621  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the alternatives of mixers with the legalities? on: December 04, 2023, 10:37:35 AM
Since the use of mixers may face various problems, what can be used as an alternative? Looking for both your opinion and suggestion on this 0_0
Why pick an alternative as if like its prohibited to use mixers now? Its just being not tolerate here in forum but it doesnt mean they will be gone. If you refer to theymos post its just be out here but of course the services will continue. Now the signature part will also be removed so none mixers will be advertise. Well a crazy and instant event in crypto forum.

Theres none alternative that has much safer unless converting your token to monero and other privacy coins.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which good altcoins can I hold along with Bitcoin for the upcoming halving? on: December 04, 2023, 10:02:15 AM
I was thinking about ETH, BNB and SOL. But still, I  need recommendations from you guys about the best altcoins to hold for the halving please.
Aside from these get some avax, inj and some major l2 like optimism and arbitrum. These two are also didnt experience the bull season so chances that they gonna do a solid movement and probably new ATH. But theres a lot of other choices much better scattered the funds to most choices or alts. Of course dont forget to bag some bitcoin too.

624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AN OVERVIEW OF GAMING PROJECTS. on: December 03, 2023, 05:13:08 PM
Being a staunch enthusiast of the gaming crypto ecosystem, I'm often inclined to new gaming projects with good usecases and tokenomics. Personally, I feel they've perceived potential for considerable growth. I've been doing some research and I feel I must have missed out on a few. Please, if you've any on your radar, do well to recommend so I can add to my watchlist, Thanks.
Bigtime
Petopia
Sword and magic
Axie infinity v2 classic
Guild of guardians
Knights of catenna.

There are lots of new games or existing that still alive and able to wrap it up. Maybe you could try to do some of these games. But of course depends on the ecosystem of gaming you like.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manifesto on airdrops trivialization on: December 03, 2023, 03:43:31 PM
I feel is getting harder and harder to get good airdrops, when some arrive the tokens are diluted by a huge amount of airdrop hunters not to mention projects that "gamefi" airdrops with tasks and points, terrible.
Maybe it is a wave that passed, not sure about the future of airdrop hunting.
Surely it will evolved in due time. I remember how simple airdrop before like filling up Google form and will eventually qualify for the drop and received tokens right away on registered address. But now its a mixture of social and many task before even get to be qualified and some even make it a competition that only top users were be rewarded at all. Now its a race to find which airdrop is good and will not create much dilution due to participants.
626  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, when KYC will be introduced? on: December 03, 2023, 02:15:12 PM
The ban on mixers finally proved that the forum is centralized. And as the authorities order the admin, so it will be

Unlicensed cryptocurrency trading is carried out on the forum. This is already a reason to introduce the KYC procedure

The forum is registered in the USA and must comply with US laws and cooperate with FATF and AML enforcement agencies
Im not sure if you are right but this forum has been created to promote bitcoin and its the only thing that truly decentralized out there. How come to think that this forum is centralized? Due to the mixer issue removal? Well I think theymos has to do it in order to save from an uglier scene, probably its for the betterment of the forum thats why its announced by theymos. I doubt that he will never ask for KYC in here. Maybe last time, but that was clearly an April fools activity.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance reaches deal to pay $4.3B settlement to American regulators on: December 03, 2023, 01:23:45 PM
To payback $4.3B isn't more of a problem for an exchange like Binance that's if not the biggest crypto exchange and with enough capital index gotten from or raked in from unknown charges and deals we the customers know absolutely nothing about.
themselves.
Did the $4.3B was paid by Binance or CZ? Since it was an accused on CZ I think he was the one paid it not by Binance. It seems that amount have nothing from CZ and has more deeper funds. Imagine how rich he is that can bail out with that kind of figures. Im sure CZ will claim it back through investing on defi or alts in the future aside from Binance. Hence he will never leave thar company for sure still part of it till the end though its being handled by other people now.
628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bank stops all my payments to exchanges. Now what? on: December 03, 2023, 01:07:23 PM
I'll reconsider tomorrow. I hope that BTC doesn't make more crazy pumps like it did last night. I freaked out when it jumped 8k in a heartbeat, just to get right back. I still don't know what happened there
Well its better to be prepared always. We dont know when the potential or heavier pump bitcoin will do so we must have bought now or earlier not like when its already been pumping. How about dex? Or p2p would you consider that if its banking not working for you.
629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Clipboard Virus! on: December 03, 2023, 08:13:57 AM
Thats why everyone must be reminded about copying and paste. We dont know if we are infected with such virus and a little bit of changes from the address means it got compromised. You dont click the send button right away and must have triple check or more first the address if its correct. I think it got happened to my friend on ronin wallet add. He didnt received the tokens inspite checking it was correct, however he noticed that theres a different letter and figure on last four lines. So it is a virus indeed.
630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does signature Campaign Sponsors make their money on: December 02, 2023, 09:52:30 AM
Advertising on simple terms. A lot of users lingering here and the signature served as ads for anyone who might noticed the banner. So the higher the rank the better since design is neatly visible more chances to be seen by more new users or someone looking for something.

