Interesting news, significant part of Azovstal defenders, including main personalities returned to Ukraine after exchange of POV's with Russia
https://t.me/KremlCirk/2206?single
It's also reported that Russian puppet Viktor Medvechuk was given to Russia after exchange.
Also, remember 3 foreign troops which had to get death penalty in DPR? Now they also got liberated:

1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 21, 2022, 09:04:16 PM
I think that there are more than enough races in the USA next season. We don't need 3 races there. They could have made an effort to bring back some loved tracks to the calendar. For example adding the Turkish GP would be really great. It has one of the greatest tracks in F1 and drivers enjoy racing there also. But I assume that Turkish officials are having problems with the agreement now. Actually they have also seemed very eager to bring Formula 1 back there again. Maybe we would see it back in case a race is cancelled.
Completely agree. Austin track is good, but I don't have good impression about Miami GP and I'm sceptical about Las Vegas track. Also, I'm not big fan most of tracks in Middle East like Bahrain, Abu Dhabi or Qatar. Old school tracks with some special charm is way better for me. I really miss Istanbul, Hockenheimring or Nurburgring. But offcourse, USA is Middle East tracks have much more attractive commercial offers for Liberty Media.
BTW, remember before Covid pandemic they had listed Vietnam GP in calendar, but later it got cancelled few times. As I understand, F1 aren't planning to race there anymore.

Wups..  Yup you're right.  No wonder the market is mostly blank except for race winner.  Lol.  I got the dates wrong as I saw Sept 30 for FP1 and I just thought it's gonna be this weekend.  :/  So that's gonna be a no UFC, no EPL and no F1 weekend.  Meh...  Time to go out and touch the grass I guess.

Anyway, does anybody have any suggestions for some good sporting events to watch and make small bets on for fun?
Yeah, I also was sure that Singapore GP this weekend. Pretty empty weekend. Maybe Laver Cup tennis might be interesting to watch and bet if you're looking for alternative other than Nations League.
1943  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Preev is down, Im happy to announce the official launch of Pnnv.com on: September 21, 2022, 08:01:33 PM
http://preev.com is up! Now what? Continue PNNV.com development to replace Preev.com or do something different?
It's up now now, but there is no guarantees that it wont go down again after month or two. I think it would be good to continue development of new websites. And it's always good to have an alternative.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 21, 2022, 07:56:22 PM
To summarize everything, it was great 3 weeks of basketball. Many upsets, amazing individual performances of superstars. Unfortunately, things got ruined be terrible mistakes of referees and poor my country performance.
If you want to re-live some emotions, I suggest to watch this recap:
https://youtu.be/ciglN6E3Mv8
Next international tournament is World Cup 2023 in Japan, Indonesia and Philippines. And clubs basketball already starts in upcoming weeks.
14 wins and 15 losses. It's not bad. I didn't even feel a loss in my budget for this league. Actually, there may be little profit because of the high odds given to underdogs.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing. It would be interesting to check my stats, but I'm a bit lazy to dig in my bets history Cheesy.
1945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 21, 2022, 07:42:44 PM
Interesting logic of Russia. Today they announced that over 5900 their troops were killed in Ukraine. If these numbers would be real (who would dare to not believe what Russians are saying), why they needed mobilization?
And why they didn't accepted these news positively? It's easy to be Z-patriot at home, far away from front, but now when there is risk for you to be sent there, all patriotism is gone.

Ukraine already 'voted' that these oblasts are part of Ukraine. BTW, the Ukrainian army controls some of the territories in these oblasts.

How do Russians plan to conduct the referendum in these oblasts? Total bullshit.
Actually, Russia don't have full control of none of these oblasts, except Luhansk. Most ridiculous situation in Zaporizhia oblast where main city of oblast - Zaporizhia is under control of Ukraine. Zaporizhia People's Republic without Zaporizhia.
1946  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 20, 2022, 09:18:17 PM
So the "people's republics" all announced referendums (on the subject of joining Russian Federation) to take place within the next few days, and Putin was supposed to make a TV appearance, presumably to speak on the subject. The expectation is that of course these territories will be formally annexed by Russia and this will open a legal pathway for military draft/mobilization/special slaughter operation or whatever they will call it. Putin's speech has been postponed though, likely until tomorrow.
IMO, mobilization is unlikely now. Interesting why Putin's message was cancelled or postponed, but I think that he just would say something about these referendums. But mobilizations now is unlikely.
But fact that referendums is announced just few days before it will happen, it shows how desperate these occupants is. They don't even try to make things look like in legitimate referendum.  They think that if they will be part of Russia, it will stop counteroffensive of Ukraine.
1947  Other / Meta / Re: What's minor thing that you find appreciative on Bitcointalk? on: September 20, 2022, 07:25:43 PM
Discourse nearly got it right. It's fairly easy to add additional content to it, but the default implementation has too much fancy crap going on, which ultimately makes me hating the software. If you aren't aware what Discourse is, it's probably one of the most popular forum software in recent years. I've got to use it with certain forums, since I need answers now, and again.

