But we surely will be seeing crypto trading being accepted and taxation on income from crypto which is already present in India.
May be there will be a consensus on how much taxation would be implemented on it and few policies that G20 will bring out together.
All in all things will be baselined for cryptocurrencies which is a good sign since a vast majority of people are still concerned over its legalization.

What I am more excited about is a G20 framework on tax. India has already implemented a heft tax policy but many G20 member countries are not charging such hefty taxes on crypto earnings. By October this year, we should be able to hear some positive news on this topic. EU has been pretty much progressive in allowing crypto as an alternate pay mode in local stores and e-commerce websites. If India allows the same then it would be a convenient mode for making purchases both online & offline for the Indian crypto community.

You won't be able to stop those people by notifying them in this way. I have received a lot of notifications on Bitcointalk telegram bot after my last post in this thread, but most of those replies aren't related to my post. Some users make a lot of unnecessary quotes while making a post. You may report those posts if you consider them as spammy.

Some of those quotes are near about half a page long and are just done to complete the signature campaign quota. Some of those replies do not make any sense and I have started reporting them but before doing that I wanted to warn those who have been doing it. Hence created the post and after that, I have seen fewer spammy replies than before.

Good on you that you posted it here and i hope some of the posters follow the guidelines and don't spam cause it's irritating. Sorry out of the merits otherwise I would have sent some on your way.

Good to see you noticed my post bro. Let's start reporting such spam  Smiley

England only needs 48 runs in 49 overs. I am expecting a complete whitewash by the England team but fear that this might not happen as England does not have a lot of wickets on hand. Still an absolutely stunning performance by the English team in this series. Good comeback by the Kiwis!

The third test match between India and Australia will be played tomorrow. I assume KL Rahul will be replaced by Shubhman Gill as Rahul was recently removed from vice-captain responsibility. Steve Smith is the new captain of the Australian side. It would be interesting to see what changes he would incorporate to defeat the Indian team in the next match.

Big blow for MI and the Indian team as Jasprit Bhumrah may not be fit to play this year's IPL and the upcoming ODIWC. It seems his back injury appears to be more serious than it initially appeared. I am not concerned about the ODIWC as India has quality bowlers who can replace him but MI might have a tough time in this season of IPL. He has not played any cricket for the last 5 months and with his injury getting worse I think he would not be able to come back anytime soon. Such a situation for a good bowler like him can dent his career path as it gives other Indian bowling talents an opportunity to grab his position. We all know how competitive Indian cricket has become and the amount of talent pool India has in cricket.

Congratulation to the Australian women's team for winning the T20WC for the sixth time. Both Men and Women cricketers from Australia have established a knack for winning prestigious ICC tournaments.
1945  Local / India / Did anyone viewed the Youtube video on G20: Crytpo Ban by Kashif Raza? on: February 27, 2023, 02:32:09 AM
If not then you should. It is a nearly 19 minutes video that primarily discusses about the recent G20 meeting on cryptocurrency regulation and policy held in Banglore. It was chaired by our FM and the outcome of this meeting clearly stated Crypto cannot be banned in any of these G20 countries but a policy needs to be created around it. By October 2023 we would be hearing a lot about those policies.

Is this the way to reply on this thread? I have been constantly noticing that members who are part of the Stake or 1xBIT signature campaign have been spamming this thread with their posting or replying habits. Please follow the rules else you might get banned from the forum. I understand you are trying to complete the set quota of your signature campaign but posting in such a shitty way will destroy this thread.

I am so much amazed to see that fellow members of BTT are watching and replying on this thread about an ODI match that does not have any significance. Then they quote multiple times on the same reply above them. Something like this:

Kiwis still trail by 24 runs, they lost only 3 wickets but I do not think they will be able to get a good lead against the English side. This English side has been amazing, the coach, the captain, and the team have created a unique strategy that most of us and neither the opposition team management is able to understand.

The English batters are not aggressive anymore they are going after the bowlers which is making this test match more interesting. In this game, the batters and the bowlers of England are contributing in alignment. Regardless of the pitch they have proven they have proved their skills. I would love to see England playing against India in India.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 26, 2023, 02:24:00 AM
England VS Newzealand

What has suddenly happened to this English side Huh A complete dominace by them in this series. The way the English bowlers bowled was unexpected. Except Robinson everyone else contributed. Board took 4 wickets, both Anderson and Leach took 3 wickets each. I feel that the English might win this match too. Hard luck for Brooks I was expecting a double century from him in this match.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 25, 2023, 01:51:26 PM
Yeah they are paid equally but it's a scam imo, you know why? Check their schedule and compare it with the Men's team.

In the next FTP cycle, they are playing just 2 test matches, 25-ish ODI and 30-ish T-20s. At the same time, Men's team playing on average 8-10 tests and more or less the same amount of limited overs cricket in just 1 year.

The amount that they are getting paid is 100% generated by Indian Men's cricket. Your reply to my reasoning here is completely falsified. I have no calm with women cricket players but showing the captain crying on national television would only encourage such an argument.

Let's dig into the stats of Indian women's cricket and especially our beloved captain H. Kaur. After 2017 she became the captain on Indian side and she has not won a single ICC tournament to date.

