1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 07, 2023, 03:44:22 PM
Understanding how financial world works, you will of course have to focus on the fact that it is not going to be possible to just save money aside and make it go up, you have to use money and even debt. Why do you think even the richest people end up taking a loan when they can afford to spend it from their pocket? Because they are aware that if you take 100 dollar loan, and pay 110 back in a year, you could invest that 100 and make 120+ instead, and that way you would be in profit.

Always try to keep as much money as you can afford on investment that can make you profit, and that way you would be able to actually grow much bigger on the long run, and you could make a debt during that period and you would be able to pay that back when your investment grows larger.
1102  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 07, 2023, 04:59:02 AM
A lot of people think that reaching to financial freedom is a one time thing but the reality is that it is not a one time thing, it is a constant thing that you need to do. It means, if you reach it today, then you will have to keep reaching it for a long period of time and that's the hardest part. I know that it feels like we are not going to see that change anytime soon, but if we get rich and be silly with our money then we are going to go back to being poor again.

This is why I hope that people realize it is not a silly thing to do and you should be aware of the situation you are in. Hopefully anyone who gets rich would just aim at trying to stay rich, that's what I would do, I would try to keep trying to be rich.
1103  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: July 07, 2023, 04:06:44 AM
Instead of being pessimistic about it, we could just accept the way it is and try to move further instead. Yes economy sucks, but we always had rich people in every time of the world, even during second world war we had rich people in the world. It means that if we do what we should be doing then we could potentially end up with a richer life, yes the world will get worse and worse, but individually I would get better and that's what I aim at doing right now.

If I could make enough money then I would be fine. For that, in my nation, making about 2-3 thousand dollars would mean you are comfortable, making 5 means you are stepping into being rich. Yes 5 thousand per month is not little, but that's not "rich" in most west nations, in my nation it's literally wealthy.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 07, 2023, 03:14:02 AM
I feel like as long as people are over 18, they should be able to gamble. I know that sounds like a very young age when you are old enough, I certainly think that 18 year olds are kids and not adults yet, but at the same time there are so many of them who go off to live their own life and not with their parents anymore.

It means that it is time for them to learn real life, I certainly did and it was a very tough wake up call to learn that I was a child that was cared for and real world do not care about me at all. Took me a few years to realize that I have to grab the bull by the horn and just ride it out, and they should be able to learn how difficult life is by making these mistakes. If they are any younger then it is not a lesson, their parents would help them as best as they can, if they are older then it is too late.
1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The hypocrisy of the UK on Cryptocurrency on: July 06, 2023, 06:41:44 PM
Why would they be any different? I mean they have been favoring the rich and disliking the poor since their creation to be fair, literally since the times of royal lords and regular plebs, we have seen UK be a bit more heavy on the rich and the powerful, so they are not acting any different in this case neither.

UK has been filled with people who have stolen from others and they have never cared about that even once, so it is not going to really change much in the future neither. I am guessing that the best thing to do in this case would be making sure that they are aware of the mistake they have done and take all the crypto companies and money people have in the UK outside, they will see how much tax they would lose that way and would reverse their action.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: July 06, 2023, 06:28:15 PM
I wouldn't be really able to answer to this because I never had something like this. People should realize that this is not a common thing and unless you lived something similar then all of your ideas are theory in the end. I believe that we should not be considering the situation common, because in the end it is not that common and we could end up with a result that would be just a suggestion, or assumption.

I have never turned that kind of small amount into a huge amount, if I ever did I would probably take out like 5k of it and put the rest into crypto as an investment. Think about it, with 22k total wagered, OP made 800k+ profit, with some logic, if I put that into crypto, I would have probably had a million dollars due to recent increase as well. I think that's the best way, can't say if I would be able to do that.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BRC-69 tokens, a new standard in Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 06:03:03 PM
These type of things do not matter until people overwhelmingly start using it. Look at Lightning network for example, that has promised a lot lower transaction fees for many years now and we are still not using it? Because it doesn't provide the same security feeling, it's just not ready yet and people are not using it, even though it's offering nearly free transactions.

