921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Couple of questions for GameFI projects on: September 24, 2023, 08:02:58 PM
Now if a project has 'X' amount of percentage allocated to burn those tokens whenever there are transactions to create and keep the scarcity of those tokens AND to increase the value of available tokens, then is it safe to say those tokens may/will keep increasing the price in the future because of the scarcity created to the token holders?
Possible it can but its not that simple. Burning is sometimes the way of project to see some potential investors or users. Cause we all knew that when a certain project keeps buzzing about burning the people are becomes active of course they are familiar with the supply and demand quote but like I said if theres nothing special about the project X or ways users will keep their interest evem though supply is intact its still gonna go down. Developing a project is hard and its a working progress even though they are succesful already cause theres a lot of fishes out there, why would certain users focus on your project isnt it?
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are new cryptocurrency projects a viable investment choice? on: September 24, 2023, 07:44:00 PM
Some can be a viable investment choice while others are not. It totally depends on the project some have a very good concept while others are simply just hype. Make sure to make a good research on any project before making your investment choice to avoid losing your funds.
Theres plenty of new project on the horizons and we cant simply narrowed it down to the best one. Yes new projects literally carry risk and thats what we need to eliminate upon due diligence. Im not saying OPs share of interest with the project is wrong but if you browse the website and its affiliated socials you can see that its not as quality as it is. Not saying Im good on research but you can check the website itself and for me theres nothing special about this one.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you see any value in move to earn crypto projects? on: September 24, 2023, 05:09:38 PM
There are some move to earn projects like stepn, stepapp etc . Do you see any value in them or it is just a death spiral?
Not sure but before there are lots of move to earn pojects that become trend but later on died too. There is a project on Binance I remember that got hype due to the sneakers and walking to earn crypto but now has been quiet eversince. Well different gimmick could literally become a mainstream once community had seen it but the consistency is quite hard actually.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Couple of questions for GameFI projects on: September 24, 2023, 04:01:39 PM
My question is, why their token/crypto prices decreased/died after a certain amount of time, despite those games still being played on a day-to-day basis? E.g. Axie Infinity.
Well like the case of Axie Infinity, the supply has been saturated with a lot of tokens making its worth less valuable. Also many players have played and comes along. Of course the supply would increase in due time and selling is inevitable. Also the market plunge that badly which affects other altcoins too like axie infinity. Only if they manage to maintain a system for axie this wouldnt happened. A lot has changed since then which also other players become uninterested.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good fundamentals don't ensure a great investment. on: September 23, 2023, 09:58:34 AM
Well you dont only based the project strenght on its inflation rate. We should also check its use cases around their ecosystem does those unloaded tokens have usefulness in such horizon or not? Well if its in demand then its price would increase no matter how big the supply being release on specific time. Yes supply and demand of such commodity matter but also its only a part of what we can see on future of different project.
926  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with your transactions. on: September 23, 2023, 09:24:31 AM
Let us try not to be in a rush to make transactions as we might end up regretting for a long period of time instead of using few minutes to glance through the transaction again. Paxos was lucky that the money was refunded because it was the mining fee which can be traced to the minimg pool, but when it is the wrong address, it becomes more complicated.
Yes you are right. Transactions details must not be rush, as potential wrong doings might push to errors. Luckily they didnt made a wrong address cause thats a big mistake if ever and the receiver doesnt return it then its a big thank you. I wonder if a mistake like that could csuse the receiver a crime or something to be jail off if he fails to return the funds?
927  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn how scammers capitalise on a trending coin or token. Save your funds. on: September 23, 2023, 08:55:49 AM
The problem is that most of the hype are being copycat and anyone who misses the first one they wanted to ride on the next ones which doubtedly will create the same hype during like Pepe era. Most degens are risky so we cant really stop these guya from hoping to be a millionaire someday anyway a good warning to be not an exit liqudity to such lousy project is a must at a time like this.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies should gain broader payment gateway acceptance soon? on: September 22, 2023, 09:06:09 PM
Whether you're a seasoned crypto investor, a casual user, or someone just beginning to dip their toes into the world of digital currencies, your input is valuable. Join the conversation, voice your opinions, and help shed light on the future of cryptocurrency adoption in the realm of digital payments. Together, we'll uncover which cryptocurrencies hold the most promise and potential for widespread acceptance, offering insights that could shape the future of finance and technology.
Well popularity is one key to current competition. Well we have the likes of bitcoin and eth but there are out there that could be used as well. Im not sure L1 projects that are competing with eth could somehow manage now but maybe in the future if they could improved all the development and secure more recognition among all countries maybe. I am thinking matic, could be a game changer with the likes of trx, litecoin and dogecoin. Obviously binance coin which has an outstanding performance and known by a lot due to the Binance exchange.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I can't keep up with the High gas fees on: September 22, 2023, 06:22:45 PM
When I mention "high gas fees," I'm referring to fees that surpass the current charges imposed by Visa and Mastercard. After all, decentralized finance (DeFi) aims to compete in this space. Is it reasonable to anticipate that individuals investing thousands of dollars should be content with paying tens of dollars in gas fees for each transaction, especially during what we consider "busy" periods?
Certainly random. Its actually depend on the network usage and the particular L1 or L2 which you will be used. If you picked ethereum, ecpect its higher than others since tis the most used network and has a lot of dapps and users. Considering the fees might be crucial since its a normal routine now on defi projects. Normally if theres a certain of hype happening on such network, the fees tend to increase due to usage and thats normal well cant give an accurate day or time for that.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: September 22, 2023, 05:36:01 PM
But there are no layer zero airdrops btw Grin.  So don't waste your money on layer zero.  Also, they will farm forever.  First, they need to focus on the FTX case against them. It was a 45M deal.
