21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 10, 2019, 01:11:11 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

If they are ripping you off stop working for them.  The choice is on you so, just walk away and stop wasting your valuable time on garbage projects then.  They continue to do this because idiots throw away all their free time giving them free promotion.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much tech in schools with no benefit, researchers agree. on: September 10, 2019, 01:06:04 PM
Before it was television and radio that people were hooked on.  I know this isn't as extreme as 24/7 access to a phone or tablet everywhere you go.  I do believe our creativity is being lost, our brains are so stimulated now that we are barely even using our minds anymore.  All I'm saying is that we are all addicted to technology, how many here can actually go a week without any electronic device, internet, or television?
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 10, 2019, 12:56:04 PM
People unanimously vote for soccer for obvious, there are billions of people in this sports and it's the world's most popular sports, and there are a lot of betting sites for soccer, the next one is boxing it's not really that very popular but there are so many gamblers are very much into betting boxing.

Soccer is even gaining popularity in America as baseball is starting to die.  Football / soccer truly is the global sport.

Its amazing how many fans Cricket has, this has to be related to the British empire even though its been gone for most of the last hundred years its left behind a heck of a legacy in cultural artifacts left behind like this.    Its a good thing, it brings together various countries that might not be on the best of terms otherwise and I'd rather see competition on the playing field then political rhetoric and strife.

Quote
my favorite team is Chelsea.

So many supporters these clubs have which is fair I guess when considering their teams take on alot of global talent also.

I've only watched a few cricket matches in my life and I am not a huge fan of it,  I guess I wasn't exposed to it much as a child so that may be the reasoning.
24  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: September 10, 2019, 12:38:39 PM
It is difficult to get people to switch over from what they are used to.  Even though coinmarketcap has been posting fake volume for a long time and running scam ads on their page.  I hope some of these alternatives become more used in the future.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: September 10, 2019, 12:28:16 PM
A lot of people are in debt, so consider yourself lucky if you have any savings I guess.  and some people wonder why consumer spending is way down and many companies are going out of business.  We are more productive then ever but the wealth inequality keeps getting stronger.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 10, 2019, 12:19:32 PM
This doesn't really make sense to me because isn't everything in life considered a gamble if you break it down.

If you hold US dollars you are gambling that they won't experience mass inflation and devaluation?

If you hold stocks your gambling that there won't be a huge market crash.

If you hold gold your gambling the price won't crash again.
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cheapest electricity in the world on: September 10, 2019, 12:14:34 PM
The absolute best rate is free, there are a lot of miners that have free electricity through various agreements.  Some have it included in their monthly rent, electric companies using their land so they get free electricity, or subsidized by the government.
28  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you buy a house? on: September 09, 2019, 03:59:16 PM
If you have 5 Bitcoins you can buy a flat in my city.I am not sure what is a country's standard of you and how much the fund you are looking to buy a new house for you.
People who ever loves to utilise Bitcoin as a payment mode I am sure definitely they will utilize it.

Property is also very expensive in my part of the world. However in my country no one will be willing to spend or accept bitcoins to buy a house or a flat.  The main reason for this is that the Bitcoins are not widely used as a payment method in our part of the world and we normally use bitcoin online to buy sell goods.

What part of the world are you in? I have friends in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area and $1million will barely get you a small run down house.  It is hopeless for the younger generation that has no inheritance ever being able to buy their own house.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Agony Of Bounty Hunters on: September 09, 2019, 03:55:08 PM
I do not do this every day, but last night I checked all my bounty hunting files from social media, signature and article marketing, I am very disappointed, only 5% of my bounty campaigns proved to be successful, what I mean successful is it's worth the profit after many months of the campaign.

One disappointing side of it is the projects that I thought are legit are the one that turns out to be scams and the project that I thought will not turn out to be good turns to be profitable.

Things are not good in bounty campaign at this point of time, what proves to be a source of excitement to bounty hunters is now the agony of bounty hunters

I've seen too many projects I thought were garbage do 10x or higher in a short amount of time.  Crypto really can be a crapshoot sometimes and all you can do is hope for the best since a lot of these altcoins is just like playing the slots.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: September 09, 2019, 03:50:16 PM
It is good that new professions have appeared. People who learn first will benefit greatly. Because the technology is developing very quickly and there are not enough specialists.
There is more and more professional job opportunities as the technology gets more more wider usage. Even now if we try through the jobs search engines we'll get more job wanted for blockchain specialists good in programming. Keeping ourselves updated with the needs is always a good choice. Most of the professionals we have right now were the self learned people, around the world now different universities were providing different courses for the same.

Today, blockchain specialists are paid great, and they are in demand. In the USA, blockchain developers make about 130K a year, and the average salary for this profession is 106,000 USD. In New York or Boston, the average salary per year reaches $ 158000. In Switzerland, where,  blockchain companies are growing greatly, these numbers are even higher and reach 150-180 thousand dollars.

