221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convert BEP20 to ERC20 on: March 10, 2024, 04:30:52 PM
Not sure why anyone would want to use any coin on ERC20 chain. It has BY FAR the highest fees and is so inconvenient.
At BEP-20 or TRC-20 you pay much less for basically the same service.
Its an expensive network and kinda hard to do a lot of transaction the point is some dapps that are quite interesting are always on eth network. Yes there are other options but if you are a new token or project hunter to get engagement or be part of it, even though its ethereum network. Depends on the purpose I guess but I also uses what you mentioned network tokens the same way I used eth.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analysis: Ethereum nears $4,000 amidst market rally on: March 10, 2024, 03:56:40 PM
I can see that the contribution on restaking tokens and projects inflicted huge to eth surge. However Im thinkung what if Eigenlayer stops sharing points to the stakers? Of course tendency of these people are to unstake their eth or LRT. So no incentives, anymore for the restakers which could be a bearish scenario but I dont knowx anyone know what will happenef if this such thing occurs? Theres plenty of restaking project that in the pipeline for eth.
223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potential Scams to Watch Out For in the 2024 Bull Run! on: March 10, 2024, 02:12:20 PM
Rug pulls

Another devastating scams involve developers abandoning a project after taking investor's funds. Be cautious of projects with anonymous teams or unaudited smart contracts or a new shit coin project wherein you trying to ride the hype will lose everything. It is again important to check the project papers and roadmap to assert that the new project is good for investments. However, it is risky as there are new projects with a lot of promises that have done this scam without much effort.
Yes this is a must unless the person is a total degen or a risk guy that ape into any shitcoins out there. This isnt bad if you arent scared and okay to lose but for newbies who are starting to invest they should avoid any of this. I am doing some of these but I advise others not to try cause this is a risky one and the return is not guaranteed. Well Id earn from some of these but I know that my money is at staked whether I lose or not. Memecoin or shitcoins are good profit makers but the damage it left from late investors or trender will make their capital gone or close to zero.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about this ponzi scheme ? on: March 10, 2024, 09:51:38 AM
i am thinking to  invest in that project on early stages and get profit from it i know later on its also gonna crash but if i ape in early it might give me good profit so what you guys think i am in the right direction or not ?
Like Ive always said theres a reward for a risk taker when he able to catch a good one. But in the swarming sea of scams on memecoin only handful of project can do a good multiplier. Anyways I am staying away from shitcoin for now as its gonna get diluted and shifted to a new trend. Whose catching some good profits now?
225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would a vendor and a dealer connect with each other for BTC means of payment on: March 10, 2024, 06:09:27 AM
It's impossible in the first place.

When you're already meet the person in real life, it's no longer anonymous.

Even if we talk about online marketplace, you need to submit your identity when you want to make a business/service/project, so someone already know about you. Except someone is willing to become a public CEO that known by anyone and you choose to work in silent.
Well I think its no longer anon too. I am using Binance and sometimes Ive sold my btc there thru exchanging to usdt and use p2p. Using my remittance as receiver makes me no longer anonymous. As much as I wanted to not leave any footprints but I cant completely do it as what I am using to withdraw my funds needed a KYC. Well its a big deal though but I cant do as much as p2p with someone I dont know too. Kinda hard and scary to meet someone and exchange with fiat that way.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling shib to buy other alt coin? on: March 09, 2024, 09:00:53 AM
I had an initial investment of 250 on Shib and now it's over 800. Should I sell and buy some other alt-coin or should I hold? Also what altcoin should I buy? Sorry for the stupid newbie post I'm just not optimistic about Shib since it's a poop coin haha.
Its always your choice if you want just subtract the profits from shib and put it into a new memecoin. This is a risky method but theres nothing to gain by being scared. Most tokens are unique and you need to find which one suited you best. But tip of an advise pick a meemcoin that has a lot of supporters or big community because thats the key to a moon mission on memecoin.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please don't liquidated yourself on: March 09, 2024, 05:31:51 AM
All trader should take note that you can't get liquidated if you use your leverage wisely, almost 90% or more of traders that got liquidated is as a result of high leverage, ok lets take btc as an example now, if you enter a long position from $45000 with a 3x leverage, Bitcoin would have to fall down to $17000 or $16000 for you to get liquidated, so as long as you are patience enough in the market while using lower leverage, you stand a chance of making good money out of the market, so please use your leverage wisely to overcome the troubles of the market.
Some uses higher leverage to maximize potential profits and thats where you should take caution cause the reversal also could happened. The higher the leverage the closer liquidation too so its much better to put a leverage you are quite confident with and thats where your experience on market conditions.
228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the point of registering on a CEX if you don't trade? on: March 09, 2024, 04:27:07 AM
Hello,

