1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 28, 2023, 09:18:25 AM
What I really noticed in traditional casino or gambling is that the way you deposit money on it is sometimes difficult, like there are many platforms that you need to go through. There are still casinos that have used e-wallets with our local currency, but the problem is that most of those casinos that are using them that I am aware of are not legal; they mostly got closed down, and others won't release your winnings. That is mostly what I have noticed, and there are no established online casinos that I know of in our country that are using e-wallet. That is why I prefer crypto, as it is legal internationally and has been established already.

Yes, deposit and withdrawal in traditional casino is not that fast as crypto casino. You have to go through multiple payment processing interface in traditional casino. Payment can take days to hit your bank account. e-wallet are just waste of time, they to take the same time to refill. Only positive thing is that the gambler doesn't need to wait for his deposit if he regularly refills the wallet. There are lot of advantages of using crypto casinos than traditional ones.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: July 28, 2023, 08:21:20 AM
A man run naked in a Las Vegas casino (Linq Casino) and jumped on the poker table and started to dance. He was arrested instantly by the security, however his family says that he was drunk and therefore he did such type of act.

More details can be read here Naked Gyrating Guy Arrested at Harrah’s Las Vegas Was Drugged, Family Claims

The point here is why gamblers do such shameless acts and what the rules of the casino suggest the penality for these acts. Do you think the gambler did it purposefully perhaps to become popular in the headlines  Huh

First of all, I do not think dancing naked on a poker table goes beyond normal behavior. Such an action would cause discomfort to other gamblers and the staff of the casino, imagine the scene this idiot created. Whether he is intoxicated or not is a different scenario and in my opinion, he should be banned from all casinos to set an example that such behavior in the future would not be tolerated. The next time a gambler thinks about doing something weird he would think twice before committing it. In such cases, a casino has all the right to take legal action against such hooliganism and I am certain they would have taken it by now. They have some of the most strict policy when it is related to the safety and reputation of a casino.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Things to Consider When Choosing an Online Casino on: July 28, 2023, 08:09:06 AM
Apart from what OP mentioned I always look for payment options, payout speed, and Bonus offers. Payment option because I do need to know what is the minimum deposit amount and withdrawal. I also check if my favorite crypto is supported by the casino as of now most of them give multiple options. Payout speed plays an important factor as most reputable casinos provide instant withdrawal. Almost every casino nowadays provides incredible bonuses and offers what I check are the criteria to get those bonuses. Most reputable casinos would not create hard or easy criteria they would be moderate which is plus sign for me.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 28, 2023, 07:48:30 AM
This kind of feature can be a big help, now all you have to do is to set your limit and commit on that.
Yes this can still be changed but the good thing here, the site promotes a responsible gambler and you should too.
I saw some post about having a limit on your account, this one is a good example. I also have problem when it comes to increasing my capital on the spot, this can stop me from being uncontrolled and be more responsible, gambling is very risky you can lose everything here.

A responsible gambler is a myth according to me, a gambler is a gambler and he would do anything for his addiction. What you are saying is ideally possible but in practice, a gambler would go ahead and reset the deposit limit again in 24 hours. In that way, he would be able to again gamble and continue with another big deposit. I never understood the concept of provably fair and now I do not understand the concept of deposit limits. It is just like showing you care for your user but with a small loophole for the user to exploit.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 27, 2023, 09:07:22 AM
This is nothing but a strategy by casinos to make thier users feel that they care for them. I mean why can't they increase it from 24 hours to 36 hours. They won't after all they are here to do business and make profits. This why daily gamblers should gamble resposibly. They should be disciplined and not fall for such kind of features which doesn't make any sense.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2023, 07:33:43 AM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source

According to my understanding both Gambling and Bitcoin investment are risky. Gambling is not that new if you compared it with Bitcoin and gambling is basically a game played for entertainment. As Bitcoin is new to the world when we compare it with gambling there is a belief that the risk of losing money in Bitcoin investment is high than in gambling. Another point that I think is relevant to your topic is the rise of crypto casinos and the downfall of fiat casinos.

