1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 17, 2020, 08:49:17 PM
There is nothing strange about their behaviour. I still remember those two project very well. I think they are few of those projects that were able to raise some money compare to some other projects. The truth is that many of them are running out of idea because they could not predict what will happen at any time. A lot of project have even resulted into using bot to answer question because people ask them same question above. At list they listed the coin on exchange. There is this project called buzzshow. The admin will always be active and she has been saying the same thing for the past 3 years now.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: February 17, 2020, 05:53:46 AM
When DEX has liquidity issue and we are still having many projects developing DEX to add to an already existing projects. This is very funny and I do not think DEX could be in any way better than the CEX platforms. I understand people are always fearful of losing their coin on exchange platform due to attack but if we consider reliability, you will agree with me that CEX is better. CEX even give alternatives because not all of them is good but I have not seen any DEX that does not have liquidity issue even the old ones like etherdelta are not left out.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Scammers behind HomeBlockCoin, CryptoAdSolution, Pagarex and other ICO's on: February 17, 2020, 05:45:42 AM
Even noname projects was able to collect 15+ millions. mad times was in crypto
It must be checked again and if the team doesn't even publish the hot wallet and such amount can't be trusted. So many scam projects have raised nothing from the investors and they are creating a buzz with spread fake amount that already raised to gain popularity. Some people may still lack knowledge about that but we can't sure if that will happen for sure.
I have experienced to identify some projects that faked its total raised amount. Just try to tell you about jinbi, parq and many more.
Jinbi was a very organized scam project. It was one of those projects you could hardly believe it will be a scam. Although the token sales was launched during the period when the investors are not that putting a lot of money in ICO but I am very sure Jinbi would have raised a good amount of money. Goldtex was another organized scam which even led to a dispute among the team members. I also had numerous experience with many of the least expected scam project. The Denaro project saga is still very fresh in my memory. I witnessed a pensioneer that lamented of being scammed of her gratuity that she invested in Denaro project
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Twitter on: February 17, 2020, 05:35:48 AM
The above are links to celebrities in the crypto world and they are among those who can cause volatility in the crypto market. For traders who follow the news, you may need to follow each of their posts to stay informed and execute orders. But above is missing a very important character now, that is CZ. He is one of the billionaires in the crypto market and has even greater influence over Justin or McAfee. We should follow him. https://twitter.com/cz_binance
wait, I thought the guy own binance. I have always followed him on twitter. He even has his handle verified and call himself a CEO at Binance. He such a funny character. A lot of project dev always solicit for listing by commenting anytime he twitted something. It is very interesting to see many of this crypto maniac on twitter and they are always a gateway to getting the right and new pieces of information on the crypto space. I am not really a fan of McAfee especially when I see that he is being used by some project dev to pump their token on the exchange.
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Conferences getting Postponed. on: February 17, 2020, 05:19:52 AM
It is true that non-crypto events are also getting postponed. I watched on CNN about how the Chinese super leagues and even the commonwealth games are being postponed. This virus endemic is now a global issue. Everyone is preventing and making sure the risk of getting the virus is minimal and contained. It is no more news that many scientists that are working on getting vaccines for the people that are being infected have been projecting that it is likely there will be drug available in the next 6 months which to me seem to be too long. Lost of manpower due to the endemic have also great impact on the economy of China and the world at large.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: February 17, 2020, 05:11:02 AM
I agree with you. Especially in some countries where money generated from tax has become the major source of money for infrastructural development and welfare even though the government might see crypto as true tender. They know how much and that many people are holding a large amount of crypto-asset which could have to fetch them a lot of money as tax in cash. I wouldn't be bordered if I see in the nearest future that the government has deciphered a mean of taxing people hodling cryptocurrency. Value-added tax through local exchanger might be one of the numerous way.
1167  Economy / Securities / Re: where to invest? on: February 16, 2020, 06:40:31 PM
Guys can you give me some legit and real sites to invest my bitcoin to earn more! there were so many sites out there but i cant just invest on them because I dont know if they are real or just scam! And also do you think guys that those coin/bitcoin doubler are true?

