I will say this now and will say it again like before:
Devs should have kept the name RaiBlocks. It was good, unique and catchy. Nano is just basic. Big mistake rebranding and not being consistent with rebranding everything related to RaiBlocks.
I can only say that RaiBlocks was unique name and I like it, Nano is as you say fairly simple, generic name and does not reflect anything unique - we have hardware wallet Ledger Nano and we have some Japanese American singer with the same name. But I do not think that the reason for such low price is in the rebranding, main reason is BitGrail hack and fact that thousands have lost coins there and not only coins but trust in the project. Also we've seen the evidence that someone was selling large quantities of Nano in last few months, more supply then demand and current BTC price = we get what we have now. It is a service by Coinbase which offer safe storing of coins, and it is intended for institutional clients. Nano is just one of the coins which are under consideration. It has nothing to do with their exchange service or simply said Nano is not in the plan to be listed on Coinbase exchange for now. You have very good points there, some of us got a lot of free Raiblocks during the faucet phase. Some even hired workers to do the clicking so it makes sense some of the coins will be dumped in phases during highs. |

You missed it, Dev was very helpful when beginning Phore. He was trading coins for almost free and even helped out those who got scammed out of Phore. Maybe there is a Phore faucet somewhere you can use, google it maybe. |

Has anyone experimented with NEM and Mosaics to create a payroll and pay out employees? Said payroll also would take into account that each employee owns a percentage of whatever place they are working for and tabulates each period with profit sharing amongst hodlrs.
Or just a payroll using NEM to pay out employees automatically?
Anyone seen anything like this implemented in the wild?

What a bear market we are losing value consistently than it is really hard to know where it is bottom for this coin. Although the team is active but it didn't giving any relief to this coin to get recover or find the way to get stable.
I'm sure the team is thinking about what's best for this coin. Under these conditions, without knowing how far the Nano goes down, what I do is take the opportunity to buy Nano gradually every the price drops It'll be a while before recovery, rebranding should have been done after a good base was established. The devs decided to follow the rest of rebranding trends at the time. i don't think the name has to do anything about low price . you should think twice . i prefer ( NANO ) . The price dip during rebranding speaks for itself. |

Hello everyone. NEM has a huge potential and big community. We have catapult. But price of NEM is lower and lower. Why so? Why people don't want use NEM?
When regular people who pay with cash could use any cryptocurrency as that use credit cards and paper money then price will rise to heaven. Currently there are same amount of people(cryptocommunity) who trade and use cryptocoins and there are overwhelmed with every day grow of new coins. To many scams also affect in trust of crypto coins. Exchanges that goes hacked or closed with peoples invested money and high fees for trade. Basicly we need wide adoption to masses who sold cheese, chicken eggs and grocery on market. They dont know what is XEM or any other crypto. That's actually true. The overall crypto adoption has to rise (and is rising) to really see the actual value of the whole sphere. But there is no need for 10000 different coins or projects offering the same. Therefore its good to target specific markets that enable some good room to grow. NEM is doing great with all the very nice projects build on it and at the same time targeting different enterprise solutions for example After some thought about this subject, personally I'm ok with the current crypto sphere. Right now is the time to raise fiat which value can later then be transferred to good project in cryptocoins. Once the honeymoon is over, the opportunity will be lost. Which will it be, grassroot movements or the corporate world controlling the cryptoscene? |

Research EOS more closely, it's a good chance it's a long running scam. Too many scandals. Maybe Ardor or Ignis, Heat also you might consider but it hasn't been open sourced yet and focuses more on corporate solutions. |

He really shouldn't ignore the place that helped NANO tremendously (bitcointalk), sure there's a lot of trolling but he has proven to be a success so he should have tough skin by now to laugh it off. |

Phore seems to be a very good project, but Phore 10000 needed for a masternode, I find the number very high compared to the supply available.
A fair choice would be 1000 Phore for 1 masternode.
I find this choice very unbalanced to make a decentralized project and solid.

That's true, by time the price might soar, it would be really hard to get a masternode up and running, if masternode owners becomes rich, they will start selling, then, no new masternode owners will be there and that could be somehow and issue  Phore just showed that its solid, it didnt dump, it is my best coin! The "problem" from an trading perspective is dissolving a masternode without influencing the price too much. Looking at Dash, I do think if someone bought a Dash node 2 years ago, I do not think they would be inclined to sell now. I know I wouldn't. If Phore achieves even just remotely that success, I think people will hold onto their nodes. That's not happening for sure, at least you can never assure that! Peoples might sell, peoples might need cash, imagine just 20 node owners dumping their coins, Umm, that won't be good. Masternode owners have higher incentives not to dump, there's a reason why they don't mind paying and maintaining for servers so others can have a more robust blockchain. If you are knowledgeable enough to run a masternode, then you most likely are into crypto for more than the monetary gains. But the monetary gains that come from time to time are a nice bonus  |

I'm not worried about the price, but the biggest question is why Colin hasn't switched the ANN page from XRB to Nano  This thread isn't managed by any NANO official representative, and the one who created this thread hasn't been online for quite a while. I'm thinking of creating a new ANNouncement page for NANO myself, and ask the moderators to lock this one. Your idea in my opinion is very good, because by changing the name of the thread to Nano will make a lot of new people know about Nano coins. I hope the dev team will support your idea It doesn't matter whether team made the ann or not. whoever made it, should have at least that much responsibility to follow his own thread. Rebranding was few months ago and we still see raiblocks. I've contacted mprep (moderator of Altcoins Announcements) regarding this and have asked him to close this thread so that I may create a new one. I'll try to keep it alive & updated, unlike this one.
