201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2024, 08:16:42 PM
United has one thing good going for them, which is a young few players that can do great for them. I am not saying that they will do amazingly or anything like that, but they do have a core that can be used well. I hope that we can see them do well again, just recently they finished third, so it is not like they are that far away from it.

I am sure that we are going to end up with anything different, we should consider the situation to be a bit different. I know that life isn't all that simple so we can consider this to be very risky move. I am guessing that we are going to see some good transfers this summer from them, it is not going to be simple and we are going to see them do a little differently with time.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 31, 2024, 07:48:52 PM
Barcelona does get wins barely but they still do get them and that's what matters. Oscar Hernandez is a great catch to any other team that is looking for a manager by the way, sure maybe not a huge name team, but a smaller club should give him a chance and could probably do well there. Think about it, if you are a team in a smaller nation, you could get Oscar and let him build you to be like Barcelona as well, not easy task but not terrible neither.

I think it is going fine for Barcelona at the moment, yeah the games do not look dominant and all, but they do look like they get the three points which is all that matters. I hope that we could see Barcelona do well enough that they keep Xavi in the end, that's what matters.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 31, 2024, 06:31:53 PM
Juventus didn't win a single game in the last 4 tries, so it is not like it is something new for any one of them. I am not saying that we are going to end up with anything great, we are just getting what Juventus is becoming today. Lazio winning wasn't a shock neither, it is something we expected from them anyway. In the end, just let it be and we are going to be able to move to this situation a lot easier.

Obviously not everyone will be able to do something like this, things could change, so we just need to make sure that things are easy. All in all, just forget about betting on Juventus this season, because they are not going to end up with a good return that easily, it is going to change a lot of stuff in the end.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2024, 05:59:23 AM
I understand that Xabi is helping the team becoming very good, but he must have been offered a huge amount of salary as well and to be fair Leverkusen can't afford that. I am sure that some other team could double his salary, and rejecting that would be silly, he will eventually leave.

What Leverkusen do for the next season is to implement some manager before Xabi leaves, not meaning fire Xabi, that would be stupid, I mean like figure out who you will get beforehand. That way, they can tell that manager, to check the games, and check the players, and how they play, and make him not only watch the whole games, but also even take videos of the training and make that manager watch the training too. This would allow the new manager to come in ready.
205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can you trust more to handle your business, man or woman? on: March 29, 2024, 05:29:03 PM
Doesn't this also depends on the job a bit? I am not saying there is a difference between the genders, of course both can do all the work, but usually people do flock to certain jobs based on their gender as well, not because of just the person who hires them, but because the application. Some jobs are a bit more heavily related to one gender, and the other is heavily applied by the others.

So if you have a business, and there are 100 people who apply to it, and 87 of them is one gender, the likeliness of which gender you will pick could be a bit swayed based on the number of that gender applying. So I believe that while we are going to see both of them do the same thing, there are some jobs that genders do pick and choose.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 29, 2024, 05:15:02 PM
Lakers definitely guaranteed a place at play-in there is nothing wrong with that. However, they have been on a roll lately and there is a possibility that they can be 8th seed as well, if that happens then they will face easier chance to get there. I am pretty sure that they will want that, it would mean a first round possibility easier.

8th seed plays against 1st seed come playoff time, so that is going to be of course tough there is nothing easy about that but they have Lebron, so if they go to playoffs then they will always be a tough team. I am not sure what they will do in the end, but they do look like they figured something out in the end there, and doing much better thanks to that, whatever it is, they should keep doing it.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Solana is 20x up but Ethereum is dying, yet for years ppl shill Eth why? on: March 29, 2024, 04:51:05 PM
Having something like SOL is rare, not that it didn't go up, but the fact that you could have invested early on in a coin that went up that much is rare. Go try your luck if you want to see how hard it is, if you can find something new, like within 3 months of its release, that can go 20x higher, then don't wait out and just do that.