There are many sites out there that you can invest bitcoin, but also many other sites were scammed they'll pretend that they are good in trading but not. The best investment platform that I would preferred on you is Yobit.net this is a legitimate investment or trading platform. It's a user-friendly so that you'll easily understand the platform and also has Free Coins. In addition, high in security it has a yobit codes that can access through your emails so that no one trader or investor will get scammed.
I have seen numerous post about yobit being a shady platform. I do not think you have seen this even recently their signature campaign was suspended due to a lot of accusation by the participants. I do not think yobit can be use as a platform that offer legitimate investment platform. And by the way I a bit curious about the kind of investment you are referring to. Aside trading and participating in some IEO, is yobit doing any other investment? I hope the op realize the risk involved in participating in any form of investment. Do not invest more than what you can afford to lose.
1168  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 16, 2020, 06:24:43 PM
Honestly, the best way to make money from freebitcoin is affiliates and has always been affiliates. Think about it, this place gives out free money, it gives out free money in many many different forms, it gives money for people who gambled and you gain it, people who claim faucet and you gain from it, they do anything and you earn from it, on top of that you get free tickets for it as well.

Plus, it is insanely easy to convince people to join a website that gives out free money, some people feel like it doesn't worth it and they may leave (which you still gain while they are still there but stop when they leave) but some people find awesomeness of it and stay, some people even stop the faucet and start gambling. I have been an affiliate networker here for years and made more money from that alone than anything else I have ever made.
I have not tried this site before and the way you are elaborating on the rate at which this site give money, it makes me wanna try them out. I have a crypto blogging platform and I may consider signing up as an affiliated marketer and see how it goes. I have tried coinbet24 before but I had to quilt due to there small commission and slow time of processing payment. Although it was a long time ago. Once again, I will like to know how such platform is able to maintain the system because sustainability is very crucial.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 Cryptocurrency Marketplaces on: February 16, 2020, 06:14:53 PM
Hello all,

I found this very interesting article about the top marketplaces based around Cryptocurrency. What do you think about the current cryptocurrency marketplaces such as OpenSea? Are there anymore that the article missed out on? You can read the article by clicking on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/top-3-cryptocurrency-marketplaces-xdxrwr?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

While it is true that you can earn token for writing on a platform such as steemit etc. I believe it might be a complete waste of time unless you have a niche that makes youe article to be greatly read on the platform. Apart from this, you can create your own blog and start writing great article. Source for followers through affiliated programs and build your own blog. Ones it is monetized and you are devoting a large amount of time to publish great content, you can be rest assure of making money rather than posting on other platforms to earn penny
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA NEED PRAYERS AND NOT BITCOIN on: February 16, 2020, 03:53:09 PM
China needs western medical practice and sanitation practice, those trying to be kind and donate are most likely doing so in vein but the idea that China doesn't need help is a joke. China needs the help of the rest of the industrialized world to help develop a correct treatment method and help with controlling the outbreak, which is happening but not on their local front.
The virus is an endemic which means it is a global issue now. It is not about China taking the forefront now. WHO and other global health organizations have taken the case of the virus up now and many scientists are already working on finding the way forward to the outbreak of the virus. I do not think anyone that donates is doing so in vain so far as they donate to where they know the money will not be looted. I also think making a significant donation in bitcoin to help reduce the spread of this outbreak might probably make China reconsider the banning of crypto.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me what you think about my start up. on: February 15, 2020, 04:30:20 PM
Well, I do not think there is any new project that is totally novel and has not been wholely developed or build as part of a project. I understand your priority is health. I am just imagining maybe you want to localize your project or it is going to be a global project. putting that device in the esophagus region does not look very ok to me. It could have been better in other places that may not be noticed when people look at you. Also, I don't know maybe the project is self-funded. If it is, I do not think anyone can query you on what and how you go about your project. I wish you all the best.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 15, 2020, 04:02:01 PM
Op you are a Senior colleague here. You must come across this kind of scam here on bitcointalk where people share their experience about being scammed. This is a kind of old method of gaining access to people's hard earn money. They do not need your private key to send token to you. That is the reason why we have a public address. You don't share your private key with the third party. It is not even safe to store your private keys on cloud storages, your pc and even in your mail, so obviously this is a scam.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 15, 2020, 03:54:41 PM
It is very hard to see a project that will pay you a big profit that will cover for 10 fail promotion again. People do not contribute to token sales again and it is very hard these days for any project to even makes the soft cap. Signature campaign in bounty used to be the payment that gives hunters big rewards and this can even be bigger if the hunters also participate in other campaigns but today many of this bounty does not even include signature campaign anymore while some that include it will allocate the lowest percentage of token to it.
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 15, 2020, 03:46:17 PM
I watched a Youtube video last night about the food merchants in some of the markets in Wuhan <China> and I noticed that most of them are using electronic payment methods to pay for goods. < Wechat Pay >

Ok, it is not Bitcoin, but if more merchants using Fiat currency can switch over to Bitcoin, you might see less infections. The reason for this is simple, because the Corona virus can be transmitted from person to person via cash being used on a daily basis.

