21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The GG Poker Paradox: Thriving in a Declining Industry on: October 09, 2024, 11:46:33 PM
What could be the reason behind such failures? Is it because poker, in general, is on the decline?(collusion, solvers etc.). Even most traditional fiat-based established poker platforms are not doing well, except GG.

When something is not doing well, then it calls for attention and we have to check in what is the possible cause for that, this may be that such game or platform style is not invoke anymore and by this its going on a decline, it may also be that the best advertisement and promotion on that aspect is not much enough to have fascinate the interest of gamblers on paying such game, lastly, we may be having an operational error in this regard, which may be due to poor management.
There are alot of reasons and things to bring a project down to the it kneels no matter how active such a project is and for sure if there is lack of experience and intelligence then it could lead to a faster collapse in most cases and if you check a few of those projects that have taken such a position of being declared a failed project, you could easily trace it failure to mostly failure of management a d poker being a highly technical game requeirs alot of experience and responsibilities to stand out running it service.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A good gambler should learn to visit replays, highlights and histories on: October 09, 2024, 11:09:38 PM
The fact that gambling most especially sport betting need alot of analyses so going over the top ld matches is something that is most important and an aid to your possible winning, this is the very end of every failure in gambling, I don't think without indebt information to be able to win a good number of successful bets, so watching games that are missed..

So for sure regardless of what could have become the current formation of the teams and how best it will impact the motivation of the club's, their past performance could easily speak volume on the success of their current and future games, so having that information helps alot.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hiccups that can occur during Bitcoin investments. on: October 09, 2024, 10:56:17 PM
Are there any recurrent hiccups that can happen at the initial stage, that needs to be noted, when an investor just begins investing in Bitcoin and also when he/she is trying to replicate a previous bitcoin investment strategy for good returns?

That is in essence, what are some recurring hiccups, that could hinder a successful Bitcoin investment plan?
The first thing to know about bitcoin is that Bitcoin is a volitile asset and for that being a primary foundation you should know as a newbie bitcoin investment is that you should be ready lose at first although not all the time but most happening is that when you buy Bitcoin you tend to be able to accept the initial loses and stand in for long term investment.

Because of that short term outcome is the reason why we mostly advice newbies that they should be readg to take long term approach to bitcoin.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2009 on: October 09, 2024, 10:29:29 PM
The only thing that could have earn you bitcoin at that time was your engagement in either mining bitcoin in a very easy and newbie friendly ways using your personal computer, just like what we are seeing in the shitcoins market where some users can mint those coin just by using they telegram accounts, to get free coins, so same was the condition of bitcoin as at Feb 2009 but gradually bitcoin becomes more popular and attractive with attached value and since when bitcoin became tradeble on Cex exchange it value have grown significantly.

25  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen.eu just cancelled ALL free contests on: October 09, 2024, 06:45:16 PM
So has anyone deposited there lately?

More importantly, have you cashed out from Nitro in the last 2-3 weeks? Please share your experience here
I don`t see any reasons why someone can`t withdraw or deposit. They just cancelled free money. I don`t see anything common with scam. If they want to steal money - it would be better to attract more gamblers with different promotions. I don`t use this casino, but i don`t understand why you think that they are cheaters?
PS. Anyway everybody must make his own research before spending his money.
The fact their did not canceled your already accumulated contest winnings, or even take fees from you to subcribe to the contest and then canceling it then means that you have not been scammed and you should avoid calling them outright scam at this point.

A team have every right to cancel whatever program that their initiated at any point in time and for that, you can't call them scam, it may be a way to avoid some abuse on the platform, although I haven't used that platform before so I will likely not know what challenges that the casino could possibily be facing thatake them to cancel the contest.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: That's why rich and wealthy people want to be in politics and direct goverments on: October 09, 2024, 11:41:01 AM
The whole thing ball down to capitalist mindset, those that have wealth control the government so as to protect they wealth and business empire from harsh economic conditions, so for sure it easier for a guy like Donald Trump to make his way to power since he have the financial and political tools to get there and from the m that point he can protect his other business empire and his wealth eventually.

27  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐵 MonkeyTilt.com | Top Crypto Casino & Sportsbook 🍌 on: October 08, 2024, 10:55:48 PM
Oh sorry mate, that you are unable to register an account on this casino from your country, I will like to know if gambling is entirely banned in your country's or the casino have a list of restricted countries, knowing this can help us know what the best suggestion as an alternative.

Between using a VPN could become the last resort for you, but you should be ready to face some troubles aside from the fact that the team may or may not support that, you still have slow lsite loading to deal with while on VPN and that sucks most of the time.
Gambling isn’t entirely banned here in the Philippines, but there have been recent crackdowns on online gambling operations, especially those run by foreign entities. I think this might be one of the reasons why I’m facing issues aside from casino restrictions. I know that using a VPN could be a last resort, but I don’t consider using it anymore due to slow site loading times, which is frustrating. Additionally, there’s always the risk that the casino’s support team might not assist.
Well I don't think VPN will be the last option considering the fact that using a VPN could greatly affects the game processing since quit alot of data will be required to run an external VPN and this can affect the overall gaming experience in a negative ways, since it slow down you network and even eat dip into your internal device processing system.

