1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: June 03, 2021, 06:39:20 PM
OP I would say you got what you deserve,  knowing fully well this is a btc forum yet you still have the audacity to bad mouth btc in the main territory  Cheesy an sure you have had and ear full, nobody will support you on your petty talk, if you value eth so much then go to ethereum forum and shout it out loud (if they have any  Wink )  don't make irrelevant noise here.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: The Downfall of TSLA on: June 02, 2021, 03:24:22 AM
The fact TSLA is valued more then all the auto manufactures combined is absurd. You're naive to think big auto is just going to sit on the sidelines. Big auto has the infrastructure and production lines to mass produce fully electric vehicles for a fraction of the cost of a TSLA, something TSLA will never be able do. Ford is already leading the charge with the F-150 Lightning and converting old factories into fully electric vehicle production plants. TSLA is just as overhyped as Elon Musk.

Well until big auto actually step up the game, TSLA will remain at the top however sad,  between Musk is too egocentric to really care about what other big auto are cooking, his overhyped company in your word is making him money,  enough to cause Chaos in the crypto space, he has the people's attention,  just a mare tweet from him causing a lot of havoc,  the guy must be having fun at others expense, it sucks in every way  Grin
Looking forward to see another big auto company kicking Tesla aside  Wink
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone else find Michael Saylor a bit over-the-top? on: June 02, 2021, 03:12:41 AM
He is entitled to his opinion, regardless it doesn't stop the growing of alts, agreed there are thousands of not worthy alts in the market but there are some reasonable few that actually has something to contribute to the crypto space and make it a lot better and fun, he is a btc maximalist and may never be swayed into believing in what some alts has to contribute to the space.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 02, 2021, 03:05:16 AM
As an additional option for payment I most certainly think yes but as an adopted global payment it is highly unlikely, however,  the future remains the future,  it is impossible to know what will happen but certain things that are happening now can help us imagine what the future may look like, right now the majority who owns btc only have it as an asset for investment to make money more than as a payment means.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you were new to Bitcoin and given £10 Bitcoin For Free on: June 02, 2021, 02:56:41 AM
Force to hold, £10 worth of btc is relatively small, the idea of selling will be cut short when you see the fees to transact, and being a newbie makes it even more difficult because you will confuse, so as a newbie I would look for a way to buy a little more to what I receive as gift, assuming I have a little crypto knowledge.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x coin after bnb and after eth on: May 31, 2021, 05:17:30 PM
What is the next 100x coin that you would like to bet as little as $10 and gain as much as $1000?
Don’t tell me there isn’t anything that can make you filthy rich, you just need to look deeper.
Do you think DeFi or NFT would be next 100x?

Bro at this current market condition it will be hard to tell you this, why don't you take a look at all the upcoming defi project and make your own conclusion,  bnb and eth didn't 100x in a month, it took some years before reaching this price, and not all those who bought bnb or eth at ico where able to hold to enjoy this 100x you are looking at,
If you want to see such gain you must be ready to be patient.
1087  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: May 31, 2021, 05:12:05 PM
Despite the big drop, bitcoin has now $667B in its market cap. But nevertheless, it's still one of the quickest and best asset that we've got in our time.

People who have been looking to the recent drop of bitcoin and starts to speculate negatively about it, don't really look from where bitcoin started and how it had conquered all of those negative and bearish days.

Anytime the price of btc drop like this, market sentiments will kick in, some people have very little faith and too pessimistic to have the courage to hodl,
Some of us should already understand how the market operates, price can not stay up for too long neither will it stay down for ever,  this is what separate long term hodlers from quick profit takers.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: May 31, 2021, 05:06:40 PM
I don't have any means of income besides this signature campaign and my investments that are currently on red but the good thing is that there isn't that much expense in my house and I have my parents provide the money since I am a still a student.

You might be able to increase other income from mining or YouTube, and if you are still a student don't forget to learn and luckily you can take advantage of your spare time to join a bounty hunter and also invest in cryptocurrency, rather than spending time playing games.

And you think mining is cheap! Between what coin would you recommend for him to mine that will bring profit for him,
Since he is already into doing campaigns and also invested in some projects it is good, even though the market is down and investment is red for now don't mean it will stay this way for long, patience is required to get past this stage, just keep promoting good project through campaigns for extra income.
1089  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC - concern if been through a mixer? on: May 30, 2021, 05:37:36 PM
I would not have thought of this, although I only buy directly from exchange, still I find  this very important topic, assuming this exchanges are into checking every btc transacted that must be a tedious work on their part, I know platforms like bisq and localbitcoins have many users and most likely this users are trading their btc on centralized exchange as well, this won't be easy for them.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: American convenience store chain now accepts btc, etc, litecoin dogecoin payment on: May 30, 2021, 03:39:03 PM
Quote
Cryptocurrencies that will be accepted by the convenience store chain include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE), among others.

America keeps growing in the list of countries that have adopted cryptocurrency. It is more open to freedom to living and every aspect that will guarantee comfort.

My focus however is dogecoin that is also now added in the list of cryptocurrencies. Dogecoin to some looks like a new comer in cryptocurrencies but it has been around and just recently gaining some recognition and importance even when some crypto family have not given the coin chance, it has done great in light of those critism as we know.

