, the amount was unusually high and looks good to be true. Investors should be careful.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i define scam project? on: July 23, 2021, 10:14:09 PM
Believe it or not, it is very difficult to point out a scam project just out of the box, yes, they may be some red flags that can give a clue if the project had the qualities of a scam or not but most times some scam project will have all the qualities of a great project but in reality it will turned out to be yet another scam project,  and as long as you are campaigning for alts project it is inevitable to join a scam project unintentionally.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to do signature campaign.? on: July 23, 2021, 10:03:26 PM
What is the purpose of this thread if you have been a member of this forums for quite some time now and don't tell me in all this time you haven't spare any moment to read about some of the activities happening in the forum, besides your account is not up to what is accepted in signature campaign,  what you should be more interested in is ranking up by contributing meaningfully to the forum the best way you know how, render a help or service to earn merit to rank up before considering joining signature.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETNA NETWORK - THE FUTURE DEFI, NFT AND GAMING ECOSYSTEM on: July 22, 2021, 01:26:36 PM
🚀🚀ETNA is a SUPER-UTILITY Token🚀🚀

So I did some additional research, looking at some top project with the aim of understanding their tokenomics and user-case.

I found out that most projects (even great ones) have 2 user-case only.

For ETNA, we have 6+ major use-case as follows:

-

It is good that ETNA has a lot of use cases, however, the implementation is usually the challenge for every project. How they can attract minters or users that will really use the platform? Also, for those NFT artists that will join their network. How many NFT artists already signed their interest to deploy their works in this platform? The features are great but sometimes it is how they market the platform to attract those potential customers.

It is all about engaging the right service, it is left for the ETNA team to engage the service of professional marketers to help market their product and also with good offers that customers are not able to resist such offers, for both miners and nft artist to pick interest on ETNA platform the offer must be robust because am sure their are several competitors out there but it all boils down to how they play their cards to win.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: List undervalued tokens or coins to load on: July 22, 2021, 01:12:26 PM
If you are looking for undervalued tokens I recommend these two LIT, IDENA.
and how do you guys store these smaller coins? as we all know most exchanges are not safe. I have lost over 15 BTC in various exchanges or trading platforms Roll Eyes

You need to get a multichain wallet that can house all the desired smaller alts you intend to buy, not ypur key not your money is an important line everyone must mastered to avoid unsolicited loss of fund, you should take a look at safepal, it has both wallet app and hardware wallet which is very secured and has a lot of functionality, the best way to get all details is to check it out, SafePal
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next bubble? NFT! on: July 21, 2021, 01:13:31 PM
Ok NFTs are nice and fun and we have seen a growth during the last months/years.
but the market has no limit, and prices are out of any logic!
I am not sure if all of these items sold for thousands and thousands of USD will have the same high value after 5-10 years.

Take as example CryptoKitties, most of them have literally no value despite were sold or created for "real" money.
Most of users have tons of kitties that have no interest or value....

What are your thoughts about NFTs?

You are correct with the above bolded statement, who really knows in the next 5 - 10 years to come what trend will be in vogue and by then if nft value will remain, increase or even drop drastically, as much as i like the new ntf trend, i don't support the idea of spending so much money on it, i think most of this nft's are just unnecessary overhyped, what they offer does not match the actual value, but some people don't seem to care, perhaps they feel those arts are priceless.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens have a future? I need 3 of them on: July 21, 2021, 12:42:45 PM
if am to settle for 3 coins with long goal i won't look any further than btc, eth, bnb, this 3 are trusted project that have survive any harsh market condition and still very much around and doing way better than before, both long or short term this coins will always put up a good performance, if you have more cash to spare, you can throw in ada, sol, and dot, i know sol and dot are more recently launched than ada but they are not short in terms of performance.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅ [ANN] Matic Network ⭐TOKENSALE OPEN NOW BINANCE ⭐ LAUNCHPAD PROJECT ✅ on: July 21, 2021, 12:18:39 PM
Polygon introduced the Polygon Studios division focused on blockchain games and the NFT ecosystem. It will promote targeted products and support developers engaged in these segments. Recently, the number of gamers in the Polygon network has exceeded 100,000

I feel we are yet to explore the vast potentials of nft and games in blockchain because this two will take a bigger part of this ecosystem as time passes, and most especially we have projects like polygon matic to create this enabling environment for such arts to happen, they are really pushing hard to create a well known brand, developers will be most excited with this new development, this is one among top projects to consider for long term basis.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot Price Down – Time To Buy DOT? on: July 20, 2021, 06:51:06 PM
Definitely something to add to the collection of good and solid coins in the wallet, polkadot is a project with many potentials up it sleeves, as time passes those potentials will gradually unravel to show the capability of this project, we shouldn't only see the price value but the potential of the tech and service to the crypto community, as the price is low, the only thing left to do is buy what you can, you never know what the future holds, the crypto ecosystem is just getting started.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 20, 2021, 05:40:51 AM
Buy and hold still the best, with $2500 is a good amount to buy btc and hold for the time duration you intended, but with that amount i doubt you can get all you need to mine btc, the most pressing part of mining is the constant usage of electricity which is inevitable in this situation, depending on what you are getting in return, i don't think it is necessary to go through all that stress, the only thing you need in holding is 'patience' it may sound simple but not very many people possess it, no need for hardware or electricity.  Smiley
971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Destroy 1,069 Bitcoin Miners With Steamroller In Malaysia on: July 20, 2021, 05:27:08 AM
Quote
Is there a legitimate motive for outright destroying mining units. Rather than auctioning or selling them. Aside from politics?

