421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the possibility of discovering a memecoin that could change your life? on: January 24, 2024, 08:00:00 AM
I've been contemplating this, reminiscing about previous years when memecoins like Shiba, Doge, and Pepe turned some people into millionaires overnight. Back then, I was a novice and missed out on those meme surges. This year, armed with more experience, I ventured into memes like Myro, Bonk, Rats, and Sats.
Ive been dreaming I hit some of these too but it never arrived. Maybe if you were really lucky to invest on some and might hit up a jackpot but the probability is really low cause thousanda of memecoin rise up daily and some of them are just money grabs. Fortunate are those who were able to grab one that become a gold. Maybe one day we could also experienced that.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful and don’t promote a scam campaign on: January 23, 2024, 04:46:39 PM
If a project suddenly becomes a scam, there is nothing bounty managers can do. However, the number of scam projects has decreased since the escrow service was introduced. But you can never turn it off and there are very few people who have not been victims of scam schemes in crypto life.
Well probably the topics pertains to known scam project even before the campaign is started. Theres no way youll know its a scam until they do so its not a fault of anyone if in the end the project turns out to be scam. Anyway theres a due diligence for that and we can already perceive if a project looks like a scam when we do research. Just mainly look for red flag and avoid those projects.
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 23, 2024, 08:07:21 AM
I noticed that it always dips before the halving and that what is happening to the market therefore we shouldn't not be alarmed, this is what happens always from the history of Bitcoin and history always repeats in the market. Lets be guided and don't lose faith as the market is only dipping not crashing.
Well if gonna based on historical past of bitcoin movement then you are right. But its quite hard to predict everything especially the bitcoin etf was just approved this year in spite of all those previous years that it has been struggling to be with. But this approach is a step forward for more adoption introduction to a wider scope of users and not just crypto enthusiasts means a very bullish thing for bitcoin.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges 2023 annual report by TokenInsight on: January 22, 2024, 08:52:19 PM
What are your assessment about the performance of this exchanges, do you see any exchange making any stride to compete with Binance by the end of 2024? Do you think ORCA can also maintain its position in the DEX world?
Well compared to Binance thats not a match at all. Probably the closest is OKX and Kucoin. But I doubt they can overtake Binance on top. But its good that we still have other alternative since Binance rven though is a big project can still face some issue to make it customers to leave. Its always good to have back up exchange on CEX. Plus dexes are still there for us to use.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? on: January 22, 2024, 06:00:21 PM
This kind of rate is too steep for any real project or product out there. They will die with this interest rate unless there is something fishy about this. Probably this is another level headed ponzi project.

This may sound legit at first or try to give the 10% daily reward to early users as to get a certain proof of they are legit. However this kind of technique will backfire later on or those who are late comers. Sooner they will pull the trigger and run.
426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Those interested in merit.. on: January 22, 2024, 04:20:16 PM
This is especially for those newbie who finding it hard to rank up. Listen up normally rank though is nice but learning is the first stage before ranking up only when you understand this forum well that only when you can rank up pretty fast. I'm not here to educate you about how to rank up or about quality post and all that. Because that should be the first thing you should observe after reading the rules and regulations in this forum as a newbie.
Well I thought we have something new here. But honestly theres ton of threads or encouragement post already for some newbies to earn and received merits. As a newbie they should focus first on building up themselves. Dont mind merits at all, Im sure if you post good enough and participate nicely on some discussion some merit sources will find them helpful, or contributed great. I just wish the merits given will be prioritize too on newbies or low ranks well if they had goof post though.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can build trust in the crypto community? on: January 22, 2024, 02:17:03 PM
Hi everyone.

I'm the creator of Cogitex, and I'm reaching out to you with questions to better understand what matters to people.

How can you build trust in the crypto community, and what do you think Cogitex can do to earn your trust?