I think if there is no much thing as regards to regulations, if it be left for casino site, approving a country from ban list is easy since that is another way to grow their market.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone have gambling experience on Tor? on: October 07, 2024, 11:00:32 PM
Actually, I was wondering whether that is it really possible to have full enjoyment on the Tor browser with the crypto casino or do anyone here a real experienced on tor friendly casino or if is there any list of tor-friendly casino's? Kindly share your experience-
And make an opinion on how you maintain privacy in a casino like suppose for your job purpose you have to do a test on a casino so how you will maintain the privacy?

Anytime I try to load tor browser on my device, I always have heavy traffic and data usage and if my Internet connection is not strong, I could end up unable to access the website or even the browser, so gambling with such a browser that demand heavy data usage wont be that fun to do, since the games will be lagging to load and even the site may not functioning optimally due to that data consumptions.

Tor in not in my list of browsers for gambling, at most I use chrome browser or any other browser with a less and lighter data usage which make the game more fun to play at some point in time.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Increase of taxes requires more job opportunities on: October 07, 2024, 10:27:28 PM
Since this topic is not directed to me one country but it n a general bases, the issue of taxation can differs from countries to country because at some state or region, tax payers get the services for they money and also the government provides infrastructure development that help the citizens to achieve their financial goals there by paying off the tax without any frustrations.

Unlike some me other countries where there is high rate of corruption and high rate of unemployment and underemployment which have drain their citizens and plug them into high levels of poverty which have resulted into they incapacitated to pay tax, so comparing both countries in one context can mislead our thoughts on this topics.

31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not use gate.io if you value your money on: October 07, 2024, 01:30:05 PM
A password I never set is blocking me from accessing my money. Instead of resetting it, gate.io said "fuck you". Not "send your ID here for verification", they said "fuck you, we are not doing anything."

Do not put your money into gate.io unless you want to get robbed.

Sad to see a platform putting such shit to your face as a user, but the we may like to see prove of what you mentioned, such as a screenshot of the reply you get when you contacted them and also how it all ended between you guys.

Again do you have a kyc verification of any kind on the account,
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be discipline in managing your bankroll? on: October 07, 2024, 12:59:10 PM
I don't have any set bankroll for betting each month, what I do is to set aside an amount that I can afford to manage to play for long with that can at least cover my whole week even though if I go on a persistent loses, and if I get lucky to win a few bets along the way, I make sure to withdraw my winnings before anything else.

Difference bettors with their own unique bankroll management, but the most important thing is to stick to the approach that best work for you as an individuals.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian Government plans to begin taxing gambling. on: October 05, 2024, 08:55:40 PM
Governments do not raise or impose taxes on an industry from a good life. So there is a budget shortfall in Nigeria. It is not known what percentage of tax payments will be used for the intended purpose, because the level of corruption in Nigeria is quite high, but sooner or later any government comes to the need to regulate one or another area and gambling is no exception. Whether the government will protect the interests of both gambling platforms and gamblers is a big question.
The current federal government lead by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is tax oriented and at that alot of tax increase and tax introduction have taken place in the economy, and if a sensitive industry like cryptocurrency could be targeted for tax, then gambling industry which is another growing aspect of the economy will definitely get taxed.

I also believe that majority of the popular casinos around Nigeria are well taxed, so for sure the government coming out at this point to push for more gambling taxation is mostly expected at this point, but just as you said, the high rate of corruption won't make the tax to work effectively for what it is meant for.
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Clinch - a PvP bitcoin lightning wagering platform! on: October 05, 2024, 08:45:44 PM

There are regional restrictions largely due to distributing via the App Store. But regulation around skill-based wagering is constantly changing, so we are updating the game regularly to include new countries and territories where it's allowed.
Are you also a part of the team running this project, because from your statement, it seems so and for sure we may directly channel some few questions to you since you are active here in the thread, nice to know also from previous comment that you guys are in for a long term deal and at that we can only expect the best if and when the team keep working together to get something new and classic to their customers.

Also as suggested there is a need for you guys to also pay close attention to the issue of promotions because it is through promotion that you can easily reach your expected audience.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Community Influence on Cashing Out or Holding On in Sports Betting on: October 05, 2024, 04:20:19 PM
I remembered when I cashed out 0.005 on stake.com on that particular date, my games have been played almost 80% and j st one game remaining to go and with a distance of about three days before the game will be played, so at that point I was nit under any pressure to cash out the game, but then I just ask myself a simple question that haven't are made enough gain in the bet and if yes, why the do I need to wait all this time and probably lose the bet at the end.