  • 2018 - T20WC - lost
  • 2020 - T20WC - lost
  • 2022 - ODIWC - lost
  • 2023 - T20WC - lost

Comparing her stats with King Kohli as a Captain! Your Favourite Grin

  • 2017 - ICCCT  - lost
  • 2019 - ODIWC - lost
  • 2021 - T20WC - lost

We know what happened to him afterward. Just because he is a man does not mean he should get hatred from every Indian fan and not this woman. They are both professional cricket players and they are expected to take responsibility for their incompetence and not gain support by crying on mainstream media as she did. I also question her runout in my opinion she should have slid down in order to save her wicket. What player on earth would do that kind of running between the wickets? I remember such kind of running between the wicket was common in the 90s and before 2007 by Men's cricket teams.

BCCI and mainly our society, in general started supporting Women's cricket after the 2017 WC's final so give them a couple of more years once WPL kicks in. They are already in the Top 3 teams, gaps are wide but it's not related to skills but to fitness level. Once they see off these challenges then we can expect some juicy results.

Found this MEME on another forum, sharing it here as it is very much relatable to the current Indian cricket scenario.

When Men Lose an ICC tournament!

When Women Lose an ICC tournament!

And they want Google to show Harmanpreet Kaur as the captain of the Indian cricket team with Rohit & Hardik. I mean this is not acceptable! These 19 and above girls who are part of the Indian team are more active on Instagram than on the cricket field. If they want equality, they should be treated in the same manner as the Indian men's team is treated whenever they lose an ICC tournament.

One need to understand the difference in the pay men players get and women players get. When the equality is achieved with their pay we can see the memes similar to that of the men's.

I think you might not be aware of it but Indian women cricketers are equally getting paid as their men counterparts by the BCCI. So the question is why then they are still treated like princess and men like shit. If women cricket needs to grow in India then the mentality has to change.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 24, 2023, 09:11:09 AM
Steve Smith will be the new captain of Australian test team. He wil remain as the captain for the next two test matches that for sure.

Meanwhile Joe Root and Harry Brook had an excellent day on the field as batters against the Kiwi's. Both were able get their century and Brooks might get to his double tomorrow. England have only lost 3 wickets and have score more than 300 runs. I am not why Newzealand chose to bowl first after winning the toss. It looks like the pitch is good for batting.

1954  Local / India / Re: What topic would encourage Indian board Merit source to get activated? on: February 23, 2023, 06:39:04 AM
I am not sure how many members are active on the board but those who have replied on this thread have been trying to keep this board afloat. I also think a little bit of help from the source can uplift the morale of those who have been actively creating topics. Not all topics are good and not all of them are bad.

You cannot expect a good amount of activity or engagement on the Indian local board due to the uncertainty created by the government of India. Still, a handful are trying to revive it and they should be encouraged That was the only reason I created this topic.

The first semifinal in the Women T20WC 2023 will be played today. Australia will take on India and they are a tough team to defeat. I won't be surprised if the Indian batter struggles against the powerful bowling lineup of the Australian side. Another important fact about this Australian side is that they are still an undefeated team in this WC.

The expectation would be pretty high from the Indian women's team as recently the U-19 team had won their WC. Smriti Mandhana has been in excellent form, in the last match she scored 87 out of just 56 deliveries.  The Newlands Stadium in Cape Town is more friendly to seamers therefore the team that wins the toss would like to bowl first.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 23, 2023, 02:18:08 AM
This is turning very ugly, i would blame BCCI for this. BCCI in general don't like criticism and hardly hold any public debate on virtually any topic related to cricket. They even penalize pundits or commentators when they bring up any valid points. That's why commentators turn into cheerleaders and also we get mediocre selectors.

KL Rahul's exclusion from the team should be handled by the selection committee after Bangladesh series but they didn't do anything and now the knives are out from both sides.

Mind you this ugly interaction happened at the time when India are 2-0 up in the series. You can imagine what could've happened if the scoreline was reversed.

I was hoping for a live debate between these two on Youtube. That would have opened up many hidden secrets of BCCI and players on an open public forum. It was supposed to turn ugly as every player has his own fanbase and those stupid comments on his Twitter timeline are from the fans of KL Rahul and Chopra.

The worst part was when Akash Chopra started questioning the intention of Venkatesh Prasad and labeling him on this Youtube video. You need to read those comments on this video. My favourite is this one:
Quote
Akash Chopra and Kl Rahul.. legend openers for India ever 😌😂

Which Players do you think will retire after the ODIWC 2023?

I will go first. In my opinion, David Warner might announce his retirement from International cricket after this WC. Warner would be 37 by the time WC starts and he has already given a hint that he might retire in 2023. I do not think he will retire from all formats of cricket but if surely from Test & ODI.

Do you think from India will Rohit, Virat, Shikhar, or Jadeja will do the same?
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 22, 2023, 06:08:43 AM
Akash Chopra trying to cash the Prasad & Rahul controversy on Youtube. Got served what he deserved! Grin When questioned by Venkatesh Prasad on Twitter? He asked him to have a debate on his Youtube channel. To which Prasad replied:

Then later on he got served his Test stats from one of the bowling legends of Indian cricket.

I never liked Akash Chopra because of his cringe commentary and weird style. I also never knew he played and now he made a fool of himself by questioning Venkatesh Prasad and trying to create a false narrative about him on Youtube. The fool got what he deserved Grin

I was checking mempool for the latest transaction fee and found that only 34 blocks need to be mined to reach the 777777 blocks. It does not have any significance but it will be an event considering that block 666666 was mined 2 years ago. I assume the block 777777 will get mined today considering it only takes 10 minutes to mine a block.

I am not sure what is happening with the Australian side. New news coming out from the Australian dressing room is that Pat Cummins will be returning home due to a Family medical emergency. I was reading this article wherein they mentioned that almost half of the Australian side has returned home after losing two test matches against India.
