1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: September 15, 2022, 10:04:01 PM
Indeed, some today's results is really strange, especially from early slot. Lazio getting completely destroyed by Midtjylland. Monaco lost at home against Ferencvaros Feyenoord win isn't surprise, but it was difficult to expect that they will score 6 goals. What's going on with Olympiacos? Another terrible results, loss against Freiburg 0:3 at home. And they got completely outplayed. Dynamo Kyiv loss against AEK is also big upset.
Today I had made some more or less random bets on Europa/Conference league games without thinking much and quite unexpected ended with profit. But in general, betting on early rounds of UEFA EL/ECL games is difficult. Many upsets and some big teams aren't looking into these games 100% seriously now.

good question, I don't even know what to answer, let me to think about it. I like that forum is simple and in general it didn't changed much since days when satoshi was there. Partially, it's disadvantage that forum is a bit outdated, but there is no some fancy shit like on other forums what isn't not needed at all IMO. And merit system, I won't lie, it's good feeling when you get merit.

I don't like the way Reddit (or any social media nowadays) shows information: a computer decides what's most likely to keep your attention on the page (and maximize profits from advertising). I prefer to choose what to read on my own.
You told exactly what I'm thinking. In reddit and social networks like Facebook best content is supposed to be on the top. But in the end, it's not best, but most popular content. And if there is many comments under post, yeah, you'll see top comments, but it's very likely that you will miss many good comments. This is why I prefer chronological order.
1963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA's EuroBasket is rigged with a proof on: September 14, 2022, 10:21:32 PM
LOL, what's the point to rig games in such way and how someone will benefit if 3 games will have identical final result. I add another one thing - 4th games of that day between Greece and Czech Republic ended 94:88 with Greece win. So, 4 winners of 4 that day games scored 94 points. If Czech Republic would have scored 2 points less, all 4 games would have identical result. Also, Czech Republic 4 games  in a row scored 88 points.
Another video for your conspiracy theory, is it also rigged? Time is a flat circle 🌀 and we're living in a matrix! 🤯
https://twitter.com/FIBA/status/1570105579611226115
You're looking for conspiracy theories in wrong place. And yeah, referees control many things, but they can't control how many points will be scored.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 14, 2022, 10:04:58 PM
Today's games were a bit better for me than Tuesday's, but in general, this rounds is not great, not terrible for me. City were trailing most part of game against Borussia, but despite it I was confident that they're going to win. And offcourse, Haaland scored against his former team. And his goal was really amazing. Kinda Zlatan vibes, yeah? Some players probably wouldn't reach such ball with their heads.
It's last time in near future when I trusted Sevilla. Another disappointment from them. Chelsea draw with Salzburg, I don't even know what to say, I still don't like their decision to sack Tuchel. And Juve loss against Benfica, difficult to say something about this game, i didn't watched it. But maybe in general, it's logical, Benfica looking amazing this season so far, they won all their games thi season so far, while Juve is struggling so far.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 14, 2022, 08:46:51 PM
Eurobasket will have new champions. Slovenia got eliminated by Poland, it's biggest upset in this tournament without any doubts and probably best achievement in Poland history. At one point Poland were leading by +20 points and I didn't believed in my eyes what I see. In 3rd quarter Slovenia made comeback and won it 24:6. They already took a lead and it looked that they will run away and will win it by double digits. But Poland didn't gave up and won game. Mateusz Ponitka - triple double, 26 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, you don't see it often in European basketball. It wasn't night of Doncic, just 14 points and fouled out in crucial moments.
So, 3 biggest stars, Doncic, Antetokounmpo and Jokic eliminated.
Italy - France, what a game! Italy had chance to win without overtime, but Fontecchio missed two free throws and and later missed field goal on last attack. France in this tournament have not just lot of luck, but their players have big ball on decisive moments.
Semifinals - Germany - Spain and Poland - France.

