1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: July 28, 2023, 05:08:20 PM
I would say that in 2025 it will break over the 2025 barrier and that's about it. I do not make plans to put pricing into years, that's not something I do. What I "know" is that it will be higher overtime, the longer I hold it, the more profit I will make, if I sell now, I will be selling for lesser than next year, if I sell next year, I will be making less than 5 years later, and if I sell 5 years later, I will be making lesser than 10 years later. That's how it goes and that's what I believe in.

Maybe not everyone believes in that and I could be wrong about that, but that's what I believe in and I think that's how it is going to happen for sure. I understand that it is going to take some time before people could see that reality.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin obsessed university lecturer. on: July 28, 2023, 02:48:35 PM
This is definitely something that would have gotten my attention and made me a better student. Of course when I was in college there wasn't anything like this, because bitcoin wasn't even a thing and it was getting newly created by the end times as well.

So, I have to say if this existed at the time and it was valued this high as well and it was given as a prize, I would have studied a lot harder, not saying I would have won, there were some pretty smart people I studied with so they would have won probably but at least I would have given it a shot, which could have resulted with a few lucky moves and me getting it. In the end, this still costs the professor money to try, and I doubt that college would cover for that expense.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RFK Jr Says He Purchased Bitcoin For His Kids on: July 28, 2023, 02:06:02 PM
I mean not that this is news worthy, but sure ok. This dude having 7 children is a bigger news if you ask me, who has 7 children? I mean not a lot of Americans do, that part is known and he has 7 children? Wow. That makes it 14 bitcoins, at around 30k each that makes it 420k, not a ton of money if you ask me, I know people who have more bitcoin than that right now, and if I know them as a normal human who is not rich and do not have rich people network, then I am sure that there are a lot of people who are much richer.

Billions go into this, so having less than half a million dollars invested makes no sense at all. Not that this dude would become the president neither, nobody would vote for him, so it makes no sense at all.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: July 27, 2023, 07:06:43 PM
It really doesn't make sense how Uefa is making these type of decisions. The level of difference just doesn't make sense. We have seen Galatasaray end up playing against a small team, a team that didn't even have a proper pitch, and end up getting a tie because they were not used to playing in those conditions, a 200+ million euro worth team against less than 10 million one.

And now we have seen Fenerbahce playing at home at least, against a team that nobody has ever heard of, makes no sense, at least give them to Europa cup so that they could play there a bit, second of Turkish league being in conference league makes no sense. This is why the odds were terrible, sure I won my bet, but it didn't even worth it to be fair.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 27, 2023, 06:34:06 PM
To be fair when they had Mbappe and Neymar and Messi, they didn't had proper midfield that can carry the team forward to them, so they were capable of defending, which they even had hard time with at times, but then couldn't get the ball to them. Sure three world class players but when the other team defends with 7 players, you can't expect just 3 of them to solve the riddle, you need some good midfield.

Look at City right now, sure they have Haaland, and on the wings they have Grealish and whoever plays at right, but they also had Ilkay and someone as big as De Bruyne. Real? They had valverde, kroos, modric, and so forth, Bayern? Had Kimmic and Musiala and so forth. Football is a game where you can't go too far without a decent midfield.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why this Altcoin called Worldcoin could have a huge potential? on: July 27, 2023, 04:39:22 AM
Let me tell you why it won't. Right now it has about 2 million dollars marketcap that is still questionable and not even certain, this is self-reported, and even in their self reported ones it's this low. Secondly it has 500 something discord members with just 30 online as of writing this. Imagine a coin that has 500 members and 2 million self reported cap, and imagine you can convince people to invest into that.

This is exactly why it's not going to end up being any success, it's going to suck and it's not going to have any good return at all. I believe that we are going to end up with a trouble one way or another if we keep trusting all these low cap small stuff, do not trust them this easily, they are just not doing a good job.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 26, 2023, 08:22:50 PM
We all knew he would be great, and I am a big Messi fan, I am also a big Ronaldo fan. I do not really get involved with the talks like that. But we have seen Ronaldo play in UCL with Juventus give or take the same age Messi is playing at Miami, so it's normal for someone like Messi to end up destroying teams there.

