301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most investors keeps off from AltCoins because they're not good crypto analysts. on: March 13, 2024, 11:22:24 PM
Something about AltCoins that lot of Investors don't know is that you can Invest with a low capital and if you're a good market analyzer to understand that the market holds to offer and going for the right projects, you could always Invest lower capital in that AltCoin and earns bigger of profits at all costs.
But investors who doesn't know about this AltCoin analysis would always have that wrong impressions towards AltCoins. Although AltCoins differs which could grantee you profits and reliability.
You are wrong in your assumption that many stay away from altcoin investment because of lack of analysis ability,  I think it is far from that,  because if you have dive back to previous years when there was altcoin boom you will fine alot of investors showing the skills to puck some of the few coins that we're worth given consideration to,  but at the end,  majority of those altcoins turn out to be pours scams and that have thought many crypto investors some air of suspicious outlook for altcoin...

And also another realistic fact is that,  almost 90% lf the altcoin are scam projects because most of them never made it to the exchange,  or while others will contradict their might so that investors will rather invest in some real coin with long-term consistent in it price building up.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you had bought the previous ATH you're on profit on: March 13, 2024, 10:59:26 PM
This is what it is,  no one wants to buy Bitcoin at an All time high price,  it doesn't work that way and sometimes you may end up making a huge loss or having to wait for a long period before you come out of the loss if you buy at all-time high price,  which is why many people act along with waiting to see when the price come back to it correction level where they have alot of discount,  that way the waiting time become shorter and also easy to get into profits position with that approach of buying low.

Take for example,  those who bought at the previous all-time high,  hard to wait for this long before making the little profits they are seeing now,  and the possibility for them to make more profits within the short term is likely not going to come anytime soon so that the reason why it is a bad idea to buy Bitcoin at a high price if you looking to make good profits in short term or even long terms manners.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: March 13, 2024, 10:34:07 PM
~
Why shocked? All we need is just another month like the last one. If we recall, a month ago we were still hovering around the $42k range. Now, look at us! So, another $30k in a month is certainly possible.  I know, that would be exceptional. But Bitcoin's history is full of surprises.
You know that thing they say about thunder not striking twice at a particular spot? That's the whole scenario I'm trying to paint with the price doing $30k from now and before halving. I think Bitcoin has exhausted that steam to run through another sprint within a short time without a major correction. It's not as if the price won't rally up but I don't think it can go that high. Yes, Bitcoin has a history of surprises and I would be delighted if it pulls another one on us. However, sincerely typing, I don't think that will be possible at this time.
I don't know why I have have high appetite towards the current Bitcoin market trend to continue to increase at this time up until halving when the price of Bitcoin will then stabilize at some point before it eventually makes a definite price benchmark that will run through a long period,  at this that point then we may have up to six months are correction cycle,  but at this moment we may not see likely see any heavy Bitcoin price discount and up until after Bitcoin haling.

Although I don't blame those who speculate a possible price correction down to 30k,  due to the latest events and happenings each time bitcoin makes an all-time high, this time it seems to be different in both approach and realities since bitcoin has really resisted the urge to drop below the all-time high of the previous year.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 10:12:40 PM
I was able to watch this video before. The video is old and seems legit, but we cannot know for sure the true story behind this video. Could be for marketing or a real life story. If this is indeed a true to life story, it's crazy to bet all your savings for 1 bet, but then he is very lucky that luck was on his side and won his 1 bet.
You said the man is crazy but supposing he list, you will say that he is stupid. To me the man is stupid. How will someone bet all his live savings on gambling? I hope he will not have this mindset again as he won. What if he list? He may think of killing himself and he might even kill himself. People like to do things greedily and not think of the consequences if it goes the opposite.
Overall,  it is crazy for anyone to risk such a vital aspect as life savings on a bet,  this could ve as a result of heavy addictions on the part of the man,  because I can't possibly believe what he may have thought to have bet 100% of his holding on a bets which result could be against him at any time.

Only addiction could drive a gambler to think in that line of thought because as an addict he is consumed by his urge to bet more since his focus will be on the total amount in winning when that happens,  anyways he was lucky to have won the bet this time and for sure he may not be that lucky next time,  gambling addictions have eaten deep into some people and they can no longer control their limits which is disastrous at a point.

Any ways also this could be another case of extreme greed where by the gamblers become greedy to want to get max.