Like I said though, I don't find this forum software too outdated. It does the job, without anything annoying me too much. What I would love to see is two factor authentication, just for peace of mind. Would need to be implemented correctly though, which would be a concern.
Yeah, I know Discourse, I use several forums with this software. I also like IPS Focus forums. But IMO, things which fits for other forums, it doesn't neccessarily will work well on Bitcointalk. Especially when forum moves to new software, such things almost never happens smoothly. After such changes it happens often that some old content aren't displayed properly.
Bitcointalk software may be outdated, but it works well in general. But fact that in 2022 we still don't have 2FA is sad.
1948  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update - need your review! on: September 19, 2022, 08:14:28 PM
Personally I only need Bitcoin and few main altcoins, but people need for something more will appreciate this feature. I have tested it for several coins and it worked well. Everything is clear with Ethereum and BNB, but why exactly Solana is shown on the top? Just curious.
And don't you consider to monetize website? Personally I wouldn't mind to see one or tow banners which cover at least some expenses.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2022, 07:29:01 PM
Seems that I'm not alone who completely forgot about this pool, so, thanks for reminder. When you play in so many pools, it's easy to forget something, especially after such long break. It was nice surprise for me to see that I'm on 3rd place.
@buwaytress, some bald predictions, I completely disagree about Poland - Netherlands prediction, but I think that backing Hungary makes sense, considering situation in group.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 18, 2022, 08:52:46 PM
I completely agree with the consistency and yeah it's not easy.
-snip

yeah, consistency is all, and you do not have to win any round to win the season, you just need to be in upper half every round

one or two rounds down have to be, but several in the row can put you down, and decrease moral for play, and then it is not easy to recover and go up on the table
I can relate about consistency. Today I won my second Yellow Cap in 7 rounds, but I'm just in 20th position. Simply few other rounds were really poor for me. Though, I wouldn't say that this round was great for, I simply benefited that there is less games in this round.
Now we go into international break and Arsenal is still leading. Like I said already - stop the count! Cheesy
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 18, 2022, 08:46:16 PM
Spain is Kings of Europe again. Spain dominated game from first minutes till the end, at one point leading by more than 20 points. France made comeback in end of 2nd half - beginning of 3rd, but Spain still managed to control game. Juancho Hernangomez, aka Bo Cruz is MVP of final with 27 points and incredible 7 of 9 3pointers made (77% accuracy). His brother Willy becomes MVP of tournament.
Referees today didn't decided winners, but they worked terrible today and in whole tournament. That ghost foul against Brown when nobody didn't touched him and he simply slipped shows level of referees in a nutshell.
3rd place game was not very exciting. Germany controlled game as expected, though respect for Poland for making comeback and keeping close till the end.First Germany medal since 2005 and after Nowitzki era. Now they oficially returned to basketball elite.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: September 18, 2022, 05:49:39 PM
Game between PSV and Feyenoord was sick. 4:3 result says everything about game, both teams simply forgot what is defense. It's first PSV win against Feyenoord since 2018, if I'm not mistaken their didn't managed to win last 9 games in all competitions.
Ajax suffered first defeat this season. They scored early goal against AZ, but hosts were able to respond with 2 goals. Before this loss Ajax had 4 clean sheets in a row and some huge wins. Now they go into international break with 18 points, sharin 1-2 places PSV.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 17, 2022, 11:18:04 PM
Today is big day, final of Eurobasket 2022 between France and Spain. If France were one of favorites before tournament, maybe not the main one, it was difficult to expect that Spain will reach final. I don't support any of these teams, I'm going to enjoy final as neutral spectator, but I think that both teams deserved to win trophy.
In Bronze medal game I don't see much chances for Poland, with all respect. Despite loss in semifinal, Germany should be extremely motivated, it's chance for them to win first medal since 2005 and they have chance to do it at home soil.

