1941  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 11, 2017, 09:56:37 PM
I would love to make the lottery provably fair but unfortunately there is no method of doing so as far as I know. Hence, I have done the next best thing which is to offer users a chance to opt out of the lottery and receive reward points instead if they feel the lottery is rigged. You can do this from the PROFILE page.

I willl offer 1 BTC to anybody who can provide me with a way to make the lottery provably fair in issuing tickets and picking out winners. The system described should be able to handle hundreds of millions of tickets and verification for users should be fairly easy and straightforward. You can post your ideas here and I'll go through them and reward the idea that we use.

Both the free roll and the dice game are provably fair and the website will be going completely ad-free as of today.

As for the reference to the above post before that post of yours, I understand that it's really a fair draw as you guys are always stated. As from what I understand to the concerned of that post, the point is, there are already lots of winners for a total of 106 in each tier. If there is 10 tier then a total now would be 1,060 users. To 106 winners of 1st prize none of them didn't have a chance to show proofs here in bitcointalk that they already won. For 106 second prize winners too and so on. For the total winners only I think less than 10 show proofs they won the lottery and that is on smaller tier or correct me if Im mistaken here. Questions like that will really raised here.

Freebitco doesn't have to do if majority of those 1,060 winners doesn't want to give proof but isn't it nice if they will somehow show proofs as it will give Freebitco gained more trust to users especially right now that they are adding good features in their site?
Doesn't make sense that such vast number of people could settle to not celebrate their windfall. If one may ask, since when does winning a lottery became something to be shy of? I think the onus rests with Wetsuit to tell all of us here, we are bunch of unlucky folks, Grin that is why no regular person here - Bitcointalk, have ever won.

I think there is more you can actually do to prevent situations like this from cropping up in the first place and a number of them  can actually highlight something isn't right somewhere, if more hands are needed, go ahead and get them.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: June 11, 2017, 08:00:04 PM
yeah playing online casino is a good idea if you cannot go to local casino , but careful there there are lot of scams involved in online casinos

playing casino games online is one solution for us when we can not playing gambling in offline because we can play without any restriction and we can trying many games. i think many people trying to playing casino online because they want to feel how it looks like to playing gambling by online and many people wants to gets fun in gambling online.
Online casino games are answers to restrictions imposed by some countries, monitoring by casino owners/staff. With online casinos, a player is at liberty to come up with all manner of strategies, that ordinarily would be frowned at in land casinos. Moreover online casinos are open 24/7, though that can so easily lead to addiction if not checked.

I have heard people say, they go to land casinos because of the free drinks and beautiful girls, but those are another of casinos schemes to make players lose concentration and money. Online casinos is free of all that, but since online casinos are based on software, it becomes quite easy for mischievous owners to cook outcome of games.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: June 11, 2017, 07:28:37 PM
Definitely casino bets. As we are not able to know the outcome of the bet by any factor, the risk is very high when compared to sport bets. In sports bet we are able to analyse a team or a player and review their performance and other factors before betting. Thus we are having an upper advantage here prior to betting. Therefore being less riskier than casino bets.
I quite agree with you, casinos are definitely riskier, because you could hardly tell what is coming, but you can easily tell between a top athletic/team and an under dog, who stands better chance of winning! That aside, cases of manipulation of outcome of games are rampant with casinos.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 11, 2017, 06:56:05 PM
Don't try to be greedy is the main lesson that I can get from gambling actions. Greedy at gambling and at any other type of activities will lead us to get a bad situation at the end.
The lesson of life to learn from gambling is that, life is a game of chance and the swiftest seldom wins the race, because every hand is a winner and every hand is a loser as best summarized by Kenny Rogers Grammy Award nominee for Record of the Year 1978 - The Gambler!

