Developers has nothing to do with the success of their coins. A coin does not need too much gimmicks in order to succeed. Many people think that features are very important, but that's not true, because of one simple reason - they are confusing for the general crowd. The key of success imho is simplicity. You have a lot more chance for better adoption if you keep things simple. People need to know the answers of these questions:
- what is this?
- how can I use it?
- why should I use it?
That's about it.

Why alt coins will be dumped when the halving happens?
Because a speculation will precede and follow the Bitcoin halving. Probably a lot of people will decide to participate in it, and they will most likely exchange their alts for Bitcoin. |

About 73 days left until Bitcoin halving and I have reasons to believe that: - BTC price will be in the $600 - $700 range - A lot of alt coins will be dumped and probably never recover Many Bitcoin supporters claim that it can be used for pretty much anything, and that we don't need other cryptocurrencies, but I could not agree with that. I somehow believe that we are in trouble, because cryptoworld needs several currencies in order to survive as it is (of course, so called s*itcoins are not considered). What is your opinion? |

BTC-e probably doesn't add coins on a regular basis in order to avoid stuff that happened to cryptsy (if their story is true).
They only use seriously vetted software to make sure nobody gains access to their systems through leaks in the wallet software.
Not sure why they added dash, but then again, it is one of the higher volume coins so that is probably the reason.
Odd, Dash does so little volume on yobit that half the time my orders take forever to get filled. Most get only partially filled. But maybe that's just yobit. You do realize that Dash's trading volume on YoBit is less than 0.1 BTC?  P.S. Dash already up by ~10%. |

it is actually pretty surprising to me. not because they have added these coins but i am surprised why they added these coins "now"?! dash has been traded for a very long time and the price and volume was a decent value, and ETH goes without saying that this coin had the biggest hype which lead to the biggest pump and dump of this year so far. they have missed a lot of trading fee in the past couple of months. It could be surprising if you expect cryptocurrencies to survive for a few more years. Exchanges like BTC-e, Bitstamp, OKCoin and Coinbase are running serious businesses (though Poloniex surpassed them all (of course I'm not claiming that Polo is not serious!)  ), and I believe that they are here for the long run. You must be very cafefull in order to survive in cryptoworld. Every decision can be vital for your future. |

That's a solid solution! Why did you make failcoin? Just having a look through some of your posting history and it looks as though you've launched 3 different versions of some shit called Failcoin, this is the first one with a 1% premine (3.4 Billion coins) for 'community', 'fundinng' and 'rewards'. No mention of the algorithm but it does have example login settings in your git repo readme.md meaning every noob that used them had their wallet emptied when they connected to your addnode and exposed their IP address. Here is the second one, scrypt this time with no premine mention but no source code either. And finally, rip off part 3. 20,000,551 premine this time but its POS algo so I guess that's ok You know if you submit a pull request to my coinclone library you could launch a new shit coin and fleece unsuspecting innocents every day ...can't promise they'll be accepted though  You're not serious. |

I am with known identity (I have even posted my ID here), but so what? PayCoin's "developer" was also known. You should both grow up. So far 99.5% of the altcoins (ot whatever asset/token) has no real purpose, instead cloning others and add some gimmicks. We should all work on spreading the word about them and accept the fact that Bitcoin is the King. P.S. Personally I did not follow Expanse (except the fact that I've had several conversations with defaced in the past few years), but I did followed SHIFT. Dear FAILers, We are happy to announce FAILCommunity's newest member - Isaac Nandgavkar (his accounts: BitcoinTalk, Twitter). Isaac is a Biotechnologist from India and Graphic Designing is one of his hobbies. He is also very much interested in cryptocurrencies and he is always looking to be a part of something, which would have a good impact to the society. Our goals is to spread the word about Bitcoin and use our cryptocurrency FAILCoin as a way to help and entertain people around the world. In the next few weeks, we are going to work on redesigning everything. Website, thread, Twitter, Facebook etc...
