181  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Request on: March 29, 2024, 11:03:07 PM
You are a joker, a newbie coming out to request a 1BTC non collateral loan is a huge joke, really you think members of this forum so gullible to take such deal, that have almost 90% possible red flags.

I laugh!
182  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Opay SCAM...Beware!!! on: March 29, 2024, 10:19:21 PM
I was even afraid of what happened to Op network fow the few two days because I was in the POS office and was about to transfer money to the POS sake girl and I the message I got was like I have been hacked or what? And the way scammers are looking for all the ways to scam people is getting out of hand. And the scam is not only in Opay but also in another Banks and I what you have to do is to be careful and be smart about your assets so that even though you get the Scammers message you will know what time did. Experience is the best me I don enter well well so I know all their tricks.
The best teacher is always experienced and with the level of experience we have grained over the year with scammers, I think it will be very hard for scammers to be able to get through to some of us, online platforms are the most targeted since Internet fraud is believed to give some scammers sense of privacy and anonymousity which I reality is not so, and also we need to check ourselves very well and keep being informed.

Recently I hard to deactivate almost all the banks notifications and other notifications from my phone so at leat I limit my access and notice to only the things that I as a customer desire to access and make use of from the platform instead of receiver unsolicited promotions which most or some of them are from scammers.

Not only okay that is a target or mostly used, other online banks also have their own  liphole or services that can be manipulated and preached to gullible customers and they accept the offer.
183  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Give respect to your teachers and parents on: March 29, 2024, 09:25:57 PM
In most cases, we often concentrate on the children because they are growing up and wouldn't want them to got mixed up with the society influence with bad manners, some of our adults and grown up men were also not left out in these altogether, we must value our parents and teachers if really we wanted same thing to be reciprocated back on us, we are whom we are today through the influence of our parents and the love from our teachers who had vested alot on us.
I believe everyone in the forum should be close to or above 18 so the advice concerns every and all ages here and outside the forum, because respect for those that thought us morality and civil ways of life shouldn't be looked down on for no reason and for we have to put everything in place to make sure that our respect and honour for our parents who are our first life teacher is undoubtedly and unbeatable.

And any one that have regards for the parents will always have the moral ability and quality's to honor and respectanyone that ever come across them and much more those that he fines and sees ahead of him or her, so the issues of respect for teachers and parent is top priority.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a best bounty campaign to join ? on: March 29, 2024, 08:38:24 PM
Bounty is 100% no guarantee and shouldn't be taken as an extra or a source of income,  intact nothing like income.e from Bounty and if anyone get any reward from bouty you should know that that rewards will be little to nothing significant or they don't get the reward at all,  which to some extent goes along to say how worthless Bounty have become lately with the presence of many scam project the section is a mess as it is.

Even the bounties that are run by reputable member can't guarantee any good outcome, and for that I personally will never waste my time on any bounty.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way forward - Towards $100k or $50k on: March 29, 2024, 08:29:36 PM
In last two week we have seen a fluctuation in the price of Bitcoin as at one point it looked like it will drop to $50k but quickly it rebounded back and crossed $71k once again and now it just under $70k. What do you think would be the next zone, will Bitcoin rally towards the long awaited $100k mark or dip towards $50k? I know no one can speculate or predict it accurately but just share your thoughts with any valid reasons behind it.
At the moment,  I think bitcoin will do  more of a stable movement that is a frequent correction and with little percentage price movement that will be between a 10% gain or drop at each point, that is that bitcoin is going to rely around the 70k-71k+at most up until the next halving and then after we are going to see a major market break out which will mark the anticipated bull run market which bring in new all time high.
186  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 29, 2024, 07:51:51 PM
Responsible gamblers will avoid or curtail their gambling habits since they have an obligation to take care of and support their families at all times.

A family man who is addicted to gambling and bets excessively without prioritizing his family is not one to be proud of when it comes to his financial situation because he sees gambling as a source of income to support himself and his family. A bad move, which I am sure of, that doesn't end well
Responsible gamblers will not trying to break their own rules because they knows what risks that they will gets. They gets the bad experiences before and will not wants to have the same experiences.

