1941  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the validity of a mixed economy system? on: August 26, 2021, 12:22:05 PM
I don't think there is an economy which is purely capitalist or socialist or whatever. I guess every economy has a certain level of hybridity. The US, for example, is a highly capitalist country but it doesn't mean the state is completely hands-off from the country's affairs involving what is supposed to be a free market. China, on the other hand, is considered a socialist country and yet it also doesn't mean the country does not allow private capitalists.
True, I can't think of a country that is purely capitalist or socialist, except for North Korea. Last time I watch the documentary, people there still rely on government to provide them with jobs, shelter, clothes, etc. I think private property doesn't exist there CMIIW.

As for modern countries, they incorporate the socialist program into basically a capitalistic society. Social security, healthcare, pension, etc., managed by government funded by taxes.

But what I don't understand is how come the casino took back your winnings ?
Did the casino cheat you by taking the money back or did you willingly gambled more and lost ?
No man, that's not what He meant..
He played again on FP2, but this time He lost as much as He had won before Cheesy
Yeah, when you have more playing money, the appetite to cash out suddenly disappears. It feels that 4x or 5x of your current deposit is not enough. Gambling is a game of greed for sure. You can preach don't be greed, but in reality, it's so difficult to be less greedy Grin

Anyway, FP2 is a great game, but it could punish you badly if you are out of luck. Recently, Pragmatic games are dominated by high volatility games. I miss their medium and medium-high games such as 5 Lions Series, Caishen Series, Rhinos, etc. What do you think about these games?
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 25, 2021, 04:42:43 PM
It's too early to say about where Roma will end in this season.
I'll say it, at least top three Grin
I think Mourinho works best with this kind of team, solid teamwork, without popular star players = no drama.
The last two teams he coached just had too much ego, this one I think will work.

Inter lost Lukaku, Juve lost Ronaldo, I think Roma has good chance to beat them :v

we know in the fun mode we can't use the buy feature option on Pragmatic
Master, you can buy feature in fun mode if you play directly on Pragmatic's website: https://www.pragmaticplay.com/en/
How to activate this cheap spins (play with IDR) master? I'm interested...

Woah, that's somehow sad on your end there mu, take some rest mate. Does that mean your winnings was the one been depleted or there are other balances involved?
Only the winnings, since I don't have complete control of my finance, lol
If I can freely do deposit without my wife poking me, I'd definitely lost more money.

I wonder on what slot provider you got that 2500x win? The thing is if it was gone in minutes/hours only then that's regrettable, I feel it somehow.
Fruit Party 2, try it mate, maybe you can get back what I lost Grin *disclaimer, not a gambling advice*

I can confirm this, the minimum wage in my country is around 10 USD
$10 daily or hourly?

I managed to increase my balance from $200 to around $3500
Teach me master!
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 25, 2021, 01:46:53 PM
Pacquiao said he had cramps
Please let Mr. Pacman retire in peace. He lost his speed already. That should be the end of his career. Surely Ugas isn't a problem for Pacman in his prime, but this old Pacman shouldn't fight again, except for an exhibition match with the likes of Logan/Jake Paul.

Looking back at the odds, this match should be easy money. Too bad I didn't place any bet.
1947  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: August 25, 2021, 12:05:12 PM
After the epic win 2,500x, as predicted, the casino takes back my winnings. That's what high volatility looks like, you win big, you lose big, all happened in a short period of time. No luck as well for the contests. Sad, really sad...

Pragmatic's high volatility slots really aggressive, unlike PnG which is rather "calm."
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone explain these gambling questions? (Client Seed & RTP) on: August 24, 2021, 08:19:29 PM
So the RNG generates numbers to correspond to the symbols on the reel of the slot machine and that ..combined with the Slots RTP will determine if you win or not? (So in theory RNG + RTP + Client Seed + Server Seed = outcome) ?

That is a massive amount of calculations to be done in a split second, before each bet result are shown.  Roll Eyes

Who determines what the RTP will be for every Slot in a casino? Do the provider and the Casino negotiate this before they "rent" the use of the Slot .. or is the RTP fixed for every Slot when it is developed? (In short... can the Casino and Slot provider ...alter or re-configure the RTP for these Slots)?
You cannot mix concept of hash games and mainstream RNG slots. If about hash games Stake's explanation somewhere in help section (for example) should be clear enough how they calculate those hash.

However, for both, the symbol is only a representation of the number calculated either from hashes or RNG. Basically, when you click the spin button, the system will calculate the number, and then show the symbols. That's why you can see the result before the animation end, thus to solve this, the casino shows "in play" text instead of your balance. It's not fun if you peek the result before the animation end.

The developer PnG, Pragmatic, etc., set the RTP, but some of them have more than one variant RTP for one title. For example Pragmatic and NoLimit City have ~94% and ~96% RTP variant. The casino pick which variant they want to use. PnG, however, can have custom RTP set from the config (and the casino set this AFAIK).

There is another market on Polygon network: https://venly.market/
You can use BSC as well.

There is also market on BSC network: https://www.bakeryswap.org/ and wax network: https://wax.atomichub.io/
But I guess opensea is still the most popular NFT market.