I'm ready to hear from each and every one of you. Share your experiences and ideas. Do you think the development of Cogitex and cryptocurrencies in general can be improved?
Well building trust from the community is not easy but start by being transparent and legit. If someone asked questions then feel free to answer it without any restrictions. Also its quite okay if you will not be an anon on your project. People now invest in People that they can see your face or social profile.

Btw whats the nature or purpose of your platform?
428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much knowledge is enough to satisfy an individual on: January 22, 2024, 11:08:07 AM
Even in this forum I have also seen high ranked members who are staff and with thousands of posts and merits yet they also post every day hoping to be merited as well , and the question again here Is when will they be satisfied?.
Its not that they/we are expecting merits its just a bonus if have given merits by others what is important here is we could create a valuable info or topic that could be discuss by anyone and learn from it. Merits is important also but its not as one sharing valuable information. Satisfaction on merits? Yes it is. Actually Im not sure who you talk about like posting for merits? Maybe those who really wanted to rank up.
429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another attempt from Impersonators of Trust Wallet Support to steal. on: January 21, 2024, 07:10:16 PM
The very first thing to do is check the official email from any emails that are coming into our mails. Its so eady for these jerks to manifold or imitate such emails. Go for the original one and see if its match. Sometimes I often put to spam all those messages. I wonder why my emails getting such notif too. Probably I am keen to airdrops and these people are probably somehow got an access to those. So better to use dummy emails when doing an airdrop cause they are after the wallets associated with that email.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to farm airdrops on crypto? on: January 21, 2024, 05:57:50 PM
There are lots of cryptocurrency apps we can mine and finally went from them when they are finally launched.
This is one of the ways we can earn rom airdrops. There are so many ways we can earn from airdrops by mining, staking, and participating in activities that would guarantee us a chance to qualify for the airdrop sharing. All these are ways we can earn without fullinh investing in airdrop projects that are not yet launched in the market.
Yes Ive seen the trend also on doing mobile mining and its happening again. Before its a hype too and become dead and now they return. The only one I am doing now is notcoin and I think thats gotta be a good one if ever they launch a token. For someone who did a good due diligence isnt gonna be hard to know if the project will launch a token or not.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Surge in Meme Coins on: January 21, 2024, 05:10:34 PM
People are jumping on the meme coin bandwagon, hoping to catch the next big wave. But it's also important to be cautious and do your research before investing in these coins. The market can be quite volatile, and meme coins can be particularly risky. What are your thoughts on this whole meme coin frenzy?
Well with the market sentiment I prefer legit ones in terms of this time. Yes there are profits that can be generated in meme but its a risky gamble though as some of these are likely money grabs and only those who are supported by lots of big players, whales and influencers are gonna survive or make a hype on that. All other else think of it as scams or will do rugpull.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silly and scary questions, and what would you do if that were you. on: January 21, 2024, 03:55:20 PM
If you knew to yourself that you have a lot of bitcoin that even your family could be in danger due to that then keep that to yourself. Yes family members are trusted but how sure it is. Sometimes the scariest one is your close relative or cousin who are just being quiet and monitoring you slowly. If its involved money then be sure to trust no one.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it a legit airdrop or not? on: January 21, 2024, 11:26:16 AM
So y24 modeled its project strategy after blast.io? I doubt it was a good airdrop they just capitalized on the opportunity of something similar done by blast.io but blast.io is much better than y24.
Probably a copy cat project. But visiting their site and seen that theres no OG that I followed for legit airdrops are following them ( not even one) surely this is a flop or suspicious projects. Its quite impossible for OGs that I followed not to miss a single potential drop so maybe they pass this one out and the websites not that attractive and looks scammy for me. Anyway not gonna do this one.
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to change trading pairs on existing holdings? on: January 20, 2024, 06:12:51 PM
Hi Everyone,

I have most of my portfolio paired with USDT (for example CSPR/USDT, CTSI/USDT etc) However, upon doing more research, I wish to change to BTC pairs instead.

What is the best way for me to switch the existing holdings to BTC pairs?