Having a children will makes gamblers knows that they must become responsible playing gambling because they have the important matters that they must gives priority. Gambling will not becomes their priority because gambling is just a fun activity in their spare time so they will not playing gambling too often.
I agree with the both of you on your opinion about gambling responsibility and having children being an addiction to responsible gambling,  this is true any ways but the fact that the gamblers have a choice to make wether or not to be a responsible gambler still matters in some and few instances,  because some of the cases that we have seen are all involve with people who have families being the major hit when discussing gambling addictions.

Much more also we need to settle between wether being responsible have anything do with the individual family statuses, because gambling is all about rules regulations and criteria and this all can be done by anyone regardless of they marital status or number of dependence.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 28, 2024, 11:48:00 PM
I recently self excluded myself from a casino and I think it another form of restrictions but this time its self restrictions,  but the aspect of being restricted by the casino, I haven't experience such before and all the casinos that I have accounts on have never restricted before.
I don’t think that counts, really. Should you have stopped gambling, I would say you just started a step to fighting addiction and would have been a nice one but, this is you just finding a better alternative, isn’t okay with some of their policies and platform functions. I wouldn’t call that a restriction, just change of priority.
The fact is that, the said casino I self excluded myself is a fiat casino that hard the platform implemented into a banking apps that I was using for my daily transactions,  and each time I kog in to my bank apps I am always tempted to make a small deposits and gamble with, when this became a concern and I fine it a trap due to the ease of making deposits so u hard to self exclude from the casinos as to kill all possibility of ever trying make further deposit.
Quote
Meanwhile, I haven’t had myself restricted from any physical (local) gambling house before, I was well within age grade when I started gambling and haven’t fault the rules at any particular time. For the online Casinos or gambling platform, same applies and am cool with my practices so far.
Just as a mentioned earlier,  I don't think the act of restrictions is only based on two factors,  one is when the country authorities ban the casino and make it restricted to the citizens,  and the second reason is when the gambler violate the rules and laws of the casino that way they can get restricted.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 28, 2024, 11:04:14 PM

Most casinos are not fast at offering or issuing a ban/restrictions on the customers unless they break so.e rules of the casino.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: March 28, 2024, 10:55:05 PM
Emotional stress is one of the biggest thing that could actually affect anyone when gamble because you would need every part of your brain to be functional and active when playing and that's why even a simple glitch in the focus of mind can lead to so many errors while gambling and even mistakes so it's better to gamble when refresh and relaxed because you would be thinking straight and not doing crazy things just to get at the winning that might be getting so hard to come.
Emotional stress can definitely lead to poor gambling decisions. It's necessary to be in the right mindset and have a clear mind when playing, because a single mistake might have serious effects. Emotional stress can cause not only flawed bets, but also overspending or unsafe behaviour. This is why many experts recommend taking breaks when gambling and not playing when you are upset, angry, or frustrated.

Yeah right,  both aggressiveness and frustration will lead you to overspend your money, it's always best to have that clear mindset and be as relaxed as you are when playing,  your justification and decision making is far better when  you are at peace while playing the game, the way you place bet when you are stress is taking too much gamble most of the time Yolo happened as you think that it's only the best way to win or recover your money,  if you feel stressed its good to find ways to take some time to relax and quit away to anything that  may cause additional stress such as gambling.
When going through stress of any nature we should avoid making any choice or decisions that involve anything financial because at that point, alot will not be accurate and right with your emotions and this could affect the decision making process and make us to choose the wrong bet and games to stake on.

But if our aims is just to have fun, it will becomes very easily to bear any outcome of whatever games we select since our main is to have fun and lesson our stress as we go along.

191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: March 28, 2024, 06:59:10 PM
Basically they are no longer harmonious, because they no longer have one direction, one perception and one goal. So it will be quite difficult for couples to continue their relationship well. Moreover, this couple received quite a large prize from their betting activities, with this money they were able to let go of their dependence on each other. and living alone is not a problem for him because he has enough money beside him. And dividing the money evenly is the best solution. but it was very unfortunate, just because of greed, instead of the money being able to provide happiness, the money they got only caused chaos which further complicated their relationship. And in the end, instead of them being able to enjoy the money for fun, the money is actually used up for court costs and to pay lawyers. Really stupid....
Just as you have rightly mentioned,  greed is at play I both couples and there is high chances also that they already hard a stray relationship because if everything where to be good between the couples they should have been able to work things out within themselves and even if they will have a joint account for such an amount and split I within them later it could have been more mature.