306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 13, 2024, 09:21:59 PM
Hi,

As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money , knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.

Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

Is very wrong to think gambling in the same vain as investment because at a point gambling lack any quality or attributes of investment because you are not buying any commodity,  even the odds that you accumulate via gambling is just a balloon point that can go from 100% to zero and at the same time go from zero to 100%,  this is why gambling is a high risk activities and many have lost more than they ever wins,  and on the other hand,  those fraction few that we're able to win some jackpot in not careful still lose everything back to the house if they continue gambling.

Gambling should be taken as way of having and cashing fun and nothing to it,  because thinking otherwise will only increase your risk level and at some point we tend to love hopes since the house edge is always at play in any gambling games,  which is why,  it is risky to have the believe that you will win over the house in any point in time.
307  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How people are making money using P2P that you don't know on: March 13, 2024, 05:00:17 PM
Nice so you made the point here and you have succeeded to promote you referral code in the article but you forget to mentioned what freebies and bonuses await those that register on Bitget and such may not earn you,  your aimed referees.

This is the first time I am hearing about Bitter and for sure from the screenshot you shared,  their rate is not different from others and for that I don't see any reason why I should abandon any exchange that already risks my kyc on to buy into this idea of yours,  since I am not planning to become a merchant over there.
308  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Don't be De-motivated By the current faith in Cryptocurrency in Nigeria on: March 13, 2024, 04:51:03 PM
I thought that this thread is necessary at this point to address a number of things as regards to Fed war against centralized exchanges in Nigeria and what we as forum members should know that will help our motivation level,  and also help us keep track with emerging technologies like Bitcoin and keeping trend on without losing focus.

This may as well be a wake up call for us not to keep our money on centralized exchange but in our wallet with private key seven which we can restore anytime on any wallet apps.

Point is that,  alot have been going on,  and so many fuds and fomos have overwhelmed the cryptocurrency space in Nigeria most times this crisis has burned out our motivations to keep pushing for our goal which is to become one of the world's top cryptocurrency adopters and users,  even though records already have that,  but the action of the various government through the CBN have constantly killed our motivations and drag back developments in that regards.

But here to let you know that giving up is not an option because you will only have yourself to blame if you allow this CBN naira crisis to border you or burn out your motivations.

The cryptocurrency space has nothing to do with the government and only exchanges do,  so I advise you to continue to keep building and never allow all the fake news and blog posts to eat up your time and energy,  just focus on your Bitcoin accumulation and pay less attention to the news.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Man bet his life savings on 1 spin of Roulette on: March 13, 2024, 04:38:04 PM
Sometimes what we think is life-saving may not be so,  because in this case, we failed to understand that the man may still have some support line that may have not been mentioned in this news and that we may not be making the right statement by saying so and this is because at some point we need to build that understanding of the fact that gamblers can be very secretive not to have mentioned everything and for that could be making some attempts that may not go down too well with the rest of the community in terms of making such discussions and contributions.

But since the man was lucky to have won the bet he may now happily walk away with the understanding of the fact that he was lucky and not to try that such of thing again in the future since he can easily lose his bet and walk away with nothing.

But now that he was so lucky,  he may not learn from that risk,  and may even decide to risk more thinking that he will continue to win and since we all know how risky it is to win through spin it may be an invisible dream and he will lose all at the end.

311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: March 11, 2024, 05:28:57 PM
I consider losing your casino cash as a harsh reminder. A loss, period. I find it convenient but hollow to consider this loss as casino support. It may comfort us to say that by losing, we're helping the project. Losing is sad. Rationalization cant erase the fact that your money is gone.

I think betting a few times to promote the project is risky. Losses can lead to justifying additional gambling. Casinos profit from your hopes and dreams. Seeing a loss as support might help, but its important to be realistic. Lost is an outcome, not a plan. Feeling sad is fine. That's my view. Be honest and know when to back off.
It was just a way of thinking,  although losing to the casino nay not be a direct supply for the casino,  but and indirection,  for such what I was looking at was the ability to to actually have a feel of what you are promoting,  for example playing out of the weekly earnings may give you the chances to actually test out those casinos yourself and since gambling will always be in favor of the house,  you tend to lose more and win less,  so that is where the losing as support comes from hope you get the point more clearer now?

