You are right about the KYC, but unfortunately now you can buy literally everything on the Internet, including fake documents, through which it is easy to pass the KYC. Using the example of Binance protection, it is very easy to get through there with a fake account.

It is true that everything can be bought on the Internet including KYC documents but it all depends on how effectively a Casino carries out KYC verification. Apart from buying the teenagers can use their parents documents to pass KYC. In the past such issues were identified by a few casinos and did make into mainstream media news. In the end it all depends on how parents tackle their teenagers and how well they monitor their activities.
1942  Economy / Gambling / Re: Play Simple telegram-bot game "Unix Season" on: August 14, 2023, 05:43:47 AM
When we created the game, we thought first of all not about monetary interest, but about how to provide the game for free to a wide range of people. If, of course, people are interested in the game, then it will be possible to make a game for cryptocurrency.
Games on telegram aren't popular here, so it is difficult for you to market it here even if it is free. because at the beginning of its appearance, Telegram was already considered a scam field for crypto users. If I were you I will try to build the website like others, this is one way to build trust here. Even if your intentions are good, and have the output to create a real cryptocurrency game, but one thing you should know is, the people will play your game if it really makes them happy, not the fear to be loss.

You are right no one wants to play games on Telegram as it is notorious for scam activities. Most of us have Telegram but we won't entertain anyone unknown on that platform or participate in anything that is free. I think OP should take his platform on a self hosted website and then come up with an ANN page, it would certainly encourage forum members to indulge in his platform otherwise it would remain dormant for a long time.
1943  Local / India / Re: why indians afraid to invest in crypto on: August 12, 2023, 07:23:29 AM
you do know the next pump would be triggered by Elon Musk.
Funny things happen too and imagine what if Elon comes with his own crypto called 'X'. Cheesy

Yeah, it is a 22 year old dream of Elon Musk to create a super app, which he plans to do with Twitter. The possibility of launching his own X crypto token has been denied by him. You can do a Google search and you would see a lot of articles surrounding this topic. He would integrate a few crypto into the platform and those would get a big push from the market. By the way the domain x.com was purchased by Musk before he created PayPal long back.

The problem with UPI lite is that it only allows INR 500 transaction per day without using UPI PIN. I am still unable to relate why I would need INR 500 transaction with the lite version. I could easily withdraw cash or borrow money for 24 hours from a friend for such an amount.
AFAIK, the value can be upto 2000 INR so I guess it differs based on the UPI wallet providers.

And the actual reason for UPI lite is to avoid transaction failure which mostly experienced by every UPI user due to bank server's down.

Also, it makes the bank accounts statements clean instead of filled with penny transactions and 100s of pages.

My experience of failure of UPI transaction is mostly on weekends. After such experience I started carrying cash without fail. Still I feel this feature doesn't make much sense when you have alternatives available and which are more reliable. What is the guarantee that UPI lite won't fail when needed. To save oneself from embarrassment always carry some amount of cash or your debit card with yourself.
1945  Local / India / Re: why indians afraid to invest in crypto on: August 12, 2023, 06:55:28 AM
Agreed with your point as most of my friends including myself has done the same thing. But, like me there are others who have questioned the existing financial system and have joined the Bitcoin band wagon.
Yep it is true, People see crypto trading as a very good part-time job however the bitter truth is most of them fell for the shitcoins.

If I am not wrong one of my friend asked suggestion about converting his BTC to SHIB after saw huge increase in the price so they all are just looking for short term gains not ready to look the real future.

Actually those who invested in shitcoin in the Bull market had made more profits than those who invested or kept holding on non shitcoins. I once invested in doge oin when it was dirt cheap and thanks to Elon Musk I did made a good profit. There was a time when Dogecoin was used as giveaway now it has stopped. You never know which shitcoin will pump next but you do know the next pump would be triggered by Elon Musk.