Also from the story, we already know that the woman stated that the money used to purchase the ticke was her money and for sure she will definitely claim the money but at the end the man also will be legally entitled to some percents of that money being involved in the lottery process that leads to the winning.
192  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: March 28, 2024, 06:45:52 PM
And the people who do not want to complete their KYC did not have their documents submitted elsewhere, and would still not mandatorily submit the documents elsewhere in the future? We should not deceive ourselves, this issue of I-do-not-want-to-do-KYC is so outrageous and the reason they often give is a fish-brain kind of excuse. Most of these guys are worth so little financially, to say the least, so why is that so-called privacy? Fine, privacy is your right but people take it far when they are actually dealing with Public engagements. It is not Private for goodness' sake. Think of it, will casinos be busy sharing their data with the public or what? It amazes me if I must say.

I see no reason why i can choose to use a kyc gambling casino and when the time comes for them to demand for these information's then i begin to feels bad and disappointed, who should be at fault here, if one is truly the bearer of the account them giving all necessary information's shouldn't be a problem to gamblers, but many wouldn't come here to tell one or two reasons why they cant afford to give those information's because they know that they are trying to do some shady stuffs downward that is unclear to the public.
Before casinos were not asking for KYC at the registration process when joining the casino and when you win big and about to withdraw then they would come up and asked for KYC to withdraw the funds. But recently and probably because of the complains here and there newly launched casinos ask KYC at the beginning of the registration and in the withdrawal time there is no KYC again but only if there is any other documents that you have not submitted before. And I like this latest development because the stress and the anxiety to withdraw the money at the winning time as been reduced. Because when you want to withdraw the funds and KYC is asked, there is tension at that time.
Agbe I don't see any changes from what we used to have in the gambling industry because at some point whatever the new casinos are putting up as the rules are all copy of what we already know based on kyc and how casinos chasing the customers with it, and we have to be clear with something here which is the fact that most of the casino's that comes up with such KYC when players want to withdraw funds are either doing it for the amount in total winnings and intended withdrawals that is when the withdrawal amount is more than the maximum trenchold for none kyc casino at that point the casino have every regulatory right to demand for verification since the amount is huge and the casino is a centralized AML compliance.

The other one that ask for kyc for such are based on they shady practice and in attempt to unduly  hold the funds of the gamblers and this type even when the gambler meet all the demands they will still fail to verify them since they are intentional and meant to scam the gamblers this are bad actor's and scammers in the market.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the #1 rule you live by in sports betting? on: March 27, 2024, 11:12:33 PM
Since you failed to make any clear statement or comments as to convey that question in the ops, I will comment based on the thread title since the question is a bit clear and simple to answer.

One of the things I hate doing lately while on sport bets is tak8ng a leave so fast and soon when the games slidely move against my predictions and also not to allow my greed to take over me to the point that I miss the chances and opportunity as their come along the way.

Some time the missing out is as a result of me making use of the cashout feature just to stop my total lose and at least sustain my gambling trends and time, but along the line I still end up losing the entire amount but along the line the game still will end up in my first line of predictions, so I will always be serious to get the right basic computer know
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: March 27, 2024, 11:04:46 PM
The current price of  Shiba inu is $0.0000296 and Eloncoin was even having more zeros than this shitcoin and today Eloncoin is just a mile to hit $1. So with the experience on that I believe it will go a long way if the project will not die. Although this thread was created January last year and the Op was asking of this bull run if the Shiba Inu airdrop would hit $1 in this period but ironically foe those who predicted that it would hit has been disappointed because the coin is still fr from hitting $1. But that is not withstanding, let see in the few years to come what will happen to the coin.

So so far for Shiba inu to get to that price because it way below that price right now and attaining such hight is certainly out of proportion for now and practically unachievable for a long time from now, but at that end we can not outrightly write off the possibility of that happening since cryptocurrency market is volatile and unpredictable.

We hards a few coins that have recorded such price benchmark before some did almost 1000% price increase and gaining massively, so we can't deny the possibility of seeing Shiba Inu achieving such even though as it looks impossible.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Futurum Gaming on: March 27, 2024, 10:55:53 PM
We have some few gaming tokens that are already doing well in the market and also at the same time we have others that hard spent a long time in their token sale era but eventually made it to the exchanged still are not doing greatly well in terms of investors returns since their price is way below the presale price.