People in my country are literally stealing electricity in order to mine cryptocurrencies.
I guess that's why some governments are hostile towards cryptocurrency mining and the mining hardware.
It's better to destroy that mining hardware, instead of selling it to people, that might start stealing electricity again and mine crypto. This is the way of thinking of all the government clerks and officials.
Destroying mining equipment isn't a big deal.I hope that the equipment gets recycled, instead of being sent to the trash and contributing to environment pollution. After all, everybody wants crypto mining to be clean and safe.

Makes sense, if anyone going to mine btc genuinely with a fully paid electricity without cutting corners, they will most probably run at loss because of the high electricity cost in some countries, using an illegal means to mine btc is definitely a crime that is punishable by the law, government are at the receiving end with their actions because their electricity usage for mining most be running in thousands or millions depending on the countries currency that are unpaid for for, if they are not ready to own up to their responsibilities as miners i guess they left the government no choice than to be hostile.

973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x coin after bnb and after eth on: July 15, 2021, 10:59:40 AM
I had to hide from my wife because I fell in love with Vulcan Forged $PYR, I got it very soon, it was fun to wait.  An online gaming platform can disrupt, change the video game industry.  Not only for investment, can play games to earn Lava, earn PYR, stake... I expect it to have a successful launch party on July 25th and better if next 1-3 years it will make me  early retirement.  Lol

Am also thinking to invest or not on vulcan Forge (undecided yet), you know one have to be extremely careful when it comes to alts and most especially defi related project investment,  I don't know what the team long term goal plans are, it is one thing to have to on their road map and quite another to adhere to them and fulfil them, lately defi projects are prone to getting hacked or rug pull, so am a bit skeptic, I may do some more digging into the project.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 15, 2021, 06:16:22 AM
And it is very disheartening to see that the faith of btc price lies in the hands of few rather than majority, this is a decentralize space but more or less operate like a centralize environment,  why should Elon Musk meeting on 22nd determine were price should go next! This shouldn't be but unfortunately this seem to be the reality,  many crypto followers base their decision on top players like Musk, hence panic sellers Roll Eyes
975  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: July 15, 2021, 05:08:37 AM
There is a similar question i come across about asking like this.

i think it is Legendster ? but there are many answers and some are good to deal with.

the question is how much hours are you referring here?

You should put more effort in understanding a question or reading the topic before responding,  even without opening the thread the topic head already carried enough information that explains the hour @op is referring to, he wants to earn $1 per hour which is boldly written,
Between @op am not familiar with much of this sites but I could seel some few suggestions above on surveys maybe you should take a look and find what suit you, be sure you have to put more effort to earn up a dollar an hour if ever you find such platform.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 15, 2021, 05:00:15 AM
According to the present market scenario, several good currencies, such as XRP, TRX, and others, are decreasing due to various causes.I recommend investing at least $10,000 in XRP, TRX, and other similar currencies, since these coins will soon yield a significant profit margin.

Each to their opinion but to me it is a big NO to invest such amount on the two aforementioned project, not that they are not good to invest in, only there are better options out so why settle for less! Let's even rule out btc and eth since are already expensive,  there are options like ada, matic, sol and some couple of other good ones for long term, but since am no expert I may have missed the real picture here why this two are considered to be good investment.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT blockchain on: July 14, 2021, 03:03:01 PM
Just create an NFT, itll cost you 500$ in gas and then you call sell it.  its just an ETH contract.  selling art makes no sense with NFT.  unless you sell the rights to the said art.  why buy a god damn jpg who knows

Because some people have taste differently, to you it may appear unreasonable but to others who have much love for art would not mind how much it cost, i would rather buy an art from the exhibition than to buy an nft imo, with real art much effort has been put in making it hence will have much value, just my perrsonal opinion.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: False of assumption are killer, Bye Family Shiba on: July 14, 2021, 02:35:36 PM
It is a decentralize space so anyone is free to do copy paste without putting any serious effort, it is left for investors to take such project serious or not, you should know that such project was not created with the long term vision in mind, they are mostly for quick gains only, if you fail to recognize this you will get rekt before even realizing it. it is always better not to get involved.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BabyDogeCoin] I got it ripped off my BabyDoge, I need help on: July 14, 2021, 02:24:38 PM
Your address continues to buy BABYDOGE and I think such messages should be deleted, shame on you.

Maybe he haven't learnt his lesson just yet or just trying to get sympathy from community members for nothing, the whole story already sound suspicious imo, how can someone boldly gamble with his children's school fees without thinking about the consequence, it is highly unlikely for someone to disregard the future of his kids, investment is good but not at the expense of your kids future.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 08:52:26 AM
Yeah i heard Singapore is very crypto friendly, but the difference why everyone is looking at El savador is the simple fact that they openly declare btc as legal tender of the country, it is an open declaration which has been recognized by government from other part of the country, it also attracts many headlines, this is the reason why El savador is the center of attraction at the moment,
perhaps if Singapore will also take the initiative and publicly accepting btc as legal tender then the focus will be on them as well, already Singapore is doing a great job in the crypto space and most project have location there it seems.
