Today is big day, final of Eurobasket 2022 between France and Spain. If France were one of favorites before tournament, maybe not the main one, it was difficult to expect that Spain will reach final. In Bronze medal game I don't see much chances for Poland, with all respect. Despite loss in semifinal, Germany should be extremely motivated, it's chance for them to win first medal since 2005 and they have chance to do it at home soil.

Nothing surprising about Poland. Maybe 41 points is a bit too big loss, but it was easy to expect that they will lose by at least 20 points. Look at their squad, they don't have any NBA and Euroleague players, it's difficult to expect that they will overperfrom two games in a row against elite teams. I haven't saw such boring game like Barcelona - Elche for very long time. Everything is ok, Barca won easy, but Elche looked like amateur team. They got red card early and parked bus then. Very interesting round, it doesn't happen often that 2 of 3 big teams drop points in same round, playing against underdogs. Porto ended game with Estoril 1:1. They were down 1:0 big part of game, until referee gave late penalty after Estoril played handball. So, Porto managed to take point after scoring penalty 99th minute.
Sporting continues their poor performance, now they lost to Boavista 2:1. Sporting player Nuno Santos made amazing Rabona style assist, but it didn't saved them. Though, IMO, referee later gave questionable penalty in favour of Boavista, you can judge yourself:

Spain - Germany, what a great game, both teams were worth to reach final. But Sergio Scariolo is probably best coach in history of international basketball. Before tournament Spain were ranked somewhere 6-8th in power rankings. But Scariolo with this team without much talent reached another final. Today it looked that Germany took initiative few times, but Spain always were able to respond them
France - Poland, not much waht to say about this game, but win by 41 point in semifinal is a bit too much. But it was difficult to expect that team like Poland can overperform against elite opponents two games in 3 days.
Spain - France final, repeat of Eurobasket 2011 final, two classic European powerhouses. I don't really know what team I will support, probably I'll just enjoy final as neutral spectator.

So, today we have both semifinals of Eurobasket. First game between Poland and France. Personally, I don't believe that Poland can make another surprise. There is not many surprising result in this round, unlike in Europa league. Biggest surprise for me is Pyunik win 2:0 against Slovan. I expected that Slavia will beat Ballkani much easier than they did. Ballkani were leading twice, but Slavia managed to respond fast. All 5 goals were scored in 1st half. while 2nd half belongs to Slavia completely.

Indeed, some today's results is really strange, especially from early slot. Lazio getting completely destroyed by Midtjylland. Monaco lost at home against Ferencvaros Feyenoord win isn't surprise, but it was difficult to expect that they will score 6 goals. What's going on with Olympiacos? I add another one thing - 4th games of that day between Greece and Czech Republic ended 94:88 with Greece win. So, 4 winners of 4 that day games scored 94 points. If Czech Republic would have scored 2 points less, all 4 games would have identical result. Also, Czech Republic 4 games  in a row scored 88 points.

Today's games were a bit better for me than Tuesday's, but in general, this rounds is not great, not terrible for me. City were trailing most part of game against Borussia, but despite it I was confident that they're going to win. And offcourse, Haaland scored against his former team. And his goal was really amazing. Kinda Zlatan vibes, yeah? Some players probably wouldn't reach such ball with their heads.
It's last time in near future when I trusted Sevilla. Another disappointment from them. Chelsea draw with Salzburg, I don't even know what to say, I still don't like their decision to sack Tuchel. And Juve loss against Benfica, difficult to say something about this game, i didn't watched it. But maybe in general, it's logical, Benfica looking amazing this season so far, they won all their games thi season so far, while Juve is struggling so far.

Eurobasket will have new champions. Slovenia got eliminated by Poland, it's biggest upset in this tournament without any doubts and probably best achievement in Poland history. At one point Poland were leading by +20 points and I didn't believed in my eyes what I see. In 3rd quarter Slovenia made comeback and won it 24:6. They already took a lead and it looked that they will run away and will win it by double digits. But Poland didn't gave up and won game. Mateusz Ponitka - triple double, 26 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, you don't see it often in European basketball. It wasn't night of Doncic, just 14 points and fouled out in crucial moments.

Italy - France, what a game! Italy had chance to win without overtime, but Fontecchio missed two free throws and and later missed field goal on last attack. France in this tournament have not just lot of luck, but their players have big ball on decisive moments.

In recent days Ukraine achieved significant results in Kharkiv direction and pushed front line forwards by few km in Kherson direction. Butthere is still much to do in Kherson direction, Zaporizhia oblast will be tough too, especially considering that Russia have turned nuclear power plant into imiltary base. I'm not even talking about almost fully occupied Luhanks, territories of Donbas occupied since 2014 and whole Crimea. And it's not only about kicking out Russians from there, forcing them to show goodwill sign and retreat. They also will have to clean up these territories from colaborants who worked in favour of occupants.

Almost everything is red for me, both in predictor and betting. Sad about Barca result. Not about how we played, but simply too many wasted opportunities. And Bayern isn't that  team which would forgive it, they punish for it without mercy.
