21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the limits and common sense of bet? on: May 24, 2024, 01:37:41 PM
Have you ever made a bet that led to an embarrassing situation or do you know someone who has?
Yes I did. I bet or dare to went out of town and treat all expenses and ending up doing it cause I was totally wasted due to alcohol, since my friends thought I was dead serious about it but when we arrived at the place I totally clueless why we are there cause I asleep when we went there.

Or as long as everything was done in a contract that such unusual types of bets would be worth?
Thats too serious if bet were indeed tied up to a contract. There are some bets among peers that needed to be considered as joke sometimes. Like in my case I was just over alcohol thats why I am brave to do that but in reality it isnt really my thoughts on that dare.
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I don't hold BTC for ATH on: May 24, 2024, 03:29:07 AM
I don't hold btc BTC for ATH I just hold it as a wealth and true decentralized blockchian platform,
Nothings happen if btc bull run coming or not, Because I always believe that btc is a digital wealth and public power decentralized system ATH or Bull run is not important for me.
Then youre a true OG and salute you for that. But is that really what youre after for the bitcoin tech? You dont care of its value somehow? For sure mostly here are 95% considering it as investment and have care whether its price could be double or triple in the coming years. So I have my doubts that when you said you dont care.
2 days ago Ive used the Binance app for p2p and it still working and currently may mga merchants pa din na pinoy na gumagamit. It seems na pansamantala lang talaga yung nangyari na ban IMO, just for SEC phil to push them out but with banning the app I think mahihirapan sila dyan to ask for Google and Apple to remove the apps without appropriate reason.

But to be safe I think mas mabuti ng bybit and other p2p muna. Ive tried it too na and goods naman siya kabayan.
24  Economy / Reputation / Re: META WIN Casino - Negative Reputation on: May 24, 2024, 01:04:34 AM
Ive always seen ads on twitter about meta win and got some OG friends that are using it and when I asked them hows the experience, so far they said it was good and good platform.

I doubt that they got some negative impact yet but when they do it will be investigated once it was not settled. But for the meantime I dont think it would be such good to create such ruckus about a working platform.

An allegation must be back with evidence and fact info from customers and users before we criticize it I think.
25  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 23, 2024, 03:11:07 PM
Kahit sino ay may mararamdaman na ganyan after few years.

So in this case maging masaya na siya since part na siya ng global history of bitcoin as one of the earliest transaction sa network. Good reputation pa din IMO.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: Predict the price of crypto and win! on: May 23, 2024, 02:00:25 PM
By posting this stuff here it actually shows that what the Op is really looking for is a site traffic and the best way to go about it in order to get exactly what he wants is via running of a signature campaign on the forum via contacting one of the campaign managers to this for him
I think this type of post should best served in the announcement section isnt it? It seems its a new platform and I agreed that signature campaign is indeed needed if they wanna swarm their platform with users.

I'm sorry for the noob question, but is this a gambling platform? It's just I don't get what Vote to Earn. I understand crypto prediction, as there are platforms here before that have this kind of attack, and so it become so attractive to most gamblers and the prediction includes wide range, including politics.
Quite new actually, vote to earn but I think if its still somehow related to gambling then they are in the right course cause if not and only focus on vote(means somehow related to governance) then its an altcoin related campaign.
27  Economy / Services / Re: CoinPoker Signature Campaign [Hero/Legendary] - Upto 100$/week on: May 23, 2024, 12:26:19 PM
I am thinking about Removing this rule from the Gambling section, but then again, I have stated, "If your post holds value even in mega threads, then it will be paid"
Yes, most users are tend to look on gambling section but we can overlook potential viewers from other section if most the post are in gambling section. But youre right, we will see for the first week.

Updated my signature and avatar. Thanks manager.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Foolhardy bets. on: May 23, 2024, 12:23:27 PM
I'm sure everyone here involved into gambling has made such reckless bet  at least once in life.

Did such bet/s change  your gambling styles?

Have you become to be more eager in gambling or , on the contrary it has put a chill on you?
As a discipline person, I hardly do some gambling online, but there are certain apps on my used remittance that opens up some gambling games I used to play on Casino, which sometimes make me play but of course with a little fund used. I think foolish betting is applicable to people whom have some extra money to waste and not for an average person that will rely his luck or everyday expenses on gambling.

In my experience nope, didnt make a huge cut that change my life but increase my wasted money only. But I still play for the sake of enjoying once in awhile.
29  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USDT from Binance to Peso? on: May 23, 2024, 11:08:55 AM
Usually kasi ang cash out ko lang is gcash/maya/unionbank other than this di ko pa nasubukan lalo yung bdo kahit mayroon ako since alam ko napakahigpit.

Totoo to, since napatawag na ko sa bank having more than 500k transaction via deposit lang in two different days apart.

Medyo strict kasi si bank lalo malaki yang $6k or break it down into many transactions wag isang bagsakan para di matrigger si bank.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read Well and also think we'll before you respond to post. on: May 20, 2024, 11:42:31 AM
Have anyone noticed that the reason why some persons post go off the topic is because they don't read the entire op writing before they reply to a thread, some persons respond to a thread based on the caution of the topic and that is why we meet up different opinions or suggestions that is not in lines what the OP points of view.
Possibly. But a topic becomes off topic when its literally as it is. Meaning not related to forum or not in the appropriate section and hence not related to "Bitcoin" and "cryptocurrency".

