1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: August 02, 2018, 05:27:37 PM
how are sure the altcoin you have choosen to diversify to will recover back especially during this period where the deep price to buy any altcoin is very difficult to predict. I am not saying diversification is bad but you should make sure you take brilliant decision before you diversify. some top altcoin that are now facing massive reduction in price may not return back to previous high peak any time soon. and if the market grow rapidly wide again, there is high probability that the altcoin you hold too will moon provided it is a good project
1982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does positive news have any impact in bitcoin price on: August 02, 2018, 05:18:20 PM
of course positive news have influence on the price of cryptocurrency the depth that it has is the major challenge. just like bad news also have negative influence have effect the price of crypto. I think even though the price of major crypto asset is dropping does not mean none altcoin has gain price increase. when you go to coinmarketcap and click on top gainner you will still find some altcoin that have increase in price and this gain will always be backup by positive news such as project being supported by some large investor, possible listing in more high volume market etc.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you do when someone say bitcoin is illegal thing? on: August 02, 2018, 05:11:11 PM
alot of people feel bitcoin is illegal because its not regulated and any unregulated asset have the chance of being used for bad things not only bitcoin alone. although fiat also too are being used for illegal activities but it may not as easy as cryptos. take for example billions of dollars can be moved from one place to the other without any trace of money laundering but if fiat is being carried in such quantity it can easily be detected by law enforcement agencies
1984  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 02, 2018, 05:05:42 PM
In as much as i support the kyc system, i dont really like it when some of these ico projects asked bounty hunters to do kyc before their rewards are sent.
I mean , how i start submitting my vital informations  becsuse of a reward that is less than $30 in most cases.
This is simply ridiculous.
well you have not really tell us while you support kyc system and even if you really support it i do not see reason why you do not like project that require kyc for bounty hunters. if kyc are make compulsory for investors i do not see reason why bounty hunters too should be furious if they are directed to complete kyc process. however some project deliberatly make kyc compulsory for bounty hunters in order to reduce the number of token that will be given out for hunters because they know most hunters do not have document for kyc
1985  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 02, 2018, 04:59:58 PM
you raised completely valid point which I believe many people will learn from and even educate them more on the danger involve in giving out sensitive document that can cause trouble if such document are hacked, sold or leaked on the internet. sometime i find it very funny when you discover that some ICO having or requesting for KYC have identities that can not be verified. many of them use images and pictures that do not reveal their true identity and yet they are requesting for verification of peoples identity.
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I am Victim Now! Myetherwallet got Hacked on: July 31, 2018, 10:20:13 PM
sorry for your lost but i am just wondering how your myetherwallet may be hacked. you said you got a mail through google. myetherwallet do not use email. however if you have your private key store in your mail or any of the file from the myetherwallet saved inside your mail it may be through that. I will also suggest you download and install malwarebyte antivirus because i have experience so many walmare targeted at crypto hubbyist like us. this malware can steal files from you system and can also use pc to mine crypto with your consent. coinminer virus is one of them
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: July 31, 2018, 10:11:07 PM
I have only join one airdrop and it was postoken. one of the major problem associated with airdrop is that most of them do not have any idea which is marketable some of them do not even have a fully developed platform and above all they are mostly managed by newbie who do not have previous experience in handling airdrop. token allocated for airdrop is also small but i can see that lately most ICO are now combining bounty with airdrop which make it better
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2018, 09:39:45 PM
First I do not think bitcoin is useless in term of usability. in fact bitcoin is far useful more than many altcoin. just because bitcoin is being tailored to be use for making payment alone is does not make useless. every crypto asset is tailored to solve a particular problem as we all know that altcoin such as Ethereum has features other than being used as digital currency. however non of these crypto asset can displace bitcoin in term of usability because generally bitcoin is more accepted than any other crypto. some people are even yet to know the difference between bitcoin and altcoin all they think is bitcoin is the only crypto existing.

1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors make Bitcoin rise again? on: July 21, 2018, 11:32:06 AM
Bitcoin will rise if the acceptability is increased. what this means is that if already existing market with huge financial cap support bitcoin or start making use of bitcoin then the price of bitcoin will increase again. take for example let Toyota and Volkswagen anounce today that they have start accepting bitcoin a medium of payment for the product then you will see that the bitcoin price will rise becuase many people will start buying bitcoin to make payment for automobile and this will also drive some other toyota and volkswagen competitor to also accepting bitcoin. however the price will go down due to bad news such as large exchange hack, banning of the coin by some countries and business etc.