I think the problem is that we are going to end up with some trouble that would not be all that easy, so we should let it happen and not worry about anything else. That is the whole point of this, it has to be something that will take some time which I think should not be all that easy, we need to focus on bigger name stuff like ETH because at least we know that ETH will go up and not have any trouble.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 29, 2024, 04:21:34 PM
It is official, Xabi has decided to stay one more season. That must have eased the minds of all Leverkusen fans, and all the management and even most players as well. It also must have upset a lot of teams who hoped to get him, United possibly, Liverpool definitely interested, same with Bayern as well.

Looking at his achievement this season, this decision is a very very difficult one because while he did managed to do a great job, we are going to see him be forced to try it again, meaning that next season they will be at UCL, and also at Bundesliga and hope to do well in both. If he finishes second place behind Bayern next year, that wouldn't be really all that bad, that's understandable. But imagine being fourth at UCL groups, and finish 7th or something at Bundesliga, suddenly he will not be considered great.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: March 29, 2024, 03:55:29 PM
Depends on who you ask. Every person has a different situation in life, we are not all equals. If the question is "Is Solana better than all other coins to invest now?" then I would say no, because there are better coins, and especially Bitcoin is one that I love the most. However, if the question is "Would I be making a mistake if I invest into Solana?" then I would say (not that anyone knows for sure) you would be fine.

Once again, nothing is guaranteed in the crypto world and you might still make a loss, but you should be careful anyway, and SOL should make you some profit, that is at least what we assume it could do. That is why I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just letting your own judgement make the call.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin vs election? on: March 29, 2024, 02:54:53 PM
Elections (specially US ones) should not matter to general public this much, I understand that in the USA people are into politics way too much, and the main reason I believe is that you guys turned that into some sort of sport, like how we watch football and enjoy as a fan, you guys are making it like a sport and hooligan your way around your candidate and have fun that way, even have fans fighting fans at times, and fans rioting at times as well lol.

What most of you do not realize is that there are two candidates this time around, same guys, we have seen Trump be the president before, for four years, and we have seen Biden rule the nation now too, and to be fair there is absolutely no difference between them at all. Either could win, and your regular life won't change, but you act as if it's the end of the world lol.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: My instincts on the value of bitcoin from now to halving on: March 29, 2024, 05:34:32 AM
Price going up is not really that surprising so I think it will just keep going higher and higher. I get the idea that some people expect it to be not like that, but we are seeing it do well enough that we should not worry about it.

I hope that we could see changes here and there, and we could maybe make it work somehow, but if there is a drop then I am just going to buy more, that's about it. I get that you may fear it, and there is nothing wrong with that at all, you should fear it if your money depends on it, but you should not trade based on your fear neither. Just be aware that the drop is possibility and just focus on making as much money as you possibly could, that would make everything much better for you.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving, how low the price can be? on: March 29, 2024, 05:01:23 AM
I do not think that it will be that low. I can see that price dropped before the halving last time, but that happened already, we have seen 65k and lower, which means that we are going to end up with nothing big. I feel like the most important part of this period would just be relaxing and letting the market recover. Look at it, it's already back to 70k which means that the drop before the halving we expected already happened and we are not seeing anything else.

We should probably consider the possibility of making a better situation happen, and we could probably see the situation change eventually. So the next up is bull run, with halving out of the way, it should be doing better and not really do that worse.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 28, 2024, 07:48:04 PM
I still can't believe that Xavi will leave after this season. I mean it just makes no sense at all, I get that Girona had a great season, and I get that Real will become the champions but that doesn't really mean anything at the moment, not to me at least.

I feel like it is quite important to just focus on what we can do, which means that it is not going to be that simple if we can make it work. Realize that Xavi had so much success last season with his first year, if given enough time this dude could make Barcelona do so many wonderful things. I think instead of letting him go, they should sign him for at least five more season to show trust in the manager. Let all the doubts writtle away and they can do a lot better in the end.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2024, 06:53:34 PM
Leverkusen and Bayern situation definitely brought a lot more views to the league, that is actually good for Bayern as well. When Bayern was winning every title, people got a little bit bored seeing them and I feel like it should not be all that good for the league, there isn't really anything that will benefit them.