Mostly topic that are out of subject related to blockchain. If a user comment to that thread it will automatically go on off topic if that one move to that section.
33  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: May 20, 2024, 10:42:44 AM
I still remember when I joined BestChange at week 3 and I cant forget all the things BestChange have done to all participants. One of the best that handled all issues to campaign and payments to all sig participants. Even all events and holidays that got celebrated.

I remembered also the nft for the participants one of the coolest Ive seen. We will always treasure that BestChange.

I think its hard to find some campaign like bestchange but this will not be forgotten.

Thank you so much for 4 years of services in the bitcointalk forum. Im quite emotional right now we will miss you @BestChange
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Renzo Airdrop on: May 19, 2024, 09:15:30 PM
Glad I could help. You have 9k points on Zircuit all from just vanilla staking your ETH?  That's a high in my books considering 1 vanilla ETH (non LRT/LST ETH) earns around 12 points per day while ETH from pendle and LRT/LRT earns 24 Zircuit points per day. I have about 40 days until maturity and currently at 6.5K points — my target is around 10K to 12K points. So at least some rewards from Zircuit will go into offsetting some of the losses from YT.
Well I am doing zircuit the very first day they posted their campaign. So prettt sure thats why Ive gained a lot of points. Also doing the renzo airdrop that time and ezeth was included on their line up so I just parked it there. The same thing when ena usde supported Ive also send my usde there to gain more points. My target is around 18k to 20k zircuit and I hope by the the already reached this goal. My assumption is they will launch on late July to early August. Using the lrt has advantage can farm 2 or 3 tokens at once just taking advantage of opportunity.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeing is no longer believing on: May 19, 2024, 06:35:06 PM
The internet is filled with scammers but few are just genuine, so we should know that even when you see someone on video call you shouldn't conclude that they are real because there are more then enough tools that scammers can use to make video calls and you the person they are planning to scam will see them as the legit people.
Thats too bad. Even some tools have been used to fake out video call too. I think these scammers are way off limits. I am not suprise why the SEC are really giving crypto a hard time, they wanna cracked down some of these mfers. Newbie and users are the one being affected in the crossfire and become targeted by these people. Greed really is one thing to say about these people who doesnt get scared of doing such modus.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Im looking for passive ways to earn yield daily weekly ? on: May 19, 2024, 03:47:31 PM
Daily /weekly ?
What Are the risks and rewards what about NEXO it's safe enough to stake or earn yields there ?
any good places for usdt and usdc to earn what are the roi daily weekly ?
In otherwords Im looking ways to put my money on work.

I am doing defi yield projects such as dojoswap on Inj network. I feel like its more passive as the percentage apr % is quitr high and the tokens are moving the same on the LP pool dojo/inj. But you could stick on stablecoin to farm it as well but the earnings are much lower the only risk is the IL which is inevitable but it getting compensated on your harvest tokens.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Renzo Airdrop on: May 19, 2024, 02:35:55 PM
Let's look at an example:

  • you open YT-eETH position on pendle with an initial capital of $500 that gives you a position of 2.5ETH.
  • Now, you earned points as if you're staking ETH directly on their protocol which is around 10k (base) EtherFi points per ETH so that's like 25K points per day earned
  • Your $500 trends to 0 and will be 0 at maturity
.

So you earn points faster but only at the expense of burning your precious ETH.

I get it now thanks. I am doing a pendle on zircuit and remove some of my position staked to do other protocol. I think Im in a considerable position already at 9k points with pendle in the inclusion I am aiming for 15k to 20k points. Anyway I thimk zircuit will launch around July based on their latest tweet of 75% prior to mainnet.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOGemHunters - top notch ICO listing calendar for bounty and presale hunters on: May 19, 2024, 11:43:17 AM
With you, there is no problem about spotting good and bad ICOs because you have knowledge about distinguishing the potential scams and the legitimate ones. But the newbies, you're right that they should be warned about it that most of the ICO nowadays are likely to scam investors and are only spamming the community trying to fetch if there will be gullible people that they can milk their money with.
Everyone had their fair share of experience as a newbie. Before I just kept joining too on some lousy ICOs and got tricked too or not end up favorable. At least now I learned. Newbies will really experience those and if ever they got scammed then they knew that its really a matter of precautioun.

Thanks for the mentioned it seems compliment though but I just wanna share stuff like that so they are aware.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX planning to payback customers, small account holders on the priority list on: May 18, 2024, 09:22:17 PM
in some articles, they were saying they'd pay in full + interest which is cool but other articles are just saying FTX will be paying them in fiat during the time off FTX collapse. which means because, at the time of the collapse, the value of BTC was around $17k, the creditors will get such an amount also plus interest.
this is just like confiscating the coins and paying them what it's worth at that time.
It should be at the current price or the amount of btc they are holding. Its not fair if the price will use im fiat is the one those times during that time it is bear situation even so their holding is in altcoin. Hence the computation must be negligence and only gave them the amount on which they are holding. Like if a guy holds 0.5btc he must be given that amount 0.5btc not 0.5btc worth in 17k in fiat thats bullsh*t.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 18, 2024, 06:48:30 PM
In my opinion, the best altcoins to invest in right now are ethereum and binance, because these two altcoins have a very large community and popularity in the crypto market so they have the potential to provide very high profits in the future, especially now is the right time to start investing with ETH and BNB because the prices are still very affordable.
For investment with safety net I think these two are good. But if you want to earn more profits, youll pick those lower marketcap than these two cause the upside is still more unlike these that may pump to a certain price. Like eth with its current price $3k would it be likely to do a 3x or reaches a $9k price? Well we dont know. Ut if you pick a lower mcap project there still chance to do like 5x or more.