So particularly about dogecoin, what do you guys think can happen to dogecoin if it continues getting this kind of listing in crypto payment.

cointelegraph

Absolutely, it is surprising how the number keeps growing over there, it seems btc adoption in the USA is really growing faster which is good, hopefully soon USA restrictions on the citizens to invest in crypto will ease a bit and project won't have to exempt USA citizens from taking part in sales,
As for dogecoin, I feel soon more businesses will start accepting it, they already gain much recognition with the help of Elon, this is what we will probably be seeing.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Crypto Youtuber Tier List on: May 30, 2021, 02:47:53 PM
Can you explain what do you mean by shills? As far as I can remember, Coin bureau also talks about some coins in some videos, including their potential etc. I think that can be considered as shill, but probably not paid shilling.

Like you already heard, he doesn't shill any project because he was offered money to do so even if the project is not worth the praise,
Not all youtubers shill for money, some do so because they find the project good enough and want their followers to benefit from it as well, however a good number are paid to shill though.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: May 29, 2021, 03:59:28 PM
I think we are missing something here, at the time op made this post btc price was probably below 30k am assuming not sure but since then when btc hit ath above 60k did the op visit this thread back to acknowledge his short-sightedness about btc and the whole market movement,  I don't think so, same thing is happening again now, many people just making thread about btc dying because of a price dump that we should be familiar with by now.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC ride is over! on: May 29, 2021, 01:38:27 PM
Yep, I think the bitcoin ride is nearing an end now. China was the straw that broke the camel's back

Yes, it's finished. It will go down to 0. It will die for the 1000th time. Better sell everything now and let the diamond hands have it. Because you have weak hands it's obvious.

But don't come back later crying here.

Hilarious,  people are too sentiment with this fall as if they are just witnessing btc fall for the first time, once there is a crash in the market, some people will assume the end of btc has come only for them to come back later and start crying for not buying the dip, such funny characters.  Grin
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Famous Crypto Person warned of Bitcoin crash in Tweet to Elon Musk on: May 29, 2021, 01:29:43 PM
In essence this guy is an all rounder, I thought his knowledge is only limited to crypto but from all the other great stuff you posting it seem this dude needs to be a great asset to the government, if he knows this much and this intelligent he should be in a place where his service will be more appreciated,  Lips sealed
I hope he will predict the next ath of btc after the fall, am more concerned about the recovery and not the crash because that already happening  Cool
1095  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 02:12:04 PM
"Asperger syndrome" that explains the wired sense of humour,
One minute Elon is sure about accepting btc to buy Tesla, next minute he is concerned about the environment,  and few hours later,  he is conducting a poll about dogecoin to be accepted,  what an individual, hope there is a cure to this or he can limit his activeness on social media to avoid conflicting and dangerous tweets. Sad
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Horrible day in History of Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 01:58:16 PM
some people cry 'crash'

smart people applaud 'discount buy day'

..anyone crying at $54k that they missed the chance to buy in cheap. should be buying in now and take the oppertunity.

i have hoarded for years and even im not upset. instead i found some spare fiat and bought more.
i dont need more. but even a 30%+ discount cant be ignored

You will be surprise those people will not buy a single sat, rather they spend time worrying about the dip instead of taking advantage of it, the next time btc price surge and hit new ath, they will appear with same old question "is it too late to buy in" this is an opportunity right in front of us, nobody thought btc will go this low so sudden.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Can Shut Down Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 01:49:47 PM
Restriction is different from ban, government have been trying so hard to ban btc and they couldn't so they have resulted to restricting citizens from accessing btc, even so they are not very successful  in this attempt, cz is right, it is not possible to a single or more than one entity to shut btc down completely, and that is the power btc have over other assets.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about Torra Bounty manager? on: May 27, 2021, 01:27:36 PM
And am just hearing this name as bm for the first time, maybe because I haven't pay much attention, although I can remember the ideology project, didn't take note of the bm, anyways,  being a good and trusted bm requires hardwork and dedication, and most of all be very observant and selective of the project to promote in other not to promote a scam project, because that can taint his trust rating as well as render hunters a work without pay situation,
Since I have not took part in any of his campaigns I don't have much to say about him, only those who have worked with him can testify.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: May 27, 2021, 01:13:31 PM
@op why you think things are over! Because market is down now makes things to be over, you want to sell go ahead, hope you know that even in bear market futures traders are still making profits as long as you understand the market as well as the risk involved, some people can bare to see market down before they assume the worst has come.
1100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: May 27, 2021, 11:10:11 AM
Why many high ranks not optimistic about the possibility of the next pump in Bitcoin? You guys already give up and conclude the bearish has been coming? It is a correction in crypto prices, Bitcoin also experienced it. It is impossible if Bitcoin price always increases without a correction. We have experienced many times a big correction this year. But the prices always come back to grow again. If you are pessimistic, just sell all your coins or keep them on hard wallets, then you are better offline.

Being optimistic has nothing to do with rank you see, it all depends on individual believe and their strong will towards the market, some people are easily swayed by circumstance while others are not, ideally anyone who already been in crypto more than 4 years should not be too worried with the bear market but unfortunately as humans we can't help but worried when the market is down. It is a natural feeling.
