1161  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you think faucets are dying? on: May 16, 2023, 08:19:18 PM
Faucets are dying indeed, and it's happening for few years already. Best indicator of it is activity on this board. Basically, it's dead. There just few posts in whole month, while in prime time first page of board were getting filled every day.
In prime time of faucets when there was microwallets like Faucetbox or Faucethub it was possible to earn something significant, now getting few Satoshi requires much more effort and people aren't bothered to do it. For owners faucets never was very profitable business, well maybe only when Adsense was still allowed. But now I imagine that monetizing faucets is even more difficult, especially with low traffic. Faucet era ended few years ago and I doubt that it will ever come back.

earlier, they would pay peanuts.

now they don't even do that..
Now they only pay shells of peanuts Smiley.
1162  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone used WebMoney before? on: May 16, 2023, 07:45:51 PM
I have used WebMoney in past, but it was long time ago. I never had any issues with service itself, but I agree with others that's very inconvenient to use, UI isn't is one of their advantages. From comments here seems that they haven't improved much in all these years.
If you're from country that haven't imposed sanctions against Russia, there shouldn't be any problems for you to use it.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2022/23 on: May 15, 2023, 09:15:59 PM
It is the 79th minute and Porto is not doing much more than Casa Pia honestly as the stats shows somewhat of an equal game.I would love though for Porto to win as they would keep mathematically open for another game at least the Liga Portugal although I doubt that anyone else except Benfica deserves to win it more than anyone else and simply for because what they have given to the fans so far, better plays than any other team in Liga Portugal and their performance in European competitions was much better than any other team here.

I only hope for Porto to win their game for the people who have bet on them.
Porto won game and they deserved it. They were creating moments, but luck wasn't on their side, Casa Pia goalkeeper also made some big saves, but after all Porto achieved goal on additional time and idn't let Benfica to clebrate title already. Meanwhile Casa Pia continue longest winless streak in league.
I don't believe in Porto chances, but it would be nice if Sporting will win against Benfica this week. It would make last round interesting, unlike in almost all top leagues winners is known few rounds before end of season.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IIHF World Championship 2023 on: May 15, 2023, 08:02:38 PM
I looks like until play-off game starts, there will be low interest to this tournament. So far there were no big news (despite team Hungary managed to make one goal against USA Cheesy probably their first goal against such strong team in their history) . Only team USA outplayed champions, team Finland 4-1, but these are only preliminary stage, so everything is still in future. Btw, if a team bets strongest team in prelims, they always lose to them in play-off.
Today it was really fun day, Canada won against Slovakia just after penalty shootout, Germany lost to USA 2:3. One of the most awaited game of group stage between Finland and Sweden also ended with penalties were Sweden won. And hosts Latvia achieved their ever win against Czechia in World Championship, they won after OT 4:3.
It's sad to see Germany still with 0 points after 3 games because all their games with favorites wree really good.

I submited my answers for last round, I desperately need to win finally, but it will be difficult as my opponent is above me in the table. Yeah, it's a bit sad that you didn't added Euroleague, NBA isn't my cup of tea, but I understand that it's much bigger thing than Euroleague.

wow, an unexpected result from a match Marozsan F. Vs Alcaraz C., Alcaraz lose in 2 straight sets to Marozsan which is ranked 135 in ATP.
i think this is his first loss in round 32 from 7 events that he joins and I even pick him for the final vs Djokovic -_-
It's huge upset, 23.00 odds for Marozsan says a lot. Getting eliminated in Masters is painful, but considering that Roland Garros begins next week, maybe it's not that bad thing, now he can fully prepare and be fresh on main clay tournament.
Alcaraz getting eliminated is big game changer in our game, but I wouldn't say that it made task to pick finalists and winner easier.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 14, 2023, 09:14:19 PM
Congrats to Feyenoord for winning Eeredivisie for the first time since 2016/17. Fully deserved it, despite that throughout the season many people were quite sceptical about their chances. Today's game against Go Ahead Eagles looked like celebration party.
Groningen -Ajax game was abandoned after already relegated Groningen fans started throwing flares and made pitch invasion. I already lost count how many similar accidents we had in Netherlands this season. Fderation have to do something to solve this problem.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: May 14, 2023, 08:57:28 PM
What can be better than winning La Liga title at stadium of your main city rival after simply destroying them? Probably only doing same thing at Santagio Bernabeu can be better Cheesy. Anyway, this season leaves mixed feelings. Today we saw face of Barca that we missed in many games this season. Dominating, high scoring, not winning games 1:0 without making many moments and having some luck. So, congrats to all Barca fans here. Visca Barca!
EDIT
It's a bit sad that game didn't ended 4:0 and Barca let Espanyol to score twice, but it doesn't matter anymore. And what a shame that Espanyol fans attacked Barcelona players while they celebrated title. But what else you can expected from these rats. I hope that this shameful club will relegate to Segunda and will stuck there for long.
And Atletico - have no words about them today. They looked amazing recently, scoring 3-5 goals in recent games and now they somehow managed to lose against Elche who already relegated maybe few months ago.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2023 discussion: Who is your favorite? on: May 14, 2023, 08:09:05 PM
Next day after Eurovision CHA CHA CHA still sounds in my head. Similar like POE POE POE POE POE, but I'm surprised that Austria finished so low and both people and judges didn't liked them.