We are going to see him score 20 goals in a season, it's half a season already so maybe not but on a full season he will do 20+ goals I am sure and we should definitely consider that normal. He is one of the greatest ever to play this game, playing in a league that is much beneath him, he could have been in Barcelona, think about that for a second, he is still that good. All in all I expect him to continue wreck havoc.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 26, 2023, 08:10:05 PM
It is becoming a common thing that teams end up playing against big name teams, we see Barcelona vs Arsenal and now we are seeing Bayern against City as well, so premier league clubs are making big name friendlies. That is good because we get to see them playing as high as possible against as big of a competition as possible to see where they are at.

Of course this is just exhibition so it doesn't come in with anything at all and they are just having fun, but at least they are not playing against some third division level team. Look at third and fourth divisions of premier league, they have bigger clubs in value then some of the UCL elimination teams currently playing. So it does matter to play against bigger clubs.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan reaffirm Web3 plans on: July 26, 2023, 06:38:10 PM
Japan has always been a lot more favorable towards crypto since the start. They were the one that mt.gox started, think about how old that was ago, and they were basically doing it there, and then they had plenty of card companies that accept bitcoin payment and then you can use that card in thousands of places all over the nation. These type of things matter in the end because it allows you to be a lot better and could result with you not having any issues at all.

I understand that people may end up making mistakes and that's why governments may end up making mistakes as well, so this road may have a lot of troubles and issues along the way, but when it's done it is going to be something to be proud of by the Japanese people.
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: July 26, 2023, 04:50:19 PM
Nations need to figure out a way to feed themselves, you can't rely on another nation to feed you and then be upset when something goes wrong. You were the one who relied on a different nation to feed your citizens, so when that nation does whatever they want, you were not ready for it.

I bet that it is going to be something difficult in the end, but if you can change anything then you are going to end up changing the situation a lot and you are going to end up with a situation where it will not be that interesting to see. I hope that people end up realizing that this isn't that easy, and we are going to end up seeing a whole lot of situation where it is going to be difficult, but this is just how things are and you need to be ready yourself.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: July 26, 2023, 02:23:45 PM
Unfortunately in my nation subsidy just means one thing; government helping out their family members. We have seen too many companies that are not crucial to the public end up getting part of our taxes just because those people ended up getting paid for it as well.

I want to point out that anytime taxes are used for anything but making the nation better, it is going to end up making it worse, there is no natural side of things, it is not going to end up being a bit of a change in the end and I feel like we are not going to see just straight up no change, we either do something good that helps all citizens, or if we are not using taxes like that, then it means we are doing something that will hurt them, those are the only options.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Market Need Promotes for Price up ? on: July 25, 2023, 07:09:20 PM
The best thing is the price action itself. What makes price go up is price going up. What I mean by that is that if we get from 30k to 33k, that increase makes it easier to also go to 35k and above. So each increase brings in its own increase along with it and takes it even further. If we go from 30k to 40k, then going to 50k suddenly becomes easier as well. That's what we should be considering as an option and I believe that we are going to end up becoming better and better eventually.

So just wait, when the bull run hits after the halving, we are going to go up, and that going up will make it go up more and that ... and the cycle will continue for a long time until we reach to a new ATH that is much higher than the one we have right now.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 25, 2023, 06:51:02 PM
Kane at united would be pretty good because he played in premier league all his life which means that he could be a great player there and could end up with a good amount of profit while playing for a team that plays in the same league.

At Bayern Munich he will most probably win a cup as well, they will most probably win the league as well, if they don't then that is going to be something troublesome and if he goes to United there is no guarantee of cup but nobody would put any pressure on him to win at least. That is why I believe that the least riskiest option would be United. All these are mute points as Tottenham asks for a lot of money and he is going to be not so young when his contract is over so either now or never for him.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other Things You Can Bet on Aside Sports and Casino Games on: July 25, 2023, 06:26:11 PM
These are mostly weird stuff I would probably not bet on. The only one that makes sense is presidential election, every 4 years I am guaranteed to bet on the USA elections, I may not be from there but I love betting on them. If I can find the bet for my own nation I do that too, which I usually find, and there are other nations too, like Macron winning against Le Pen is no brainer, sure Macron is disliked, but you are not going to vote for Hitler just because you dislike Macron.

