I want to mine some PEPEs, need pools.

Suprnova.cc is working on a PEPE pool, rewards increase after May 3rd to 15 coins per block but payout is small for now.

Soon Smiley

There is a 1000 CHC bounty for a second pool for ChainCoin.

Please spread the word to your favourite pool master.

Check a few posts back, I've launched https://chc.suprnova.cc days ago already... You might want to finally add it to the op
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💋 XXXCoin 💋 XXX 🚀 PoW/PoS 💋 on: April 21, 2017, 07:38:07 PM
How many more coins do you crazy guy release with that huge premine ? Its really getting boring...
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: April 20, 2017, 09:36:33 AM
The problem is that the miners on SuprNova have not received anything since 2 days while they would have received the income of 160 blocks at the same time on poolmininghub.
Wow, so mining at a big pool gets you hundreds of times the income of a small pool? Interesting.

Any decent pool should give the same average income over time, but when the hashrate gets too small, you're seeing these unfortunate variance effects. Everyone complains when the round progress (luck) gets up to hundreds of percent, but nobody talks about the fast rounds that balance it out. I'm keeping my modest 2 Mh/s on Suprnova as I trust the math, and Suprnova has proved reliable so far.

Meanwhile, there's always solo mining. A lot of modern coins don't provide obvious methods for solo mining, instead you need to set up a personal pool or a proxy. But solo mining was the way cryptocurrencies started out, as it was the natural way to keep things distributed. (For the first year or so, Bitcoin didn't even have getwork, the only way to mine was with the daemon's built-in CPU miner.) Zcoin is nicer than many others in this regard.

Thanks for your trust, you're right, the income is the same after time.

I've dropped the fee to 0% on suprnova in the hope that some folks might spread over some hash.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PASL]-[PASCAL Lite]-[New Wallet V1.4.5 - March 30 Release] on: April 19, 2017, 11:31:58 AM
MANDATORY UPGRADE! HARD-FORK AT BLOCK 29000

PascalLite Version 1.4.6 released

Quote
Added: Socks5 support - Now you can use PascalLite through TOR network
Changed: difficulty
Changed: UI minor changes
Refactoring: useless code dropped
Refactoring: warnings
Fixed: networking, connections statistic

There will be a hard-fork at block 29000 approx on ~ Saturday April 22nd 2017. So its very important that you upgrade as soon as possible to PascalLite 1.4.6 to avoid a chain split.

Great Work !

I've updated https://pasl.suprnova.cc to 1.4.6
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: April 19, 2017, 09:45:32 AM
Sorry guys but this coin is pretty centralized, it's hard to keep up with so low hash on the pool, hopefully it'll get better after the algo switch.

Happy Hippopotamus Week - 0 % fee on this pool until Friday !

Hi i want to ask a question , forgive me if it's a bit out of topic, since cant reach you with email. so my question here

How many worker that i can use for 1 account? is there any limitation? Thank you Smiley

There is no limitation, but you can also point multiple physical machines to one worker account - no need to create thousands Smiley

BTW: The pool is now fully operational again

1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: April 18, 2017, 12:42:55 PM
The new version is using a lot (!) of CPU on my server, is there a "low cpu usage" mod again for pools ?
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: XMR Monero Pool xmr.suprnova.cc MPOS Based PPLNS on: April 18, 2017, 08:32:26 AM
As soon as the network confirms it - it's not dependant on the pool but the Monero network.. Difficulty is extremely high and therefore the chain is unfortunately moving very slow

I just noticed the pool is on a fork - i'm resyncing
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.2 Now Available! on: April 18, 2017, 08:31:42 AM
There's currently an attack going on - someone with a private pool rented hash on nicehash and is rejecting all blocks NOT mined by himself, therefore causing chain reorganization and only his blocks are accepted on the chain.

Unless someone invests some money on nicehash for a counter attack there is not much you can do...
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: dcr.suprnova.cc - Suprnova's Decred Pool on: April 17, 2017, 02:00:50 PM
I'm sorry for your bad experience with zpool, however this is not the support thread for zpool.

What kind of 2FA would you like? Google Authenticator?

Yes that would be perfect!

I'm on it, testing it currently, should be available soon.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRS] Groestlcoin | Upgrade to NEW Groestlcoin Core ASAP | Segwit activated on: April 16, 2017, 10:05:31 AM

GRSers, we need your help.