People can also do online payments with Bitcoin to avoid handling physical cash and thus avoiding infection. It can also prevent people from being infected from a host of other viruses and bacteria that can survive for days on physical coins and notes.

This is just one more reason for people to move away from physical payment methods and shifting to a cash-less financial system in the future.  Wink

I don't really think that the coronavirus is transmitted via touching paper money, coins or anything else.
It's transmitted via air and moisture.Even if its was transmitted via touching paper money, you can see that people all over China are using gloves now.Switching from fiat money to digital money will lead to more people using Wechat Pay(like you mentioned) because it's more convenient than BTC.Very few merhcants and buyers might switch to Bitcoin or any other altcoin.
moist air can be on paper money especially in some places that have a high relative humidity. Transmission of the body fluids e.g sweat to the money is very possible. Although the probability of being transmitted through money is really small but if we consider how dangerous this virus is, I think it is more reasonable to be using electronic payment methods. I still remember those period of ebola crisis in Nigeria, It was like everyone is going to die especially in some densely populated cities like lagos. I pray the vaccines for corona virus is developed soon, so that China can be free of this endemic
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 03:31:53 PM
People are always looking for a quick way of earning money. And this is the reason why they will always fall for all form of scam. Almost 90% of High yield investment program have turned to using crypto as a payment processor with the major aim of stealing from the masses. Many of this scheme that offer high Return on investment can be addictive just like betting. Have you ever wonder why someone who has been scammed is still participating in such scam. The reason is simple, it is addiction. You think you can be smarter than those theives that started the scheme
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right bounty for Newbie? Get rid of fake/scam project on: February 14, 2020, 04:56:20 PM
There is no way you can know the bounty that will not end in the scam. From my experience, there is no certain way of knowing a bounty campaign that will end in scam but I am always wary of bounty campaign that always allocates a large sum of money in form of token for a campaign. Many of them are dead on arrival. Also, I have realized that project that gets listed on fair IEO platforms such as Livecoin, Probit etc. and also have bounty are still better to compare to other bounties that get IEO listed on some exchange platform that is known to be promoting shady projects such as Latoken.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why exchange coins moving up.. on: February 14, 2020, 03:58:16 PM
most time, exchange token is used to pay for transaction fees and also the Listing fee. This makes them to always fluctuate in price. Some exchange token such as BNB has proven to be a very good exchange token especially for the people that intend to invest for a medium period. This is because anytime there is a new project listed on the launchpad, there is always a high demand for BNB in order to participate in the token sales and this caused the price of BNB to always go up making it profitable to the hodlers
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining virus on: February 14, 2020, 03:48:38 PM
I have experienced it before when I downloaded adcoin wallet. I could not notice it was the virus. I thought the PC I am using is having a problem because the CPU performance was very high. My battery is getting drained easily and the PC was making hovering sound. If this is what you are experiencing too. you can start the task manager, click on the processes options. In the list of the processes, you will discover an exe. extension with very high memory usage probably coming from the program that contains the virus. use the Malwarebytes to remove the virus or uninstall the program
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: February 14, 2020, 03:29:29 PM
Although they can have more influence than that facebook but you know there are still some third-party payment services providers that allow people using google services to get paid through them. E.g. Paypal. Incase so many companies are not willing to associate themselves with the google coin just as some company did not support Libra, I think the impact will also be big and this is very significant because of the google coin might crumble compare to bitcoin that is already dominating the crypto space before.
1180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 11, 2020, 12:31:22 PM
well, there may be professional traders that might provide you advice relating to trading just the way we have so many people this day that call themselves blockchain experts but I want to believe most of the people that trade crypto learns it themselves. There is much resourceful material on the internet including here on bitcointalk that can provide you all that you need to be a trader and from there you can develop your own strategies as regards profiting from trading. I wish you all the best.