As we all know during the pandemic gamblers started shifting from traditional casinos, and online casinos to crypto casinos because of anonymity, security, speed, and convenience. This trend has been increasing as gamblers have started investing in their favorite cryptocurrency for gambling. That being said it does not mean they are buying Bitcoin for gambling as apart from Bitcoin their other crypto is available in these casinos. Why are they avoiding Bitcoin simply because of its volatility?
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 27, 2023, 06:51:13 AM
All of the listed other things, suggested for gambling by the OP are basically events. Events would happen once in a while and these events won't make a gambler happy but an occasional gambler can give them a try. I am not against such betting but sports betting is far more entertaining than any other betting game. Casino games are the second most played games for the purpose of entertainment and for me, they give you an adrenaline rush in the comfort of a home.
1188  Local / India / Re: Worldcoin: the cryptocurrency that wants to scan your balls on: July 27, 2023, 05:42:29 AM
For INR 4000 I am not going to scan my irish, already the government of India has forced scanned my irish for Aadhar card. Of course for everything in India I need the aadhar card but I have zero clue why I would need the world ID that they are offering. For me it is a controversial  project but the hype it has been gaining lately is good for anyone who wants to invest in this project for long term gain. As soon as it got listed on Binance it pumped for more than 50%. At the moment it is trading sideways and in the next bull run it might reach its ATH.
1189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency to be used as an investment asset on: July 26, 2023, 11:15:43 AM

About return on investment, it might be a loss for a long time for people that invested at the wrong time. Example are people that invested at $50000. But bitcoin is still going above $50000 again. Even above $100000.

Those who invested in Bitcoin when it reached its ATH of 21k got high returns in 2021 If they had not panicked and sold it for a loss before. At whatever price point you buy Bitcoin it will always give you a high return if you have diamond hands. If you cannot hold and tend to panic when the market goes down then you should not invest in Bitcoin. Weak hands in any kind of investment would always suffer losses. There are other shitcoins that can give you 2x, 5x, 10x, or even 100x on your investment but they do perish fast and you could lose money, whereas if you keep on believing Bitcoin it will surely give you better returns than gold or property in the long run.
1190  Other / Meta / Re: Deleting Several Previous Posts/Comments To Reduce Post Count... on: July 26, 2023, 10:41:51 AM
Deleting a lot of old posts can result in a decline in activity and eventually loss the rank. If those users are thinking such useless efforts would help them in securing a position on a signature campaign then they are mistaken. The criteria on how BM decides a candidate is suitable for a signature campaign can be known by reading the Rules. Merits, posting behavior, and active members are three common checks. Different BMs have different ways of selecting a candidate as in the end the managers only want the business to benefit. That is why high paying campaigns have members with high merits and a large number of posts that are not meant to spam boards.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 26, 2023, 10:26:38 AM

The worse after effect of gambling is when you are already engage too deep, like what you said more on luck but the sad thing is when you are unlucky you keep trying and hoping that luck will come up and bring you the money that you desire to earned, and again, after you achieved that, your desire to win more will dominates you, greed will start to take over and the outcome may lead you into addictions.
The most important and most difficult issue is that stopping and not gambling often seems very difficult for anyone, even, I think, for the average player.  It is not easy for any player to stop playing abruptly, because all the same, this player is constantly and constantly drawn to play and try again and again to win back his loss.  But the probability of this is certainly less than the probability of gradually losing more and more.  So the moment will surely come when the player will still have to decide - to stop and stop playing or continue to play and get already serious problems in the form of addiction, family budget disruption, scandals with his wife and relatives, and so on.
Unfortunately, this is the path of a very large number of gamblers.

Breaking the routine is sometimes necessary, and if gambling has become part of your routine, it's important for you to take a break. Start by taking a day off, and then gradually increase the gap between gambling sessions. If you've been gambling every day, skipping it for even one day can be challenging and require a lot of willpower. Therefore, it's a good idea to start taking care of your body, such as by going to the gym or learning yoga. This can become a positive addiction with many benefits. This is just a suggestion and sometimes people are able to take a gap without doing other activities to break the routine.