DigiByte needs Groestl hash (myriadcoin-groestl) to get SegWit to its 70% threshold.

Don't do it for us though - do it because it's profitable. With the optimized sph-miner, you can mine the equivalent of 2.5 GRS per MHs per day (20 MHs = 50 GRS a day).

If you want to mine the most profitable coin to mine right now, swap algos in your config file, then point your rigs to https://www.miners-pool.eu/pools/digibyte%20-%20groestl . No registration required. Just put your DGB address in the user name field, and mine away. (You'll find wallet installs at http://digibyte.co/ or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408268.0 .

Thanks in advance for all your help.   Smiley

This is the wrong thread, also there are more pools out there supporting segwit ... Please spam somehwere else

Yes I know there are more pools out there, yours being one of them. Unfortunately your DGB Groestl pool has been down all afternoon.

And this isn't spam. It's a request for help . . . but with folks like you and Srcxxx, for example, I wasn't sure if I should even try, and I use the word unfortunately again since you seem to be showing me that my first inclination was correct. A little camaraderie was just too much to expect.

And to think that I was even starting to warm up to Groestl once again.  Sad

No problem asking for help, its just the way you ask it.
When asking for help write down all the pools that are signalling segwit and not just 1. Otherwise it looks like endorsement/advertisement for that 1 pool. I can understand why ocminer was offended, he is a fair guy.

Scrxxx is not involved in GRS since 2014, no need to mention him. We got a total new team since then. Let bygones be bygones.

For what its worth i have asked my mining friends to help you and Litecoin out with signalling. Good luck with signalling.

Hi there jackie,

No prob. As I mentioned, ocminer's DGB Groestl pool was down all afternoon yesterday - you could hardly recommend a pool that wasn't working, could you? If you look at my second to last tweet, I was also recommending DigiHash, but (and this is on the BCT forum if you want to check) it was later confirmed to be down as well. I wasn't sure about the 2 other remaining pools (one of which is in the US with high latency for those of us in Europe) and they both require signup registration. You know what they say about the word assume. What might "look like" one thing could very well be another, and in this case with a little common sense, just a few minutes reading, and a little cooler head, the response to my request for help might have been very different. On the other hand, maybe not. Hot heads are difficult to cool. Wink

Scrxxx is still on your OP by the way. (Good to hear that he's not with you anymore.)

And thanks for asking your friends to help out with signalling. We've got over the 70% threshold. 6 more days to go. Oh, and the profitability for the last 24 hours sure wouldn't have disappointed you either!

Cheers,

The pool was down since it was upgraded to signal segwit as well - as you requested. Unfortunately the wallet didn't upgrade correctly from the old codebase to version 6.x without a full resync, so it took some time. Maybe ask 'your' devs to fix that so that upgrades go quicker. The pool is up and working well since then.

However.. Again, This is the groestl thread - not dgb...

Nobody else experience that "issue" with the full resync you mention. What would that be, 6 or 7 days for you? And how can you explain that your pool was working fine the night before? Thing is that it "looks like" your pool was down without you knowing it exactly when you were blasting me. Kind of ironic, don't you think? But I could be wrong of course, and, since it's irrelevant, I don't really care.

With attitudes and after the fact contradictions like yours, it's really hard to understand exactly what you're trying to communicate.

As far as this not being the DGB thread, is there anything that's been written here by anyone about assisting DGB Groestl signalling that suggests anyone is mistaken about this being the Groestl thread? And you've said it twice now.   Huh

Not to worry. I'm not bothered. Just trying to point out a couple of things that may help you in the future.

And thanks again to jackielove4u and friends who have so kindly shown their support.

Thanks for your advice but I'm doing well since years without your help Smiley

You can believe it or not, but I had the same issue on the qubit pool when upgrading to segwit. The daemon says 'rewinding blocks' and then gets stuck on a block a few thousand before the actual last Block. And you can rest assured that I always know very well which pool is doing what and when. I've actually upgraded the pool right after your post, you can compare 'last found blocks' on the pool with your posting time if you still don't believe.

Let me give you an advice that with your selfish and arrogant behavior you're not only hurting the way people look at you but also the coin you're trying to promote. I'm unsure if DGB really needs such promo...

This will be my final communication with you.
