1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 28, 2020, 04:25:34 PM
This is one of the most recent ways of scamming people especially some people that participate in free giveaway and airdrops. They promise you a certain amount of token which will be received if you transferred some ETH to their wallet. Some of you will even lie to you that it is the gas fee that is needed so that is why they asked you to send the ETH. They will accumulate all the participant money and probably send you a token that amount to nothing and sometimes you get nothing so be careful.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about BNB's future on: February 28, 2020, 12:36:30 PM
If you study binance well you will understand it is a platform that has continued to develop and not only this, but they have always find a way by integrating the BNB which makes the demand for the token increase thereby increasing the price. I am very sure if binance continue evolving just the way they have being in the past, there is no way the price of bnb will not continue to rise and I assure you the BNB token is future prospect for anybody that is interested in long time investment
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 28, 2020, 12:32:05 PM
I was hesitant to join the Earnbet Project bounty not because the reward was too small, but because the campaign lasted for 12 weeks. If I make the wrong calculations, I will only receive a few dollars for 12 weeks of work. But it is a good bounty anyway if you can join all the campaigns.
If you only get a few dollars for 3 months of work then I think it's a bad bounty. Today there are many bounty like that, bounty lasted very long but the budget only ranged around $ 10,000, it is not worthy for bounty hunters to join.
I guess he must have calculated that few dollars based on the stakes and the price of the token during sales but the reality of the whole thing is that the few dollars might not even be enough to pay transaction and withdraw fee when it traded because, by the time the token gets listed, it is very likely the price will drop due to massive dump and low trading volume. So in such a case, it is complete waste of time and energy. I have been a victim of this. There are many tokens of MEW that are listed but the current price is not even up to $1
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins listed on Binance through the community coin vote show 24% price decrease on: February 28, 2020, 12:26:06 PM
I think most coins that are always getting listed through voting always end up this way. It is purely pumped and dump and after this happens, the potential coins among them will grow organically. Meaning when the project owner continues developing the project as presented in the roadmap and also making sure that there is a need for the purchase of the token to obtain a product or services. This to me is even better than most of the coins that are being listed on some exchange platform. It is almost impossible to profit if you buy the coin during token sales
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is just Shitcoin, coming down 100 dollars. What do people think of this on: February 28, 2020, 12:20:29 PM
Whatever he said is his own view and not the view of everyone. If he calls ETH a shitcoin then what do we call the rest of altcoin? Probably he has a biased view about the ethereum and I do not think this is the first time we will be hearing such bad statement not even from someone who has an interest in blockchain project but someone that have invested time, energy and money. When you hear or read about such statement, you should consider it as a propangada directed toward a targeted coin.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: February 25, 2020, 04:30:07 PM
The major group of people that still invest in ICO and IEO are new investors that have little or no knowledge about what is happening probably they have been promised that they will make a good profit. for more than a year now, I have not seen any new project that gets listed and the token price is selling at even the ICO price. Most of them even get little or no trading volumes after a while. The majority of investors that invest for long time gain do not invest in these new projects.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not? on: February 25, 2020, 04:25:28 PM
I think blockchain technology has completely revolutionized the industries. Almost all sectors of industries are always considered the use of technology. Finance, Gaming, medicine, etc. in fact the technology has been evolving with the growth increasing everywhere. Now people can make a transaction and get delivered in few minutes compare to similar traditional means. Apart from this, I have come to realize there has been increasing research in the field of blockchain and I have seen so many schools especially in Europes given scholarship for research in the area of blockchain technology and AI
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 25, 2020, 02:23:42 PM
This is part of the reason why some of them want another bull run so that scam project business too can boom. I really think a lot of investors have learned from the past and even if the bull runs come, ICO will not be that juicy as it was before because of many people have now considered investing in the project as a complete waste of time and money but rather want to trade strong coin. 99.9% of all new project token are always listed far below the ico price with no hope of coming back to the ico price.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: February 25, 2020, 01:00:51 PM
I think they are not the same. Afterall the token is listed even though the trading volume might be low or no trading. This is very common this day, you will find out that hardly will there buy or sell orders for days but I think you can still not compare them to the one that is not listed at all. This is part of the reason some rush to go and dump token when it is freshly listed because of the fear that there might be low trading volume and the token can be delisted. I am currently experiencing the same with a token I am holding on oceanx. I have placed sell order for almost a week now at the order has not been filled.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, be aware of a new scam! Stay safe with your funds! on: February 25, 2020, 08:22:20 AM
The one question I ask myself right now is, if I have up to 1 BTC will I ever send it out to get it doubled? I never worked for it, this is not trading, it will be first thing that will come to my mind, greediness in people is what makes them fall for all this crap schemes
