1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepared for the big and long dump this year. on: April 06, 2021, 02:13:52 PM
snip

well lets make Scenarios in which what we think will happen to These Major Altcoins.

1- Ethereum -  Will try hard to Reach $2k but i don't think this has the capacity to reach at least 1,800 before falling back again to Below 1k$

2 -XRP - Still In floating status , if they made it through with the case ? then the chance of growing is there  but if not ? then total fall will come because for sure the US government will Sequester and Hold all the existing currency for Keeping.

3- DOT - Sorry But i really don't believe in this Platform , I'm still believe that this will fade soon and will surely dump hard within this year.

I can't help but make a qoute of this post, according to the @op eth don't have the capacity to reach $2000, misteriously as i type eth is currently trading at $2,102.93 which is definately above $2k, and eth falling back to $1k, perhaps that will happen in the future who knows, howeve, going by what the majority are saying about the upcoming alts season, there is high probability eth will surpase current price by good margin,

And speaking of xrp, the wonder project, lol, right now xrp is few numbers away fro $1, $0.95 to be precise, who ever thought this coin will see another rise in price after all their shenanigans with the SEC, it seems this coin is stronger than what people give it credit for, i bet @op will agree with me  Cheesy

Dot, @op beleives this is a bubble that will soon fade away, well so far so good, dot has been performing tremendously, many new project on polkadot blockchain, even though i can't seem to understand why the op think otherwise (of course we are each entitled to our opinion) but i believe dot is just getting started, just like i believe the dump of this time won't be as hard as it was few years back.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt season NOw on: April 06, 2021, 08:22:42 AM
A lot of people just follow the hype on the coins they see pumping up. but most of them only followed for a while and when they entered some were trapped by the correction that occurred.
My advice in the season like now is not that good following the hype going on in the market. it would be better to just focus on altcoins in the top market. it can save us from the correction trap.
and most importantly do not panic easily because the current altcoins season I am sure will still last quite a long time.

You snooz you lose, hope you understand that, this is the alts season in essence everyone would like to have a piece of the pie, you don't want to miss out on this season and find yourself in th bear season without taking advantage of the this season while you still be part of it,
The only thing you should'nt be part of is chase pump and dump, invest in great project and watch this alt season do wonders with your investment, only invest in potential project.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: April 06, 2021, 08:12:15 AM
well, an unexpected move from XRP. I honestly think that XRP can no longer grow. however, right now, seeing the price tag literally reaching $ 1 makes me think that this coin is still very much worth taking into account. even when it was in trouble with the SEC, it still remained in the top 10 on the CMC. well, I will probably rethink owning this coin.

Am also stuned to see this unexpected pump, how would have thought in the midst of legal battle that xrp will be able to perform this much, what am not really clear with is the situation of the legal battle, has xrp been set free of all charges or the issue yet to be resolved? (didn't follow up with updates), that been said, am trilled to see xrp back on its feet, those who have the courage to buy and hold on to it would be very pleased with their decission.
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: April 05, 2021, 12:08:34 PM
Governments all around the World Secretly start using together with banks the bitcoins.
Oil is done so They replace bitcoin instead of oil.

The btc volatility might go like daily 50k-100k price Changes.

Bitcoin will be instutionalized permanently.
The Global market prices Liqutation postion will be fluctuated by Bitcoin price.

I said this before but nobody didnt listen but now its here!!

The problem is you don't fully know the meaning of replace and you use the word wrongly in your post,
I doubt you understand what you mean when you say btc will replace oil and Gold,  perhaps you mean the price of btc will be more higher than that of oil and gold, that is unarguably fact, btc is very pricy now because people place higher price on it, the price is speculative rather than actual value,

If fiat value is taken away from btc and it is not peg to any fiat, nothing to speculate about and nothing to manipulate,  no price pump and so on,  your story will definitely change,  all this talk about btc replacing gold, silver and oil is because there is a fiat value attached to btc which every upcoming analyst  Wink can measure against other items. But reality is different.
1305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2021, 03:47:25 AM
~
Seems like Gold may be taken out by Bitcoin in a few short years.

Thoughts?

When you can really think deep about Gold and what it can be physical used for and btc what it can be physically used for,    then you can determine when exactly Gold will be taken out by btc,
Am no fortune teller but I really doubt btc will be taking out Gold in the future except of course there will be physical Gold coins representing btc (in which case the presence of Gold still is required) or suddenly there won't be any Gold related commodities in the market  Wink (or perhaps melt some btc for that purpose)
In fact, it sound absurd to me. Stop measuring this two monetarily.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paris Hilton has joined Bitcoin’s “laser eyes to $100,000” on: April 05, 2021, 03:32:04 AM
If the memes can reach more people and give more positive image for bitcoin, I think that we should go with it. In this case though, Paris is past her prime of being the talk of the town, people has already moved on in regards to her sex tape but there will still be a lot of people that is following her and if I recall she is also an heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune so that means that she can get in anytime she wants because she has the money to do so and their hotel accepting bitcoin is also a possibility. BTW, any picture with laser eyes makes me laugh my ass out for real.