I could easily withdraw cash or borrow money for 24 hours from a friend for such an amount. I somehow feel they needed a new feature to be added to the UPI and they came up with an abrupt new feature. As per my understanding not many have availed this feature. The same fate will happen with the AI chat bot. Indians are very particular about finance and don't generally accept new technology associated with it.
1947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web3 wallet trading alternatives you recommend? on: August 11, 2023, 02:29:01 PM
What I found about BitKeep is that is more user friendly than Metamask wallet as I believe operating Metamask is not that easy if you are a newbie to cryptocurrency. The red flag for me is that BitKeep is a closed source wallet wherein it can cause issues in the long run. dApps integration is not that good if you compare it with Metamask wallet. Another red flag for me is that BitKeep is a custodial wallet whereas Metamask is not. I would still prefer Metamask over BitKeep due to these factors and I do not feel uncomfortable in using Metamask as I have been using it for a long time now. I would always recommend others to use Metamask than BitKeep.
1948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you know segment. (Get to know briefly a few legendary rank users and learn) on: August 11, 2023, 02:12:24 PM
Looks like OP knows more than many of us here as I was also not aware that LoyceV is from Switzerland. Why does it feel like the OP is an alt of someone who has been a forum veteran as he found out about all of these legendary members in just one day? It took me a few days just to understand different boards and child boards when I was a newbie. Having an alt account is allowed in the forum but behaving as if you are new and trying to get some merits with such a topic does not look good.
1949  Local / India / Re: How Bitcoin changed your lifestyle & your thinking? on: August 10, 2023, 06:35:19 AM

What do you guys think about Bitcoin?

An amazing innovation that has changed the way finance used to look a decade back. At the moment it is one of the most transparent ways to do trade & make payments online.

What do you think the government will do about Bitcoin or other crypto in the next 5 years time?

In my opinion, it is hard to predict what government would do about Bitcoin as I feel they are clueless about it. One thing I am certain that they would come up with regulations but that would take some time.

Has Bitcoin changed your living standard?

Yes, to an extent it has changed the way I was living a few years back and I think it would continue to upgrade my living standard in the coming years.

Do you think Bitcoin can get you financial freedom?

Financial freedom is a distant dream for me as I joined this bandwagon very late. If I had been part of its ecosystem in 2011 then I could have achieved somewhat financial freedom in 2023.

Yeah gold is one of the best thing that we should have and as a matter of fact everyone should have at least 100 or 200gms of gold so in case of emergency they can use it as hedge to leverage some money but it cannot provide returns so it is not going to make you rich either and that is why middle class stuck into their financial status forever.

Real estate is very good especially in India but how much people can see the real estate as an investment because it needs huge capital but with bitcoin they can start with any amount they can so over the time the returns will be more than expected and they can realize it only if they are willing to look at the bitcoin price charts.

The only investment will cross every middle class is FD because they will have assured returns of 6% to 7% but with the inflation rate they are only paying out from their pocket at the end of year instead of getting any returns.

This is how middle class works and most of us might be able to relate to what I am going to write. The first thing they do is find a decent job and after that take life insurance. Some of them do take medical insurance apart from what the company is providing them. Then they start with SIP wherein they set a goal for every SIP, an example of a goal: a bike, a downpayment/full payment for a car, and a down payment for a house. When they reach middle age they are surrounded by EMI which barely gives them any space to think about other investment options.

At this age they have kids and they want their kids to have good education. The next set of SIPs is for their kid's higher studies, although in order to have higher education they would need an education loan. The SIPs only provide support for the education expenses of the kid. By the time they are free of all kinds of burden they retire and does not want their retirement amount to be invested in private bank or mutual funds. They would invest in schemes run by the government. How can you then ask them to invest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies? The trend is changing but it will take another decade for Indians to go neck deep into Bitcoin investment.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 10, 2023, 05:44:02 AM
I do not think this is an actual story, it indeed has some elements of an actual scenario but it was interesting to read. I felt it the protagonist in this story was an average individual who had the confidence that he would win one day and was committed to his belief. He never stop buying lottery tickets and when he suddenly won he had zero idea on how to use the winning money. Without proper money management, he lost what he had won. The end is a sad reality of every actual lottery winner in the past. Although some of them did proper money management they were only a few.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 10, 2023, 05:18:36 AM

Winning $100 is possible indeed, but doing it in an everyday session that's something not guaranteed.

You can lose a lot before you realized that it's not a good venue to make money. Yes, it's not impossible to win sometimes, but
making it every day there's always a big risk from. Gambling business was created to make or generate money. They will
not allow gamblers to make them a cash-cow.

Yes, you are correct anyone can win $100 through gambling but winning it consistently is out of the question. If someone does win $100 they need to spend 10x the amount in order to get to the desired amount which only shows that the loss is always high than the winning amount. I still believe that it is not possible to earn money every day without you losing more than you win. In the end, a casino is being run to make profits and the house would ensure that its profitability does not go down.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 10, 2023, 05:13:22 AM
Most of these casino just do all these because of the government rules that are tied to them operating their business. These casino are now implementing all these to avoid be sanctioned of money laundering law because most of the users deem their site to be a perfect spot for huge deposit and withdrawal which can cause lots of attention so that's why KYC is been called upon

In the past, the casinos were blamed by the government for harboring money laundering. A lot of them were either closed by the government or went offline, which caused issues for the users who had their deposits in these casinos. That is the reason why KYC is now being made mandatory in almost all online casinos. A few exceptions are there but sooner or later they will also implement KYC. With KYC you no longer are anonymous but as a user, you still have the anonymity factor with other users.
1954  Local / India / Re: why indians afraid to invest in crypto on: August 09, 2023, 09:51:23 AM

I partly agree with you because not everyone in the investment will never be going to get the same interest on a single asset which even applies to Gold that everyone believes it is a great asset however gold is not entirely in the interest of most rich people because they know it is more of store of value than an asset that may give returns to them.

