881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need to Trade My Coin on: October 04, 2023, 08:35:40 AM
Altcoins should be avoided totally if you're diversifying.

Diversification works if you are not using closely correlated assets, and every coins/token in the crypto market follows very similar market charts. If you want to really diversify then look to other industries like real estate, precious stones, stocks/bonds.
Well how can a diversification on crypto works if youll not pick up another coins aside from bitcoin. Surely we are talking about crypto here when OP mentioned that word and how can you imply a bad results for altcoin as alternative for real estate and other bonds when the price now is really low and its a good chance to get some potential to add up on our portfolio? Well my opinion is seize the moment and get some really good coins while it still low. Thats how you capitalize on a bear situation just like the old bear market. Of course the choosing is depend on someone caliber and research skills which one gonna explode.

Hey there theres a friend tech thread already and you could discuss your idea there and better to lock this thread now. We are avoiding here duplicate thread as much as possible. But I like the input youve put here about friend tech.

883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig "Faketoshi" Wright saga continues. His team turns against him. on: October 04, 2023, 06:37:20 AM
This is funny. I am browsing on tiktok and saw a post about a certain content regarding the real Satoshi and the poser said it was literally Craig Wright due to some of these bullshit evidence he is seeing. Sincr its social media I am indeed explained to him about forum and Satoshi, but guess what? He didnt believed me and more favor for Craig as Satoshi, so I stopped the arguement cause I know it will be nonstop and not worth my time.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Layer 1s. Why does anyone invest in any other than Solona? on: October 04, 2023, 04:58:21 AM
Solona is just so far ahead of everything else right now and so undervalued. It looks like the only thing that could even get close to doing an Ethereum style run.
The reason it still on the top L1 is because majority of holders of solana are the top whales and only few retailers. How can you move it down if almost all are being hold by few people while others are totally different. They can really maintain their high valuation in contrast to others. So I think thats a good way to say they are on top of L1. But in terms of technical or product there are far way more greater than solana. Remember how they network got off many times before? Isnt that a bad sign in security aspect hence they arent go down that massively? Well you can tell why (my first reason).
885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Attention for Beginner! on: October 04, 2023, 03:44:00 AM
Just install wallet in what you need, If you have bitcoin, just install a wallet only Bitcoin aplication, don't install wallet with many coins inside like trust wallet, don't do that!. that is suck. just waste you time and memory. there's no point in keeping shit coins on your wallet, instead, it will make your life unlucky, believe me, altcoins make your life unhappy.
Well thats a nice advise to newbies but isnt that bias when you say that it will make your life unlucky and unhappy when you have altcoins? I dont think so, well at least on my case and some other who can balance being a bitcoin and altcoin enthusiast person. Maybe you are right on some tokens but not all, as you can see we have some great history or proven profits with altcoins that cant match by bitcoin holdings so you cant simply judge it just like that only my opinion.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Celestia airdrop live on: October 04, 2023, 02:54:27 AM
If you have a Keplr wallet installed, then when you click the "claim" button, the address for receiving TIA coins is created in Keplr automatically. If you try to request coins again, you will be told which wallet they will be sent to and then compare the received address with the address in your Keplr wallet. I think they will be identical.
I have keplr on extension is that fine? But also I am eligible on staking atom on celestia airdrop, but didnt see any tia or celestia address on the choices for that. The problem Ive got is the one on metamask eligibility since I did confirm the import address which showing a random genereated from celestia airdrop page. Can that be change? Or does this wallet address can be still generated on keplr too?
887  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Account ni satoshi Nakamoto nagtweet? on: October 03, 2023, 05:20:58 PM
Yes agree its fake. Alam naman natin yun guys na masyadong maingat si Satoshi and its the least na gagawin niya na magtweet gamit ang social platform na twitter. Maintindihan ko pa if sa forum siya nagpost and nagupdate about sa mga ganyan pero hindi naman so its definitely an impostor.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Faucets on: October 03, 2023, 04:48:11 PM
Are there any ETH faucets still alive?
Probably none anymore. Why would someone would make a faucet that has a way mroe valuable now. Maybe there are some but Im afraid it is not worth it or if they do then its really small that you dont wanna collect it and learn that the fees you need is much bigger than the actual value youll get.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 03, 2023, 03:51:20 PM
It is indeed profitable but you need to monitor and consider some factors like the fees of the exchange and if the difference on price is worth the shot. Sometime it could been just an error or glitch thats why theres a huge spread. Plus the withdrawal fees on cex are probablt higher compared to dex. If you noticed the variance on price is based on dex liquidity and cex trading volume so you need to be flexible on this.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 03, 2023, 07:33:22 AM
The bearish market has been affecting the whole crypto industry downside, but regards NFT niche, it has been worst. Almost all NFTs have a market cap of zero, meaning investors and adopters have completely lost interest for them after so much hype and excitment we saw during the year of 2021.
Yes and these nfts are illiquid and even they got some marketcap it still an auction style basis where you cant liquidate your asset right away. Most people think these nfts value are totally real but some of them are just hype. If you bid it and it got sold thats the only the reality of its actual value if not then its just a jpeg with a lucrative design.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: October 02, 2023, 03:32:28 PM
Can we expect any rewards , for participating in them in Q4 2023?
Honestly with the past results of some testnets, users were discourage to do some of these task due to low rewards. Example of these are sei which has a very low value due to massive participants and a very few alloted budget for the testnet. Also the sui which chosen to do a random whitelisting which ignored the testnet users full activity and opted to do a small group of people reward by random lottery. Well some also low class projects giving a false hope and only non valued nfts.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 02, 2023, 01:34:20 PM
I do not hold Ethereum but do have a few tokens that will require me to pay fees so wondering what is best to do have it ready now or if it doesn't matter and just wait till it actually comes to selling and pay then but obviously the price of Ethereum will be a lot higher next year then it is now so thinking is it best to buy now whilst cheaper?
If you have extra cash or balance then do buy some of it while it still cheap. If you believed bull run will arrived then eth will likely increase and as the price increase you only can buy few of eth to cover for the gas. Its hard to say when it will increase but much better if you can buy while it still low.