Now that there are quite a few solutions for buying or staking cryptos, I was wondering what's the point of going through a CEX when you're not trading. I'm sure there are things I don't know, but I'd love to know all the things that are, perhaps, super interesting.
Then its pointless. This question isnt really a question since its obvious to use the cex for trading. Well someone registered for other purposes but this is the sole reason of having one especially if you are gonna undergone some KYC with that. Best one to have an account is Binance.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Venom Token Potential Reward For Early TestNet Users - Guide on: March 09, 2024, 02:16:38 AM
The Venom Foundation announced on its official Facebook page that the snapshot has already been completed - https://twitter.com/venomfoundation/status/1765706568266379661 However, the team suggests logging into your account and completing the last task, receiving the final NFT - https://venom.network/tasks/venom-launch
Also seen this announcement. Hope that they filter all bots that joined this campaign or testnet since many are probably do multi accounts or dummys to gain more tokens. I think the tokens are locked right? Atleast if the rewards are locked hope that real users get it not the farmers.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Market Cap 100 billion today vs less than 5 billion 2020 on: March 08, 2024, 12:12:57 PM
I know the tether discussion is not a new one, however I took a look at their recent spike in market cap and saw that
as of today it crossed 100 billion USD market cap vs just under 5 billion just 4 years ago (20x).
Well its up to you actually since there are a lots of factor but if you are a long time holder then you must have a lot of profits already. Well thats depends on you. The market seems pretty moving fast and you can do is just ride with it or cash it out. If you buy so early then dont you think that this is the time to sell out?
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 08, 2024, 05:35:43 AM
cost? scam? believe? Data cocoon room? This is probably why we are afraid to buy new token. So, starting tomorrow, I plan to take the first step to learn about an unknown token. Everyone is welcome to recommend, and the flag is here. Grin Grin
Well thats a risky one but in all honestly I think that new project is more potential of a gain with more higher than already listed especially when its narrative is based on the current trend now like AI, RWA, lsdi, depin or some memecoin. Well I do think that most will rise are the new ones. L2 are also good lile the one whom never experience bull run like arbitrum and optimism. Theres plenty of choices but now L1 are the one pumping like eth, sol and bnb.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto news sources on: March 08, 2024, 03:17:11 AM
Hi there!

Where do you usually read crypto news? Any good Telegram or Twitter channels worth checking? I'm open to newsletters, podcasts, traditional media or anything else actually. Primarily I’m  looking for sources with concentrated knowledge. Open for good long reads as well. Where to find out about airdrops? This would be very useful too.
I suggest ICOdrops. I followed their telegram announcement and youll get some info or update on some new projects or even update on fundamental update on some new tokens and project. I think it will help you find early alpha especially if they share some new sales that are gonna launch or even be prepared to some ICOs. Even airdrops or new testnet are being shared so this is a user friendly news page.
233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Scams in Each Market Condition? on: March 07, 2024, 03:12:47 PM
Hello, I have a question for you that regards crypto scams. In the years since I started to invest in bitcoin, I have come to understand that there are different types of crypto scams and fraudulent activities depending on whether we are in a bull run or a bear market cycle. For example just as we are looking at reaching a new bitcoin ATH soon, I can imagine that certain opportunistic scams may become more prevalent as bad actors try to capitalize on the hype and mania. Also, I think that in the bear markets there will also be another kind of scam where scams try to take advantage of the fear and desperation some investors feel.  Due to the changing landscape of crypto scams between bull and bear cycles, what are some of the typical scams to watch out for in each market condition?
Well for starter avoid the telegram or social chats. These people are usually pretending to be an admin or someone authorize about certain concern and eventually will lead you on the scam site. These are the one you should avoid.

