Great last round for me. Finally I won my game after so many draws. And by winning last game I didn't let my opponent to take 1st place in league - sorry @jeremypwr Cheesy. Also, taking freebet makes last round even more fun. 6th place, in general I'm happy about my result.
Thank you guys for this competition and doing all hard work, spending time which you can dedicate to your families or simply rest. And also Sportsbet for generous support - without them this league probably wouldn't happen. I'm in for next season without any questions.

So, today is the day. First we're starting with 3rd place between Monaco and Barcelona. I'm not sure what's the point of this game. It will be about which team will find motivation. I think this game means more for Monaco.
And final between Olympiakos and Real. Despite everything what Real did in semifinal, I'm still favouring Oly. Mainly because they have who can stop Tavares - it's Moustapha Fall. Also, they will have huge support, at least 7000 fans arrived to Kaunas.

How its nobody talking about Leipzip win? With this lose of Bayern Munich Borussia dortmund have in their hands the opportunity to finally win the championship, what a gift they receive from RB leipzip, i dont think they deserve that gift but well, lets see how it ended.
I agree with @1miau, I'm afraid that Dortmund will waste their opportunity, it wouldn't be first time. I don't have favorite team in Germany, but I want to see Dortmund winning it. Thei win would be good for league itself. And maybe this Bayern loss shows that Nagelsmann wasn't the problem?
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2022/23 on: May 20, 2023, 11:57:30 PM
Braga ended up drawing the game, and failed to secure the 3rd place in this journey.
Porto has been playing badly, but it will be difficult to lose the game, because something will happen for them to end up winning.
They didn't just failed to secure 3rd place, but also they don't have chances to reach 2nd place. It wasn't most exciting game and 1:1 is fair result. Any, most likely Braga will remain on 3rd place.
Porto managed to win 2:4 against Famalicao, despite that score was 2:2 at halftime. 4 penalties in total were awarded in this game.

If you're missing F1 too much, F1 made cool thing and uploaded some iconic full races to Youtube. For example, 2005 race in Imola and epic fight between young Alonso and Schumacher:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bflJGN9YByM And that sound of cars.
Or 2021 Emilia Romagnia GP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQbXYF5N5Ws Tomorrow they will stream 2008 rainy Monaco GP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRLYSsldne4
Meanwhile cancelation of this GP can be beneficial for teams as it will et let them to savesome money.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IIHF World Championship 2023 on: May 19, 2023, 11:58:35 PM
However, yesterday team Latvia managed to bring a surprise for their fans by beating team Czechia 4:3 in overtime. I've managed to watch that game and it was worth watching, as Czechia managed to score first, but later was the one that have to catch Latvia and survive. But I would not call it "team Latvia" is strong at this tournament. They will do their usual - lose most of games, play draw against average teams, but manage to give a good competition or even beat one strong opponent, later finish tournament at top10 as usually. So team Czechia was their "strongest opponent to beat", meaning they will lose to Switzerland and Slovakia , win Kazakhstan and have draw against Norway Cheesy
Well, so far Latvia is doing very well in this tournament. They already achieved 3rd win in a row after beating Slovenia. They're not wasting points in games where they're favorites and if they will beat Kazakhstan on Saturday, they almost guarantee themselves spot in playoffs.
Meanwhile Kazakhstan made an upset by beating Slovakia after penalties. 6 more games on Saturday and Switzerland - Canada looks most interesting to watch

Maybe I don't understand football, but I just can't understand how it wasn't penalty in Sevilla - Juventus game? Again, Sevilla was better team, but with that penalty awarded they could have won without extra time. Though, can't say that Juve played bad.
Bayer - Roma, expected to see some goals scored, but Mourinho parked his bus at it's finest. You can love or hate Mou, but he reached second UEFA final in a row - last year Conference league and now Europa league
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2022/23 Season on: May 19, 2023, 09:07:29 PM
Olympiakos went through, and it was an easy one for them
Monaco was simply not enough to give them real troubles