893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies should gain broader payment gateway acceptance soon? on: October 02, 2023, 07:42:01 AM
While discussing prominent coins, I'd like to suggest that you explore https://coinremitter.com/?utm_source=rep&utm_medium=reddit as well. They are providing user-friendly and efficient payment solutions for cryptocurrencies.
Well as much as I wanted, but this project doesnt rin any bell at all. Those Ive mentioned are fairly and really popular projects and been used by millions of users. Does this project you are suggesting have even user base? Or does they have a solid user base already?
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync transaction checker for those doing retroactive airdrop on: October 01, 2023, 08:34:16 PM
It appears that market targeting conditions may be related to the delayed release of airdrops do economic variables influence the timing of product launches like this if they are targeting the market when circumstances are favourable?
In my opinion yes it is. If the market is alive and green people will do more buy and sell and seeing those new project launch is potential for profiting and these developers knows that. They just want a good entrance I supposed.

does this suggest that there are market obstacles making a successful launch tough to achieve?
If they launch, the project is good and will still do result but as a prime project they just wanted more audience with a positive market conditions too. You dont wanna launch with the timing investors arent gonna even take a look on that due to lack of buying power. Purely my opinion, could be wrong too.
895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Trading Strategies You Could Be Ignoring on: October 01, 2023, 06:58:41 PM
My favorite here is doing DCA and swing trader for medium term price movement. Yes I am not a daily trader but more like a swing trader for some altcoins as I am frustrated using future trading with heavy loss before. I realized doing some spot trading and keep buying low and selling on a peak time will give me profits and more sensitive case for having such loss and risky way. Well dca on the other hand give me confident to buy at an average rate without losing a chance to buy at super lows and lows altcoins.
896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just a quick one, about KYC. on: October 01, 2023, 06:31:42 PM
what is the risk of purchasing Bitcoin on such an exchange?
The risk might possibly if the exchange freeze your bought bitcoin due to suspicious, example you bought a tons of bitcoin on an exchange and you plan to hold it on your wallet for a long time then there might be a chance for them to review if your account is legit or something shady is going on since you bought a huge chunk. Well for that matters its quite scary if you are the one being held.
897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is purely a mental challenge on: October 01, 2023, 05:44:51 PM
Being a holder is a talent where you could literally say thay you are a brave person. Some people might fall into such panic when everything tremble in fear but honestly how could you resist those heartbreaking paper loss? Its quite hard right, since its literally something you could not just handle easily. OP is right on the part that to avoid those panic selling is to put up your bitcoin to some wallet that arent prone to direct liquidity like an exchange or wallet app where it can be converted right away since its a temptation we are prone to make.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin millionaire: Lucky or possesses more qualities that we don't have. on: October 01, 2023, 05:23:25 PM
Long term perspective: They don't just buy, they look at it on the long run, they know when to take risk but at the same time they don't buy and sell with emotions.
This is my favorite. If you are a long term enthusiast then its worthy if you could see the potential of what you are buying. Some are just keep steady holdimg and looking on the bright future of what they have. Yes its literally hard to see when it will bloom but when it become fruitful then youll definitely gotta see it grow in the long run. Remember bitcoin when it was literally a cent and suddenly become have a good value.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync transaction checker for those doing retroactive airdrop on: October 01, 2023, 01:07:55 PM
I’m wondering if there’s still a plan for launching their own native token because it’s taking a lot of time since most of the blockchain that developed same time with them already launched their own airdrop. Are you still bridging on this L2 project?
Yes they have hinted before about their airdrop and potential launched. Im not sure why it took them so long to release maybe because the market is still not good and they are aiming it when the bull is there. Lots of airdrop tokens arent that much have raised their price so if you think about it. So they are not gonna tried to have a lousy launch.
900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this safe for my crypto wallet? on: October 01, 2023, 12:52:29 PM
I have ignored this access most times, and the crypto wallet, metamask functioned perfectly, I am also able to make some transactions too, but every damn time I open the wallet this same image pops up. Any solution?
I think seeing the prompt means it wanted you to be safe since therr is a warning from it. Why not revoke access everytime you arent using that or clear cache and clear file so you wont be exposed on the danger of potential data breached.