I know fundamentally as a promoter,  you are not under any obligation to lose or play in the casinos,  but then also you are a promoter have the responsibility to test the products you you selling out to people.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH hit. Anyone, ever bought BTC, is now at profit. Welcome to fraternity... on: March 11, 2024, 05:20:26 PM
I'm happy that we have reached this point. It is something worth discussing about. It's definitely not gonna have the same impact as the news from before because I noticed that not a lot of people are getting asked what cryptocurrency is and stuff. It's more of "Oh it reached already ATH?" then proceeds not doing anything, at least this is what happened in my case.
Everyone is extremely happy for Bitcoin performance right now and for that alot of analyses have gone into play since Bitcoin has seen another great all-time high period like this, I guess those that will be at profit are those who are selling right now above the price they both it, but those that continue to hold,  will have a long way to go and will only be at virtual gains since the price of bitcoin can slide down again and they go back to previous position.

But with the current Bitcoin market pressure,  I think we are going to be seeing more and more bBitcoinprices that mark a steady all-time high as we go up until the next half happens since the resistance level has been broken by Bitcoin at this point.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin all time high, is it ETF effects or pre halving cycle on: March 11, 2024, 05:11:13 PM

But if we are honest, going above the previous ATH is not really that impresive, as almost all the forum members expected for this to happen, the surprising thing during this cycle is the speed at which this is happening, since the halving has not taken place yet and a new ATH has been reached already.

It wasn’t surprising because the hype that would drive the whole trend was spotted right from the long term. If you look at the whole of last year it was overall a bullish year which wasn’t the case for other previous year to the bitcoin halving year. The most obvious reason was when the hype was at its peak in the end of 2023 which base on past trends was supposed to be a bearish period but ETF saga pumped the market and it continue until it’s approval this year. Some investors like myself were expecting a heavy correction then especially with the $50k price broken but it was just a day correction. After That I was definitely expecting ATH before halving
Well alot os happening with bitcoin price already after Bitcoin have broken the last bitcoin all time high price,  which is a significant milestone achievement for this season and as a pro bitcoin halven gift for it holders,  Bitcoin have consistently continue to push toward and uptrend market arena until the halving when we may see a real bull run that will take the market and investors by surprise.

This time around,  bitcoin may double it all time high price and at some point even going close to somewhere around $200k before the end of the year 2024.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 11, 2024, 05:06:36 PM
only those who used what they can't afford to lose to gamble are the one who makes noise over every little lost just as me.
For example, when a gambler loses an amount he can afford to lose there is no need complaining about it openly because it is something they are used to and have prepared for mentally before it happened.

You are correct before anyone goes into gambling they should be prepared about gambling like the lost and how much they could be able to lose to reduce much worrying whenever the games didn't go as they planned, let say for instance drake has already been used to losing money and as well winning money more often than someone who can't lose huge money and whenever it happens they go out complaining about what they have lost without knowing that while gambling they will only gamble with what they can afford to lose.
I don't know why we are discussing about this things,  because we already know who Drake is and his amount of wealth and how influencing he person have been,  so for such a person,  losing such an amount is not a big deal for him and at that he should be fine,  since many times,  he have won higher amount than what he lost without the news carrying it,  so good luck to him in his next bets because surely there will be more.

But then also I believe that Drake have followed the odds if not how can he bet anything against the great Anthony Joshua who is a title holder in the industry.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: March 11, 2024, 04:53:12 PM
Time is transforming and a lot of things are changing and this will change a lot of things in the way and manner in which we gamble,  take for example during the covid19 lot of people discovered things that they never previously discovered and this helped in many significant ways,  so same is the development and advancement in various ways and areas,  many will follow suit and a lot will come along the ways.

As we can see a lot of development and progress have been made in various ways and for that many of us will be glad to see a more expanded gambling scene in the future with new and improved technology that gives gamblers more freedom and expectations to push for the future.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About running an online casino vs an offline casino on: March 11, 2024, 04:40:52 PM
I have been thinking about this a lot now and today again, I did the same, it's probably the right time to pour out my mind to my family on this forum, hope in return to get some great answers.

I know that it's not easy to run a casino, hire workers and some professionals and others, my question is. ....

1. Is running offline casinos the same as running an online casino?
Not the same,  offline casino is based on physical structures and really time human activities with physical attention,  and in offline casinos,  you need to have a building structure depending on the capacity you want to operate on,  and also hire physical staffs and operators.