I don't believe what am reading, is there any need to quantify her status in life and public! The unsatisfactory nature of man is just mind blowing, if she is interested in a project, she must have done that from a personal interest not because she is in her prime or have millions of followers who will support it as well,
I believe every support is relevant irrespective of what prime it is or how many followers there is.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: April 05, 2021, 03:16:07 AM
Why do people care who Satoshi Nakamoto is/was? It's like wondering the name of the person that created the wheel. Sure, I suppose I would be curious about the name of the inventor of the wheel, if nothing else to raise a beer to them from time to time, but ultimately the wheel is the important part of the story.

You already said it 'curiosity' making people  want to know the genius mind behind the great technology right in front of them, btc is not just your average invention (appreciate other inventions as well) it is way beyond that, many people have come to realise the uniqueness of it and are giving their support on a daily basis,
It is very natural for people to want to know, I wouldn't mind to know too, I mean it is the same thing most investors would do before supporting any project right?.
But in this case, btc has gain such huge amount of trust that nearly everyone don't bother about the person/people behind the masterpiece.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 04, 2021, 08:31:47 AM
Sadly most people invest in bitcoin to make some quick profit. They think crypto currencies will make them rich overnight. But that is not the truth and some faces this realty harshly. They look for coins that are getting pumped and invest in those. In the end, the lose everything once they get greedy. According to you, it's created to make you free. But "free" from what?
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

your thoughts?
My thoughts? Bitcoin is not like it was supposed to be. Returning power back? I don't see any "powers" being returned back. Look at all those regulations and strict policies that is slowly bringing bitcoin under the indirect control of the government.

Talking about making some people rich overnight, the true meaning of that would be making people rich at shortest possible time than any other investment would within that time frame,
Btc gives financial freedom, it is suppose to give financial freedom if you take away all the regulations that have been forcefully implemented in it thanks to adoption (an inevitable circumstance)
Actually I also don't think btc is returning power, at least not the way it should be, because right now the most percentage of btc is owned by the elite or the wealthy and that don't seem like returning power to the people.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 04, 2021, 06:35:58 AM
Well, merchants still receive fiat, cash instead of bitcoin in their wallets. To me, that does not determine the good sign but we have to agree to disagree. At least PayPal is doing something for the cryptocurrency although their activities seem to increase benefits for themselves

This might be the first step toward full adoption of PayPal toward bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The progress may be just at the beginning but we can hope to see many advanced features and addons while PayPal tries to develop its ecosystem. And I am waiting for more cryptocurrency to be accepted on their platform

One step at a time, Rome was not built in a day,  merchants may not be receiving btc directly right now but who knows what will happen next, since the time PayPal made the announcement of including crypto to their services they have made several adjustment and updates since then, I guess they like to take things one step at a time and observe how users react to those services,
I believe with time that will be included and merchants can receive btc directly just as they receive fiat.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A fake app in apple app store stole his life savings in bitcoin on: April 04, 2021, 06:27:53 AM
Nothing new this is why we have Scam Accusations boards and more to keep awareness to the other member also to the people about the fake application this is the reason why other people give a bad image to the bitcoin or in other coins because of that application which is not a legit or reliable only thing they do is to scam mostly the beginners. To make sure it's safe it's better to research the application and double-check if this is the legit one else report immediately so google or another app store will remove this app. Also, check the developer if the same as the original. AFAIK Apple has better application security than the other brands because they focus on the security for their users.

Yeah but the op or whoever was the victim can't exactly accused anyone since this an app he/she installed on his own accord,
Perhaps he can accuse the dev of the app or Apple for negligence and allowing fake app to be listed on the App store, I doubt if this will generate a positive feedback,
I would believe that downloading an app from any App store should be a lot more secured than downloading from online, this apps should have gone through the necessary security checks before approval to be listed on the App store,  but somehow fake apps still manage to find their way in, very sad.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 04, 2021, 06:17:10 AM
I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.

Count yourself among the early adopters still, right now in 2021 there are many people who are just finding out and joining and many more haven't even find out yet, maybe it will take them another 3 to 5 years to be part of this space,
I sometimes also imagine what it would have been like if I had known about btc in 2009, would I have taken the bold step and accumulate some or would I have just ignore and let a good opportunity pass by! I guess I would never know the answer.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which NFTs are worth the investment? on: April 03, 2021, 01:39:50 PM
Enjin Market Place has a lot of in-games nft items for sell that will also appreciate in value overtime, I found this Market place very useful to pick up some in-games items when necessary, I also have some collectibles I have been holding since 2019 but now that nft seems to be the hottest trend I guess I can still hold on to them for a more juicy price.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2021, 05:47:04 AM
there is always difference of opinion everywhere, there is no reason to single out the religions.<snip>
Even in Christendom they were against this internet money and not only just single down to the Muslim only, but we were also told about the beast and it mark 666 in Revelation 13:16-18, so,” I think the truth is, it is still too early to be dogmatic”.