El Classico on other end is really interesting, Real is back in lead, after being down in 2nd quarter, will probably be nervous till the end
have no real favorites on F4, but would like to see Olympiakos taking the title before Spaniards
First half wasn't easy for Oly, but mainly because they were fighting with themselves - it was visible that they felt some pressure and tension in beginning. But 3rd quarter was something phenomenal - 27-2 and game was decided. Letting such team like Monaco to score just 2 points in 10 minutes is elite dfense.
Real - Barcelona - another masterclass from Real veterans trio. Especially Chacho Rodriguez who scored 9 points in a row in 4th quarter. And Tavares is such dominating force in European basketball. In 4th quarter Barca completly broke down, started making bad decision. And here we go again, Mirotic, highest paid Euroleague player is empty in crucial game. I think that this loss means end of Jasikevicius era in Barcelona after another not successful attempt to win Eurloeague. I doubt that winning ACB would save him.

So, Final 4 starts in less than 20 minutes, time to bump topic. It'snot easy to predict such single knockout games, almost every year we have at least one big upset. Anyway, I'm backing Olympiacos in first semfinal against Monaco.
Second semifinal - El Clasico. Bookmakers favouring Barca, but I think it's 50/50 game. You simply can't understimate Real after what they have done against Partizan.
1150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 18, 2023, 09:00:35 PM
I want to involve in your imagination. Can you imagine yourself in a  campaign that requires 100+ posts per week? Just think about stake  Grin
Oh no Cheesy In my early days here I've been innsimilar type of campaign like Stake - Yobit. IIRC, they allowed to make up to 20 posts per day. Don't remember how many posts per week I was making, but my record was 12 posts in one day and it already was too much for me.
And to be correct, Stake doesn't requires 100 posts per week, they just allow to make up to 100 posts.

What if your current campaign increases the minimum post to 25 will you get out of the current campaign, now that there are so many applicants and yet few campaigns, that number doesn't matter if you are knowledgeable on the many subjects here in this forum and you are an active poster by habit, your motivation should be your habit not on numbers.
If I will see that I have to push myself too much to reach required quota and that I'm posting just for quantity, then yes, probably I will get out of campaign.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: May 18, 2023, 06:46:54 PM
Fiorentina made their sitaution complicated after conceding late goal against Basel. But I still believe in their win, 1:2 isn't something impossible to make comeback. Basel got destroyed in Swiss league by St. Gallem 1:6 last weekend, but it's not something worth to pay much attention, as they played with second squad.
AZ - West Ham. It should be interesting. Not going to predict outcome, extra time and penalties is likely to see, my pick here is BTTS.

I don't think it was too weird to think about anyone in the finals now, especially not Basel as actually has a lot of champions league experience.
Agree with, afterr all it's not no name clubs. AZ almost every season is playing in UEFA competitions and often giving good fight for big 3 in Eredivisie. As you said, Basel also have lot of experience, though, if they would win whole thing, it would be big upset.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | SFs on: May 18, 2023, 06:37:02 PM
Today in semfinal game between Sevilla - Juventus I'm backing Sevilla. They looked more solid on first leg and now they're playing at home. My pick for this game is Sevilla to qualify @1.73.
Bayer - Roma looks so difficult to predict, Roma having minimal advantage from 1st leg is factor, but it can disappear so quickly. Personally, I would prefer to see Roma in the final.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: May 17, 2023, 09:00:46 PM
Damn, 4:0, nobody didn't saw it coming. What a performance from City, they completely outplayed Real who barely had chances.
Though, Real had one moment that could change game when Kroos hit crossbar when score still was 1:0. And just few minutes later City scored second goal and made Real situation very complicated.
Now it's time for Pep finally to take CL trophy with City.

Wow now Djokovic is out too, that tennis question was harder then expected.  Grin Grin Grin

he should retire at this point, hes becoming a disgrace ....

Yeah, perhaps he should, Federer saw the writings on the wall, Father time is undefeated.
Djokovic to retire - I hope you're kidding? He won AO, he is No.1 despite that he played in limited number of tournaments and now to retire? While Federer retired being 40 years old, 5 years older than Nole, barely able to play due to injuries.
Meanwhile Nadal won't play in Roland Garros - I'm afraid it's the end.

(and Wimbledon points were not counted to this 3200 points, due to last year no points at Wimbledon, because they didn't let Medvedev and Rublev compete (not sure about this year stance, dough))
They will be allowed to play this year.