Did I hear it right, this will be his last season in Eurobasket.
Don't know, Scariolo expect that he won't retire after Eurobasket. He may be old, but is still clutch player.
1966  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 13, 2022, 09:58:06 PM
I heard from radio news this morning that, Russia soldiers are retrieving (running back) from Ukrainian soldiers. As for me, I thought that the war is over because the hit has been drastically reduce to some extent. I don't know why this war is still on. I believe the war will not extend go far again. What I mean is that, the war will not cause world war 3 again because some people were saying that the war would caused world war which would have involved other world powers and minor countries to support themselves. What do you really think that will stop this fight? I am really tired of hearing these two countries fight. I believed Russia is the side that is still prolonging the war. Although, I do not know who is disobeying the rules to stop the war.
War isn't over and probably end of it isn't close probably. Look at this map, there is % of how much territory of each region is occupied:
https://t.me/The3rdForceUA/9964
In recent days Ukraine achieved significant results in Kharkiv direction and pushed front line forwards by few km in Kherson direction. Butthere is still much to do in Kherson direction, Zaporizhia oblast will be tough too, especially considering that Russia have turned nuclear power plant into imiltary base. I'm not even talking about almost fully occupied Luhanks, territories of Donbas occupied since 2014 and whole Crimea. And it's not only about kicking out Russians from there, forcing them to show goodwill sign and retreat. They also will have to clean up these territories from colaborants who worked in favour of occupants.
1967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: September 13, 2022, 09:18:22 PM
Almost everything is red for me, both in predictor and betting. Sad about Barca result. Not about how we played, but simply too many wasted opportunities. And Bayern isn't that  team which would forgive it, they punish for it without mercy.
Porto, you must be kidding. Getting 0:4 against Brugge at home, how it's even possible? Inter and Atletico losses probably can't be called as upsets, it's one of these 50/50 games. At least Liverpool didn't disappointed.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 13, 2022, 09:11:24 PM
Dirk Nowitzki should be proud. Germany returns to elite after long absence. They scored 107 points against one of the best defense in tournament Greece and eliminated one of main contenders. 17/31 3-pointers, 54%, it's very impressive. Maybe Germany don't have big stars besides Schroder, but they are great as a team. Giannis was solid again, despite getting ejected in 4th quarter. But you simply can't expect to win when you let opponent to score 107.
As FIBA wrote on their page, there is some inevitable things - death, taxes and Spain in the semifinal. Finland looked very solid in first half, even had 15 points lead, but in 2nd half simply dominated. Before tournament not many saw Spain even as medal contenders, but now have not bad chances to win another gold.
Tomorrow Italy - France and Slovenia - Poland. With all respect to Poland, there is no questions about this game. France is favorite against Italy, but Italy already kicked out one favorite, why not to do it another time. It should be amazing game.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 13, 2022, 09:41:19 AM
Can't wait to see Bayern - Barcelona game and Lewa playing against former team. Main question, will he score?  And considering recent form of Bayern, Barca have probably best chance to win in recent years.
I'm going with Porto and Inter ML parlay. I'm also thinking about backing Spurs and Marseille. In Bayer - Atletico game I'll risk with BTTS
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 13, 2022, 09:35:57 AM
So, today we have two 1/4 final games. Spain - Finland and Greece - Germany.
Spain is favorites against Finland. Maybe they are understimated in whole tournament in general, but they have pprobably best coach in tournament and they always look better in playoffs than in group. I expect good fight, but Spain should win by few points.
Greece - Germany. It should be interesting game. Germany looking very solid and they're playing at home, what is big factor. But Giannis is unstoppable. Greece is favoured a bit, but I'm not going to predict who will win.
1971  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: September 12, 2022, 10:28:19 PM
Meanwhile Azerbaijan attacked Armenia after provocations from Armenian side. At least, this is what Azerbaijan side report. According CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) attack against Armenia means attack all alliance countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazkahstan, Kyrgyztan and Tajikistan) Does it means that Russia will get involved there too? After such successful ''special operation'' open another front? Interesting...

https://ru.euronews.com/2022/09/12/armenia-azerbaijan-artillery

Nope, this is a punishment for Ukraine's incessant shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, as a result of which the last reactor was shut down today. Russia was unable to protect the operation of the nuclear power plant and the visit of the IAEA mission did not help either. Now Ukrainians should stock up on patience and gasoline generators, rocket attacks on Ukrainian thermal power plants will be regular.
Nope, it's desperate actions of Russia to hit critical infrastructure after they lost several important cities and thousands of km2 that they were fighting for for several months.
BTW, on Sunday it was planned to held concert of Oleg Gazmanov in Izum:
https://culturemeter.od.ua/gazmanov-peredumal-vystupat-v-izjume-s-koncertom-rossija-zdes-navsegda-172199/
Interesting, why it didn't happened...

1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2022, 09:54:46 PM
yeah, did not expected for whole EPL round to be postponed, not sure if there is a reason that is undercover for this
but locals certainly do, some people expected whole round to be postponed immediately after Queen died, at first moment it was a surprise for me, but after thinking it through, it could be reasonable, if 12-day mourning is on
not sure how this would be played out in other countries, but cannot compare British Royal family with other countries, it is probably most known in the world (maybe Sultan from Brunei, that is pretty popular in RAP songs in Serbia, when talking about wealth and splurge (it is a joke, of course))

I read that EPL also postponed 3 next round games due to lack of police officers - Brighton v Crystal Palace, Chelsea v Liverpool and Man Utd v Leeds. Though, all Championship and lower leagues games will go as planned. And as I understand, other sports like rugby didn't even stopped. Offcourse that we as football fans aren't happy about postponement, especially considering that there is not many alternative dates for it because of Wolrd Cup. But everything is understandable, Queen that ruled country for 70 years dies and national mourning is announced, it doesn't happen every day.
1974  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did you sign a petition to kick Russia from UN? on: September 11, 2022, 11:41:49 PM
As much as I agree with goal of this petition, but there is no point to sign it. C'mon, online petitions is most pointless thing ever made. It has zero power to change something. And it's not even petition as you don't verify your identity while signing it. You have to enter your full name and email. If someone would want, he would be able to sign it thousands times from different emails
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: September 11, 2022, 10:37:16 PM
It already looked that PSV will drop points against Waalwijk, but very late penalty saved them and they won game. AZ - Twente game ended 1:1 and this result reflects game quite well. Feyenoord didn't had any problems in Roterdam derby and won against Sparta 3:0. Yesterday Ajax destroyed Heereneveen 5:0