"Too early to be dogmatic" are you indirectly or directly saying this religious leaders won't have a change of mind at some point!
It is one thing to be open minded and another to try and disregard others views and believes just because they don't go alongside yours,
This is a new technology that perhaps both religious are finding it difficult to put a better explanation to, I think it is too early to be judgemental.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flipkart accepting Bitcoin payments?April fools day tweet 😄 on: April 03, 2021, 05:32:10 AM
This is the time for them to be part of the revolution of digital payment instead of making jokes, they should emulate other gaint companies who saw the future early and take action,
I hope they had a nice laugh with their joke tweet while the market get ready for the next level price movement  Cool
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: April 03, 2021, 05:25:13 AM
Institution buy btc and hold, 'it is a risk' individuals buy btc and hold, 'it is a risk'  (whales and the likes) which means this is an inevitable case which the btc community must have to accept,
it is already too late to expect even distribution, there is always going to be some party having a larger share of the supply than others,
This can't be balance, if we want Institutional investors to be part of the space then this is some of the consequences of their involvement I presume.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 02, 2021, 04:35:50 PM
Bounty Hunters Don't Read

This thread Explains it

Quote
However, won't be surprised to see another application below  Roll Eyes lol

They refuse to read the thread very well and understand the rules

They are very much in a haste to earn and that is why they earn up being scammed.

They sheepishly follow existing application

They refuse to doubt when it sounds too good to be true

***** Just imagine application kept coming in, in an April Fool's Thread.
Are these applications from bots...

Maybe if it was not posted on April who knows even you will fall for it Wink,   i won't denial the fact that many hunters don't read, they are more into taken action before reading (that's for those who later care to read) while many will participate in a campaign till ending they never read the rules guiding the campaign, it is definitely irritating sometimes when some hunters keeping asking certain questions which they can easily find on the bounty thread if they had spare a minute to read.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO becoming main in decentralization on: April 02, 2021, 06:24:22 AM
As per the views.

Now Binance CZ have

- Most traded Exchange
- Smart chain
- Wallets
- 3rd Best Crypto - BNB

So he can influence more and more to crypto space. One day he can centralize these system. Whats your view about this

It will be better to stop insinuating what you have no knowledge of, cz is a business man and he knows the ropes on making a good business, I don't think he will want to sabotage his own effort he has spent years building, what should be the next plan is bringing in new stakeholders into the company,  not thinking low.
I don't know why some people are too concerned about what cz will do, Binance is a centralized system already you and I know that, so there is no point repeating the very obvious.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the institutional coin on: April 02, 2021, 06:12:31 AM
I see bitcoin becoming an institutional coin in the nearest future. institutions are beginning to buy bitcoins in billions of dollars. this will automatically reduce the amount of bitcoin in circulation thereby forcing up bitcoin price.

You are not far from the truth, lately the institutions have shown much interest on btc than previous years, and from the way it has already started,  there is high probability that more institutions will show more interest to be part of the space as we progress into the future,
And this moves will also play a significant role in the price aspect, institutions will most likely acquire btc as a store of value and not for market manipulation like what most big whales does.
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 02, 2021, 06:00:29 AM
How can you make a movie about someone who nobody knows anything about?
All we have about are a bunch of emails,  bitcointalk posts  and so on.

Nobody know if he was an individual or a group of people.

I guess a movie could be about hal Finney or someone else who is known, and who interacted with him online.

Or a very talented writer could make something entirelydifferent

Very good question, the way the op analyse the move procedure it almost seem like he knows one or two thing about satoshi that the rest of us don't,
Before anything like this can happen, there must be some proper information about the person/people but in this case there is like zero information about satoshi and his/her/they life style,
Between what makes op think Keanu Revees would agree to play the role of an anonymous fella  Cheesy

Satoshi is a genius, so if you are going to make a biography about him/her/they, you might as well make it count, not half info for a biography of such magnitude.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Top Crypto Picks for April? on: April 01, 2021, 01:52:46 PM
I still pick those old coins like trx, bnb but to add  some I'd pick CAKE, NFT and KLAY.

Those who performed well lately has a greater chance of passively growing again. It also significant to look at their trading volume and their project's recent developments. You choose them not just because of their popular trend but because they have a good crypto market purposes.

It seems this April is for trx, just check through price and saw trx is pumping nicely which is long over due if you ask me, i mean since the begining of 2021 trx have not really experience any serious pump like what is happeining right now, unfortunately i don't hold any trx but still feels good to see good old trx picking up the pace like many coins have been doing since January.