To be honest, you might be sound real. But if you think about it, layerzero would launch a token sincr they have a Vc and the longest speculation they got for an airdrop seems to be favor them since a lot inject liquidity and do some major transactions.. They arent gonna rubbish enough to be an asshole not to give a gartitude for that unless they are using everyone to boost only their protocol. A good developer would fee the needed to do so especially if you knew that your project would be supportef by dozen of community.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most transparent, reliable and promising cryptocurrency at the moment on: September 22, 2023, 03:28:55 PM
Okay, what do I need to do to make you realize that it's a totally honest cryptocurrency?
Well a lot of things mate. First of is prove thr authencity of the project, you cant simply post here and everybody would like it just like that. More testing and affiliation and more legit marketing within the community. People here not gonna trust you so easily so remember to push it to the limit. Not everyone can b convinced especially a lot of shitcoins around.
932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should newbies invest with small capital in BTC on: September 22, 2023, 01:06:47 PM
For newbies who have funds and willing to risk they can alot more funds provided that they knew already how the bitcoin works or yet to say they understand the volatility surrounding it. Not so many newbies learn the basics of it and just buy due to financial advice that it will eventually grow. They must be equipped with knowledge how the market works so to take advantage of the market.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most transparent, reliable and promising cryptocurrency at the moment on: September 21, 2023, 08:25:22 PM
I would believe this if it was Elon who posted about the coin related to Mars. If someone gonna make a shitcoin please bear in mind to be a decent and realistic one. Yes shitcoin only tends to be hype if they got some narrative or reason for a trend but this one is totally sucks. Also why this is posted lile its being shill does OP is an investor of the token or hired poster for this project?
934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seniors apply patience and kindness to newcomers on: September 21, 2023, 07:24:19 PM
It's true that some posts from newcomers may be of low quality or show a lack of willingness to learn initially. However, I believe that giving them a chance and treating them with kindness is a reasonable approach.
Yes respect to real newbies maybe yes. But like others said. There were new users or beginners account whom seems to be faking as newbie and yet trying to farm merits. Well its hard to tell actually nowadays but they knew somehow. I dont act rude or harsh when it comes to newbie or fake newbies. But if the topics is really an old one or been used or asked many times. This is where the part you lecture or at leadt say something about the forum rules.
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 21, 2023, 06:23:44 PM
They say, it's gonna be a combination of many factors and first the ETFs that are likely to get approved soon especially the ones that are filed by the biggest institutions. Next would be the AI hype but I'm not expecting that there will be a bigger force that it will contribute on this next bull run. Other than that, I'm just looking forward to the actual push of what halving is going to do alone.
I think its much timing on the bitcoin halving. Its pretty obvious they will timeline the approval on that schedule. So etf approval for bitcoin moon mission but its not enough. There must be some factor on the altcoin side to be a huge bull run effect. Dont think so its gonna be metaverse, maybe socialfi or lsdefi could be the main trigger.
936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 21, 2023, 10:11:07 AM
Last bitcoin halving btc exploded that much and trigger the bull run with some alts p2e era tokens. Now not sure what would be the trigger here. Some are bullish already, let me say that dont get too excited as we are still in bearish. Reserved your joy once you see it really happening and right now position yourself if you are that confident that it will happen again. Expectation is really hurtful when it didnt happened.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balancer frontend is being attacked on: September 21, 2023, 09:52:15 AM
I would not be shocked if the official news reported the involvement of Lazarus, however, I would also not be shocked if it was not true hehehe.
Probably it is possible they linked it again. Sometimes the media is quite clever and putting blames on the hacker itself but I am finding on chain evidences that are more credible like how zach used to investigate before believing to it. Chances are Government are making it pinned to Lazarus Group but they just wanted to create like you said another executive and finding out reason for it. If theres none make one right? Haha.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could SocialFi be the new trend in crypto? on: September 20, 2023, 06:00:38 PM
Do you think SocialFi can be the new trend in crypto? What are the centralized or decentralized projects that will succeed?
I thinking it could be the next or the one slowly havung attention from projects like ts, friend tech, and tipcoin all of it encourage be active on social media specifically twitter. So I guess if this extended or expanded by new ones or those I mentioned surely socialfi could be a great trigger for bull run. Thats still depend on the hype and trend but there are some failures too but thats fine we will see if socialfi, metaverse or defi will still be the game changer on incoming bull run.
939  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 20, 2023, 03:08:28 PM
Most of these airdrops are scams so newbies should avoid these airdrops. Scammers especially promote fake airdrops on social media. Gmail is a street where a lot of fake scam airdrop mail can be found.
Before these kind of airdrops are quite legit like around 2017 to 2019. There are really just wallet add and email like form style airdrops where devs giving tokens and had valuable prices. But now its change aside from doing a lot of task in the end the reward is not worth it cause some shift to nft prizes or tokens that arent being distributed. It seems the worth it drops are into spending like retroairdrop and interactions to protocols.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balancer frontend is being attacked on: September 20, 2023, 11:46:30 AM
I think these scammers are really targeting defi hub right now. Since this months few protocols already been compromise and now even Balancer has been breached. Every protocol out there must upgrade their security measure as they need to defend from this group. You think the one that continously doing this came from a certain group? Like the Lazarus hackers from the North Korea?