Code:
Lyrics
On a warm summer's eve
On a train bound for nowhere
I met up with the gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
Out the window at the darkness
The boredom overtook us,
And he began to speak
He said, "Son, I've made a life
Out of readin' people's faces
Knowin' what the cards were
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind me sayin'
I can see you're out of aces
For a taste of your whiskey
I'll give you some advice"
So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed a cigarette
And asked me for a light
And the night got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
Every gambler knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep
'Cause every hand's a winner
And every hand's a loser
And the best that you can hope for is to die
in your sleep
And when he finished speakin'
He turned back toward the window
Crushed out his cigarette
And faded off to sleep
And somewhere in the darkness
The gambler he broke even
But in his final words
I found an ace that I could keep
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
You've got to know when to hold 'em (when to hold 'em)
Know when to fold 'em (when to fold 'em)
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done

1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 11, 2017, 06:25:02 PM
I think experience will matter if you are gambling on sports as based on your experience you can judge what will be the end result and depending on that you can adjust your bets which can go in your favor in the end.
If it's a game of luck your experience is not necessary anymore in order to win, you need experience to gamble with
limit and to be able to manage your emotion, that's gambling you lose most of the time so you need to limit.

for me, no matter what the game is, experience still necessary because with experience, we can decide what is our step for next movement or we can decide what kind of games that we have a chance to win based of our experience. and after we have experience, we can easily make decision about what we want to do in gambling.
That is right, experience brings a player better understanding of how games works, for instance a player without some experience would hardly tell one game apart from the other as some games like dice, roulette, blackjack, etc are not actually 100% based on luck. With these type of games, experience and an analytical mind can be on the side of a player to create their own luck unlike with games like slot, which are based solely on luck.

Matter of fact, you may want to ask the reason casinos in their numbers exclude dice, roulette, etc in the games that counts for wager requirements in the bonuses they offer  Roll Eyes
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex made a mistake closing down troll box? on: June 11, 2017, 05:21:49 PM
I think it is one of the most welcoming decisions they have taken in a long time Cheesy it is filled with FUD and recently it has become a complaint box because they could not keep up with the complaints they are getting on a daily basis and may be that is the reason they closed down the troll box, other than that there is no other reason.
You already said, the troll box became a big distraction and no one concentrates with such noise. I think Polo came up with the decision to close it down after reviewing the heavy traffic issue they were going through recently and figured it is after all a waste pipe. I really do not see it coming up again and I doubt that is one of the key reasons people use Polo.
1948  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: June 11, 2017, 02:59:41 PM
I was startled yesterday when on logging out of 999dice (Doge) with basebet 0.0025 doge and logging in to Crypto-games (Btc) same script but with basebet adjusted to 0.0000001 Btc. On starting the script once more, I noticed the bet actually started off with 0,0025 Btc until a win before reverting to the new setting, meaning the last session was carried over until a win and I think that can quite a spoiler with little balance. How can this be prevented?
1949  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 10, 2017, 10:55:01 PM
REALLY!!! Liking it a lot now a days. Playing each hour and getting atlas $2-$3 per day from the site. It is not much but it is free and thats why it is amazing!! Whoever it is, thats for introducing such a good site. I love it to go on freebitcoin everyday and click that recaptcha and play roll button. Lol. Its HI-LO game however is not that provably favour as it says but I still like it playing. Sometimes I put automatic mode on and it gives me good profits or atlas it doesn't make me loose my money. Good one!

Are you sure you get $2-$3 per day by claiming the faucet only? Logically you can claim 24x per day and the minimum faucet amount is $0.02 = 24 * 0.02 = $0.48 unless you get the 2nd lowest reward $0.2 several times per day. Are you so lucky enough to get $0.2 several times per day?
Of course those are bogus claims, he openly admitted the site is not provably fair, so how would the $2 - $3 per day be possible. Let us face it, this site have seized to have high rollers and it does not also have any major source of income (besides the adverts), so to stay afloat, a lot of things cannot be ruled out to be going on underground.
1950  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 🎁10 BILLIONTH BET🎁Most Popular Dice & Roulette🎁 on: June 10, 2017, 10:37:56 PM

I like the roulette Smiley
What I don't like (but it does not matter too much) is the free coins value for new users: 300 satoshis.