Even with all these protests, I bet that Macron would still win. In any case, betting on presidential elections is a fun one, but aside from that I am not entirely sure if the others are good, specially about celebrity death, that's gruesome and distasteful.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $1,080 Billion powerball lotto winner in the USA on: July 24, 2023, 06:15:53 PM
I feel like the worst kind of situation would be the winner not realizing they won, which is not really impossible  considering some people just buy it and throw it aside as well. In the end whoever won this, their life may change but not for the better.

If you have seen any study on the lottery winners, you will see that a lot of them end up being poor and even in worse situation than before because they make stupid decisions and that causes them to be not doing that great. They will have to be forced to get their name out eventually, but when it does, their life will be terrible. They will be more like begging family members and friends and all that together and that's going to change their life for the worse. This isn't a business person making 400 million, this is lottery. A lot of money is good, but a lot of money all at the same time is terrible.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your watch list on: July 24, 2023, 05:56:59 PM
Some good advices here, it is nice to see the big names finally, before this topic whenever people said which coin you prefer I have seen a lot of people make a lot of silly choices and mostly that was terrible. I can't say that it was a good thing or not, but I can say that it is going to be ending up with a trouble eventually. So, it is a lot more important if you could end up with a good situation, that makes it a lot better.

It is going to take some time to adjust and be better, but that is not really a big trouble when you are looking at the big ones. Enough with small things that people shill all the time, they are boring and they are not really that good, we should be looking into things that are highly ranked like these.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Big Decentralized Alts (DOGE, LTC and XMR) - Speculation on: July 24, 2023, 04:01:59 AM
Litecoin was actually launched in 2011 if I am not wrong and it is one of the best alts out there because it is doing what it suppose to do and it is literally the lite version of bitcoin, it is not one people should ignore. It is also highly ranked as well and that means it is going to be around for a very long time.

Even after over a decade it can be staying this powerful which shows that no matter how many other coins with some new technological advancements happened in the crypto world, specially in blockchain world, we need to remember that it is going to be not that hard to stop this, and we need to make sure it happens a lot better. This is why it is quite important and needs to be reconsidered as a good thing for the time being.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 23, 2023, 06:18:04 PM
I still think that the most impressive debut for any player in MLS history must still go to Ibrahimovic. The fact that he got in, and made that very long shot to score as his first goal was insane, and then scored the game winning shot as well it was a header if I remember correctly and if not then it was something like that from a cross.

In the end, Messi will definitely bring a lot of attention to MLS as a whole, not just Inter Miami, but to the whole league and that's why he is getting a revenue share from Apple as well. Just like how before Ronaldo nobody cared about Saudi league, and now everyone is master at which team got which player, I feel like that will be the same thing for MLS as well after Messi arrived there.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: July 23, 2023, 05:16:52 PM
It is going to be hard to bet on these teams, I agree that Turkish people know what's going on better but right now it looks like they are just getting players constantly, every team is getting someone and it looks like it is going to be a bit different situation. For us foreigners it is really hard to keep up with rumors, and the official ones are not that plenty.

About Livakovic and Fenerbahce situation, as long as they can get him, they are going to be better at the goalkeeper position without a doubt, not sure who they have for national players, they need domestic players, but aside from Ferdi I do not know any Turkish Fenerbahce players myself, sure they look like they have some, but none that good. Plus most players they get look like forwards, that's a trouble.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about pepechain's PC token? on: July 23, 2023, 05:51:39 AM
Just sit back, look at the wall, and imagine yourself what pepechain could bring to your life and why anyone would want to buy it. What could make someone buy something called pepechain and increase its price a lot that makes it worth for you to invest into it. If you can't come up with a proper logical reasonable answer, that is alright because there is none and that is why you shouldn't invest into it. Why do people are so adamant about losing their money the worst way possible?

I mean this is obviously the worst possible way to invest and if you still insist on doing that then it is a bit your own fault as well. I believe that I would never invest into any meme project but even if I ever do, it won't be something as low ranked as this.