Same goes all these "innovations", at the start they will get some hype by some people for sure but as long as we do not get overwhelming amount of support for it, as in like 80%+ of the market, then it's not going to matter. This could be nothing and we would still be using segwit in the years to come, it needs more attention and a lot more people adopting it.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 06, 2023, 05:05:40 PM
It was always expected that Kolo Muani would leave, he was just way too good for a team like that and he would be able to go play at any team he wants. All the teams in the world would want him, some of them are willing to pay for him as well.

Let's see which team he picks but looks like it's a done deal that he will leave, that much is guaranteed. Inflation really showed itself on football as well, back in the day anything close to 100 million was reserved for worldstar players, like the best of the best, Ronaldo type of players. Nowadays you get to see maybe at least 50 players that worth near that amount, even if not exactly that much, close to that. Kolo Muani is one of those players, apparently worth 80 million euro right now.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 06, 2023, 03:44:09 PM
I can answer all three, been here for many years so I have done my share of rounds. It certainly has helped me building better bets and thanks to that I have been losing less and getting more frequent wins overall as well.

I haven't been able to stop unfortunately so it hasn't helped there, but it certainly allowed me to gamble in a more healthy manner which is great, and lastly overall I have been gambling with more open mind which allowed me to be more flexible when gambling and earn more money that way. Hope that helps and gets better and we could move to a much better situation without a doubt. I hope that it gets to a point where it would be smart decision and we could end up with a community that helps each other more often.
1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin maximum price on: July 06, 2023, 03:09:09 PM
Reaching 100k before 2025 ends is my go to prediction these days. I know that I could be wrong but I am guessing that it is not going to be too much wrong. It is obvious that it is going to be close to that at the very least, or it will most likely be higher than that as well. People are reacting to this as something we should be caring about but the reality is that we are not going to get anything "that" marvelous from this at all.

It needs to be something that we need to be careful about and that means that we are going to reach out to a higher level but we do not know when that will start and when that will end. So if you get in too late and get out too late, then you are going to make a loss or not earn much during an epic bull run.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: July 06, 2023, 03:22:15 AM
From the game it is obvious that the missing players means a lot for Galatasaray, it is not like they were even remotely as good as they used to be last season. Remember that this team was the champion and they will be playing in the UCL and this was a second tier English club, so the difference should be high. Sure English clubs are usually better, but we are not talking about a top 10 premier league club, we are talking about a second tier league club, hence the difference should have been bigger.

Obviously this is just a friendly, so it doesn't matter, but it is obvious that they need to get some players to some positions because they have nobody there, and some players weren't there and didn't play even though they will be at the start of the season. Basically get Icardi and Parades, then do what you did last year and do not lose any players, and Galatasaray will be great again.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: July 06, 2023, 03:05:31 AM
How would we have improvements then? Crypto world is filled with alts that are not needed I agree with that, but there has been some alts that improved the blockchain world. All those ICO's and IEO's back in the day started a rush, and now the most recent one was DeFi and NFT for example, or metaverse, or play to earn, those were all improvements on what we already had.

This is why it is quite near impossible to have a bitcoin without having alts as well. Those things improve the blockchain world and what can be done with it and you need to accept that we need some of them otherwise it's just not going to work. I know that people are not excited about it as much as they could be, but we need to accept the terrible ones along with the good ones in order to continue.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: July 04, 2023, 07:04:31 PM
The problem with the release clause thing is that according to La Liga rules, you HAVE TO put a release clause into every single contract, of course it can be anything you want, it can be 1 euro, it can be 1 billion euro, it doesn't matter what it is but it has to be there. That is why they have it for all their players and not just pedri/gavi/arda, that is just the way it goes.

When you have young superstars that means you do not want to sell them, you want to keep them and looking how putting 1 billion makes sure that nobody can buy them without your consent, that is going to be a good thing. Or, even if you want to sell the player, you can sell whatever the price you put on them, not what the release clause dictates because that's too high.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 04, 2023, 06:25:00 PM
A lot of people know that it will be a great period and the price will be high. So, why is it not high right now? Well, it is already 2x what the bottom was, and you think that has nothing to do with the halving? I think that is mainly the halving for sure, secondly we are not "that" close, it's still in 2024 that means next year, sure we are getting closer and less than a year left but we are not in November or December neither, so a lot of things could happen in the middle.