300 satoshis for a brand new account to try out the site is absolutely enough. But did you know(I bet you don't), bitsler is currently the site that is giving the highest faucet amount?

I don't think it is the highest value for a faucet (we talk about gambling websites), but I don't want to talk about this in Bitsler thread (is not fair).

It's really true that their faucet for newbies isn't best one and yes, it's fair to talk about that here because this thread is also for getting advices from customers. But I can't agree you in one fact, their faucet system is still great because when you achieve legendary member, you can get 5000 satoshi from faucet every time you want, without daily limit. That makes great sense.

Yes, with the current price, 5000 satoshi unlimited is really great things to claim here. And this is besides of your gambling activity. Let just assume you get 10% each day, it is pretty good amount of money on each month here

I really doubt BitSler will just let people farm their huge faucet every day and keep yoloing/withdrawing and then repeating. A whale who has the 5k satoshi faucet unlocked probably won't be doing that, but if they sold their account or just stopped gambling with their own funds, the faucet or account would be blocked eventually.
At the moment, the normal network fee (now also the minimal) for withdrawal is 0.0004BTC, so that makes the 5000 satoshi not readily withdraw-able, so a player shall be having to roll that much to profit, which is most unlikely or simply hand it back to the house.

By the way, how does the site track and stop the faucets from an account that stopped depositing funds? If it does, what is the guarantee that is the only thing monitored?
1951  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: June 10, 2017, 10:13:21 PM
Just curious. Fortunejack offers many great and amazing bonuses and services but when I checked your website on alexa, global rank is 142K which is very low compared to another, for example dice websites. I don't know if there is something wrong and can't think how FJ can to be so amazing when they have very little number of customers? Nothing personal, only interest.
Dice sites are popular because they have faucets and rains and all the free plays - so more people are using them, logically they have higher alexa rank. FortuneJack is more for true gambler who likes to spend their own money.

I noticed jackpot on mega moolah game is 376BTC but it was more than 1000BTC. Who won it?

In fortunejack site also you will get faucet money to try dice game. But that faucet amount you can't use it to play any other games on this site. I think fortunejack has many regular players, and many new players are playing their games, but I don't know why alex rank is so low. It is one of the oldest and well-trusted gambling sites in this forum, and also they have a plenty of different types of games to play during your free time.

Afaik you can use the faucet to play any games on fortunejack if you are able multiply the faucet till you meet the minimum bet of the games Wink
But I dont really agree if a site will get higher rank just because the site has faucet. Faucet is only a feature to test the game for free so I think it does not affect the alexa rank.
At other gambling sites you can play all games from faucet, you don't have to build balance with dice and than use balance for slots or other games.

Are there any slot games allowing you to bet with less than 1k satoshis?(i would like to know if any Smiley) the least i've bet with is 1k satoshis(betsoft slots), so how will you play slots without building up your balance from faucet. of course there are other ways like fake credits play, but that's not the point here.

Btw, who told you faucet is only for game test? Why every site has faucet with levels? Why there are so many free players on every site? Why is it raining in chats? It's NOT only for test.
And I think it is affecting alexa rank.
Casinos have different promotions like deposit bonus, wagering contests and VIP membership etc... i don't think faucet is affecting rankings.
Don't make a war for my post. I only was amazed how they can to be popular. I mostly see 200 user or higher online everytime and if we compare number of online users, dice websites has 5x more. Yes I understand they have slots and etc things but so great promotions at the same time, this really amazes me, if they can to make so huge money from so low amount of visitors, I only wish them success.
Faucet, rain and chat are proven marketing strategy that have worked and still working for dice games sites, even the ones with weird odds. Most people are only willing to touch gambling with free money based on the understanding that the house always wins. Though that may change with time after some confidence is built. Suffice it to say, that not finding those at FortuneJack translates to less attraction from good number of players.

