Legalization..
My hope for cryptocurrency that has not been fulfilled is legalization.
legalization is still very difficult in my country, does cryptocurrency get legalized in your country?
I do agree on your statement, in my country its not been legalized. But still hoping for that. |

In my opinion, bitcoin will continue to be dominant in the cryto market though it experiences downfall but its capable to go back to its normal value or higher than we expected.

I have seen the price of bitcoin is very high and has exceeded 15000 $ for one bitcoin, and now the price of bitcoin is under 10,000 $ and maybe this is my chance to buy bitcoin as much money as I have and hope to get enough profit for my economy in the future.
am I wrong with this step?

I think market is in down right now due to speculations over the internet. People panic and they sell their coins.

I have been interested into economy, stock trading and such. And have begun watching series movies and reading more about it.
I learned what CDOs where, and how they worked. But now the institutions/banks are selling/buying bespoke tranche opportunities, basically same as CDOs just another name.
The dollar is up by a lot, and the stock market has tested the 200 MA 3 times already. Interest rates are near 0% and loan rates are going up faster and faster each year.
Every country I have friends in, are telling me that the inflation is rising, interest rates are going going down and you're basically losing money each year.
What I think is interesting, is that the loan rates were pretty low (close to 0) for 1-2 years and it started to rise.
I think with the rise of Crypto, it's the safe heaven for us, the normal people. I think communities, countries, specific groups of people will make their own currency (and also money) out of thin air, and this is how our societies will function soon. But that doesn't necessarily mean that cash will go away, I think people are attached to cash a lot and it's a different feeling when you have cash.
What do you guys think? All thots are appreciated!
I think its moving up everyday.When people could sustain their everyday living of having a job. As what crytocurrency offers to people that gives extra income it really helps to the economic growth of a country. |

While I don't have many posts. I got involved in Bitcoin in 2013 and joined this forum in 2014. While I do not consider myself wealthy from Bitcoin yet. I do have an idea of how I would like to direct some of this new found wealth. I think most of the people who got involved early got involved for the right reasons. IE: To change the world and move humanity out of the control of the bankers. I am concerned that the new people coming may only be in to make money. I hope I am wrong, I really want this technology to be a force of good in the world and deliver economic freedom to the masses and the unbanked. My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others. Maybe help your family, or a charity that you think isn't wasting money, or building a community swimming pool etc. If you have a lot of money think big and how you can change the world for the better. This is our chance!
I think for me if i would become wealthy in terms of having a lot of money. I would spend it more wisely and be responsible in a sense that i will share it to my family and to the church. I believe in the saying that "its better to give than to receive". We can have money by working or investing so share what we have. |

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Once you join and ICO with a KYC it will be reported to the government,i think they pass all the participant after the ICO,i dont know about the law but some countries are banning its citizen from joining ICO.
Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?
Weather you move your funds or not once you join the ICO the government has the info on your transaction, this is their way of tracking their citizen who can potentially be evading taxes. Know your customer is a process of identifying a business and verification of clients if this involves illegal transactions like money laundering wherein they may able to control the flow out of illegal activities. Knowing your customer for me is important because we will be able to know the one that you are dealing with is legitimate in their dealings when doing bitcoin transactions. Yes it is a standard form in the field of investment that ensures to protects clients and investments advisors. It is really a must to follow to avoid illegal transactions. |

I think these two are both aspiring coins in the market. It is just bitcoin has a bigger market though the value is not in good state but it doesn't mean is worthless.

bitcoin is independent when it comes to performing its task. The price however is dependent on fiat since bitcoin can also be thought of as a barter good. The only time it would be independent is when people say: "one bitcoin is one bitcoin" not "one bitcoin is $6000."
As what i understand..Yes i agree on your statement that BC is independent in a sense that it is decentralized by any authority it has its own transaction. If we say dependent maybe when it comes money conversion because we have different money currency. |

In my opinion, being a good citizen it is a must that we need to pay taxes for it is for the development of the country. Everyone must be a law abiding citizens on its own country.

I think it would be nice that crypto use for shopping it is so very convenient for us in case of emergencies. But not all countries adapt bitcoin.

I think it won't beat BTC it is because it has a huge market though eth is one of the promising altcoin for a long term investment but it is just an alternative coin for BTC.