Is it simply to sell the coins and then buy back as BTC pairs?

I’m worried the buying and selling fees would add up to a lot. Is there any other way to achieve this?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

Its the same actually however you need to remember that btc price isnt fixed as usd value. This is to assume that youll be able to farm btc to scalping but the value could lower or down your asset value. Increase in quantity but dont reflect on your value.

Fees depend on the exchange you use. Sometimr some uses exchange native coin to reduce transaction fees which sometimes much cheaper due to discount.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launchpool: One Of The Best Staking Feature For Rewards. on: January 20, 2024, 05:36:18 PM
Launchpools have emerged as an exciting avenue for crypto enthusiasts, presenting opportunities to secure early access to promising projects and potentially reap substantial rewards. For many, including myself, this raises the question: Is this a launchpool worth exploring? Should we commit our valuable crypto in hopes of future gains?
Yes it is. Binance launchpool served as an avenue for airdrops it is considered a free money for me since you just deliberately staked tokens of bnb. Exploring this wont nred much effort as you just navigate to binance launchpool and stake it. The rate isnt computed since value or figure changes since the number of stakers constantly changing.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was robbed, and the severe setback made me rethink a problem on: January 19, 2024, 09:26:25 AM
So this made me take another look at WEB3. This time the theft was due to the leak of the private key.
So possibly that you click some phising links. Theres no way that he can view your private key at all. Most got scammed or hacked exposed to some malicious links. Avoid using social media or click some links underneath legit project cause chances that the second one is fake unless you check the profile first and verify that this is the real one.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise and Fall of ICOs: Lessons Learned on: January 19, 2024, 06:04:09 AM
Share your war stories, victories, and facepalms. What lessons did you learn from the ICO rollercoaster? Maybe your crystal ball predicted the next big thing, or perhaps you've got scars to prove otherwise. No shame, we've all been there!
Well the mere fact that investing on ICO is totally risky and might poses some funds loss. Well losing is part og the game but if you can keep your sane with this, then you could survive any of those hard decision on investing on ICO. Still ICO are quite good if you are in the right platform. But avoid some making their ICO available to themselves cause possibly a rug could happened.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why don't you use DEX? on: January 19, 2024, 05:53:54 AM
I have read on the forum that people can still exchange their money for crypto currencies without kyc with bisq and robosats. then why many peoples don't buy their crypto's this way? Can't people withdraw them or what?
Well first of is convenience I think or they are trading other altcoins that arent listed on bisq. Many people are doing more trading on alts than simply bitcoin thats why they prefer some big exchange with different  shitcoins, meme or different L2s.

Also the restriction maybe on their country they are required to use certain exchanges or the one aligned with the SEC or government ruling.

439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to farm airdrops on crypto? on: January 18, 2024, 05:58:59 PM
And you think that is an easy thing to do ? Well, to read the docs, doing the research for each project individually is a full time job, and even then you can only do it 1 project in a day or may be a couple of days, and still then the ambiguity remains. Crypto world is full of wonders but still to grab a good opportunity, you have to be lucky along with doing research.
Well I didnt say its easy but I cant tell you that its also hard. There are different ways on how to search a good project, slip on some github, social media and some probably insider on your folks who knee something. Digging into nrw projects is the best stsrt everyone can do and you analyze whether they will be a good one in the future.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool, a possible earning opportunity? on: January 18, 2024, 04:57:37 PM
I'd consider buying more BNB, but its high price makes it a risk-free asset. I'll perhaps reconsider if it drops below $300 sometime in the future.
Check this out mate. https://twitter.com/_RichardTeng/status/1748002280895340763?t=Fo5aFut5It_NOwXh8BqKOA&s=19

Id think you definitely reconsider considering the new CEO is on game with the launchpool series. I think this will be continous till the bull run and definitely will not let bnb out of sight for those big projects that will conduct launchpool. Also theres none launchpaf yet since then so probably they are brewing a grand launch for new project that will be out soon.