I'm curious about which betting platforms were accepting bets for the Eurovision song contest?
I think that most of platforms had Eurovision, after all it's big thing in Europe.

Finland almost won after being so behind after judges voted. For some reason I don't like judges voting they tend to vote for more known names.
Wouldn't say that they almost won, difference between Sweden and Finlandwas not few points, but almost 60.

Loreen's song was ok, with that voice you can make anything sound more than decent, but i think it was travesty that Sweden won. Finland would have won by landslide a with old rules without judges. I mean even the audience was chanting CHA CHA CHA loudly right after Sweden got their win, so that must have been an awkward moment for Loreen as käärijä had won the hearts of the public already.

I honestly feel like this might have something to do with the fact that next year when Sweden gets to host Eurovision (they are good hosts so it will be great tv), Abba turns 50 years. And sweden wasn't top favourite in public vote of any country. That seems like judges would have been paid off and whole thing planned.

And i lost money by betting on Käärijä, but i can't complain for that as that was exciting as hell to the end.
Don't want to make conspiracy theories, but voting of judges always been contraversial part of Eurovision. Especially when you see such huge difference between people and judges voting. Why they can't leave decide it for people, why some expets is needed who pretend to understand music better? Have nothing against Loreen, but Kaarija won my heart too and voting without judges would be less contraversial.
1169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 13, 2023, 11:43:08 PM
Something is happening in Bryansk oblast - Russian aircrafts started to fall there. 4 aircrafts just in one day had their last flight - Su-34, Su-35 and two Mi-8 helicopters. Seems that they were hit by Patriot system.
https://english.alarabiya.net/News/world/2023/05/13/Helicopter-crashes-in-Russia-s-Bryansk-near-border-with-Ukraine
Meanwhile Ukraine continue their progress around Bahmut in North and South directions.

Russia seems to be letting their performance do the talking unlike most of the rest of the world who seem totally focused on 'selfie' style chestbeating past the level of absurdity.  Trying to puff yourself up in the eyes of others is a sure sign of fatal insecurity.  It's the world live in, I guess, and Ukraine is a poster-child for making their whole existence up out of ridiculous Hollywood-style fakery and fiction.
You're so delusional. In all years from Soviet times Russia needed to show their power with all these parades. And now on second year of war in Ukraine they decided not to make huge parade and let their performance to talk. Strange. BTW, what performance? What significant they have achieved so far. And for some reason rest of world don't need to held such parades to show their power.