So I was excited to have cashed out that amount, even though this decision was not influenced by anybody because I never share my bet information with anybody.
36  Economy / Reputation / Re: Happy birthday o_e_l_e_o. on: October 05, 2024, 06:55:23 AM
I have mixed feelings about this thread. On the one hand I think this thread is redundant and should be locked, as happened with other threads before. He announced what was going to happen and left us. But on the other hand I also don't want to appear to be censoring the discussion of such a great member of the forum.
Most of the time I am going to agree, but o_e_l_e_o was pretty awesome to me when my health was at it's worst and gave me an option to have someone to talk to if needed. That was something that not many would do for someone they don't even know, not to mention he was knowledgeable about the subject as well. So, while I don't normally condone this type of thread, I will say Happy Birthday and wish you were here my man!!!
Yeah I remember back when yahoo622278 was having the health challenge, men that was a tough time for all of us his fans and friends, and individuals who came through for him can hardly be forgotten or kept silent on anytime they are mentioned, and on the second note o_e_l_e_o was and incredible forum member that the mention of his name will always attract the attention of forum members, so we may let this thread be and wish o_e_l_e_o a happy forum birthday, although this is not his real life birthday date anyways.

But wishing him all the best and hope he is fine and good.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: pc got hacked and lost about 100k on: October 04, 2024, 11:33:52 PM
The best step to take right now is to report this incident to the authority if you leave in a country where cryptocurrency is legal, because it only with the government involvement that you can get the exchange to do anything about the USDT, but mind you, the bitcoin in the said wallet may not be recoverable, since no one can freeze bitcoin in individual wallet unlike USDT that could be freeze on legal request.

So reporting the case is the first step to take in this situation, because it is only with a Warrant that the exchange will be forced to obey the request to freeze that scammers account.
38  Other / Meta / Re: Having a post locked temporarily vs having it deleted immediately on: October 04, 2024, 11:25:55 PM

I know shit post are meant to be tracked and fizzled out of this forum and I can't dictate for the moderators and admins, but for improvement sake and a possible prevention of a repeat of such post, isn't it better for administrators to just lock the post for awhile, rather than delete it immediately?

Or isn't it more appropriate for administrators to apply any of the options of which includes to either lock the post for a while and delete later, or arrange similar shit posts into a separate board and delete later, so as it acts as a reminder to others and to the creator of such post on the kind of post not to make and present?
I think as far as low quality posts and threads is concern, the admin have the best solution for now because the subject of low quality shit posts is  based in n individual a d the message it carries, because while some of those posts are deleted automatically, we still ha e those that the topic get locked but not temporary locked though.

Deleting a topic now have to do with the content of the topic, take for example, the current spam attack by new accounts who constantly keep creating shit topic all with same write up if such a thread isn't deleted automatically it going to create a mess around even it their locked, so the admin are doing their best as far as posts quality measures is concerned in this forum.
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: cosmowincasino https://www.cosmoswin.com/casino?lang=en Complaints on: October 04, 2024, 10:06:29 PM
Some of the Casinos that are given attractive bonuses are always dangerous. And those players or gamblers who like to pursue attractive bonuses end up losing. You were lucky that you deposit was refunded. At least that can calm your nerves a bit. Op let the link should be in the body of the thread and not on the topic. You can change the topic to "cosmowincasino Refused to Pay my Winning". And since they refunded your capital then I believed you didn't violate their ToS. Therefore they would have paid your wins.

And if CEG is not replying to complains then it is good you go through their representative if there.is any here.
You are right because scammers uses that tactic of bonuses to get the attentions of the gamblers, at at that point it will definitely make alot of sense to us is you see other fraudulent casinos such as 1xbits and 1xbets offering tons of bonuses all with the aim to get hold of the gambler and ultimately scamming them, so I am always sceptical about any casino that punches bonuses as their front line marketing strategy.

From the look of things, this casino have not really done so much me basic home work to at least know what is acceptable and right here and how alart we are as a people here on the gambling section, most expecially with new casinos.
40  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ⭐⭐ Elysium Wallet - Full control, zero trust - made in switzerland ⭐⭐ on: October 04, 2024, 09:19:53 PM
I wanted to download it to find out if it is a BIP39 wallet and also to know the bitcoin derivational paths it is supporting. But I was unable to download it on Google Play Store.

Most noncustodial wallets are on Google Play Store for people in my country to download. Why is this different when there is no any government restriction?

Is there any reputable site like GitHub that I can download the wallet file? Is the wallet open source? How can we know the public can check and review the code like the code to be available on GitHub?
Really you mean is not avaliable to Nigeria Google store users, I want to try to download the wallet to check and see what is happening over there, but seeing your comment right make me discourage to try it out, I hope may be this is as a result of your connections or OS but then let me try to download from apple store to see if I will get the same message and if anything different, I will update the thread so that the team can do something about it.

Update just tried to download on my android device and it says not available, team please do something about this restriction if not you may be locking out a huge number of your clients.