As for the fabulous promotions, my personal observation is that the wager requirements which excluded most of the regular games, but favored slot and similar games, renders them unsavory.
1952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Purchases on: June 10, 2017, 01:49:52 PM
I have some bitcoins and found a secure way to keep them. What do I do with them now?
play with it, you must do a thing that will increase your bitcoin and be your investment. for example you may also try to gambled. just play with your bitcoin, play with a heart and stay on focus, every winning just save the half of it or take your investment then save it. you may also try trading, both gambling and trading is good you need to take a risk in both . but you may win a lot from it.
You only need to take a look at the profiles of couple of players in any gambling site to see that almost all are in red. Advice to increase your Bitcoin through gambling is not what you need if you are struggling and cannot afford to lose because gambling is not an investment except for the owner.
1953  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 10, 2017, 01:34:08 PM
I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.

This is the analisis I made:

On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd

On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd

On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd

Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

That is amazing.

I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

Your Calculation is 99% true , Here I entered in the Bitcoin field when its price was about 280$/btc but as you can see that price is about 10 times more .
In the starting I didn't realized that it's price will be 10 times  .
In that time of startup with the Bitcoin I don't have money to buy 1 btc and also in the current time I don't have money to buy one Bitcoin again .
So we can say that it is the demand and the condition that made the people rich or poor .
Here in the present day I am thinking that what will happen if I bought Bitcoin at 300$/btc , today I will be king to make money but opposite of this the reality is totally different , in that time I don't have money and also in the current time I don't have money to buy .
So only those persons who are millionaire can buy Bitcoin , other are only making money by the money rotation in the trading job .

Like the old saying goes, "Fortune favors the bold."

If you were able to buy bitcoins in the past, on that point of time bitcoins were nothing. Nobody knew about it as much as today and no one will really accept it unless the person really want to buy it. Back then it was just a piece of code people are trying to accumulate. I don't even know if they did realize at that point of time that bitcoins will ever grow this big.
Up till now, fortune still favors the bold or prepared. The best time to have bought Bitcoin was 2009 or 2013 after the dump, but the right time to buy and join the ride is now. If its rate for now appears to be disagreeable, then instead of buying from ones pocket, one can concentrate on earning as much as he can through a number of ways.
1954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: June 10, 2017, 01:19:08 PM
This is I notice a high fees every transactions but still the question is sometimes the transaction is too long to confirm. Despite of this bitcoin is still being used by every users and others still got earnings with bitcoin.