I also think that PSV will have a long and tough season in this way. Could it have something to do with the new trainer? He has no experience at all, maybe that will play a role now. I can't say if he made a weird choice. There are some injured people at PSV now. They miss Luuk de Jong enormously with his experience and scoring ability. They have no other leader. But it is still early in the season. I don't think the championship is a realistic goal for PSV either. They have to hope to become 2nd and then qualify for the CL. That just won't work season after season.
Why so sceptical about Van Nistelrooy? I don't think that decision to appoint him as coach is wrong. And nothing terrible for them didn't happened yet. Yes, they lost to Twente, but it's decent opponent and it's not shame to lose against themAre they able to fight for title? Time will tell.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA EuroBasket 2022 on: September 11, 2022, 08:59:04 PM
I love this game! Another amazing day in Eurobasket, all 4 games were so good. Italy made biggest upset so far by eliminating one of main contenders Serbia. In the end of 3rd quarter Italy coach Pozzecco got ejected and it's amazing how Italy started to play after it. Maybe Serbia had much more talent, but Italy players played with heart and gave everything. Just watch Pozzecco emotions in the end, unbeleavable. I remember this guy as player, and now as coach he didn't changed at all, he is called La Mosca Atomica not without a reason:
https://twitter.com/BasketNews_com/status/1569027234286997505
Greece - Czech Republic, what a great game, Czech gave great fight. Giannis in the end closed the game, but opponents still didn't gave up. Giannis struggled in previous FIBA tournaments, but now he simply dominate like in NBA.
Finland won against Croatia, I'm not sure that I can call it as upset. I can complain about Lithuania performance, but what Croatia is doing for almost 30 years is simply shame. They always have good player, but they didn't achieved anything since 1995. Lauri Markkanen, what a performance, 43 points 19/29 FG, simply wow!
Ukraine lost against Poland. Poland were underdogs, but they played much more solid in the end.
Interesting coincidence that 3 of 4 today's games ended withsame score 86:94. Only Greece - Czech Republic ended 94:88, Czech scored 2 points too much Cheesy
Now we have 1/4 finals Greece - Germany, Spain - Finland, Poland - Slovenia and France - Italy.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 11, 2022, 08:30:08 PM
In Monza usually you expect much more interesting race... Now Verstappen probably can not arrive to half of remaining races and he still would become champion. But that safety car finish left bad taste in mouth. It didn't decided race winner probably, but it didn't looked good. Maybe it's worth to consider introducing overtime rule like in NASCAR when we have safety car/VSC on final laps.
Russel is called Mr. Consistency not without a reason, another podium for him. It's sad for Ricciardo, he had great chance to get good points after long break, but had to retire. And what a weekend for De Vries. On Friday he was driving Aston Martin, on Saturday morning he was called to Williams to replace Albon. He had not much time to prepare, but he had solid qualifying and now points on his debut race. It's only question now why he don't have regular seat in F1 and what Latifi is still doing there?
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2022 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: September 11, 2022, 08:08:43 PM
Thanks guys! Finally I was able to get up from the bottom, I didn't believed that I will be able to do that this season Cheesy. I lost so many points because I haven't entered my predictions before qualifying in first part of season. I still sometimes forget to do it before qualifying, but this time I did it and I didn't even changed my picks, despite that I wasn't able to predict winner of qualifying.
SC probably wasn't factor which decided winner of race, but finish under SC is a bit ridiculous thing. Maybe it's time to introduce overtime rule like in NASCAR?
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 10, 2022, 11:25:55 PM
There is lot of penalties which mixed grid, but in such track like Monza, especially when it's just 5 position penalty for Verstappen. Well deserved pole for Leclerc, especially because he won it himself and not after penalty of Verstappen. Solid performance of De Vries, he outqualified GOATifi in his first ever qualification.

They left everything behind.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tODnq81o2fg

Next will have a 'strategic withdrawal' from Kherson to protect Crimea.

Then a 'withdrawal' from Donbas to protect Kuban, and from Kuban to protect Moscow, from Moscow to protect Ural mountains etc.
It's fun to watch how Russian propagandists are reacting to counteroffensive. Like Konashenkov today said that withdrawal of troops from Kharkiv oblast is made to boost efforts in Donetsk oblast and achieve main goals of ''special military operation:
https://t.me/uniannet/71600
How many times they already changed goals of this operation''?  How about ''denazification'' and demilitarization of Ukraine?
And I didn't expected such fast progress of this counteroffensive. Russia were fighting for these cities for so much time and they lost it all in few days. 2nd army in the world