Apparently, the RF psychos decided to celebrate Eurovision by sending a missile to the home town of the group representing Ukraine right before they started the performance. There is nothing anyone could say that speaks louder than this nor better describe what has the RF become under Putin and the court of Psychopaths that currently compete for being the Chief Psychopath.
Their actions already can't surprise me... Videos of very powerful explosions is spreading on Telegram, but from what I understood it's fake, but terrorist state really hit something in Ternopil.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and How Do you watch live boxing and MMA matches on: May 13, 2023, 11:21:44 PM
Don't really watch much boxing or MMA. PPV isn't big thing in my country. When it comes to UFC, all events is shown on paid sports TV. Boxing usually is on DAZN, their subscription is really cheap, but I'm not that big fan to subscribe. I have good IPTV, so, I find all events there.
Live podcast - WTF is that, how you can watch some talking heads instead of actual fight? And all these stream on Facebook, Youtube, Twitch and etc, usually quality of it is such terrible and it's very likely that stream will be taken off at most interesting moment because of copyrights.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2022/23 on: May 13, 2023, 11:14:15 PM
I haven't seen worse work of referee than in Sporting - Maritimo game. Additional time, Sporting leads 1:2, Maritimo attack. Referee assistant raises flag because foul, but main referee don't react, Sporting players basically stop to defend and Maritimo scores a goal. Then referee shows red card to Adan and goes to watch VAR. And then he cancel goal after review. Ridiculous, but actually referee lost control of game long time ago. Something what we discussed many times about level of referee in Portugal.
After this win Sporting still have chances to reach Braga on 3rd place. Meanwhile Benfica had easy game against Portimonense and won 5:1. Next week they're going to face Sporting, but it's almost impossible for them to lose title.
Braga - Santa Clara and Porto - Casa Pia on Sunday.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2023 discussion: Who is your favorite? on: May 13, 2023, 09:54:34 PM
We saw all songs and now voting is live. I want to say few words about songs that I liked or stuck to my memory.
Austria - really catchy song that stucks in head and I think we're going to hear it on radio after Eurovision.
Poland - if it would be singed live, that would be one of strongest songs. Nothing complicated, just simple pop song that fits to Eurovision
Sweden - main favorite, but I wouldn't say that was my favorite song
Italy - seems that they simply can't send bad songs to Eurovision
Ukraine - not bad, but for me their folk style songs fits better to Eurovision than elecetronic ones like this
Norway - is it only for looks that I heard something very similar before?
Isreal - they're getting hyped much, but at least for me it's nothing special, though Noa Kirel is really beautiful.
Croatia - song that you can love or hate. Personally I liked it a lot, but they're not going to win
UK - they have good song this year, but live performance on stage looks weak.

Really nice how UK included legendary songs made in Liverpool. Especially You'll never walk alone - it gave me goosbumps
1173  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 12, 2023, 10:22:11 PM
I've beem using Imgur for many years, now when they started to give proxy errors I thought that's time to switch to this service. What I can say - everything works as supposed to work. So, goodbye Imgur.
Just one question, maybe I missed something, but what if people not from Bitcointalk will start to use TalkImg? From what I understood from FAQ post, image simply won't be displayed if I will try to post it on Bitcoin.com forum for example?
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IIHF World Championship 2023 on: May 12, 2023, 10:01:31 PM
Looks like it has become popular to run tournaments in several countries. IIHF today, FIFA World Cup in Canada, US and Mexico. Amazing that tournament is hosted again in Riga and Tampere, as these two hosted 2021 and 2022 tournaments Cheesy Lucky locals, they have huge chances to watch IIHF live.

As pictures shows, my predictions are the following, from both groups first 4 teams gonna advance to play-off. It wont be a surprise if teams Canada, USA, Finland and Sweden are the strongest, but I am gonna focus more on Switzerland and Germany. These two happens to surprise me with their games from year to year.
It's already common thing to held IIHF to hold championship in tow different countries, probably it's a bit cheaper for hosts. I read that tickets is quite expensive in Riga, despite that there was many spectators in arena. I agree with your predictions more or less, usually group stage is just warm up for big teams. While teams on two lowest lines is going to fight to avoid relegation.
Opening day was interesting. Sweden had difficult match against Germany and scored their only goal just in 3rd period. Bad day for hosts, Latvia had no chance against Canada, while USA made an upset by beating Finland. In 1st period of Czechia - Slovakia we saw 5 goals, but there was not much action in 2nd and 3rd periods and no goals were scored.
Friday results and schedule for Saturday:

1175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 12, 2023, 08:06:45 PM
Didn't you like Yars mobile strategic complexes at the parade? More serious than tanks.
Yars isn't something what they didn't showed in previous year. But I'm wondering where things like Iskander, Buratino, Buk, Pantsir, S-400 and all other stuff from previous parades? I don't even talk about that they had to cancel air part of parade. Year ago who could have thought that Russia will fear of drone attacks on Red Square.