I really didn't expect such poor performance from Poland. In the end, they defeated one of the favourites in the previous round by 90-87. Slovenia are a better team than France in the end so I was expecting another competitive game between Poland and France. But France dominated all quarters and won by an absurd score like 95-54. There was no player who got 10+ points at Poland. I wonder what was the reason behind their playing this much ineffective after fighting with everything they had against Slovenia. Every player at France scored points by the way which was like a dream for them. Yabusele was the most scorer with 22 points.
Nothing surprising about Poland. Maybe 41 points is a bit too big loss, but it was easy to expect that they will lose by at least 20 points. Look at their squad, they don't have any NBA and Euroleague players, it's difficult to expect that they will overperfrom two games in a row against elite teams. It seemed like Slovenia understimated Poland in beginning and also Poland players probably weren't able to recover full after this game.
1954  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 17, 2022, 10:55:03 PM
^^^ Obviously you don't care about the truth. How do we know? You said "who cares?"

If you have proof that Russia did it, great. But you really tarnish the appearance of your own honesty by saying something like 'who cares?'.

Cool
Ok, tell the truth, it would be interesting to hear version from alternative reality. If city was under Russian control for most part of war, who killed all these civilians? Do you want to say that it was done by Ukraine to smear Russian army?
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: September 17, 2022, 10:27:53 PM
I haven't saw such boring game like Barcelona - Elche for very long time. Everything is ok, Barca won easy, but Elche looked like amateur team. They got red card early and parked bus then. It's common thing for underdogs, but I barely can remember games when even biggest underdogs failed to make attempt to make dangerous attack.
Can't understand Valencia - one round they destroy Getafe, then lose against Rayo without any questions and now beat Celta so easy. Seems that whole season for them will be full ups and downs
Last game before international game between Atletico and Real. I refrain from predictions, but I hope that Real will drop first points. Villarreal - Sevilla should be interesting game too.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2022/23 on: September 17, 2022, 10:09:42 PM
Very interesting round, it doesn't happen often that 2 of 3 big teams drop points in same round, playing against underdogs. Porto ended game with Estoril 1:1. They were down 1:0 big part of game, until referee gave late penalty after Estoril played handball. So, Porto managed to take point after scoring penalty 99th minute.
Sporting continues their poor performance, now they lost to Boavista 2:1. Sporting player Nuno Santos made amazing Rabona style assist, but it didn't saved them. Though, IMO, referee later gave questionable penalty in favour of Boavista, you can judge yourself:
https://youtu.be/xB6iM61_r1s?t=204
Now Benfica have good chance to run away a bit, they will play with Maritimo tomorrow.

I already know that Russian trolls will start to scream that's another fake like Bucha, but who cares what they say? And I'm afraid that with more cities getting liberated, we will see more such terrible things.
And just look at this video, Erdogan supported Putin Putler by holding his hand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVnbi16JCTU There is two versions: either Putin needed help to walk, or another version that feelings between them is really warm. I thought that Russia values traditional family.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 16, 2022, 09:42:09 PM
Spain - Germany, what a great game, both teams were worth to reach final. But Sergio Scariolo is probably best coach in history of international basketball. Before tournament Spain were ranked somewhere 6-8th in power rankings. But Scariolo with this team without much talent reached another final. Today it looked that Germany took initiative few times, but Spain always were able to respond them
France - Poland, not much waht to say about this game, but win by 41 point in semifinal is a bit too much. But it was difficult to expect that team like Poland can overperform against elite opponents two games in 3 days.
Spain - France final, repeat of Eurobasket 2011 final, two classic European powerhouses. I don't really know what team I will support, probably I'll just enjoy final as neutral spectator.

For Poland, the fairy tale is over.
Not over yet, they will play for bronze medals. But even if they will lose against Germany, getting into Top 4 is achievement that nobody didn't expected from them
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 16, 2022, 09:34:59 AM
So, today we have both semifinals of Eurobasket. First game between Poland and France. Personally, I don't believe that Poland can make another surprise. France is very solid team with deep squad and unlike Slovenia, they don't depends on one player performance. Also, they have so much luck this tournament. But I expect that Poland will keep close most part of the game.
Germany - Spain. Hosts have great chance to reach final. Spain is understimated again, like usual this tournament. I refrain from predictions on this game.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: September 15, 2022, 10:19:14 PM
There is not many surprising result in this round, unlike in Europa league. Biggest surprise for me is Pyunik win 2:0 against Slovan. I considered Pyunik as weakest team in group, so, this result may mix lot of things in this group. Basaksehir unexpected easy beat Fiorentina 3:0. Didn't watched game, but from stats it looks like not most exciting match without many dangerous moments. Not the best start of tournament for Viola, jst 1 point after 2 games.
I expected that Slavia will beat Ballkani much easier than they did. Ballkani were leading twice, but Slavia managed to respond fast. All 5 goals were scored in 1st half. while 2nd half belongs to Slavia completely.
Disappointed about Zalgiris loss. They were not that far away from reaching draw with group favorites Basel.