In terms of compensation you can pretty much read a lot of explanation above.
631  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers Signatures : A challenge or Respect on: December 02, 2023, 09:16:25 AM
That's probably why they are crying about all of this because some of these mixer signature campaigns have a really good pay and some of them are in those campaigns so it's difficult for them to depart from those campaigns especially that were there from the start so some of they might've grown attached to them or they just want the consistent good pay.
Its not that they are crying. Some believed in the worth of having mixers too for the purpose of privacy but that cant help in the ongoing cracked down isnt it. Too sad that some of these mixers will not be promoted anymore hence for the users that legally using it. Anyway forum will thrive and theymos probably just following whats he thinks right.
632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can Microstrategy buy so many BTC, while other funds waiting for ETF? on: December 01, 2023, 04:39:42 PM
And another question is, MicroStrategy seems to be not that big company, comparing Apple, MS and Google. Where they get money to buy BTCs? I mean are they getting loan, or doing some kind of fundraising?
Even its smalls or not comparable to those. The guy believed in bitcoin and willing to risk their company fund for more leverage on bitcoin. Im not sure how the process of purchasing since they are legit company and probably via OTC or some brokers. Surely they dont use a normal buying bitcoin on the exchange for acquisition considering the bulk of bitcoin value they are buying.
633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the importance of identify in your local board? on: December 01, 2023, 10:45:20 AM
There are also local boards with such topics but not all. Like altcoins which also present in our local boards. The fiscussion on local is helping other newbies to overcome language barrier especially if they arent proficient on the language they are using. Most newbies are gonna do local rather than english since they understand much the discussion on their local.
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens if bitcoin price hits 6 figures and up? on: December 01, 2023, 10:16:58 AM
The other thing I thought of was this.  If btc hits 6 figures and goes to say 250k or even 500k usd, well that would mean there would be quite a lot of new millionaires out there compared to now since you still need a sizeable amount of btc to be a millionaire.  I know there has been many millionaires due to crypto but for most people, it's hard if you don't have much savings to buy btc the last few years.
Well some have been millionaire long time ago but with the SEC and US intervention with the hype and progress of btc it would take time before it could happened. Well definitely it will, but not for now. Bitcoin is uncontrollable asset as long as there are many who supported it. The private sector are probably threaten by its idea due to those hidden agenda they are doing. Tranparency is a key and using bitcoin it can be achieved. Its only a matter of time I guess.
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here and wants to make some money on: December 01, 2023, 09:27:05 AM
Hello everyone,

I'm totally new and I don't have a steady source of income so I'm looking for some help, nice to meet you all 😊
Well if thats the only goal then you are in the wrong place. Many usets thought that bitcoin forum is only for earning but this is a hub for learning. Yes they maybe some income or generated assets here but that isnt the goal of this forum but to help users learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I am just like you at first that wanted to earn but changed that into something more purpose. Maybe try to hangout here first, read some important threads and maybe you change your mind.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Launchpad Tokens on: December 01, 2023, 09:01:19 AM
I think other factors also need to be considered considering that this is still a market condition that can be said to be not very good.
but we should be able to see from there which projects can survive in this bad market.
then later when the bull comes we will see the project go up.
So far they previous projects are doing good. Ofcourse binance did somw research too even before launching any tokens on their launchpad. I can see a good result on their past IEO. Well for the launchpool its really like a free hub token anyway we cant see if that are good since for me its a marketing method for those projects if they ever launch a launchpool on Binance like memecoin did.
637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Treat exchanges the way you treat your casino accounts. on: December 01, 2023, 07:57:52 AM
We have an opportunity to have full control of our money. A system different from the traditional banking system, so what purpose is moving from the traditional banking system if you'll just end up keeping your money in a centralized exchange?
Yes you are right. We should always treat the cex as something not safe. Yes it has a lot of options and privileged but we must be limited to that considering the potential security of our asset. Its not bad to use cex in fact, many have love that however er should not forget the golden rule of not your keys not your coins since its a centralized entity. Always practice usage of non custodial wallets.
638  Other / Meta / Re: Using Extensions on Smart phones [Guide] on: November 30, 2023, 06:57:09 PM
Nice guide but I have been using another extension already like keplr browser and mises. Been using these two for a long time to access some of my wallets on other coins and tokens ectension supported crypto.

Hows your experience with this one? Any feedback, security or level of difficulty on usage? Thanks for the share OP.
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: November 30, 2023, 12:13:32 PM
I was wondering and it's funny the website have similar code as FTX for me it's funny just funny you asking me here on forum what track record i have but you fall into trap by known people becouse you can't connect the dots.
What's my track record? I tell you it's Brain education connections and huge life experinces.

Good Luck all u
Thats a lousy warning. Maybe you are right but none of it are factual. At least say which exchange you are suspicious and let us check with our own opinion if thats gonna indeed happened like on ftx case. There are dozens of exchange with same UI and designs its simply almost all the same so thats not a good description to say they will run away.

Why not spill it out so we can check?
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 or BEP20? on: November 30, 2023, 11:10:45 AM
Hello,
I want to buy $150 USDT and send it to an address. Is TRC20 cheaper or BEP20?

Thank you.

I think almost the same but Id prefer bep20 as they got more dapps supported while also Im not fond of using trc20 on dex but only on centralized exchange. But theres not much difference between those two unless you are comparing any of this to ethereum well Id pick one of each versus for that.