But as I said we are not really at the worst place in the crypto adoption, it will take time for sure, but we are not going to miss the train for sure.

Gold is part of Indian culture, our mom, sister, and wife would know the best. If every Indian woman reveals the amount of gold they have then it would be more than the US reserve. Yes, I agree Indians do not buy gold for an ROI but as per my understanding, this gold is kept as a reserve in case of financial emergency. I still believe the only reason we Indians do not invest in crypto is because of the risk. As an Indian, I am aware of a few friends who are aware of Bitcoin but won't risk an investment. When I ask them why they would say there are other investment options available like gold, mutual funds and property. All the three are less risky investment than Bitcoin at the moment.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 09:38:31 AM
Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

Not a fan of slots but I have been playing Dice and Crash many times and have gone through the same phase as you. I have not been able to convert $1 to $200 like you did but I have made quite a few big profits with small investments. The number of wins is less than the number of losses for me and I believe most of here have gone through the same phase while playing games that are solely based on luck. I am also sure there are people here who have been more lucky than me and you.

Looks like OP wants to create a hype around his project before it's official launch. I am unable to think of any other reason fro creating a thread with just one liner. Op as others have mentioned you need to bu Copper Membership in order for you to post images. Waiting for the ANN! I hope your project launches soon. Best of Luck.
1957  Economy / Gambling / Re: NanoGames.io on: August 09, 2023, 08:29:19 AM
Restrictions on newbie accounts from making announcement could be fine citing your arguments. It is true that a newbie account has nothing to lose if they get banned as a result of their act and carelessness here in promoting a scam project unbeknownst to  them. Such account holder possibly might open or register another account and continue with their posting since they did not have much such as good ranks to forfeit.

If it is the other way round, high rank account holders approached by these casinos to set up announcement thread for them would take out their time to conduct their due diligence before engagement so as not to make any mistake of promoting scam on this platform because any thing that happens here might cause them their reputation and as such would want to maintain  a fair level of engagement.

I don't think restrictions would solve the problem. It is not that tough for a newbie rank to become a member rank now days. Next we will see Member rank holders posting ANN fot casinos claiming they are not from the team. What will you do next? Will you again ask the admin to restrict them from posting ANN threads. It is better that every member who wants to try a new casino take due diligence before a big deposit. If there is an issue then they should create a thread on the Reputation board. Furthermore I don't think Theymos would restrict newbie from posting an ANN thread. Already newbie rank holders have a lot of restrictions if you add posting restrictions then what is the use of that rank on the forum.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 08, 2023, 04:36:28 AM
..

It all started when I saw my college mates earning daily by buying small lottery tickets every day. They used some kind of calculation to predict the winning ticket as they were buying in groups every day they were able to make a tiny profit. They then would use the winning amount for parties and other stuff which at that age is all I wanted to and I am sure everyone would have done the same thing at that age. That was the first time that I got hooked on gambling, it looked very good from the outside but when you become part of that lifestyle it does not look the way I saw it when I was not gambling. Yes, I agree in some way or another peer pressure does influence and some time act as a catalyst for gambling. In my situation it influenced me and then it got me hooked into the regrettable ecosystem and I had to go through a lot inorder to get out of that ecosystem.

I want to express my regards to Hhampuz and the Trust Dice team for granting me the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Signature Campaign since its inception. Best of Luck for the future.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 07, 2023, 04:49:20 PM
AI is a new technology that has changed the way a business was conducted earlier and now AI has become a big challenge. Considering what an AI can achieve if a user knows how to use it I feel this is bad for humanity. The reason being AI might become something that would take the job of a lot of professionals. That being said I believe a human would be more formidable than an AI when we think about sports betting. An AI would only respond to a query and a human would not as a human is already knows what he/she needs to work on. Bettors would benefit initially but in the end, the house would overcome it. Considering what might be the recursion in the long run I think the house won't tolerate such theft. We would only know what would happen next when such a issue is detected by the house.