Next is the links. Most people got scammed due to airdrop and dropping on fake links that they thought the real one. These are the common modus of them but other than that some are quite tricky method.
234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need honest advise concerning this. on: March 07, 2024, 10:57:17 AM
I've been advised that as a newbie i shouldn't rush but to learn from old forum members and grow. But then, I've seen that for one to grow over here you need to get merited and on a regular basis, well i believe at this point i should've been able to acquire some merits, despite the fact that I'm still a Newbie but then i don't see the Merits coming, even after some post i felt could fetch the Merits. It makes me wonder if my posts are not Merit worthy or Quality enough.

Though it almost got me díscouraged, however instead of being discouraged, I'm open to learning ways or how to get the Merits and grow on here, my questions are what I'm i doing wrongly? How can i improve it and also where is the best board to write on if i need these Merits coming?
First of all dont aim for merits at the start of course youll be named as merit earner or something. Dont try hard just be natural. Many newbies thought that posting a long post or a huge wall could give them merits. Maybe it is but its case to case basis since most users have their long post with sense but if youll just joined with an empty knowledge and just going to post for merits then nothing will work out. Make sure to build content or topics that are worth noticing if no idea just read some references.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: March 07, 2024, 05:48:52 AM
I received an airdrop that I staked several years ago and then eventually turned into ETH and left staked.  It is now worth over $45,000!!!  Granted, it also led me down the path of web3 which easily probably cost me the loss of half that much, but who knows, maybe those NFTs will be worth something someday (wishful thinking).
Wow thats a great profit mate. However thr path to web3 really painful especially if you encountered some scams along the way. But I think it will never be the same again as many projects or some platform can easily detected multiple threats on such newbie projects that are launching. Anyways happy for you, hope youd cash out some fo those 45k gains.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Layer 2 projects worth watching now? on: March 07, 2024, 03:26:05 AM
Well title says it all, layer 2 scaling solutions are basically an interesting development in blockchain technology. By conducting some transactions off-chain, protocols like Polygon and Arbitrum aim to dramatically increase throughput while cutting costs.
Well really cant blame it though as layer2 reduced the transaction on some main like eth making it more cheaper transaction fees. Well I am using a lot of layer2 like arbitrum and optimism just to transact on some dapps and the fees werent that expensive compared to eth mainnet. Also some users were jumping off ship due to the gas fee eth has been showing lately.
237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Prepare Your Children For Bitcoin Investment and Not for Government Jobs. on: March 06, 2024, 02:10:09 PM
Why depend on Government they can be prepapred for a larger greenish pasture out there or for a private company later on. Well incorporating knowledge abiut investment to be follow later in when they grasp at a proper age. But now the focus should be on education and future endeavor you dont wanna pressure your kids about it for an early stage. They wanna play like a normal id too.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nibiru Chain Engagement Airdrop on: March 06, 2024, 11:14:42 AM
Heads up to everyone that joined the campaign they will list on Bybit next week possibly the airdrop would be good especially the te are filtering some bots and possible multi participants.

Hope my points were enought to grab some good airdrop free money. Anyone also joins here?
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Upside in Exchange Tokens on: March 06, 2024, 06:52:52 AM
Best of all, as the holder of exchange native tokens you can benefit from staking, launchpad allocations, trading bonuses and more perks provided by the platforms. With continued competition between exchanges to scale globally, 2024 could be another breakout year for exchange tokens if networks expand as predicted. But what do you think of the tokens guys?
As long as you take advantage of the features and privilege you can get from them then youll know if they have potential. For example the Binance coin which utilize a small fee but  able to conduct a lot of transactions. Also take note the chance to participate on their program like launchpool and launchpad that eventually give users edge to make such profits from other projects free or small risk investment.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 06, 2024, 04:59:01 AM
So with this, I'd like to ask. Have you come across any meme contests lately?
Meme contest? Like a reward type event. Not sure though but I am degen on some memecoins but unfortunately maybe my luck wasnt good. But of course I am still trying to rely on my guts to win some good memecoin or should I say earned from it. Memecoin is a risky gamble but if you able to choose invested a good project or meme then surely the gains would be sky high.