I believe this post is suitable for the gambling board and not the local board. I can see you have created the same thread with a different title on that board. It is better to delete this thread otherwise it might be considered as a spam by the global mods
1193  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: July 25, 2023, 10:58:47 AM
Yes, I do place bets on cricket & football matches. I have been using Stake for my betting needs for quite sometime now. What you have created on your thread is good but if anyone wants to check ranking and recommendations about a gambling platform then it is better to check BTCGOSU. They have a comprehensive list and a lot of offers. If you can get some personalised offers and a comprehensive list then this thread would be one of the best source to find good online casino.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Abuse ... on: July 25, 2023, 10:40:50 AM
Anything that goes well above the threshold of normal can mean abuse, so gambling isn't really something that's far off from that. There are a lot of people that are 'abusing' their freedom with gambling and ended up racking debts that are obviously not attractive. Moderation and control in everything that we do is the key to not resulting into any "abuse" that will be harmful to us along the way. What simple fun to us could mean a lot of danger in the future if we keep things unchecked.

The problem with everyone is that they would have some kind of addiction and in the end, an addiction always ends in a bad way. You are correct anything above the threshold of normal is considered abuse. The problem is no one would accept that they are abusing themselves with an addiction. Ask a gambler and they would always say they considered themselves as a casual gambler. If everyone is gambling for entertainment then why are they end up in debt? When a gambler starts questioning himself then only they would realize the problem they have got addicted to.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 25, 2023, 10:08:30 AM

To be honest, I don't know if it's possible to reduce an addiction. A friend of mine, a former gambling addict, once told me that addiction is such a thing that you either have it, or you don't. You can't reduce it. He was cured by a professional, and he has no addiction know, and I'm happy for him, but it's from him that I know that only a good professional can help you to end your addiction.

You cannot reduce an addiction but you can control the addiction behavior. That would take a lot of willpower and control of the mind to be able to achieve the desired result. I have seen many fellow gamblers who were able to control their addiction, it did not come in a day as it takes some time. It would require an addicted guy to consult with a professional or a group to help an addict control his behavior.

1197  Local / India / Re: Anybody Trading In Binance on: July 24, 2023, 11:01:55 AM
I don't understand what made OP ask the question and then never followed up. OP was last active on the 15 th of this month and after that has gone into hibernation. Regarding the question, yes a lot of members on the local board are using Binance. I am pretty confident that most of us are trading on it as I do. I am not sure whether they are using any other services. Please don't use Binance P2P trade if you are based in India. The reason behind most Merchants operating there are scammers. If you use P2P then there is a possibility that your bank account might get frozen.
1198  Economy / Economics / Re: Federal Reserve launches FedNow instant payment service on: July 24, 2023, 10:29:35 AM
We have the same instant money transfer in our country known as UPI. It has been in existence for a few years now and has been a big success. The only issue is that we still cannot use it for international money trasfer. The reason being other countries need to upgrade thier banking technology. Do you think other countries would be ready to do it? Obviously not and this why Bitcoin cannot be ignored. It will always remain important untill the government of every country agrees to one currency and payment network.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: July 24, 2023, 09:40:11 AM

It won't be strange for us that some gamblers may have several accounts as long as they have a lot of money to become VIP members and enjoy the bonuses they get from each different casino, just like OP playing at big and trusted casinos on this forum like Stake , as long as he is an active gambler of course it will make the wagered higher and bigger, of course it takes time for them to get VIP members.

It's not as easy as we imagine, that every sacrifice of becoming a VIP member is clearly a lot of risk, let alone a lot of money and time spent being there. I'm just a small gambler with small bets. It will be difficult to catch up on getting a VIP account, even though the opportunity is there, but at least it takes years to get it.

I won't be surprised if some gamblers have multiple VIP accounts on different online casino. It is surely not that easy to get a VIP account on a single casino due to the several requirements. Only gamblers who have good amount of money can have such accounts that is correct but what is the need of having more than one VIP account. Having one account would give you the same benefits they don't guarantee a win.
1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 24, 2023, 09:12:15 AM
I have heard and read about people gambling because they had no source of income,  a job or they wanted to add gambling as part of their streams of income. Whatever your category the bottom line is that we all gamble to make money though some group claim it's mainly for fun. But who would want to be losing money all in the idea of catching fun!

I actually would like to share those articles where you read that gamblers are able to gamble without any source of income. Actually if anyone does not have any source of income then the bets he is placing is from illegal income. It is a fake assumption that gambling is a another source of income. You cannot generate regular income from gambling. Those who claim that they gamble for entertainment are not gambling everyday. They are social gamblers who gamble with friends and family.