*maaf baginda @roycilik atas contekannya.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone explain these gambling questions? (Client Seed & RTP) on: August 24, 2021, 02:28:20 PM
When a Slot provider configure the RTP for a Slot to say 95%
RTP is specific for one game/title, thus affect all players playing in a particular game. Let's say Salty Bonanza has 95% RTP.

a player is supposed to get back 95% of their wagering.. right?
No, it's no fun if that's the case. A Salty Bonanza player can have 200% RTP or more in one playing session, depend on his luck. In slots world, we call it "live RTP."
The 95% is "theoretical RTP."

or is the RTP a pool of players that are playing that specific Slot? .....and the pool of 95% wagered are distributed to the players playing that Slot?
It's not the most accurate explanation, but you can say it like that.
The more valid explanation would be the machine (a particular game title) designed to give 95% back to the players if we assume infinite (or a very large number of) spins.
There's no actual pool since online slots are based on RNG, thus even if the title is just released, you can hit jackpot if the RNG God blesses you.

(or does the pool consist of all the money that are wagered at all the games that are offered by that specific Slot provider) ?
(1) Theoretical RTP is specific to one particular game, (2) There's no pool.
The more valid question would be if they use the same RNG server, for all games, for all traffic? If yes, then the provider "pooled" all players' result in one server.

1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really that hard to make ethereum faster and cheaper? on: August 23, 2021, 11:33:27 PM
The problem is they designed a bicycle and want to change it to become a motorbike. They can't just change the system design so radically and expect no problem. Migrating from PoW to PoS and then sharding, is so radical, that even if it works, there must be a lot of bugs waiting for them.
1956  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: August 23, 2021, 11:24:14 PM
Yea, FJ is a "KYC casino," it's pretty obvious with the type of bonus/promotion they offered. Majestic 7, Bonus appetit, etc., come at a cost. I don't have a problem with this type of casino, but I don't really like when the KYC procedure is forced when withdrawal. It should be done before deposit, so if KYC failed, users cannot deposit. This is to prevent problem arises from failed/pending withdrawal.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 23, 2021, 11:07:20 PM
I know only little about UK, but my common sense says they (gambling venues) aren't specifically targeting the poor. Yes, it can be related to more expensive rent, and overall cost, or the acceptance of local community since the rich want privacy, comfort, safety, which can be disrupted by gambling operation especially if it's a residential area. I think in rich business areas, there should be present gambling venues.

Based on your experience while playing in slots, is the probability of winning measurable?
It depends on the definition of "winning," if it's max-win the help section of some provider states the probability of getting a max-win. Let's say 1/1,000,000 spins (one in a million). But, it doesn't mean that you will definitely get a max-win if you spin 1 million times. It's only on average after x billion simulation. That said, you can get a max-win even with one spin and get none even after one million spins.

I think we can't calculate winning (if you mean profit) probability without knowing the math inside the slots software, and how many spins you want to do. I only know that more people are losing than winning.

I was taught by a friend of mine, even in the competition it is not always possible to cover the losses suffered by the players, so I have to be wise to take steps.  Is it really like that?
Yes, if you are often unlucky (like me). I think this week alone I burned more than $200 without getting any good result. So -$200 for me this week, so the worst scenario for me.

So do you think every player who plays slots will end up just losing a lot of their money?
Nope, it is based on your LUCK, and some dudes are luckier than other.

He thinks the same as I do. That slots are EV-games and therefore people who play they lose in the long run, even though in the short run they may win a jackpot or have a winning streak.
You know that's only in theory (and on average), right? Like in theory, your chance to win lottery is slim, slimmer than getting struck by lightning, EV- for sure in the long run. But for those who are lucky, they win and get EV+++.

It overwhelms me how this thread can have 25 pages of supposed "strategies" to win with slots when it is a game that mathematically gives you less money than you bet.
Please read the content first before commenting, that should be the golden rule of this forum. There are no 25 pages of strategy here, but this thread is for slots players to share their experience, bragging their winning, informing contests, discussing their favorite games, etc.

And what is the strategy for, then?
Please, read the content first.

Well, there is no "strategy" per se for this one click spin and pure luck-based game. However, you can use several playing styles for various scenarios you may encounter in this game.
Let's say you deposit $100 and want to play slots. "Strategy" here is just to give you some scenario on how to play the game.
You can do $20 x 5 spins -> not a good strategy IMO, but you can win big depends on your luck.
Or you can do $0.25 x 400 spins, or progressive $0.25 x 200 and then followed by $0.5 x 100.

It depends on what you play for. If you expect to get rich, yes, you are wasting your time. If you expect to be entertained or have fun, having the opportunity to win money in that session, but being aware that it is a game in which the odds are against you, no, you are not.
True, don't play poker as well, it's just a waste of time and money. Work harder and smarter! LuL

1960  Economy / Economics / Re: Nothing about communism: The real cause of hyperinflation in Venezuela on: August 20, 2021, 05:13:15 PM
Socialism is just the little brother of communism
Yep, it's actually a transition state towards communism (based on some definition somewhere on the internet).

Anyway, there's leading and lagging effect. It's like saying someone died because of lung cancer instead of smoking. Why the government made mistakes in its economic policy? If they have made mistakes, why the effect could be so massive? Is it because they have more power, more centralised planning that prone to blunder or unforeseen shock?