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: July 21, 2018, 10:54:31 AM
There are so many way you can make money online but most importantly your must have a skill or skills which will make you to earn. you can work online through crowdworking platform through which you can get paid for your services. digital marketing is also a lucrative job which you earn good amount of money. it involve being offer a job to market goods and services online. it maybe through social media or email marketing. digital marketing are popularly regarded as bounty here on bitcointalk. I am very sure only few bitcointalk member know all they have been doing is digital marketing Grin. there are some other ways you can earn money online but above all you must have skills which will be tools that will earn you money
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: July 21, 2018, 10:48:07 AM
I do not have information on the altcoin you have mentioned but lala world seems familiar probably i came across their ads on crypto exchange platform. however, there are some things investors need to know before investing in crypto currency. first have it at the back of your mind that you cannot make passive income by trading or investing in cryptocurrency because they are not Scheme but asset which are highly affected by market volatility. also for you to invest in any altcoin, make sure you fully understand well what the problem the project that bring about the altcoin intend to solve. general acceptance is very important because the price of altcoin depend on demand and supply.

1994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: July 21, 2018, 05:56:40 AM
I do not think much can be done for government to legalize bitcoin because from their own point of view of those countries that have banned bitcoin, it was said that crypto is affecting the economy because there is no system through which crypto investors can be tax. going by this issue of tax, no government will want to legalize something that they cannot benefit from. infact reason why bitcoin has not been ban in some third world countries maybe as a result of poor implementation policy which will render the banning ineffective as people will still look for a way to be making use of the crypto as it is being used before.
1995  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rise of bitcoin continues on: July 19, 2018, 06:14:27 PM
Everyone is just speculating nobody knows what will happen to bitcoin. I guess reason why many people are a bit negative about bitcoin is because they think what bitcoin witness about massive hicke in price last year will continue but since the beginning of this year the drastic fall in bitcoin price has make many think otherwise while they think bitcoin might be sinking since the price is not coming up. well for the real crypto maniac, this situation is not new to them and for the people who already pack bitcoin full in their suitcase when price of a bitcoin is less than $100 they have nothing to lose rather than to seat back relax and watch the miracle coming to bitcoin.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: July 19, 2018, 06:56:07 AM
Well i don't think you made a wrong choice though because i really don't know aside your investments whether you are into bounty campaigns which usually takes a lot of time if you are participating in blog campaigns for instance. i remember i used half of my day just to write a blog for UChain campaign and i think it is worth my time because that is what it going to bring me money to sustain me not some old crap graduation ceremony which just last for a day. No offence to anybody though.
you can have both if you plan your time well. what you need to do is to plan your activities daily. how much you intend to spend online daily doing campaign and writing blog can be planned by you. when you evaluate your previous presence and what you have achieve for the amount of time you have consume doing one thing or the other you will realize you waist alot of time online except you are not a fast thinker which I believe you can work on. some people are addicted to internet even though they have achieve little or nothing. I have a brother that spend at least 6 hours a day visiting facebook just to look friends posts and comments  Grin
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: July 19, 2018, 06:49:15 AM
I do not think studying or even attending important occasion like graduation ceremony will make you lose watch over your crypto investment. from what you have written I can see that you need to work on your time management. I was ones in the same position when I first join bitcointalk. I always want to be visiting the site every minutes and do go around with gadget but later I discover there is need for me to redefine what i am doing because it was affecting other activities I suppose to have done and since that day, I have always have balance life. From the post on facebook, I can see you are Nigerian so I wont be surprise about what people says when they see you carrying laptop around because I am also witnessing the same. thats average Nigerian Mentality. ones they see you carrying laptop around or you are using sophisticated gadget they will libel you as a scammer.
1998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: July 19, 2018, 06:16:58 AM
probably you are new in cryptocurrency business. this is something which has happened so many time in the past when the price of the coin will recover drastically within few hours probably when large investor pump money to bitcoin. This is one of the reason we all talk about volatility. however this doesnt mean the price will continue to goes up like this and it doesnt mean otherwise but the most important thing to many of use is that the price should be a little bit stable and not going wide down within few hours of initial growing up. I just check now and the price is now below 8k. let us hop 7k support is establish.
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: July 14, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
this is a challenge not for bounty hunters alone but to investors. finding a successful ICO can be a bit difficult something i consider as luck due to the present state of cryptocurrency. however bounty hunters should not be too lazy also to do research well before joining campaign. most airdrop I have seen are always unsuccessful or later turn to use and dump. i have started now reading whitepaper and look out for general acceptability of a particular project before joining them. just because huge amount of money is allocated to bounty doesnt make you think the bounty is the ideal one to support. this day making good money from bounty is just a luck
2000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All about bountyhive.io platform on: July 14, 2018, 01:32:24 PM
I have join alot of bountyhive bounty and I must tell you its a nice place especially for a newbie to start. most of their staffs are always available to answer you when you have any problem and there is escrow for bounty being listed on the platform but just as it has been stated by someone on this thread, you can earn limited amount of token on BH due to large number of participant and the higher limit of participant for each campaign. many people were complaining before that BH is not transparent due to absence of spreadsheet but i can see now that they have started producing transparent report which i think it is better but not as adequate as having a spreadsheet.