I believe it is already time to buy, we are even a little late to buy if we haven't bought any. I bought some and keep buying until the halving (and probably after that too) and I would suggest everyone to keep doing the same thing because it will surely go up.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 04, 2023, 06:00:02 PM
The fact that people think they can "somehow" win against the house edge and can mathematically do this always makes me laugh. You need to realize that it's mathematically impossible to keep winning because the odds are against your own good and even at the best mathematical chance to win, you are ignoring the mathematical chance of losing on the long run anyway.

Just take the flip of a coin for example, you said it's 50%, that's true, and you can act accordingly and win, but you are forgetting that it is also quite possible that you would be able to see 10-20-30 losses in a row there as well. This is why I always say that do this type of gambling for fun and have entertainment, otherwise it's not going to work for you and you will be upset.
1116  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 04, 2023, 05:42:03 PM
If Gary actually does end up quitting then we are going to have a huge pump in bitcoin without a doubt, it is not going to be even remotely close to what it is and we are going to see something that will change a ton. I know that people are not super excited about the situation and all, but that doesn't mean that we are going to be happy about it neither, we could just end up with a loss on a ton of people who sold and got out.

We do not know if he will though, maybe he will and maybe he won't so it is not a sure thing. If not, then we are going to have a decent month, not a huge high, not a huge low, it is going to be about where it is, maybe just a little high or low but that's about it. I really expect him to quit, that would be lovely.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 04, 2023, 04:52:41 AM
Onana does look like he would worth about 40 max 50 million to be fair, I do not think that the offer is too bad. What are they expecting for Onana? 100 million? Lol, that's the amount of money you could expect for a decent goalkeeper these days and not a lot more and even all over online, the worth for him is about 35 to 40 million range so the offer is not bad at all.

I understand Inter doesn't need to sell, they can just keep him, and when you are not willing to sell then it becomes a lot harder to buy that player for anyone else. However, it looks obvious that we are going to end up with a situation where they are going to provide some more money. I would say offer 50 million straight up, and do not offer a dime more, he won't worth more than that at all.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 02, 2023, 06:34:02 PM
This topic started in January 4th of 2023, so at the start of this year basically and we are in July now. We have 6 months done, and we are above 120 pages already, which means that there has been 20 pages per month, nearly at a level of 0.75 pages per day give or take.

That should be showing you how much this league got popular and when you are wondering why they are overpaying players more than what they are worth, it is 100% definitely not about how good those players are. They do not care about that, they all get someone, that's not the point. The point is that we wrote almost 1 page per day for this league, over half a page at the very least. This is why they spent that money, to be talked about, to be known, and to be followed. They achieved it.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2023, 06:11:03 PM
Miami would be a great place for Dame, they already have Butler and Adebayo, and a lot of shooters with duncan and herro as well. That means we are going to end up with a squad that will be very good for the current era of basketball. They have one big that is very talented both on defense and on rebounding and could scoop up points inside when needed, that is very good, not star on offense and scoring for sure but at least like get the offensive rebound or something or do pick and roll decently and also most importantly lock inside down on defense.

Dame and Butler could take over depending on which one is hot, and they could always pass it outside to some of the three pointers which would help them on the long run without a doubt, like when defense collapses on the same person all the time, they can pass it out.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 02, 2023, 09:09:53 AM
Odegard definitely looks like the type of player PSG needed for a long time. They have been lacking that position and their midfield is lackluster. I understand Veratti and Vitinha may look "expensive" players but the reality is that they are only expensive because they are at PSG, remove them from PSG and put them on a mid table team and they do not worth the way they are without PSG affect.

So long story short they needed someone better for sure and Odegard could play at midfield. What they actually need is a player like Kevin De Bruyne, both world class level and probably best at his position, but also definitely fits amazingly well with Mbappe as well, that duo could make each other better, just like he did that with Haaland this season.