But online casinos don't require that,  all that it takes is software as no need for physical structures,  so both are operated on different mood.
Quote
2. What do online casinos have to lose if they aren't making as much money as they intended?
The lose revenue, also don't think that online casinos don't requires funding to keep it running live online,  it does and most times you even pay more than the physical casinos.

And again cost of games providers and domain is there to take revenue away.
Quote
3. With online casinos, isn't the number of hiring being limited compared to someone who wants to run an offline casino?
Not at all,  it depends on the team mentality and how their chose to spread their limits.
Quote
4. Which one is more easier to manage than the other?
For me none is easier,  because both online and offline casinos requires consistency and alot of works to keep them running.
Quote
And the last question is, which one would you go for if you have the resources?
Don't know yet.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best way to exchange token to eth on: March 11, 2024, 04:27:56 PM

i just googled xyo to eth and it was one of the first links.

Kucoin o Coinbase supports xyo or chsb?
They need KYC to use it?
Yes both Coinbase and Kucoin are centralized exchanges and demand for KYC since it is part of the regulatory compliance for centralized exchanges.

I advise you to go along with what you already have and Simpleswap or any of the popular Dex will and should do what you want at the moment,  so all the best and do extra research before you use them.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 11, 2024, 04:20:06 PM
There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.

So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

When I have a lot of money and I am in a winning run I believe my predictions and I don't care about what other tipping services are saying. However this happens rarely for me to be in a winning run, most of the time I have losing consecutive sessions and sadness get the best out of me.It is exactly in this moment that I love to watch and follow many tipping site services, most of them free as I don't believe in expert predictions with money,I believe no one is smart enough to know the future so they ask for money for their predictions yet I like to see some free tipping sites and maybe as I said follow one or some bets of them, usually only in football.
For me I don't take Tips Stars seriously this is because most of the time we all still arrive at the same thing when it comes to betting is is that,  after selecting your games predictions no matter how smart and skillfully you select them,  at a last point,  you will still depends on luck to measure your outcome,  and that is why most times,  luck becomes the fundamental thing,  and in just a few occasions will a gambler be able to win based on their own skills.

Although there are games you can use skills to win,  such games as in house games but even at that, in-house games have that house edges that limit your winning chances,  so for sure there is nothing like a sure bet,  any bet can either win or lose just as any team can win and lose at the same time.

So when I want to bet I don't take any other third-party game predictions and selections,  all I focus on is how to measure my own risk and take chances.
319  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 11, 2024, 03:51:57 PM
Once it comes to learning, the development of technology has advanced for the use of internet for learning, whereby we can easily got the required information needed by us through the use of the internet, all these will facilitate the way we learn and how we develop our own gambling strategies, we can also learn from those around us in building the best experience we want to have with gambling while having fun.
Of the truth,  internet have helped to improve the way human learns and adopt to things more than the circular schools itself,  and for the short period of time that internet has been around, its impact is almost up to 80% in the overall learning speed of the 21st century.

There is no need to mention the various ways and tools that come along with the internet,  and how those tools have helped in various sectors of human civilization and ways of doing things,  we have such as the AI which is a hype of the moment that makes the way we work changes and imimprovesur sufficiency,  this and many more other developments have done same,  another vital factor is online gambling and betting, the internet has brought the casinos closer to us more than before and what we use to have in the past,  now we can bet in private and also receive our rewards without anyone knowing,  this is what we call stressless gambling no need to visit the betting shop or casinos,  you can do that from the comfort of your home all with the help of the internet.
320  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 11, 2024, 03:27:20 PM
If we are to even consider the replies on this thread on recommendations for the platforms that accept the use of VPN, I don't think there are suggestions made and if any at all, they are not many, gambling platforms don't usually demand or take in the use of VPN for their website, but Incase we see some that allow for that, maybe they are just new in the business or doesn't have enough resources to employ for the measures that take care on that.
Aside from the regulatory reasons that make casinos to turn down VPN usage, other factors also discourage the use of VPN such as its effect on the loading speed of the site and how VPN also affect some game functionality on the casino, these things contribute to why those casinos never allow VPN in general or why gamblers do not see VPN usage as something attractive.

If not,  most of the casinos are VPN-friendly and do not mind gamblers who have verified accounts using VPN to bypass any restrictions if need be at some point.