The GP of Imala has been deleted due to the alluvium going on near the city.

It has been deleted and not postponed.

Yeah I have also read the news about this decision. It looks like the area has been flooded and the officials are having big problems on taking things under control after this serious incident. They are worried about the weekend as well so they thought it would be the best to cancel this weekend instead of postponing it to a certain date. The Grand Prix can still be organized again in some part of the season later on of course. But for now the next race is the Monaco GP which is a week later.

We have another street race up next and this one is a really difficult one for the drivers as well because overtakes are near impossible. It looks like we will have another GP in Monaco with big tactical wars.
Emilia Romagnia GP will not happen this season, F1 isn't going to move it to new date.
This announcement is shock for me, I had no idea what's happening in Italy now and I was already wating for race weekend. But you understand that things is serious when they cancel whole GP, F1 isn't on their priorities list now.
Next race is Monaco when most things will be decided on Saturday and only big game changer on Sunday can be safety car.

Lot of things were already said about today's game, so I can't tell something new about it. Just waiting for game worth final, great to see both teams having best possible line ups. IMO, giving 1.55 odds for City is disrespect for Real from bookmakers. I'm favoring City, but when you see how Real is doing Champions league, it's simply stupid to understimate them.

Hey OP, I'm just sayin' now:  you've made 355 posts since you started this thread and from what I can see you've still got members (in sig campaigns of course) congratulating you with extremely vapid posts.  You might want to consider locking this thread so it doesn't keep getting bumped indefinitely.  No insult to you, but I'm not a big fan of self-congratulatory threads and certainly not ones that turn into shitpost magnets.
Yeah, you're right, it was right time to do it long time ago, but didn't bothered to do it.

FYI a week ago I hit 10000 posts, yay me!!!!
Congrats! Wink
1158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 16, 2023, 09:17:46 PM
So my "Russian friends" what will you do now that all 6 Kinzhal "unstoppable" hypersonic missiles were all shot down in the latest attack in Kyiv during last night? It looks like your paranoia is at the highest levels attacking civilians with hypersonic missiles committing war crimes in pure "sun light" as everybody can see the videos of such horrendous war crimes.Even France who was neutral now is clearly engaging in helping Ukraine and the fact that the Patriot air defense system shot down all Kinzhal missiles says a lot about how the war is going for the Russian side.
So, seems that one Kinzhal that they shot down previously wasn't just lucky coincidence. Meanwhile Russia is bragging that thye destroyed Patriot sytem with Kinzhal. But as always, reality is a bit different. Yes, partially it's true, but they didn't hit key things of system - radar, control station or battery. It was just one of 8 launcher. Now it's only question of damage they made.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/05/16/politics/patriot-missile-damage-ukraine/index.html
https://twitter.com/noclador/status/1658416550188130310?t=E21VcS4tLcw5fLNAsdvVPg&s=19
Seems that Patriot became main target for Russia in Ukraine and they desperately will try to destroy it as it's really game changer in the sky of Ukraine.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: May 16, 2023, 09:03:40 PM
A bit of a dull first half, as can be expected. Diaz should have scored early from Milan's bright start but after that, no more attempts, very even game. Mikhi's injured and off so no more heroics, should be a gap to exploit... not counting on it much though. Really need Tonali and Leao to step up in second half to give us fireworks, right guys?
2nd half wasn't more exciting too. Milan wasn't even near from starting comeback and Martinez goal left no questions remaining. Inter were much better side in both games and seems that CL semifinal was above level of Milan. Still feeling disappointed that they kicked out Napoli, Napoli - Inter probably would be much more sciting. Offcourse, not talking about current Napoli, playing in hangover mode.
1160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 16, 2023, 08:48:11 PM
My current campaign have optimal post quota - 15. I can reach it easily without forcing myself to post in order just to get paid. I usually make about 20 posts per week, sometimes up to 25. But sometimes when I have busy week, reaching even 20 posts would be difficult.
Why I'm posting above required quota? Because I just don't count my posts, signature campaign don't change my posting habbits. Just on last day of week I check how many oosts I have made to be sure that have enough to get paid. Now I can't imagine myself in campaign which would require 25-30 posts.