I think with this situation it looks like we are talking about something that is taking longer than it should and that's the most important one. This is why I believe that the most important part of the leagues situation right now is that even though Bayern is losing, they might be actually doing better because there is an increased attention towards it. Think of the TV rights, why would any channel pay top dollar for boring league anyway?
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 28, 2024, 06:22:42 PM
Inter beating Empoli si not even a question mark, everyone believes that they will win and that scares me the most. When there are too many games like this for a team, like how Inter is having right now, that is usually scary because it means that we are talking about a team that will go out knowing that they have a 90% chance of winning that game, but they will not focus on their 10% chance to lose the game at all.

This is why it makes sense if we could have something changing, it should be important to have Inter players realize the 10% loss chance and play accordingly and not focus on the 90% chance to win and play like that. If they underestimate Empoli then a shocking result may happen, that is why it is dangerous to have over confidence.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how long do we think memecoins narrative is going to last ? on: March 28, 2024, 05:55:24 PM
I can't even believe that it has lasted as long as this, so it's really a shocking result to me. I get that it is not going to be forever and eventually it will finish but that doesn't mean that we are going to see it go down right away. Seems like people are still interested in it, and I get that it is not going to be simple to make it go away neither. I hope that we could see it grow a lot better, which should be fine in the end.

The main problem with what we have right now is that we are focusing too much on what we are making, and not enough on what the long term help towards the humanity along with our profits. I am not saying make a loss, still make a profit, but make a profit with something that will have a good imprint on the world.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor? on: March 28, 2024, 03:54:44 PM
There isn't really a "competitor" to ETH, all coins coexist peacefully and they are not competing with each other. If we are strictly talking about the second spot, then I would say that it is not that easy, you can't make a decision that easily and say that this one is great and this one is not, you can't just know the future neither. Imagine having the knowledge of which coin will take the second spot in the future, wouldn't we invest everything we have towards that? Hell I would sell my car and buy that coin.

However, there is no reason to believe that could happen, you just make predictions and assume for the best. But good news is that, you could invest into something that's not that great neither, it's fine and not a problem.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 27, 2024, 08:33:32 PM
I would guess that Barcelona having trouble right now is overestimated. First of all, last year they were the champions, they are literally the latest champions of the league, saying that they are not doing well is unreasonable, secondly they have one year right now where they are not the champions if they lose this season (when they lose it) so it is not a big deal.

On top of that, they are a team with a lot of financial trouble, so they managed to do the right thing and figured out a lot of great young players, they have 6-7 great young players that can play amazingly and I believe that they should be doing fine. I think the best thing to do in this case would be just considering them lucky and they can be doing better next season with what they have.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does number of traders affect volatility? on: March 27, 2024, 07:04:06 PM
Amount impacts volatility more than number of traders. If there are 100 people with 100 million dollars versus 100k people with 1 million dollars, then the ones with 100 million will impact it a lot more. Volatility happens when some people buy a lot of bitcoin or sell a lot of bitcoin, which means it all depends on the amount. If there are a lot of people but not a lot of money then how could that impact the price, it usually won't and that is what matters.

I personally believe that we need to make sure that we could move the needle with the amount we are talking about. Don't get me wrong more people usually does mean more money, but it is not a must and even a few people could impact the volatility in the end.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: March 27, 2024, 05:10:35 AM
Having a focus on just altcoins makes one miss out on the general market movements. If you focus on the BEST altcoin, that means you will make yourself believe that there is just one, and there isn't a single one, there are many. I think the best thing to do in this case would be focusing on how you could probably make a lot more money if you diversified your portfolio, that way you will do a lot better.

I personally hope that the best thing we could do right now would be willingness to be open for possibilities. Go check the top 20, remove xrp, stables, and memes from the list, and invest equally to all of the alts there (and bitcoin should get majority) and you should be fine. I think that's the way I went and doing fine.
