Next week TomPetty get used to the no hype no marketing this coin offers. It will be released one day without any prior notification or exposure and media coverage. A coin that should be in the 10 million marketcap is barely above 600 000. Buerra has done a fair bit of marketing for Gulden. |

Absolutely, like Jero said 3000h is almost two years of development, the roadmap we presented is only for this year. By the way, we had a an awesome first day of funding, we are now at 6.24% funded! Good work lately Gulden team. Any plans to get on poloniex? This is where the money is.
As we do not engage in bribery there is really nothing to plan, either they want to add us in which case they will add us, or they don't want to add us, in which case they will not. Presumably at some point in time they will change their minds and decide they want to add us but this is not something the dev team can control, instead we will continue focusing on things that matter like actual development. Poloniex users or prospective users who want us added should make their voices heard and let Poloniex know, as a business at the end of the day Poloniex only cares what their userbase asks for not what outsiders ask for. MaNI is Spot on... Gulden is made up of new users to crypto, as we have seen in the past the community has no miners and most people buy and hold. Very few day traders and this is why other exchanges haven't been jumping to add Gulden. |

5 btc on marketing and not towards innovative development ? Don't you get it, most of these coins have to market bullshit because they have nothing else. Dash doesn't do active marketing because they have a developer that brings out innovative features and that markets itself. Read between the lines of MaNI's latest posts, he is heading towards innovative development with Prime. |

Premine will be used up early 2019 if they continue to spend 7 million coins every 2 months. Waiting for March and April numbers to be added to confirm the trend.
? The premine has always been accounted for on every single spend, per https://developer.gulden.com/premine/. Would you be so kind to enlighten, regarding 7 million coins every 2 month? I am not questioning the premine usage, I am trying to determine the velocity in which the premine is being spent compared to previous years. 7 million was spent in Jan and Feb this year and my theory about the premine is that it will be spent faster this year then in 2014 and 2015. It also helps explain the price pressure on bittrex, more supply with the same amount of users will naturally equate to a lower price. You can clearly see the premine was majority spent on Prime funding for the first two months. The Gulden went to the community that invested in the project. Everyone was able to contribute. March and April will be under 2 million each because there was no crowd funding and lets say 2019 it does dry up, if Gulden hasn't secured any major investment then it has failed and the project will fall apart because the monthly payments will need to come from the team and community. With the above being said this team has always delivered and I am confident they have plans to make Gulden a widespread success. It already is the 2nd most usable coin in crypto. |

A reminder to everyone to be cautious when using exchanges, this goes for all exchanges even the larger ones, you never know when something might go wrong as has happened so many times in the past. It is best to keep most of your coins in your person wallet and leave only coins you are actively trying to trade on the exchange, Gulden has fast confirmations so you can always move the coins back again if you need too without a long wait. We urge extra caution using the smaller exchanges that we are on, Yobit, Safecex etc. as we do not know much about them and there have been one or two rumours about them. Though as mentioned above even our recommended exchange - Bittrex should only be trusted when necessary. Just a reminder for any newcomers that we have a very active Slack as well where you can chat with the community and developers.

Dash is at $46 mil and it's the anti marketing, anti mainstream coin. Innovation brings more money then marketing.
I'd correct that to "Functionality brings more money than marketing." Innovation for the sake of innovation is just another type of hype, people want products that actually perform a useful role in their lives in a way that feels great. Investors - real long term ones - want users. Users are the real commodity, if investors wanted a cheap bitcoin fork like most altcoins provide they would just make their own. I am not so sure about, functionalty coming before marketing. I have seen some succesfull companies that started marketing while their software really sucked. In my opinion it's not so clear which one comes first. It's more like string dancing to find the optimal line. Lets'be honest, NLG used to be the number 1 nation coin for a long time. Regarding functionality it still is, I guess. Now have a look at coinmarketcap. We see; NLG : 600 K SCOT : 7 M AUR : 2,5 M But, don't worry. I sell all my SCOT'S and AURORA's for NLG, when the real marketing arrives here. No coin has both besides bitcoin. Digibyte has good devs but it is marketing that is the main reason we above 2,7m . NLG has the most functionality for now if you not a gamer but if the marketing continues to suck balls it will become the currency "that could of been" Marketing is a double edged sword. It creates awareness and in the case of crypto short term bubbles to profit off. |

Every page has a person with issues. This is not good when people get introduced to digibyte. The code is archaic , a coin like Doge already on code base 0.11, false advertising and bad apps. This coin is no where near being ready for mainstream.

Dash is only on 0.1 which is about 2 ahead of digibyte and found another coin GRS that is also on 0.11 GRS is proof that marketing is > development as I have stated the same about myriadcoin when compared to digibyte. About 90% of the marketcap is thanks to Jared and Jared alone. The power of marketing must not be underestimated. EDIT: I left out litecoin that is also on 0.11 . You can't compare a over $6 billion (BTC) , over $140 million (LTC) and Dash over $40 million marketcap coins with digibyte that is only $2.7 million. Gulden has no marketing and those developers will be snapped up by currencies in the top 10, it would be great if they joined digibyte. Had a quick look at GRS but the developers are anonymous? Anonymous developers won't get anywhere. Both wallets allow you to purchase at any Gulden or Bitcoin merchant. Fortunately not, it is one of the most stable currencies because there is no hype, no promotion and no marketing. Most of the users comes from people informing others about the currency, it's a slow growth but there is growth. I have a few friends and my uncle with some Gulden and they are also waiting for the Android update. There is a lot of users that don't post on forums or trade, they once off buyers and if the product is good they will buy again. |

Managed to get the wallet to sync. Is Jared going to say something about the NYC conference? I have already lost 20% value on my coins.  Crypto fluctuates wildly. That is how you make money waiting for it to eventually explode. Cannot complain about losing 20%. Overall I have made 500% on my DGB investment so far. Exactly. You can't expect the price to only go up. Life doesn't work like that (unfortunately). It will go up again, just be patient I understand this , it will stay above 100 I am sure and then we can wait for the next announcement. Any reason why price didn't go to 1000 on the 250 million contract ? Read the announcement, it's not a 250M contract. And the price is someone forced the market to stay at this price, well, we suppose so. Marketcap was stable at +- 2 mil before speculators came in. Chances of a sub 100 price is likely but I expect a higher low then before. |

Because he believes they're too volatile. Instead, he created Athereum originally so that stable coins could be made. So I believe Gulden is that coin....GULDEN will be "The One" that will become one of the mainstream currency in the future  Gulden is also very stable and less volatile...Plus when PRIME is live, Gulden will be instant So please be patience people....Because future is very bright for GULDEN Gulden is still going? I thought it would of died with no marketing. Have you got a person like Jared who markets digibyte. Gulden is growing naturally without forced hype.