The high transaction fee is fine for now from my view because if the person wants the money without waiting a few days then he or she could get the money within the hour. I think that the amount for the high speed transaction is around $1 or so depending on how much is being sent over.
I guess it is still a better bargain, because if dealing  with fiats, even after paying high fees, one is still often compelled to wait for a number of banking days before the transaction is completed and that goes with the extra burden of leaving h your house and showing some papers. I think this is just a phase for Bitcoin, it will get over it.
1955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 10, 2017, 01:00:52 PM
That would be a bright idea.  Bitcoin price continuously rising and it will surely give you and your kids to have a good start.  But do not rely more on bitcoin.  Try other investment like opening a mutual fund or try to have a share at the stock market along with some investment on bitcoin.  That will surely give you and your kids soon a bright future.
Investing in a single Bitcoin should give the investor enough money to live a comfortable life for a little while depending on how well Bitcoins Blockchain moves the coins around. If the whole Blockchain gets stuck then the price of Bitcoin will fall and the Bitcoin will pretty much be over. We’ll see how it goes.
Bitcoin is really not all about the price, rather it is its intrinsic and never-seen-anywhere attributes that is behind the momentum we are experiencing in its value. These attributes are fundamental and sure to keep demand for Bitcoin ongoing that those waiting to see the end of Bitcoin would first have to beat death and yet they wont see it, because Bitcoin is actually a revolution whose time has come.
1956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 10, 2017, 12:42:37 PM
As a crypto trader, what i like most about bitcoin today is alot of investors interested in bitcoin, so price keeps rising. And it made me get more dollars than before.
There’s a bunch of people that made millions of dollars with Bitcoin and they are living pretty well right now since they’ve cashed some money out from Bitcoin. There was a documentary not that long ago that featured people that made millions with Bitcoin and it also showed what they were doing when the price of Bitcoin increased over the years. The documentary was called the rise and rise of Bitcoin.
It inspires me reading such kind of story, that is money from risking with bitcoin, I know there are a lot of early holders who
became millionaire and I believe it's not too late yet to follow their path.
Bitcoin has just started breaking its ATH and it will be a great journey to save more for the future.
We can see it is not just a thing for early birds as till this moment, Bitcoin is still handing out opportunities for people to become rich and lead good lives in as much as they be willing to show some faith in embracing it and making little risk. It has never been this easier and long lasting, those still sitting on the fence or those with big holes in their pockets had better order their steps aright and join the train while it is still at the station.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 09, 2017, 02:48:33 PM
I like the inspiration it gives to a lot of us that the traditional system can be changed, that things are not to big or out of reach to be revised, improved, made more appropriate for people.

Cool topic idea.

I do not think like you, for me, things are simpler, I just sit still and work with bitcoin, I can generate income. Everything is easy.
No it's not like that. There is no easy way of getting income. Even though your income is huge, it doesn't mean it's easy. You would need to cope for more so that you didn't ended up for nothing. You have to work with kore effort, not to work easier as time goes by.
I think what he was driving at, was that it is relatively easier to generate an income with Bitcoin than is possible with fiat currencies. The ability to make micro payments with Bitcoin is a huge leveler that have made entry level to many investment opportunities accessible and affordable. That aside, lesser fees and ease of remittance is a huge relief for the unbanked population.
1958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2017, 02:31:20 PM
Let them hate it. Let them go back to being fiat slaves. Only those of us who realize bitcoins potential will reap it's reward. So we are some of the few main adopters and if they don't wanna climb sbosrd then they will cry later. When you have made lots of money from Bitcoin then they will see. I don't have time for ignorant people. They just get in the way and rarely contribute to anything.
Some people will never see anything good in something and it becomes a waste of precious time trying to change such people, because the same time could  have been put into much more productive use, like making more Bitcoin. Actually the best response to haters is massive success, that way, they are forced to swallow their words.
1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 09, 2017, 01:17:14 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

Bitcoin as a source of income can really be a good help to anyone. In terms of online profit, a lot of community in this industry has been recovered anyhow to their financial problems. But its not a good idea to live your job at once when you are starting here in this industry.
Most people are only managing to get by with their boring 9 - 5 and as soon as something more rewarding turns up, they waste no time to thrown in the towel. The emergence of Bitcoin obviously have lowered the stack and brought in lots of opportunity for earning extra income, so the jobless and underemployed can now be gainfully engaged.
1960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 09, 2017, 12:44:44 PM
If you use blockchain, your transaction may take more times than previous record. I have got confirmed my unconfirmed transaction after 8 days. I don't think Bitcoin will not die soon.
Lol maybe due to the deep disappointment due to the lack of bitcoin as the confirmation time can make the user go and if it keeps on going the user can run out and bitcoin will die?

I have noticed that, though people are aggrieved by the delays in transaction confirmation and high fees, they nevertheless remain stuck with Bitcoin, because on trying elsewhere - the altcoins, reality soon dawn on them that no place is actually like home. For a thousand and one times, doomsayer had foreseen the last days of Bitcoin, but would they ever learn, Bitcoin is answers to many question bothering man, anyone suggesting it is going to die now or in years to come, truly lacks understanding of what Bitcoin really is.