Hardly will you see anybody that really works hard to get 1 BTC and will want to get it doubled without working for it. Most people that fall for all this cheap scam are the one that might have luckily fortuned from such gambling before so it will be a normal game for them but by the time they lose their money, their eyes will be widely opened and that is when they will realize they have been making a big mistake. Anyway, BTT has become a home whereby every phase of scamming methods is documented and this will really help people from scammers.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Need a Catalyst to push up prices on: February 24, 2020, 06:14:38 PM
hyping could just increase the price for long. It is just a temporary thing. What drives price and make it steady is the rate of demand for the token and the consistency. Those coins you listed are backup by the project that continuously developed and find a way of integrating the token so that it becomes of higher demand. Such a case is applied to Binance coin BNB. It is said that most project this days lack proper planning and hardly will you see anyone that have roadmap and continously following the roadmap
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 24, 2020, 05:57:01 PM
This is very common especially most recent projects. Sometimes they are forced to swap their previously issued token for the sustainability of the project and sometime it might be due to further implementation of some features that are never part of the initial plan and the need for scalability and more efficient blockchain platform than the previously adopted one. Gymreward has done that also. They migrated from the Ethereum blockchain to the EOS and up till today, some people could not swap there token
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: February 24, 2020, 04:30:52 PM
It might affect developed nations like the UK where heavy taxes paid by the citizens are being used to develop the country through the provision of social amenities. It might further destroy corrupt countries as it will be very easy for them to still from the public and go unnoticed by completely transacting anonymously. I think this is actually part of the reason why so many countries are frowning about the use of cryptocurrencies by individuals
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stop the world recession that is soon coming. on: February 24, 2020, 04:24:16 PM
Education does not solve the problem of the poverty rate. Take, for instance, a country like Nigeria has a high level of literacy 7 out of 10 people are educated but the poverty level has not improved. Nigeria is one of the countries that has a high level of unemployment. This is the reason why I do not think investing in education can solve or reduce poverty but rather a systematic way of improving the standard of living by providing soft skills and entrepreneurship which i think can improve standard of living
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 23, 2020, 07:48:25 PM
In the next branch, the man sent 7 Ethereums to the scammer's wallet in the hope of getting 21 back.
That is, fraudsters do not even need to invent complex algorithms and schemes because it is enough to simply offer the opportunity to receive free money in exchange for yours.

To be honest, I don’t understand what drives people when they bite with the free distribution of money.

Those who get scammed are the greedy ones, they are just like the scammers who scammed them so I can say they get what they deserve, greedy people will always be hunted
It is not only greedy ones that fall for a scam. I bet you have not encountered a well-planned phishing scam before. You get caught up in sending your wallet private key and password and all your coin is gone. It happens a lot. People get scammed through website phishing. Another form of scam I have not seen people posting is the scam targeted at project dev that wants to get their token listed. This is very common on telegram. you get to see scammers presenting themselves as representative of exchange company.
1136  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which new exchange attract you most? on: February 23, 2020, 07:27:28 PM
It seems you have not witnessed much newly developed exchange platforms. Towerx, Depository etc. are still fresh in memories. Forget about good interface and many other feature implemented, what usually kill most of them is lack of traders and low volume and this is the reason why many of them always like to list new coin so that people can be attracted to trading on the site but soon the exchange will turn out to be home of dumpers. As soon as it becomes unsustainable to run the platform, it will die a natural death.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: February 23, 2020, 07:21:16 PM
It is not that all altcoins are bad but how will you define when you have 90% of them being trash. People will literarily regard them as being bad. About analyzing a project, I discovered that many of them are just repetition of an already existing project with little or no addition of new features and this is exactly where the problem comes from and I begin to wonder what exactly they all intend to achieve. There were sometimes that I do believe some dev always look for a project that has history of raising good money from ICO and they will also launch similar project.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: February 23, 2020, 07:10:13 PM
All this rant makes no meaning to me. Saying something like this is enough reason not to believe this folk. If he is the real satoshi I bet there are many things he must change without even making any public post like this. I know people can go extra miles just to stay relevant but this man is overdoing everything and perhaps he is going to be jailed one day because of his fibble stories. If you are satoshi, you do not need to tell us, of course, people will know you are the real satoshi
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outdated, Loves Ethereum on: February 23, 2020, 07:04:38 PM
Mcafee again. I thought this guy is done because only newbie takes his post seriously. There are hundreds of bitcoin influencers I know on twitter but Mcafee is one hell of a person that only looks for people to dance to his own tunes. Probably he may be thinking about how to pump ethereum or how much his influence has on the price of ETH. We all know that ETH too has been around for a long time, so saying bitcoin is outdated is a very funny joke. Although ETH blockchain has other related functions Bitcoin is not outdated
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Destroying Bitcoin with a single question on: February 23, 2020, 11:09:06 AM
I suppose you do not understand how monetary policy works in any country  Grin. You think banks are just producing money. There is a regulation to that and even to its' used. By the way, you cannot single-handedly buy the owe stock. It is impossible to even in some third world countries that are more corrupt, that is not possible. Have you ever imagining the reason why there are laws such as AML. It is to check and stop something like this. I know a lot of ideas are being considered to make crypto a world thing, but this is out of it buddy.