That amount is very low for a blockchain specialists, might as well start your own project or work on something that pays you in equity if you really are a specialists.  No point in making other people wealthy when you can enrich yourself.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 78% ROI throughout 2019 -- This is how... on: September 09, 2019, 03:45:21 PM
If you simply hold the bitcoin without doing any trading then you could actually turns upto into an 200% ROI investment.

Am I right guys?
You are right, but there is a but. My sub $4000 entry points at today's prices have a virtual ROI of 155%, BUT the thing here is that virtual ROI is meaningless if you don't actually sell or spend any of these coins.

OP has bought and sold repeatedly to capture the profits. It's definitely more risky than simply hodling your coins through a bull run, but the Bitcoin bull that I am will also hold during the crash afterwards down to its new bottom.

People however shouldn't focus too much on that 78% ROI that is pointed out by OP because it just as easily could have been way less. There is always a factor of unpredictability that can work against you.

Same thing goes for money, even if you cash out your btc into cash it is meaningless until you trade that cash for goods and services.  That is what many hoarders fail to realize, cash means nothing if you never spend it on something to enjoy.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 09, 2019, 03:36:34 PM
Yiou make your best predictions based on what happened in the past.  Remember that certain patterns are never guaranteed so you should never go all in on any position.  Price movement also tends to correlate with the halvening block reward.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to receive a donation in bitcoins? on: September 09, 2019, 03:32:55 PM
In my life, complete devastation. A debt hole formed. The family is disappointed in me. Banks do not give loans and debts must be repaid immediately. The only person who stayed with me is my wife. I love her so much. I can’t cope with these problems and only my wife holds me in this world. Is it possible to receive a donation or a crypto loan without collateral online? And how is this best done?

i believe that kind people are everywhere even in crypto you just have to be in the right platform.
i saw some crypto people posted on facebook and ask for donations and i actually gave a little of what i have to help a comrade.
i am also just an average person here,we all have our own ups and down i hope that you continue to fight your battle.

There are a lot of genuine good people that donate to people in need.  Charities and relief efforts receive billions each year but the problem comes when administrative costs suck up the majority of the money leaving little to the people in need, this is why it is better to just give money directly to the person.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: September 09, 2019, 03:20:42 PM
Biggest thing I've seen in real life is gambling while you are heavily intoxicated.  Casinos love to feed a constant flow of drinks to their players so they make unwise decisions.  Always best to stay completely sober when your dealing with money.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 09, 2019, 03:11:25 PM
Trading is one of the best ways to increase your money since you can start with a small amount and grow it rapidly with compounding.  Takes a certain type of mindset to succeed though, can't be too emotional and be ready t ocut your losses when needed.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: September 06, 2019, 12:47:31 PM

I don’t even want their fake ass bonuses, my desire or what I would have loved on new site is to make the game also be in favor of players. Stop making it more difficult for players to win games.

Grin Grin i can't agree more on the fake ass bonuses Grin
I don't online casinos games will ever go easy for players. Its more like everyday, games becomes difficult to play; players put in more than they gain.
I feel, nowadays online casinos owners are becoming greedy this days. Its understanding that the site is created for profit but making it solely for profit is very frustrating especially for new players. But as players, its either we up our game or quite playing.

I won around $50 with one of those bonuses before and they wouldn't even let me cash out.  I forget the name of the casino but I saw one of their ads on a crypto website.   Those bonuses there are usually just fake and exist only to draw people in and never let them cash out.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: September 06, 2019, 12:34:19 PM
Fair to me is:

-Provably fair house odds that are preferably stated on their home page

-Fast and easy withdrawls without any hassle

-No cancellation of bets unless the user is found cheating
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Beware}: Google accused of giving personal data to advertisers on: September 06, 2019, 12:22:54 PM
This is common sense to me, every big company is selling their user data.  Don't ever assume that what you do on the internet with any company will ever be private.  And even if you delete things like your facebook profile, you better believe that is still permanently stored on their database.
39  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Coinbase’s Move Into Proof of Stake Matters? on: September 05, 2019, 01:50:46 PM
So Coinbase will be offering staking support, so this will encourage more people to leave their coins on coinbase.  Not a fan of people leaving all their coins on CB.

Overall I like pos a lot because it uses less electricity but many hardcore bitcoiners only want pow and would never consider any pos coins.  I would rather reward holders instead of miners that dump on everyone.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Disclamer: this post may seem full of hate on: September 05, 2019, 01:43:37 PM
That amount is only 3 dollars.  Do you really want to exchange less than a dollar can fees can sometimes be up to a dollar when the network is congested?  If its really that big of an issue for you find someone here on the forum to help you exchange your coins.