Even though the team may claim to have a working ecosystem that will support the project as in form of providing liquidity for the coin in the start of the project.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: My instincts on the value of bitcoin from now to halving on: March 27, 2024, 10:10:16 PM
Since you mentioned that you made the statement based on your emotions, make it clear that you are speaking based on unflunce which may have come from recent price actions and I won't blame you for making that statement of having a stable price until after the halving, even though we can't give it a 100% go for that to happen but we can loudly say that we have overcome the worst stage of the market where there be heavy volatility

We may also likely see another all time price break out and that will come along the line when we happen to fine any chance for the market breakout before the main event.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run again, huh on: March 27, 2024, 10:00:10 PM
On this forum, I found out some information, and seriously want to ask it here.
What is a realistic expectation from the bull run, given  the last one in March 2021, Bitcoin hit  $61,000 and fell down to 31k about two couple of months later... It rose later on, amazingly though. But is this price fall normal in the bull run?? What is a helpful tip here.
When we refer to the crypto market as volatile, we mean that it can quickly move in any direction and result in either enormous gains or losses. Investors can profit from any movement they decide to exhibit by selling at a profit or buying more at a discount price.
As it stands, we have no idea if the market will see frequent price declines during the halving or ahead of this approaching halving in a few weeks, or if we are to see something similar to that of 2021 halving, given how different this year's halving looks and how bitcoin reached a new all-time high before the halving season.
From the recent bitcoin market movement, it shows that we may likely not see any dip drop in price at least for the time being up until bitcoin halving that is just a few days away from this day, I think with a little drop and pick ups we will ride along to the next major face of the market that will determine a whole lot for the next phase of bitcoin, bull market is around the corner already since bitcoin made the benchmark of a new price high and also being stably above the last 2021 all time price.

Those that are experts in DCA will be making alot of gains along the line and also record's alot of loses but in the end we are going to have a provable long terms gains on the market in the coming months.
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: March 27, 2024, 09:21:10 PM

There is no doubt about that, I personally could say that things can be very usable in terms of those who can put them to use, I know that in many cases corrupt rulers and people who have always done evil to the world have done so with fiat money, we cannot blame the fiat money for the crimes of some people, so sometimes seeing that they say that they have been robbed and that they have done things to be able to establish themselves better in terms of crypto, well it doesn't make much sense to me that they think Thanks to crypto, more thefts can be made these days, all of these are simply tools.

The things that are referred to crypto, the people who hate them invent all kinds of excuses to make them look bad, then based on anonymity and all this that they want to remove, well they simply want to remove it so that everything is exposed, and Those who use crypto, casinos and all this may be exposed.
There have always been alot of misconceptions and propaganda again cryptocurrency and bitcoin most especially which is why we see alot of attacks from various government a and some of it agencies around the world, even though all the criminal who use the fiat monetary process have been left unchecked and uncaught until now, but their are quick to sponsor hate statements against the industry today.

The government have failed in to act right to regulate the financial institutions,  and also making a misplaced priority by chasing the wrong fight.
199  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: While the USD keep falling against naira, let's take the chances to buy more of on: March 27, 2024, 08:12:53 PM
We are in a long walk with the current reshaping of the economy to meet current economic dynamism that come along with the recent naira gains over the dollars which is the major point of blames for the recent hardship and inflation in the country,  it will take a long period of time before the results will reflect on the price of goods and services in the market and until all the old stocks get out of stock many whole sellers will mentain their landing price and just like the first comment mentioned.

But another factor that could possible crash the price of good and services I the place of fuel, if fuel price could drop significantly,  thos could have an immediate impact on the price of goods and basic commodities.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Off Economic phenomenon. on: March 27, 2024, 07:19:26 PM
The exchange rate of naira to dollars is not the course of the economic hardship and the hyke in the price of goods and services within the country,  you should ask yourself this basic questions.

1: is the price of other trading currencies and assets not pricing above the dollars, e.g bitcoin for example is at above $68k+ and yet the United state government is not blaming bitcoin are they?

2: the problem relys much more on export rate against import rates?

Conclusion

Nigeria over dependence on  petroleum and importations of almost everything and low internal production of basic commodities is the major course of the hardship.

Now the naira is appreciating against the United state dollars, but yet the price of goods and services are still skyrocketing on daily basis.