I am going to quote this post. I am sure that when the Ukrainian offensive that is not happening and will never happen because it was all scam results in the RF army "leaving non strategic positions, that were never wanted, as a gesture of goodwill and as a part of a wider plan that Putin has for the world" we will be able to re-discuss the concept of "victory" and "defeat".
Exactly. It already happened in past when they even tried to show retreats as their win. Goodwill gesture, strategical retreat and similar shit. But I noticed that trolls here tend to ignore such events or make conspiracy theories about it.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / IIHF World Championship 2023 on: May 12, 2023, 10:10:33 AM

On 12th May in Tampere and Riga Ice Hockey World Championship will begin. 16 teams in 2 groups will play. One of hosts - Finland is reigning Champions. While Slovenia and Hungary got promoted from lower division. Most of teams don't have their birghtest stars because of ongoing NHL playoffs. Here is outright odds for tournament winners. Nothing new, Finland, Sweden and Canada is main favorites to win.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | QFs on: May 11, 2023, 11:00:55 PM
as expected West Ham won the game, but it was not an easy game for West Ham who during the game were losing until the 67th minute when they were lucky enough to benefit from a penalty and with that the game was tied, but West Ham got lucky again in the 5th minute when they scored the second goal and with that they just needed to manage the result well until the end of the game, a fact and this is not a result that guarantees West Ham in the second leg, they were the first to concede a goal and were lucky enough to benefit from a penalty kick i.e. the opponent is strong, it should not be underestimated because they still have a chance of winning and moving on to the final

the game that, in a way, left us surprised with the result, the game between fiontentina against baseeia, fiorentina scored first, they were supposed to be able to defend the result well and leave this game with a victory, but what we saw was basel scoring a goal tie and to make matters worse, fiorentina had the misfortune of conceding a goal in the 92 + 2 minutes, it was too late for fiorentia to react, with this defeat i very much doubt that fiorentina will be able to win in the second leg, i see baseia in the final, they play better than Fiorentina, and it's a shame that Fiorentina is falling back from performance
I think nobody expected that it will be easy for West Ham - after all, AZ is very solid team, while Hammers is near to relegation zone in EPL. West Ham dominated today's game, but 2nd leg can be completely different story.
That late Basel goal is huge hit for Fiorentina and it can be complete game changer, considering that 2nd leg is played in Basel. Going to away game with negative result is big risk, even when you look more powerful than your opponent on paper.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | QFs on: May 11, 2023, 10:23:02 PM
Just because they managed to beat United doesn't mean that they are great, United scored on their own goal twice, and they had some silly funny mistakes that was humiliating for the fans but they lost because of that in the end which makes Sevilla not that great. We need to understand that it is not going to be that great for them, and they can't really change much about it neither.

It's just how it is and we need to move on. I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case is to make sure that Juventus has high morale, they are getting punishments after punishments from the league which drops the morale sometimes, if they can stop that and keep the players hyped about this game then they could end up with a win without a doubt.
Seems that your comment didn't aged very well Smiley As I said, Sevilla is unpredictable team and this is why I skipped betting on this game. And they were actually better team today IMO, no luck factor like against MU. 1 goal isn't huge difference, but now I see Sevilla as quite significant favorites.
Roma won 1:0 against Bayer, won my bet too. But Roma didn't had significant advantage today, it was game of more or less equal games, everything can happen in 2nd leg.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2023 discussion: Who is your favorite? on: May 11, 2023, 10:03:02 PM
I think that second semifinal was weaker. Only song that I really liked today was Austria, it's really catchy. Poland - no chance that Blanka was singing live and no autotune was used. But it's not surprising that she got into final. Really happy for my country Lithuania as we reached final - I wasn't sure about Monika chances with this song.
Shortly - Denmark, Romania, Iceland, Greece Georgia and San Marino failed to qualify.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | QFs on: May 11, 2023, 10:06:55 AM
I think Juventus will get it, I know that most people think that Sevilla is on a good roll and they have done as well as they hoped for and Juventus has been troubling and have some issues on top of their head and when you combine all those facts together it looks like Juventus will fail. But the reality is that we are not going to really see anything like that, we are going to end up with something much better and that will end up with something much bigger and better for Juventus.

I feel like it is going to end up with a good result eventually for Juventus. When you attack a team from all fronts, you make the players stick together a lot more and that is why I feel like that's going to be the case for this game as well, they will probably get a win.
I really don't know what to expect Sevilla. They're struggling in La Liga, but after all, they eliminated MU. We can expect to see typical 1:0 Juve win, but I'll skip this game.
Roma - Bayer. Here I'm going with Roma win. Mainly because of home factor and also because Mourinho knows very well how to win in cups.
