If everything is legit there would be no need for domains by proxy, anonymous bought accounts at bitcointalk etc..

I mined some small XZC in oc's pool, and send to exchange, never arrived, exchange said the tx provided by oc pool not valid... ping'd oc never got a reply. While I use other oc pools without issue, anyone know if his xzc pool is dead?? Below is my message to oc: I withdraw 1.93 XZC to my account in xzc.suprnova to cryptopia 5 hrs ago, but nothing showed up. I checked their admin:
Ticket description:
I deposited 1.93 XZC onto my account 5 hrs ago, still don't see it. The address I deposited: aCvYkQu18zBBQ33onr1J2rhkt8TmCwpojT, generated from the wallet. Tx: 52d2030a430cf6f0c2e8e150a6a25e3b7b0e570310d16a875725e68fc271bcba
But here is what they replied:
This TXid shows as invalid on the XZC block explorer. You can check for yourself here : https://zcoin.rocks/chain/ZCoin Please note that Network Confirmations are outside of Cryptopias control. Once the network has confirmed this transaction it will process and be available to you in your account.
Can you please check? Thanks.Weird error, I thought it was sorted already, i've sent you the coins to this address again now

Yup, all good, your balance is too low, you need 0.01 confirmed coins before payout happens

please move your topic to Scam Accusations, this thread for [ANN] Announcements (Altcoins)
The problem is no one looks in scam accusations... Agreed. Hopefully it isn't a scam since the amount of bitcoins they've received already is a considerable amount. By just skimming the ANN, reading all the weird stuff about the tech and reading the poor english of the Devs I strongly doubt it's legit.. But I could be wrong

As there were some questions: I've added an alias to the GAME pool so it's now reachable at https://game.suprnova.cc as well as https://gmc.suprnova.cc The coin was named GMC before and it's one of the oldest Suprnova pools, I just didn't rename it to GAME yet. However, you're mining GAME, not GMC (or maybe both? )

The ASIA node was having some connection issues today, it's fixed now !
And I encourage users to use anonymous mining with their wallet addresses as well - it's just easier:
Generate a new t-addr and then use Claymore like so:
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal t1gmg4yJuwDvErGbzVERx69zt9qsa4ZpMYG.YourWorker -zpsw anything

I'll release it asap, i've already pulled a clean branch of the node-stratum and i'm just making sure it works
Will the issues with hashrate presentation be fixed in that release? I mean the discrepancies between "pool hash" and "net hash", and also the hasharet of the workers shown in unknown units (like hexahash or something, instead of hash/kilohash).. Could/would they be fixed, or we expect the community to chip in some code to fix it after initial release? And one more (purely personal and off-topic) question: OC, did you notice a PM I sent you few weks ago regarding some of my coins remaining on your pools...? The repo is now here: https://github.com/ocminer/node-multi-hashing-xzc@drays: please send me that PM again, I get too many pm's per day, I probably skipped it somehow, sorry !

I have a feeling this is going to turn into biggest scam in the altcoin history. IMO he dumped his coins before the "news" and rebought 5x cheaper. He will make another announcement which will start new pump. Then he will dump it all and make a lot of money.
The coin is excellent, with features that no other has and real potential to become a means of payment. Just read the OP. It isnt scam. ... Actually it isn't - when you look at the code and just do some searching you'll find that many, many (!) parts of the code are just copied from other programs/functions - where copyright information then was ripped off and replaced with john's like this: https://github.com/john-connor/vcash/blob/38ba821efb5e74a7746d81d604af62309e99b343/src/stack.cpp#L29https://github.com/Packet7/grapevine/blob/cca8b5e8b9f8bf4ef185893071b28a435070e437/src/stack_impl.cpp#L40It seems like he is using the grapevine implementation for his needs and modified the original code to work with his coind - no doubt that there is some technical skill necessary here, but when you compare the rest of the files (stack.hpp for example) you'll find a lof of similarities which cannot be a coincidence - and everywhere copyright information is removed. You can do that will almost all files in the repo, just click through the last commits, use some individual function calls for a github / google search and you'll see where the code came / comes from So you say the code is not good because there are parts copied? Yes and no If someone tells he invented/created everything and later you find out it was "just" copied code where copyright information was removed - what would you think ? As mentioned before, he earns some kudos to implement/merge the stuff into his code, but it's no "reinvention of the wheel" and it's neither "excellent code" nor "excellent coding".
